#NoFilter - Senators Feinstein & Graham: Hypocrites on Spying?

178 ratings | 3746 views
When Edward Snowden revealed the extent of the NSA's spying program, senators Dianne Feinstein and Lindsey Graham rose to the agency's defense. But now that it's been revealed that the CIA turned their surveillance on the senate itself, both Feinstein and Graham are up in arms and demanding answers. In this latest #NoFilter rant, host Ana Kasparian breaks down this latest instance of government hypocrisy and blatant example of these senators' unswerving service to the powerful at the expense of the rest of us. Senators are power hungry cookie monsters....they can care less about the people they serve. This type of shit gets me upset. And ana is right, they never stand up for us, they only stand up for themselves as you just saw....one day we'll see.....god bless yall....peace.

Ana, as usual, is right on the mark.  Sen. Feinstein and Sen. Graham are hypocritical in regard to the indiscriminate spying on the American people.

So this dumb bitch feels that she is more important than the people of America , that the NSA should ask her ? Lol these corrupted politicians hopefully never be the president or vp of the future

I'm not surprised: Nixon didn't get into trouble until his "plumbers" targeted the DNC headquarters at the Watergate Hotel. When his thugs went after anti-war types, it was OK.

The senator was wrong spying isn't protecting. But on this matter she is right its outrageous that a government agency are spying on elected officials who are investigating them. This is some creepy J. Edgar Hoover shit.

I love almost anything Ana Kasparian says or does but this is the best report I've seen from her. Straight to the point, clear proof of what she's saying, controlled but justified anger. Perfect.

I'm gonna leave a lazy comment because I don't feel like researching it so my apologies. Is their a way to forcefully eject all these people from office(like impeachment)? Or does it simply come down to voting them out? Again sorry I'm being lazy. :P

Remove every single one of them and elect people between the ages of 30 and 60 who will defend the constitution and we can wipe out all of this excess in one fell swoop

Sure it's even MORE about national security to spy on those in power. If they're scared of what the average person can do to the country, they should be terrified about what those 'in power' can do to the country. IF 9/11 was carried out by Al-Quida (or whoever they decided did it eventually, but not paid for by Saudi Arabia of course), then it took years of planning to get people in the right positions. Surely they're patient and clever enough to get such people into government and therefore it's MORE important to spy on government (and far easier) than spying on the entire world. Love the hypocrisy, hate that people just don't seem to care. Where are the mass protests, sit-ins, blackouts, strikes, boycotting of elections? American's are great at doing nothing. You guys could learn something from the French. They may be the butt of the world's joke, but they know how to kick the elite out when they've had enough.

Congress has declared war on the American People.  That's why they have this double standard.  It's us vs them.

You mean spying was only going to be for us lowly plebs, not for esteemed senators?

Like here in Germany, our politicians didn't give a damn about the NSA spying on the German people. Until the Story about Merkel's Mobile Phone broke. Hypocrites of the highest order.
