Dr Ravindra L Kulkarni, MD FSCAI performing angiography(femoral)
Procedure-You will be given a local anesthetic in your groin or your wrist. An incision (cut) is made and a catheter (a fine, flexible, hollow tube) is passed into an artery in your groin or wrist. During the procedure, some dye is injected into the catheter to make your coronary arteries show up on the X-ray.
You may feel warm flushing feeling when this happens. The doctor will pass the catheter into your coronary arteries, to see if there are narrowing within them. Had this done back in December 2016. Was found to have 3 occluded arteries (100%, 100% & 95%). Did a triple CABG on December 9 and was back to work on limited duty 4 weeks later. Still have left arm and 2 fingers that hurt but I was told this was because of the way I was strapped down during the CABG. Hope to feel better soon! Still don't feel 100% :/
+Amrina Patel sorry to know this . Outcome of any cardiac procedure depends on underlying chronic diseases , time of procedure as well as expertise and clinical set up . We do come across poor outcomes even at best of best places and experts . It is also good practice to know the benefits and risks of the procedure before patient undergoes the procedure .
it's India where doctors don't give anaesthesia. u could see the man was in pain. one of them was not wearing glove and one was in flipflops!! the worst part is that doc was paying attention to attention of medical students... look here!!
The class of drugs that Levitra, Viagra, Stendra, and Cialis belong to are called PDE5 inhibitors. They work by relaxing tight blood vessels, allowing more blood to surge into the penis and cause an erection, says Gregory Bales, M.D., an associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago.
The little pills do the trick for more than two-thirds of men with Viagra protects the heart (ED). They also work for guys who simply need them for a short time to get their “confidence back,” says Michael Eisenberg, M.D., director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at Stanford University.
