This is a quick video discussoin looking at cordyceps sinensis. This is a fungus that appears to be able to enhance ATP production, blood oxygenation, testosterone and more. It might be a powerful way to combat overtraining or adrenal fatigue and while it's impossible to rule out placebo, I do feel it might be having those effects for me...
If you want to check out the studies and get some more detailed information, you can find my full write-up here: http://www.thebioneer.com/cordyceps-op-supplement-energy-strength-virility/
Very useful, I was about to try Cordiceps after reading about it a couple of weeks ago. Actually I do also prefere the fact that is a synthetic one instead of a mummified worm...Anyway, I think it would be interesting if you could do some videos about supplements to raise Testosterone levels or alertness, such as Maca, Ashwaganda, Gaba, Tongkat Ali and so on, maybe focusing on effectiveness, interactions and doses. Thanks and bye for now!
I saw a video just the other day from a very reputable expert on YouTube. This is about a study of people with cirrhosis of the liver. Here it is: "Out of 22 Cirrhosis patients taking 6 - 9 grams of Cordyceps Sinensis daily, all improved with 68% showing no signs of cirrhosis in subsequent biopsies." This is wonderful news for anyone looking for help in healing cirrhosis!
What has stopped COPD lung disease dead, In my life, is a little known mushroom in capsules form, called Cordyceps. It is sold in almost any health food store. "Now" is a reliable source and Swanson, is another. Check out on line or YouTube for the cheapest and best quality cordyceps. All I'm saying is it has all but stopped COPD dead in its tracks. Thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ for all his created things for our health.
well i've just to began my cure to heal a permanent anemia due à mircocytosis du the fact that my blood celles were permantently samll, and it is the same for my white cells in my blood, plus to cure my lungs and sinus with a permanent problem of super production of mucus, regards, from France
I'm using a supplement that i got myself couple days ago. It has cordyceps and other stuff in it. Check it out and tell me about your opinions on the product!
Manufacturer: Terra nova
Product: Vibrant synergy
Please check it out! But have to say that it works!
Thanks for the vid brother! I was wondering if you have tired Mucuna Pruriens by any chance.
I was looking for a supplement to keep my dopamine level at a natural state and stumbled to Mucuna which works great for the first hour or two but then feel groggy, slightly of out of it, and my lymph nodes under my neck started to swell and hurt. It may be an allergic reaction or a crappy brand.
Anywho, I just purchased Host Defense' Cordychi which contains cordyceps and reishi and can definitely feel like my body is beathing better and have an increased motivation level I would say. It's my first day trying it so I'm interested to see its benefits as the week progresses. Any recommendations for healthy dopamine levels?
Hey man, its actually going really well! My sleep is deeper, I have more energy, a boost in mood, and definitely feel healthy overall when i take it.I would consider it one of my favorite supplements as well. The one I'm taking is HostDefene's Cordychi, which is a cordyceps and reishi blend.. I read a study on ncbi that stated that cordyceps can normalize your dopamine levels and i feel like theres some truth to that.
Reasons for trying to normalize my levels or keep them at a healthy range is because I noticed when i tried Mucuna, my workflow was better and I could come to logical conclusions easier. Thanks for the recomendations, will look into l-tyrosine!
How is it going for you now? It's very hard to rule out placebo with these things, but I always felt cordyceps was one of the better supplements out there. I've not used Mucuna Puriens. Options for dopamine... l-tyrosine, l-dopa... caffeine really tbh! May I ask why you're trying to raise it? Thanks for watching!
Bodybuilders are very unattractive...... Hello men and women, Muscle butts are disgusting. Veiny legs are disgusting , Big muscle chests are disgusting , All of it's unhealthy, unsustainable , and very very unappealing sexuallyYou are abusing your body You aren't making it healthier.
it actually works ... but these pills are mostly lab grown cordyceps in the western world which are not as effective as the real one ...buy organic cordyceps straight from the himalayas .. www.himalayanharvester.com
Hi. I was intrigued by this, so I went to the health food shop to get some. The only thing I could find was mushroom coffee(four sigma foods) which contains cordyceps & chaga. So lets see what happens, will I be revived & be able to find my long lost mojo:-) At least I'm hoping it will help with my training.
Hi Adam, Thanks for making this video I have been taking this supplement now for about 4 days and I believe its helped with my chest as I have had a cold and I have noticed my breathing through the night has been much bettter no weasing or coughing which has been great. No signs yet though of any boost in testosterone but i guess being ill dosen't help on that front. I am 45 and have been lacking in testosterone for the last five years which has been very annoying so I am allways interested in anything that can raise my levels. I am taking lots of different things like tonghat ali horny goat weed, dhea. These seem to help I just need to consume less alcohol for them to be more effective I think. I gave the milk a try last night on your recomendation and this seemed to work with morning wood so I will try this again tonight and see what happens all the best james
Did you find that the supplement helped stop on onset of fatigue after exercise as well as the mornings?
I'd love to know as I typically exercise in the mornings then slog throughout the day in zombie mode. (On a side note I think I own the same sofa as you lol)
Lol! Then I must congratulate you on your awesome taste in sofas! And I hadn't really noticed the immediate post-workout effect tbh, as that's not something I really experience. Normally after a workout I actually get a pick-me-up through the day. I'll keep an eye on that though and see if I can spot a difference...
You said it can increase testosterone by 200%. My concern would be this supplement might speed up my hair loss by increasing The amount of DHT (a type of testosterone) my body produces.
This is the same problem I had with creatine. Which sucks because I really want to use this supplement.
Too many guys stressing about that these days. Lot of friends complaining about it. Why worry tho? You a man or a bitch? Its hair dude unless your on some hunger games shit like the rest of these idiots with their hairdos and beards fuck it. Raise the test levels get jacked and enhance your performance its worth the trade off of earlier hairloss.
Joe P if you are worried about DHT, you could use a DHT blocker. The problem is not that you have high DHT levels but rather, you are predisposed to hair loss. In fact, as your DHT levels fall (with aging), your body will try to push more DHT into your bloodstream. You can try using Minoxidil+ Olive Oil on the head. Saw Palminto may help with DHT production but I do not recommend trying to reduce your DHT. Try to focus on Cortisol levels by reducing stress which is far more damaging to your hair. Keeping good health by drinking water, eating health and light exercise should help as well.
Thanks a lot, glad to hear you've watched a few of the videos :-) It's always hard recommending decent cognitive boosters as the stronger ones tend to be the more risky in terms of side effects etc. Ciltep is pretty good though and some people enjoy MCT oil. For long-term cognitive benefits omega 3 is pretty hard to beat. But actually, I really enjoy using a good multivitamin with plenty of vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin B complex, magnsium and zinc. One I'm a fan of is Men's Health Defence. Good luck, let me know how you get on :-D
you make a good case for trying this. I'm a tree surgeon and I'm often heavily fatigued. Too fatigued to exercise a lot of the time, and I find that if I don't take time to train my job gets a lot harder.
There seem to be a few buying options on Amazon. Have you tried other brands other than the one you've shown here?
Adam Sinicki cool. Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if there's an option that does have the fruiting body?
As for tree surgery; if you'd have told me when I was a kid that when I grew up I'd be climbing trees for a living, I wouldn't have believed you. The if you'd have told me too that one day I'd actually be bored of climbing trees I would have been equally incredulous :/
Still, it pays the rent:)
That's precisely the kind of scenario it seems to have helped me with. Again, could be placebo but so far it seems pretty promising. I have only tried this one brand. Actually though, it's not ideal as it does not contain the fruiting body. This is something called 'Cs-4', however some of the studies carried out used that form and still found the same things, so maybe it doesn't matter. I haven't found one yet that contains the fruiting body unfortunately. Let me know how you get on with it!
Oh and tree surgeon is an awesome job :-D
The class of drugs that Levitra, Viagra, Stendra, and Cialis belong to are called PDE5 inhibitors. They work by relaxing tight blood vessels, allowing more blood to surge into the penis and cause an erection, says Gregory Bales, M.D., an associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago.
The little pills do the trick for more than two-thirds of men with Viagra protects the heart (ED). They also work for guys who simply need them for a short time to get their “confidence back,” says Michael Eisenberg, M.D., director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at Stanford University.
