Hi Dr Berg, Wanted to. know what if youre on anticoagulants and you've had a PE and a DVT, what should you do? What should you eat? How does one cure themselves after repetitive issues like this? Am utterly confused with all the data available
Dr Berg, out of a concern for low levels of potassium (cramping calves and feet) I started taking the electrolytes. I haven't tested but I believe I am insulin resistant at this time. My waistline, slow metabolism, etc are my symptoms. Is the calcium in the electrolytes okay to take every day? I have been on keto and intermittent fasting for 3 and a half weeks now. Thank you for your awesome videos. They have helped me address and work on my issues at age 63, finally.
@geno, actually they are designed to run on plants. It's as simple as looking at humans teeth. Also, did you know meat is the absolute hardest for the liver and kidneys to break down? It's ok that you're misinformed but maybe do some in-depth research before you try and act like you know what you're talking about
what qualifies as High Vit C. I drink 64 0z of water a day usually go through 1-2 lemons a day squeezed into the water. I am doing keto down 27 lbs so far and take a magnesium supplement. Im thinking of adding a K2 and D3 Supplements
Dear Dr Berg. Thank You for this video. My nieces are vegetarians since childhood. Their grandmother had atherosclerosis and eventually both legs were amputated in her 50's. Both my nieces have "inherited" this condition as well as Raynaud's and some other which I can't recall. Which fats can they eat which will increase vitamin K since they are mostly vegan/ vegetarian? Their mother is also vegetarian. She does not have atherosclerosis, however other nervous conditions.
Dr Burg I get serious bad cramps in the legs at night, I have just started taking Magnesium diasporal in water before bed, Each 5.5g sachet contains : Magnesium citrate 2.58g Equiv to Magnesium 400mg. Been 2 nights without cramp. My calf muscles are so sore from cramp 3 nights ago. I am Intermittent fasting every day 16/8 and doing ketogenic. Been doing this for 3 to 4 months. Been great. Please any more suggestions you have would be appreciated, thank you, Catherine
Your video is well done explaining your well done graphic, however tu recvomend people to eat cheese in order to absorb calcium and to have vitamin K2 it’s missleading at best! With all due respect the evidence in science clearly shows that cheese is one of the most unhealthy and un natural food to eat! Caseine is the most proven cancer promoting protein and the amount of fat and sodoum in cheese is just so unhealthy! Maybe you are representing the dairy industry but if you want to really help people with truthful and evidence based news you should stick with whole food plant based, thank you!
Another great video. Thanks Dr Berg. I have a couple of queries: If as u say Insulin drives up Cholesterol why is it that many Keto Dieters have sky high Cholesterol & Vegans very low Cholesterol? You'd think it would be the complete opposite.
Also, according to Dr Fred Kummarow Trans Fats AND Oxidized Cholesterol are the causes of Heart Disease. What is your opinion on this?
Hi Dr. Berg, I had a heart attack 10 years ago at age 34. They were unable to put a stint because of an anurism so I ended up having a double bypass. One artery was 100 % blocked and the other was 90% blocked. I have been on crestor since then and recently got switched to rosuvastatin. I have been wanting to get off of statin drugs as I am worried of other bad side effects that I have watched and read on youtube from other Doctors. Is there a possibility of ever getting off this drug and just eat healthy? I exercise daily for an hour already... my diet could be better... working on it :) I would like to hear your take on this. Thanks for your time!
Dr Berg, Can one really eat enough of these foods quickly enough to clear dangerously blocked arteries? If one takes a D3/K2 supplement does it lift the deposits rather than dissolve them and create a potentially life threatening situation?
Dr. Berg thank you. I started the Keto diet in January and recently felt my heart was very tight when i jogged. Went for an EKG and stress test and both show some abnormality. what went wrong. Please advise. thank you. Laird

Good evening Dr. Berg, I would like to thank you for your abundant and very interesting and enriching videos. I have a question, you say that the tyrosinase helps in the forming of collagen, however, in my research, I have found that the tyrosinase controles the production of melanin. Could you please give me some specification about the link between Vitamin C and tyrosinase and how, combined, they can protect the arteries? Wishing you the best
Stop smoking that stuff Dr ---you know that the intra-arterial injury is multi-factorial but AGE is the major cause--and something else, you need to investigate your self --STOP making up stories with Cholesterol, Sugar, Insulin, Anti-oxidants etc and end up with treatment exercise and Diet
I discovered you when I started looking at your videos about the thyroid, (diagnose 2 years ago) then got interested in everything keto and now since the heart is the No1 disease in my family I am now watching all your videos on heart, arteries etc....it’s my second time here with this video. The first time I watched I went out and got Vitamin D3 with K2 and since I am almost finish my bottle I thought I would come back and check to make sure I did the right thing...:). The difference is now I am 99.9% keto (6 months) I do organic and grass fed everything...I have also been looking at videos from Yvor Cummings since your interview with him. I wish I had a Dr who was more open to my heart concern it would make it easier to know what to do next and also know my heart health.
Thank you for all the easy to understand info. I lost 20 pounds almost immediately on keto. I can’t loose anymore. (I now weigh 105 pounds) I just need to deal with some inflammation and some belly and thigh fat.
Hi Dr, I just found it out both my legs have blocked aritrys, its burning tingling n numb, i had high cholesterol past 4 years n i was taking medications as well as blood thinging asprin, i dont no how it happen n i m having problrm driving n walking, please doctor help me.
Hi, I live in London and have recently been diagnosed with arterial heart disease. I lost my brother and, last year, my nephew to this disease; so it is a family trait.
I have never liked nor eaten anything sweet and again, I don’t like bread, pasta, potatoes and very little refined carbs. My diet consists of dairy, green veg and protein. I don’t smoke.
I am slim; exercise regularly; blood pressure perfect. In fact all perfect apart from my Cholesterol being a little high. At the present moment my blood is pumping without restriction. I have been advised to take a daily aspirin and a new statin, which is pretty powerful, and for people with my problem.
The Cardiologist was truthful when advising that, apart from smoking, they didn’t really know what caused the arteries to harden and that I am already doing everything she would recommend.
From what you’re saying, I’m probably receiving Vit K2 from my diet. But, in any event, I have purchased K2 along with D3.
My bones are extremely strong and I definitely do not require any additional Calcium or Vit C.
Thank you for this information of which, I am most grateful.
The class of drugs that Levitra, Viagra, Stendra, and Cialis belong to are called PDE5 inhibitors. They work by relaxing tight blood vessels, allowing more blood to surge into the penis and cause an erection, says Gregory Bales, M.D., an associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago.
The little pills do the trick for more than two-thirds of men with Viagra protects the heart (ED). They also work for guys who simply need them for a short time to get their “confidence back,” says Michael Eisenberg, M.D., director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at Stanford University.
