I want to share with other people out there my before and after pics of toenail fungus. I was suppose to do it back in 2010 but I forgot. Today, I was bored with a lot of time so I thought I'd make a video. To those who are curious about Lamisil, well its a 3 month course of pills. They can have bad side effects, however I experienced NONE. That's just me of course, everyone is different. If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message.
Was a dancer for 10 years and once I stopped I started developing this. Lord knows how but mine looks way worse than this. For 2 years I haven't shown my toes at all, been covering them with ankle socks, which didn't make it better. Each time the clippings were sent off to the lab they came back negative for fungus, but my doctor was adamant and told me to chose between the polish or tablet. As the polish may not work and takes longer, I went straight for the tablets. Started a week ago and hopefully it'll work. Each time I would file my big toe nails toe, they would grow upwards within 2 weeks. Doc says you don't see any improvement for 2 months and then 2 months later the nails should be fully grown back. Hoping that by the end of this year I can finally prance around without being embarrassed. I'm taking risks with existing medical conditions and tablets I take for that which cause liver problems, but cut down on alcohol, drink plenty of fluids throughout the day and have your blood liver count tested once your course is over.
Hey, did you also read all the comments about Sammy Rokernal’s website? Google it, and if you want, check it out later. What you’ll find could be shocking to read, or is it just a fluke, the same day? Who knows!
I had a very bad reaction ( 80% body rash) to Lamisil oral pills ( for toenail fungus)and stopped taking them less than a month into the treatment. The fungus cleared up even without doing the entire recommended 3 months dosage. The body rash cleared away within a week and after reading internet accounts of even worse side effects from Lamisil ( sometimes a permanent loss of smell/taste was the worst) I decided never to try that route again. The fungus came back eventually, a few years later, and only affected a four toes including both big toes. No pain, just the normal ugly yellowish and brittle nature of nail fungus. It wasn't that bad, but it was noticeable, and the fact I didn't like fungus messing with my feet.
What I did discover from a regular California MD was that over-the-counter Lamisil cream might be effective if applied to the Toenails, specifically applied under the cuticle, which will slightly lift up/separate a few millimeters from the toe plate. I was apprehensive after the pills, but given the advice to try it "religiously" for a month, in which I applied on and off very loosely ( 1 day a week sometimes.) My nails are almost "healed, meaning that new healthy nails have grown in by using the store-bought Lamisil cream, and no side effects. I am still leery of medications ( including Lamisil), but am glad that it is working.
After trying numerous remedies to get rid of a nail fungus on one of my sister’s nails for over a year. She found this fungus treatment method “kamwoso press” (Google it). She saw results right away! The black/purple area on her nail bed disappeared.
My sister’s big toes were all "ate up" with fungus infection, about three-quarters of the nail straight from the tip. Following the tips of one of the reviewers here, she utilized this fungus treatment solution “kamwoso press” (Google it), her large toenail is finally back and fungus free.
I just started on a 90 day supply of Terbinafine 250mg tablets on February 23, 2017. My toenail fungus started back in early 2015 after I had came down with athlete's foot on both of my feet on and around my toes and along came toenail fungus on some of my toenails. I successfully got rid of the athlete's foot with Lotrimin antifungal power, but I was still left with toenail fungus. The cause of all this was walking bare foot from the locker room to the shower at Planet Fitness. Well after this bad experience, I no longer go bare footed at public places anymore. I now wear sandals when I'm in the locker room and in the public shower after I workout at Planet Fitness.
My sister’s large toes were all "ate up" with fungus infection, about three-quarters of the nail starting from the tip. Fortunately, she also stumbled on this fungus treatment, “kamwoso press” (Google it) from a reviewer here and began to try it. Because of that, the fungus was eradicated from her big toenail..
15 years with that crap. Finally went to doctor 3 days ago and was prescribed this one. Looks promising honestly I dont know what I have been waiting for, makes me think, what other areas of life I have been neglecting for years now...
Same here! I have been dealing with toenail fungus for over 10 years now. I tried every over the counter cream and nothing worked. I finally decided to go to a podiatrist who prescribed Lamisil pills for three months. It will be two months of me taking the pill next week, and I can already see drastic improvement! I am beyond happy and excited to finally have clear and beautiful toenails!
OH WOW THAT'S WONDERFUL... I HAVE A FINGERNAIL FUNGUS so my doc. prescribed me Jubilia.. i was hype like this is great.. it didn't so today went i went to see him he asked me how are my nails doing? i said awful he said i'm going to prescribe you the pill i was like no i heard they damage your liver.. he said no.... take the pills they have an 87% success rate.. i need my hands to look pretty again.. and clear so i'm starting to day .. did you take the pill every day ? he said i will take every day for a week then nothing for 3 weeks then another week.. and so one for 3 months.. yes ?
Did you have your liver enzymes tested while taking Lamisil? You may feel fine, but still have liver damage. Very important test to have after 1st month. The product works, but might leave you worse off.
I was in the army for 12 years, and had a very serious case of this. Trust me when I say I've tried everything. Iv spent hundreds of pounds I even went to a private clinic and had my nails removed, they just grew back as they were before. Now I braved it up and put my fears aside and seen my doctor. I was given six months worth of pills of terbinafine, 6 Weeks in now and I'm nearly clear 😀
I bought this kind of pills yesterday good for three months but Im afraid to take it. My Doctor did not ordered for liver and kidney test before starting taking pills. Is it worth it to try or should I do the test first before taking this pills?
Nice toenails, but dread to see your liver? I had bad reactions days into taking them nausea, delirium, sleeplessness, breathlessness, headaches, dizziness, diarrhea and vomiting, just generally feeling progressively bad, as if i had taken some toxic substance. Five days were enough to convince me that this stuff was going to do me irreparable harm if I continued taking them and gave up, within 48 hours of stopping the relief was very noticeable, took me a few days after that to get back to feeling healthy again. This drug is a toxin, i can live with and treat the fungal infection externally without having to destroy myself from within.
It's possible that the nausea was from fungal "die off". Fungus release toxins when they die. If you have a systemic fungal infection such as candida you'd likely feel terrible from all the die off. Who knows, maybe you're just sensitive to the meds
I tried that, it didn't work. It also spread to my fingers. I had to have my toenails removed permanently. My fingernails were also removed, and I kept my fingertips soaked is Lamisil cream while they were growing back. I hope I'm cured now.
Doc gave me 6 months treatment just like that... Docs can be stupid sometimes she saw my ugly ass feet , and gave me double the medicine, I'm done with my third month now.... It's very tempting to just keep on taking them.. Think Ill stop at 4 months
Crucial yes it's been like a year after and it worked like a miracle and I'm healthy but I can't say it was easy taking that medication
I pushed thru all my side effect! In the end it was worth it , changed my life completely
I am 1 week into my prescription of terbinafine 250mg. My doctor gave me a liver function test before giving me the script. After 6 weeks my doctor will give me another liver function test. Doctor says the medication continues to be active in your body 2 months after your last dose.My nail fungus is on all of my fingernails. Had it for about 10 years and covered with nail polish. I decided to see if these pills will help. Keeping fingers crossed.
I didn't really see any fungus, nails look ok...my doctor said mine look fine too but i know something is wrong and im certain i got fungus at early stage. I know my doctor is a fucking retard with 0 experience and came from worst possible school (free insurance). I don't want to wait until my nails are ruined for these retard doctors to help. I was told Lamisil in capsule form is the best medicine for this, if i do not have this fungus, is there any risk to taking the medication? where can i get it for best price? Anyone could help me out would really appreciate it
+Comrade By the 11th day of taking them i started getting VERY bad siezing of my lower back and my love handles, i woke up so winded, took one for 1 more day and it was even worse pain... the pain was so intense i couldn't get up or breath properly for a second... and the first 2 days i felt quite dizzy and weak for an hour after taking them, so honestly it's too risky trying them, you never know how your going to react... so don't waste your money, doctors aren't doing their job properly knowing it's a risk.
Try the vinegar and if that doesn't work try tea tree oil or vicks vapour rub, i've heard all these things work but it just depends what works for you, the same things don't work for everybody. Also if you have athletes foot too wear flip-flips and expose them to the sun if your from a hot country, if not go under some sun beds, when i went to Turkey about 5 weeks ago the heat killed the fungus out of my skin, didn't get rid of the toenail fungus though sadly... make sure your feet get nice and sunburnt. I don't know if it would still help along curing toenail fungus too though, i didn't try... so it's definitely worth trying that since it seems to cure athletes foot.
+Comrade the side effects of this stuff can be pretty bad for some people and when I checked it out is was way to expensive not sure what it cost now either way I had it pretty bad for over 10years I recently started applying white vinegar to my nails with a Q-tip making sure to get under the nail and by the looks of this vid it has worked way faster on way worse nails and its super cheap hope this helps
Okie upddate from day 12 (which was yesterday), been getting very bad side spasms like where the love handles are then across the bottom of my back radiating to the top of my back up the middle, it was mostly sore up the middle of the bottom of my back too. I thought maybe this was because of the way i was lying while doing my eyebrows, like i was lying down but leaning up to get a better light in the little mirror, but i take my tablets later on like an hour and a half to 2 hours after my main meal, i don't get up till really late ether because i go to sleep at all the wrong hours of the morning... but i still get 8 - 9 hours sleep, i've been having some issues with my hormones too since last year so it makes me stay up till the early hours.
I took my tablet yesterday on the 12th day, thinking it was my fault maybe my back and sides are sore so didn't assume, woke up again today and the pain worse, totally winded me, when i sat up my breath was knocked out of me, but both days my sides and back got better again, i'm not feeling much pain any more, still a slight ache but mostly gone, so definitely the Terbinafine. I woke up 3 times the other morning and early this morning too so it was slightly effecting m sleep too, i also feel like crap :(, these are 3 of the bad symptoms of Terbinafine :( I don't know if i should keep taking them or space them out, think i should phone the docs and see what they say, take at your own risk.
I know what's possibly going on from reading up, i've got dry eyes too that my mum said she got when she started menopause and i read that dry eyes can also be related to hormone changes or imbalances, i've had and have many of the symptoms so it's just a matter of getting tests to determine what i may be low in or too high in. I will definitely try my best twice a day, how much would you say i should put each nail? just a dab or 2 of it with a cotton swab?.
Dr. Josh Axe on YouTube has alot of great advice on hormones and many other things very helpful also the vinegar you can put on just whenever so long as you do it on a daily basis I just do it as part of my daily routine
It felt more like muscle spasms because after 2 hours of being awake, sitting up and moving around it was just GONE lol until... the next day when i woke up... lol, spasms is one of the side effects definitely but it just says spasms, it should say SEVERE spasms because it really was.. i have read quite a few reports of peoples hair falling out too and i DO NOT want that to happen... i love my hair lol it's natural hair, never dyed or anything... so no thank you, i will definitely be chucking the terbinafine away.
I'm not sure i can manage twice a day because when i wake up i'm a zombie...i can't do anything till i've had 2 big glasses of water and some breakfast so i need at least 2 hours before i do anything, i guess... i could try... i've more or less sorted my sleep pattern though, still having a couple issues with it because i'm now wanting to sleep 10 hours a night :( urgh... so my hormone problems are running havock on me all the time... defintely gonna get some tests done asap, been trying to wake at 9am and being on holiday helped, got up at 9 the first week then now it's 10 or 11am. I've had my feet like this for like 9 years at least, my nails only just recently started getting worse.
on day 11 of a 28 day course for tinea corporis. mostly i just get headaches but otherwise i'm ok so far. i don't think 250mg is enough i might go see to get more. unless it should work soon idk it just seems like it works a bit but not as well as topical application. i read you can have up to 1250mg per day safely. did anyone else have success with just 250mg for 28 days?
+Pulsed Neutrino Actually i take it back i would worry... for the last 2 days i've had bad side and back spasms, was worse today when i woke up, thought it was my fault from leaning forward while i was laying down to do my eyebrows, i did it to get a better light in my little mirror, but i take it later on about 1 and a half - 2 hours after my main meal, and both yesterday and today my sides and back felt better as the day went on, i woke up quite winded though especially today... omg... so painful... soon as i sat up it knocked the air out of me it hurt that much... but again it's hardly there any more. I also woke up 3 times yesterday morning and this morning so it effected my sleep too, so not so good :( think i will phone my doc and see what they say, id honestly consider spacing them out and taking them every 2 days, it;s too much on the body. Feel so crap too, i;ve been having hormone problems too since last year so it makes me not sleep till the early hours but i still get 8 - 9 hours sleep, usually never makes me wake up 3 times a night though.
+Pulsed Neutrino I got a bit of dizzyness, lowered concentration, numb senses and a bit floppy for 2 hours after taking them, it makes me lose concentration even when playing a game or typing lol i'm like "what was i doing? oh yeh..." lol..., felt it most today on my second day, but after 2 hours the effects go away, i got 56 days worth so your doc should of given you 56 days worth, if it doesn't clear up entirely you might be able to get another 2 weeks worth, depends on the doctor though, it's quite slow acting and takes time so there is no way it would go away in 28 days, takes 56 - 84 days because the pills also repair your nails and help them grow new nails, so you have to be paitent.
Bad side effects are very rare so i wouldn't worry, take them after your main meal when your body is at it's strongest, that's what i'm doing to avoid the effects as much as possible, i wouldn't take them on an empty stomach, wait an hour and a half after your main meal to let your food digest a bit so the pill digests properly.
Wow! 84 days, how do people get to take them for so long? i read your not meant to take them for any more than 6 - 8 weeks and i just got some for 8 weeks worth too and my doc said your not meant to take them any more than 6 - 8 weeks at a time ether because the fungus will adapt to them and stop working, not good for the body ether to take them for such a huge amount of time. My tow nails are worse especially on my left foot, it was athletes foot that turned into a toenail fungus.
Today first day taking them and it does give me a bit of a dull headache a couple hours after taking them but i rubbed my head and it went away and slight clumsyness and loss of concentration and i feel a tiny bit wishy washy, so hopefully that doesn't get worse, i'm going to keep soaking my feet in hot soapy water as you would do to help with the rash i have on the tops, bottom and sides of my feet and to keep the skin clean and conditioned, hopefully it works because perceiptions are £8.20 each now and i can barely afford it right now... i take them after my main meal because it's when the body is at it's strongest, want to avoid any after effects, i've still got a bit of athletes foot stuff left so i think i will rub that on the rash on the tops and sides of my feet.
+Eddie Ford Well, its been 4 months and most of the thinning hair came back thicker, but, were the hair that fell out it came back very sparse. I read that it can take up to 10 mo to fully grow back.......hope this helps...later.
I have a question, were you worried about the serious side effects? Did you have a Doctor run blood tests first to see if your liver can handle the dose? And lastly did you experience any bad side effects? please respond back at your earliest convenience? Thanks
Hello Mark, I'm not the person that posted the video, but I did took Lamisil 250 mg. It was a 3 month treatment and it was totally worth it! At first, when the doctor told me that there is a chance of damage to the liver I was s little hesitant to get the treatment, he ordered a liver function test before even prescribing and his plan was to order a second liver screening at the end of the treatment but I asked him if it was possible to get an extra test done half way the treatment and luckily everything came out good. I did not experienced any side effects at all and hopefully will be your case. if I ever have to do it again, I wouldn't even think about it twice! Go for it! Like I said, totally worth it!
To anyone taking lamisil i have some advises..... 1st take the pill after breakfast so you can kind of have a regular schedule for it, it will bi the best option. 2nd drink it with a lot of water so you avoid damaging your stomach...3rd try to avoid alcohol as much as possible if not all of it...i mean three months will go fast and it will be worth the wait :) ....regards!
+David Nash They do taste horrible so if you ever need to take them again drink them down in 1 with water, buy a couple packets of extra strong mints or airewaves chewing gum and eat a couple through out the day and make sure to brush your teeth, brushing your teeth also takes away the icly taste, you do get a bit of a headache and feel icky because in a way it's flushing your system out as well as your skin of bacteria and fungus, it's a good pill because any yeast infections you may have that you don't even know of it flushes that out too (and most people don't, it's said that all humans live with some sort of minor fungus in their bodies through out their lives), so it's a nice little flush out of the body, so it's bound to make you feel a bit icky.
I'm so glad!!. Quick story, for many years I lived with this gross infection I mean it was BAD! "(
embarrassed to show my feet to anyone so I decided to do something about it, I heard of lamisil but said no to it at the time cause I read of the side effects and potential liver damage it can cause, so I did the laser treatment instead, and what happened! ?, Nothing! . "(
Still five months after laser treatment nails looked the same, so I went to back and Dr said Lamisil works best for this type of infection, so as concerned as I was about potential side effects I went for it, liver test first before taking Rx, test came back good so here I go!.
3 weeks in I saw something different in my toe nail on the Halfmoon part.
7 weeks in there's a healthy toe nail growing out! :) :) ")
I still have a long way to go but now I see a LIGHT at the end.
Oh ! And no side effects! ")
another thing i found out about is you can get these drops for your toenails that's for toenail fungus, apparently a lot of people in my family get it, my mum did along with sweat rashing under the belly and in the belly button (which i also have), my grandad had toenail fungus too and he had these anti-fungal drops, try to get your doc to give them you, my nails are still bad because i stopped taking terbinafin after 12 days, started waking up not able to breath, winded and pain in my lower back and sides... i wouldn't reccomend them at all since they higher your kidneys levels... probs why i woke up like that... was super painful and scary, never again... i have heard of peoples hair falling out too, just another drug that shouldn't be given to humans...
+Suna no chan When it gets to the toenail fungus stage creams will definitely not work, i tried cream from the doc and cream from a shop too, nothing... except it kind of heals the rash i got but soon as i stop it returns, creams are for minor athletes foot but if the athletes foot quickly turns into a toenail fungus like it happened with me then creams just aren't going to cut it for sure, i hate we have to prove to the docs that the creams don't work first though, bit of a waste of money... terbinafine aka Lamisil should work, does for most people, although some people can't get rid of it.
The people it tervinafine didn't work for they suggested tea tree oil and vix vapour rub, caution on the vix though... it makes your feet kind of raw but it works, you rub it all over the affected areas including on your nails, some docs also suggest using the vix with the terbinafine to help it alone, make sure to keep washing your feet in hot soapy water, i read that another person suggested using anti-dandruff shampoo so id try that in the hot water, i soak my feet for 10 - 30 mins (depending what i can be bothered with lol), just make sure the water is quite hot, id suggest soaking your feet for 30 mins.
I've been on Lamisil for almost 3 months and I see a significant change, brown color is diminishing and new nail is growing out , I have a long way to go but a big improvement from when I started.
How is it coming along for you? .
Man your lucky.. I took lamisil orally by doctor to kill atheles foot. Sadly, my right foot, the pinky toenail is fat and fungy.. looks ugly but the rest of my feet look normal.. i suppose it was a after effect when the fungus died .. but seeing it fat like that and not growing healthy again really sucks (and embarrassing)
hey guys , i'm going to start taking lamisil ( still not sure , when i read about it's side effects, it really scared me , seriously ! ) so i'm waiting for my test again ... but that was a nice video specially last part ... i was about to give up ... this shit is killing me about 10 months !!!
I agree! I tried a topical for months and didnt notice anything but did have pain when I wore shoes for a long period of time. Im still very upset and self conscious since summer is fast approaching for me(Cali) and I still dont feel comfortable in anything but a tennis shoe! Sucks!
I have been for the last month and a half.....just got my next round of blood work..calling my PMD tomorrow..make sure LFT's are still good and he will call in another refill. Not really noticing anything just yet...havent had any side effects at all. They are looking to get some color back and not looking so dark, so we'll see about another round and what happens
Are you going to take the Terbinafine? Ive been on it for almost 2 months now and so far the only side effects are head aches and some dark pee...other then that...toe nails are looking much better. Half my toe nail looks healthy and the top of the toe nail still looks jacked up! Its like the medication is pushing out the fungus.. Good luck to you!
Well heck, your toe nails arent so bad to begin with...Ive seen some that are really jacked up! I started my treatment 2 months ago and my toe nails are looking much better...my large toes looked like hamburger compared to yours now half the toe nail is healthy...the other half is still ugly...looks like the terbinafine is pushing the fungus out...Looking forward to going back to martial arts again! Yeah buddy!
I was also afraid to take it. Bottle sat in my medicine cabinet for a month before I started using it. But the pain and discomfort was too much so I broke down and started. I've been using it since March 12. So far, no side effects other than a couple of headaches. I take it at night with food and I drink lots of water throughout the day. I don't drink alcohol. I noticed a difference in my nails the first week. Even the night pains have subsided a LOT! Wish I'd started sooner but, oh well
The class of drugs that Levitra, Viagra, Stendra, and Cialis belong to are called PDE5 inhibitors. They work by relaxing tight blood vessels, allowing more blood to surge into the penis and cause an erection, says Gregory Bales, M.D., an associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago.
The little pills do the trick for more than two-thirds of men with Viagra protects the heart (ED). They also work for guys who simply need them for a short time to get their “confidence back,” says Michael Eisenberg, M.D., director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at Stanford University.
