NASA Unveils Incredible Design for Warp Drive Spacecraft

NASA scientist Harold White has spent a long time examining the plausibility of a space ship that can travel faster than light, and now he's taken his research to the next level. With the help of artist Mark Rademaker, White has made a design of what such a vessel would look like. The warp drive vehicle is called the IXS Enterprise and does bear more than a casual resemblance to its Star Trek namesake. Of course, nobody is quite sure if making a warp bubble is actually possible, but NASA is investigating the matter via ongoing experiments. It has been determined that previous concerns about a warp drive annihilating a star system are unfounded. Researchers are still unclear about the consequences of faster-than-light ships coming into close contact with other vessels, however. Those matters aside, if warp speed travel ever does become more than the stuff of science fiction it could put the entire solar system at the world's fingertips.

If they do manage to achieve ftl travel, America be like ok let's use this tech to rid the universe of weapons of mass distraction and fight the aliens who threaten our way of life from the other side of the universe who haven't yet invented the wheel. Then we will free the rest from alien taliban and al qaeda and isis. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

I HAVE BEEN DOING RESEARCH WITH NASA INTO FASTER THAN LIGHT SPEED DRIVESYSTEMS AND I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT CONVENTIONAL ROCKETS WILL DO THE JOB. FASTER THAN LIGHT TRAVEL IS NOT COMPLEX AND WE ALSO HAVE DISCOVERED THE POSSIBILITY THAT A BARRIER MIGHT EXIST WHEN MOVING FASTER THAT 3 MILLION MPH IN SPACE. THIS BARRIER IS CALLED THE MASS TIME INERTIA BARRIER AND CAN CATAPULT A SPACECRAFT TO SPEEDS BEYOND THE SPEED OF LIGHT IN RELATION TO THE INITIAL VELOCITY OF THE CRAFT BY THE ALTERING OF TH 3RD DIMENSIONAL PRESSURES CREATED BY THE INITIAL VELOCITIES OF THE CRAFT. THE 3RD DIMENSION BENDS AROUND THE CRAFT PRODUCING MOTION AND WHEN THE VELOCITY IS SUFFICIENT TO CAUSE A WARP IN THE 3RD DIMENSION THE 3RD DIMENSION BENDS AROUND TO THE REAR OF THE CRAFT AND TRYS TO CATCH UP TO IT AND FORCES THE CRAFT TO ENORMOUS VELOCITIES WHEN IT IS UNABLE TO GET IN FRONT OF THE CRAFT DUE TO THE CRAFT MOVING BEYOND THE SPEED OF THE EMANATION OF THE DIMENSION ITSELF. NEWTON TALKED ABOUT THIS EFFECT THE 3RD DIMENSION HAS AND THAT MOTION, IN EFFECT, IS A PRODUCT OF THE BENDING OF THE DIMENSION WHILE IN A VELOCITY. MY EXPERIMENTS SHOW THAT 2500 TIMES THE SPEED OF LIGHT MAY BE POSSIBLE TODAY. THE BARRIER IS THE VARIENT IN THE EQ'S AND COULD BE AS MUCH AS 100 MILLION MPH BUT THE 3RD DIMENSION SHOULD NOT EMANATE AT THOSE SPEEDS AND 3 MILLION IS MORE REALISTIC AT THIS POINT IN THE RESEARCH. WE SO FAR HAVE NO EXAMPLES OF ANYTHING MOVING BEYOND 100,000 MPH SO FAR INDICATING THAT THE PRESSURE OF THE 3RD DIMENSION LIMITS THE AMBIENT VELOCITIES OF OBJECTS IN MOTION IN SPACE. THIS IS SECRET RESEARCH HOWEVER NOT CLASSIFIED AT THIS TIME.

NASA scientist HAROLD WHITE has taken the challenge in continuing his research work of Wrap Drive Project and could do the same . But only problem is NEGATIVE ENERGY . Nobody knows any reality of negative energy . So far as i know , one physicist has taken the proof of identifying NEGATIVE ENERGY in his lab . Another problem i don't know exactly whether we've to break physics law or not in case of materializing negative energy , although by applying EINSTEIN's GENERAL THEORY of RELATIVITY we've the provision to go for time travel through wrap drive enforcing negative energy involving in warm hole for smooth space exist 10 times faster than light space travel , just to think leave and arrive at the same time -- quite unthinkable but incoming reality . Last but not the least , we've to pay attention to time dilation may be a factor of longer distance to be shoter through wrap bubbles

extrastellar life can be approched with a stuff exceeding light speed and still nothing was discoveted to move faster like light or more than that. Ideas are available yet it is difficult to convert ideas in real shapes. I think jet propulsion can be befitting in this aspect. As we know every propulsion boost the rocket and there is a need of beating more and more propulsion to boost it and reach a velocity more than light.
Mark Fudge (1 year ago)
Warp drives are not faster than light, in fact they do not move the ship. If they are possible they will move the space from in front of the ship to behind it. Only the expansion of space itself can move faster than light.

Thank goodness you can draw anything...but that doesn't mean we could ever infect the rest of the universe with the disease that is life
Al Catraz (1 year ago)
I wouldn't be too concerned. Over the past 13 or so billion years, the universe may have hosted billions of technological species throughout the 10^11 visible galaxies, the era of technology of each species passing away with the demise of each perhaps within tens or hundreds of millennia - momentary sparks of awareness, barely blinks of the cosmic eye. Possibly (I think) there are many of such currently extant, maybe experiencing existence much as we do, asking the same questions: Where am I? What am I? How? Why? But evidence seems to suggest that, in the grand scheme of things, their material effects are as close to zero as makes no difference. Spirituality is another question and, I suspect, far more significant.

What if the "Technorati" could take your "mind" and transfer it to a "device"? Say this (device, machine, computer ...whatever) is only partially able to give you the sensation of being human or perhaps heightened sensation in some aspects and maybe less so in other areas. With this you get to endure for an indefinite lifespan with upgrades as we go into the future. Would you do it? I say this because we as a race of humans could, and likely will, see a day when warp speed is accomplished, but it may take another 1000 years.

To everyone asking about the space debris, I believe that it wouldn't matter (pun intended). A warp drive works by contracting and expanding spacetime AROUND a bubble. Think of a air bubble in water. Now add some food coloring to the water. Now place an air bubble below the spot of food coloring. The food coloring would go around the air pocket as it moves through the water, just like the air goes around your car when you are going down the highway. The cars body is the boundary of the warped space, so to speak. You have to remember that when you travel using a warp drive, you are contracting and expanding spacetime, or better known as warping, it AROUND the ship. The ship is in its own bubble of spacetime and space debris will just be warped around it.
ItsFullofSTARs (6 months ago)
Damn, you do realize E does not equal M times E squared. 'Matter has no energy except what it receives from it surroundings. Therefore the deflection of your stupid space-time horseshit can't occur. Meaning, the settlement of matter and energy are TOTALLY separate. Bumps everywhere.
Dan O'Brien (2 years ago)
Ya know...... you actually have to discover warp drive first, right?
Steven Mactavish (2 years ago)
They're trying to develop some sort of magnetic drive which would be similar I think
+john underwood not a centrifugal but an appendicular rotational space, a center based adjacent and within the craft would not provide the sustainable amount of momentum to physically make objects gravitate towards its walls, it is simpler to utilize weight and distance to maximize the amount of momentum created. It's the same concept as moving your hand, for you hand will always travel faster than your shoulder.
Interesting concept, not acceleration but moreover remaining stationary and manipulating the fabric of space around the craft...... Yeah where is Te math on this again?

The problem with Warp speed ships isn't if we can get them to go fast enough. The problem is, if we get a manned ship to go fast enough and it goes at warp speed what effect does it have on the crew. Think about it this was a fighter pilot foes fast and they are specially trained to be able to handle the effects of going fast. Like Nasa space crew when they go up into space. But warp travel is faster than anything that has previously achieved and as far as I know their is no training for people to go that fast and their bodies able to handle it.
gaminglabrador5 (2 years ago)
+Gordon Hotchkiss Well the way i understand it is that it will have basically no effect, because space will be moving, not them. A human wouldn't survive that speed if it was them moving inside space that fast.

Have you ever put water in a bucket and spun it in a circle? Have been to an amusement park and felt the forces some of the rides exert when they sin? It is related to the same force you feel when you accelerate from a stop light. When you spin a wheel it tends to throw objects from it's center. You can't be thrown from center if you have something to stand on.

You take the term warp drive theory and dump the term in the abyss. The correct term for the physical motion of the craft should be ( controlled gravitational motion vessel ) energy produced from the engine propels the craft through the vacuum of space and atmosphere of planets including exosphere and liquid atmosphere because the energy produced by the engine is sufficient to defy attraction and expulsion forces of gravity. The only way to stop the ship is recreate a powerful gravity that immediately locks the position of the vessel in a neutral or no motion position. It's basic x y z and zero mathematics. It's a quantum leap in technology I don't even know if it's viable at this stage as the cost would be beyond the natural budget that nasa may think is fair. I have heard stories about nasa having extra duties off site from their typical role. I know the technology is completely possible I just don't know who's brain it's come from and why we are trying to develop energy systems that consume so much energy. The engine itself would be a super conductor of particle energy. The computer systems of the craft would have to calculate for the vessels flight path should it encounter celestial bodies that interfere with its natural motion and adjust to safely avoid an explosion that would have atomic blast power. May even exceed nuclear blast power I am unsure. It's a radical step towards celestial travel when in reality we still power our personal vessels ( automobiles ) with common elements or fossil fuels. We only need a vessel that can safely take us to and fro planets in our solar system should we like to study and mine there. Don't need the U.s.s enterprise. Just need a logical transportation device. Humble steps.
