Local produce helps the local economy to grow and the body is used to such kind of food naturally. I still don't understand what is the relation between the food produce coming from the long distance and climate change? How does avacado coming from Mexico or quinoa coming from Peru affect the climate negatively?

I am surprised at the negative comments. She is talking common sense and reminding us that there is a reason why native/ local foods are better and cheaper instead of following the West blindly and eating foods not grown in our environment. Wish she would list the research she quotes in her talks so that the public can go to the original source of the claims she makes.
