There are many things that can lead to heart attack and cardiovascular disease. In this interview from 2009, Andreas Moritz discusses some of the main, but lesser known causes of potentially deadly conditions.
“I had triple bypass surgery in February of 1985, and over the years, each of these grafts closed up. Finally, in August of 1997 the largest graft closed and I suffered a heart attack. After recovery I returned to work, but by March 1998, I was placed on disability from work. I was no longer able to do much—no flying, skiing, running or strenuous anything and was told to stay below 2,000 feet in altitude. As the months passed my angina increased to the point I was having pain going up and down my stairs at home. On January 4, 2000 an angiogram was performed and it was determined that I should undergo a quadruple heart bypass. Surgery was scheduled for March 8, 2000.i went for the surgrey to no avail,i went for the second one which i failed , i gave up beliving i will die.

Listen carefully to all of the YouTube heart health videos you can... and you will conclude that there is no agreement among the "experts." It makes sense to avoid stress, get plenty of exercise and eat fresh fruits and vegetables. But beyond that, fire your cardiologist and do whatever you please. The "Health Care Industry" is out to make money prescribing useless medication and needless dangerous surgical procedures. Most likely this will not extend you life, but it will help your cardiologist to make that $500 K per year to meet his boat payment.

If you live with stress, at least get enough dark green leafy veggies, to get enough magnesium, to help your muscles relax, and prevent strokes/heart attacks from that. Make sure you get sea veggies/kelps, to help get trace minerals.

I believe that vegetable foods are better for me. My question to myself is: why do I keep on eating animal sourced foods? Cheese and eggs are so very convenient and quick to consume. I suspect what influences one's diet is the local market availability to type of food. Or is it just cultural?

You unfortunately can not irradiate stress, it will always be part of life and went we are fit and health we deal with it effectively.
It's as simple as eat from the 4 basic food groups beans, grains, vegetables and fruit. Walk for 30minites a day. You will arrest and reverse atherosclerosis.
Now we can say surround yourself with love and meditate and take prozac and sleep more and and and it ends up being a complicated thing. Everything start with diet.

Time is a big factor: one needs time to find good food (also good nutritional info) and prepare it and eventually eat and digest it :)

He is right...stick to a vegetarian diet (not vegan), walk regularly and practice mediation, then you can forget all about your heart problems. Meditation really helps because with practice you can easily regulate your heart rate, blood pressure, insulin ratio and anxiety.

Dairy is infact a bigger risk factor than meat. Apart from being high in fat it contains large amounts of protien and calcium. You will need to think for yourself. Look at yourself and consider biologically what kind of animal you are. I am a great ape and if I eat simular to a great ape I will be healthy. Chimps are 99% plant based, add no oil to their diets and eat meat (bugs and smaller me monkeys) very rarely. We are ill equipped for eating meat.

It appears that we all need to chill out and do things like meditate, breathe deep, watch a lot of funny movies and stand up comedians, not take ourselves so seriously and do whatever is necessary to contribute more peace and joy into our lives in order to keep our heart strong. I had heard that many people died on Mondays from heart attacks a long while ago and I guess those folks were dissatisfied and stressed at their jobs. Follow your bliss.
