i have looked at your video and i am really confused,
you said that the variable region is where the antigen binds and the variable regions are always the same, so do you mean that the different immunoglobulins e.g. IgG,IgA,IgD etc all have the same variable region but each have a different constant region due to different heavy chains. i
Variable regions are variable for antigens and there are millions of idiotypes for variable regions. Heavy chains are only a few types. So the immunoglobulin nomenclature is primarily based on variations of the heavy chains.
Not sure if it is explained in the next video but TCR is consists of one heavy and one light (but you drawn it as 2 light) and the beta chain is similar to Ig heavy chain and alpha chain is similar to Ig light chain
You are right, the heavy chains should be placed in the interior of the light chains. Just a little detail, it doesn't really ruin the lecture or makes the explanation less efficient. Thank you Dr. Syed, you were very clear!

Thank you for your note. All nucleated cells express MHC 1 this includes T and B cells. Otherwise these two cell types will become prone to viral attacks without possibility of infection control by immune system.

I am only left with this one question to which i cannot find an definitive answer. Doe B and T cells als display MHC-I complexes in case they become ill?
some scources say B cells have no MHC-1 while other say they do. Same about T cells. This made me confused.
