Turmeric has been said to be able to cure and alleviate many chronic diseases, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes etc however just how effective is it? Can our bodies really absorb and utilize the key compounds including curcumin? Is there anything we can do to make turmeric work and be more effective in our bodies? Keep listening as I answer these questions........

I believe a low fat raw food vegan diet is optimal for humans however a low fat plant based diet is still a wonderful way to start improving your health, lose weight, cure diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, cancer, IBS &Crohns, migraines, etc!

I have had terrible pain in my lower right abdominal quadrant for years, it had me so that I would not be able to stand up straight, that is, until my doctor recommended turmeric. I now take it four times a day, and I also include it in my meals, and if I stop this practice, the pain comes back, although not as severe as four years ago. I now can live a normal life, except that I have to take turmeric everyday, but for me, it is worth it, it is the only remedy that works for me, and it works powerfully. I go to the local Indian store, where it is so cheap, and so fresh, I will go through a five pound bag in about five to six months, but there has been no deleterious effects, only freedom from pain for me.
i've had post nasal drip the last year or so. especially in the evening as i'm trying to relax. all evening trying to hawk up mucus to no avail. also developed a cough from the mucus that did drain. after about a week, of golden milk, i'd say it has reduced to about 75%.
NO NO NO!!!! Turmeric does work because I was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney disease and this herb help me stabilize my kidneys better along with changing my diet. When my doctor ask me what I was doing I did not tell him because that's what they want you to do is spend money for big Pharma.
My research indicates turmeric alone does not absorb well in bodies. Bioperine and a fat
like Black seed oil helps to absorb. Not a good title since they then tell you how to absorb it. Also liposomal turmeric is looking good for absorption.
Turmeric is amazing for a multitude of things. Antimicrobial, antifungal, cancer fighting. To assist absorbtion add black pepper, fatty oil, honey. It can be used for tooth paste, deodordant, pain cream, washing clothes. Never purchase pre ground. Purchase the root, dry and grind yourself. Only organic/non gmo. Is great in ear drops for dogs to fight mites and such. Amazing (Edit) *rhyzome* . you can plant a nice rhyzome or root in a large planter or outdoors and watch it grow. Cultivate your own at home. Can do this technique with Ginger root as well.
🤦🏾♂️ pepper pot dishes in the Caribbean and India are consumed regularly with turmeric and coconut 🌴 (ii’m sure many other places too) …as you can see holistic “whole health” works best… western medicine are very quick to sell you a pill or an isolated ingredient which is usually so concentrated and unnatural that it has many unpleasant and unwanted side effects. However, if you eat natural, your food 🥘 becomes your medicine. Your ultimate medicine cabinet is the garden.
I drink turmeric, ginger, milk, water, honey, cloves and cinamon and sugar and helps me to stay with energy and helps me to stay in shape, with exercise of course........The best healing drink in the world from nature😀👍🌱🌿🌳🌲🌴🌞
I have quite severe Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands and ankles, Found that I have a serious allergy to NSAID'S so there had to be an alternative .... I have acupuncture, which helps, lemon juice every day, don't drink alcohol or smoke.... I found that the Turmeric capsules and powders really didn't help a lot .... but then .... I started eating raw Turmeric, not peeled or grated , but a piece about the size of an Acorn, with 4 or 5 Black Peppercorns, just chew it up and swallow, and the benefits have been really noticeable in just over 10 days. It doesn't taste too bad, bit earthy and very peppery , but just swoosh it down with water !
What can I say, if Turmeric has other health benefits, then happy days. It takes no effort, costs very little and it works for me.
Thanks for posting !
I use termeric, black pepper, garlic and red chile powder in avacado guacamole.
Eating this with a meal of beans, rice and meat GREATLY reduces my pain from spinal damage and the associated neurological deficits.
Fresh turmeric bypasses the absorption problem because of the natural oils. I just peel the sprouting roots and eat them raw, cheaper than supplements. Black pepper and fat are only needed for the dried powder.
Just read on my "Food to Live" turmeric container "This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm". No list of "chemicals" to check. Apparently one of the turmeric powders full of fillers.
^^^ and this is precisely why you take liposomal curcumin, eliminates the bio-availability issue and helps actually increase serum concentration and stability in blood circulation. Dietary curcumin barely reaches detectable levels in serum. Which is why most in vivo trials do not live up to the promise of the in vitro findings.
And most of these so-called doctors are actually chiropractors trying to sell a book or sell their supplements.. I know a crap tractor is a doctor but he's a doctor of Cryer practor with barely any knowledge of minerals and herbs
I think I have to agree with this video I consume a lot of black pepper and I'm changing my diet include more avocados.. I take the tumeric supplements and I have pull them apart and put them on food but my God I sweat like a whore in church lol
Indians have been using these spices in their foods since few thousand years.; wow ! Many of the Indians have been pure vegetarians since thousands of years.; But I think they lack proteins in the diet compared to western diet. Hence they dont look very mascular.
The class of drugs that Levitra, Viagra, Stendra, and Cialis belong to are called PDE5 inhibitors. They work by relaxing tight blood vessels, allowing more blood to surge into the penis and cause an erection, says Gregory Bales, M.D., an associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago.
The little pills do the trick for more than two-thirds of men with Viagra protects the heart (ED). They also work for guys who simply need them for a short time to get their “confidence back,” says Michael Eisenberg, M.D., director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at Stanford University.
