When you eat the whole food remember that nature and the human body knows how to breakdown and siphon off the benefits and absorbed into the body. Taking beet powder/or man made nitrates might be dangerous for consumption is not taken as a whole food. The human body is a genius machine that we still know so little about as to breakdown and absorption so to be safe by eating whole foods one never has to be worried about what this so called biologist promotes here. Doubt he a biologist at all.

Wow your dumb nitrates can't turn into nitrites not how science works you cant deoxidize a single oxygen molecule, and btw bacteria turn nitrite into nitrate, stop fooling people for views, like wtf the only way to turn vegetable and fruit to nitrate is by putting in aerobic water, and wait 3 weeks for all of it to be turned into ammonia, later it will turn into nitrite,then multiple weeks later it turns into nitrate you can't turn nitrate into nitrite, ever it's absolutely impossible it breaks laws of biology, (Darwin's 4th law and freddericks 3rd law)
