Hank gets all up in your face about kissing -- where does it come from, why do it we do it, and do other animals do it? From ancient India to that date you were on last night (which we won't tell anyone about if you won't), we explore the history of snogging and its role in human evolution.

if you like the natural smell of someone/partner that means that you have the opposite immune system. Wait... its nothing bad! Its actually a great thing! That means that if you have a baby, the baby will have a stronger immune system.
Count me in the evolutionary camp. The testosterone passing and pheromone selecting are two more reasons to believe it's nature and not learned. The cultures who don't do it are probably either lying, or going against nature.
Woah... India!?? Really?? ...and we here don't even get to date whom we want...most of the time it's arranged marriages here in India 🇮🇳...the irony....but then again no wonder we are the 2nd most populated country in the world...hmmmm.....
Okay so my background is european (more specifically portuguese) the thing is, i was raised mostly in Canada. Here kissing is thought to be more of a romantic thing not a friendly kind of thing. But in Portugal if you see family friends or family you have to kiss them on both cheeks. I normally just kinda touch cheeks cuz im awkward but with older people like grandparents, great aunts and uncles and very old cousins it ends up being a huge kiss on both cheeks. Now my favourite part of this is how one of my mothers good friends has a few kids one is the same age and after a while of flirting i definatly dont mind having to kiss him on the cheeks every now and again. Although a huge problem with the cheek kissing is it differs in each country. Like if a portuguese person sees their italian friend they might end up kissing on the lips becuase if i remember correctly portuguese kisses go left to right and italians go right to left. You can guess what happens most times.
Kissing on lips was a family/social thing in ancient India. People kiss and kissed by their parents/siblings/friends on lips. Kiss was never associated with sex in Sanskrit literature rather it was just a gentle greeting. People ruined it's cultural value by sexualizing it.
I love this channel. there's no distracting music or loud colours and crazy fast annoying editing sound effects so I can really take it in well the facts he's saying. also his delivery and composure is very good enthusiastic, interesting and entertaining, pretty funny too :) . love thus channel unlike buzzfeed and craze tv etc it delivers well
side note - I'm going on a cinema date today and now feel really weird about kissing, pheromones and being a female animal xD
other side note am I the only one who thinks it's kind of adorable and beautiful that it likely originated from mothers passing food to their offspring. I mean the foods gone now but that's such a tender reason for it :)
How you know you’re asexual:
you’d rather learn the science and history behind kissing than doing it
I’ve kissed a lot of people of both genders and never have I enjoyed it. Only do it cause I enjoy making whoever I’m with feel good, tbh.
The class of drugs that Levitra, Viagra, Stendra, and Cialis belong to are called PDE5 inhibitors. They work by relaxing tight blood vessels, allowing more blood to surge into the penis and cause an erection, says Gregory Bales, M.D., an associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago.
The little pills do the trick for more than two-thirds of men with Viagra protects the heart (ED). They also work for guys who simply need them for a short time to get their “confidence back,” says Michael Eisenberg, M.D., director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at Stanford University.
