This video highlights Dr. Meschino discussing the anti-inflammatory effects of 4 proven natural agents that can effectively manage the swelling, pain and stiffness of many chronic rheumatoid and autoimmune diseases, as well as tendonitis, bursitis and the inflammation associated with fascitis and disc herniation. These 4 naturally-occurring herbs are curcumin, boswellia, white willow bark extract and ginger (standardized grated ginger). Together these nutrients work like aspirin or ibuprofen - however, without all the negative side effects such as bleeding disorders, kidney toxicity, stomach irritation, intestinal bleeding and the like. The point of this video is not completely stop you from taking these medications, but to lower your dependency on these medications if you have any type of joint inflammatory disease.

I'm using something called Anxiety Relief by Naturalcare, a homeopathic remedy, and it keeps my anxiety in check. also keeps my husband from getting so angry over little bothers. I also am taking the willow bark and tumeric, but on bad days those Salon Pas patches really work on pain spots, even headaches.
A big part of reducing inflammation is also AVOIDING things that causes it. For me some of the things that increase inflammation are: excessive repetitive strain, aged cheeses, eating red meats too often, eating too much junk oils (trans/omega 6), not eating enough omega 3, too many carbs.
Eating fatty fish has to be the best thing I have tried in reducing inflammation...sardines, herring, salmon, mackeral.

There is another herb that really helps with the pain and the depression that comes from RA and that herb is Cannabis!

The little pills do the trick for more than two-thirds of men with Viagra protects the heart (ED). They also work for guys who simply need them for a short time to get their “confidence back,” says Michael Eisenberg, M.D., director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at Stanford University.
