Hi Dr. M my mom is 83 yrs. old she can not have more then 2 1/2 to 3 litres of water & liquid a day. & she has to cut out salt. Beside that she had to take lots of medications morning & at night. Her water intake is limited. How much water can she drink when waking up & 30 mins before meals so how can she do this can u plssssssssssssss get back to me thanks so much

Going on my own experience this video is a fact .No more cramping in bed,because I stopped drinking fizzy,and still bottled,and canned juice . I drink water now.And my body loves me back 😃

Want to know more about water and how the lack of just plain normal water in your diet causes sooooooooooooooo many problems, well listen to this Doctor -> https://youtu.be/8xweziIaUMo the watercure. And yup Dr Mandell is right, drink 2 glasses once you awake, do not even brush your teeth first bcos you don't want to introduce fluoride and chloride 1st thing in the morning after 8hrs of sleeping. Drink 1 glass before every meal, 1 before a bath and always drink 1 glass before bed. Spread all this over the day till you get 10-12 glasses per day. Do it for a week and you'll notice how much difference it makes and it is actually the energy booster and craving/hunger depressor cos your body is actually craving for water sometimes and not really hungry when it isn't your meal time. The rule of thumb is to drink a glass or two of water if you feel hungry and wait for 10-15mins, and if you still feel hungry then go for food. If not, you are just needing water. Why I say water is actually energy, think of your science experiment that involves igniting hydrogen gas in a test tube mixed with air. The hydrogen explodes am I right? That is how much energy it has. Now water is H2O which is 2 parts hydrogen but with the Oxygen molecule it is made to be a stable state that is liquid water. So that hydrogen in water really gives you energy. Dun believe, try when you wake up and just feeling groggy and gulp down 2 glasses of just plain good water. Watch how you becomes awake from it. Go try.

I always questioned why Asian restaurants provide tea or hot water prior to a meal. I have many stomach problems due to anxiety. I drink hot water both at night and in the morning and regular room temp throughout the day. I’ve noticed I can breathe better and my stomach doesn’t hurt as badly!

Great info, but talking about increasing water is always a problem with older people who have to go to the bathroom very often. And they will not increase their water if their bladder problems are not fixed

Hi Dr Mandell, I had many fillings in my teeth and what baffles me is that I don't eat much sweets. Two dentist could not tell me what is the root cause but then I read somewhere that it is due to dehydration in the mouth ie the mouth is dry. I have mixed readings of articles written that one does not require the 8 glasses of water as food intake naturally turns to water/liquid in the body. The one you mentioned of cramps in fact, I have been drinking water and now after what you said, made me realise that I did not have cramps esp when I am stretching out in bed. Thank you, you have made me realise that! Thank you again for another helpful information. Please do keep them coming and look forward to them..
