This Guy will be successful, . People will say " You're Crazy "," it's never gonna work " , " it's a bad decision ". But if you really love what you want to do, others opinion won't matter to you. Doubt kills more dreams then failure ever will. So don't doubt this guy. End of...
He’s selling a device which re-seals wine bottles to keep the fizz , has no sales and only a prototype, yet values the ‘ business’ at £4 million ...
Don’t these folk pitching not get their business acumen or ideas vetted before going on the show?
My god almighty is that man for real? At the very least he should have made sure his 90% investor was present instead of standing their effectively with his thumb up his ass. Surely the investor could have rearranged his holiday for something as important as this.
I love how some of these investers think the dragons aren't listening or keeping up with their sales pitches. They're so used to bullshitting investors that they forget their product and business models are wank.
No sales aside, this was actually a decent product with a similar revenue system to that of stream just for pubs and bars with their bubbly. Sadly he came across totally wrong and asked for too much money for a small percentage. If he has asked for £80,000 for 20% and gone look guys we've done all this work and just need a final push to get it into production... We give the system away for free and make on going revenue from the cartridge sales... instead he was just rude.
Does anyone want to invest in me? I have a ticket pending a win on the Euro lottery. What a muppet. U cannot value a start up business on the strength of future possibilites. That is one rude, arrogant, egotistical man who lives in cloud cuckoo land. He seems unable to answer a straight question with a straight answer.
Edited out. He'd 'invented' a repressuring system for wine bottles that both already exists on a tiny scale in the high end market AND they sell vacuumpumps for bottles for € 1-2 in every supermarket.
So the product didn't solve a problem, he's lost control of his company and he doesn't have any sales. That's three out of the five major killers of companies already present.
Haven't watched this for about five years. Now I remember why I quit while I was ahead. The show was becoming shit even then. But this thing, with its supertight close ups, inept crash zooms, and fake drama, is straighforwardly naff BBC bollocks.
ludocrat: BBC bollocks is a whole study in itself. Stupid, uninformed, wasteful, useless, patronising uninformed...oh I said that. Cut them off and their funding. Just rubbish. Stop watching. do not pay your licence and one day they will die...hopefully.
Where's the actual pitch? What's the point in showing a highlight that even totally excludes the bloody product? Awful editing choice. I'm out. Indeed I've been out for 6 years - that's when I stopped watching TV. And I never had a TV licence ;)) Why? Because if that dragon thinks he's insulting, the BBC propaganda service is far more so.
The class of drugs that Levitra, Viagra, Stendra, and Cialis belong to are called PDE5 inhibitors. They work by relaxing tight blood vessels, allowing more blood to surge into the penis and cause an erection, says Gregory Bales, M.D., an associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago.
The little pills do the trick for more than two-thirds of men with Viagra protects the heart (ED). They also work for guys who simply need them for a short time to get their “confidence back,” says Michael Eisenberg, M.D., director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at Stanford University.
