No wonder I love Wendy’s

I don't trust the source, Friends of the Earth. Sounds like a leftist "science" organization that reaches dubious conclusions based on their agenda rather than real science, which is typical of the left. Having said that, I don't eat fast food anyway.

Humans: Wait until an illness is too intractable to fight off without artificial aid. Corporation: Just Pump ALL animals full of the strongest cheapest strand of antibiotics _encase_ they get ill, for Profit Rigidity. It doesn't take half a brain to establish that this is a risky practice that wouldn't happen in a self-symbiotic society. It has been scientifically proven that over-exposure to drugs builds up a resistance to them. Science does not speak to win approval. It is concerned only with the facts. It does not lie. This is why The Venus Project is a valid alternative to destroying ourselves. No money, No Government, No War, poverty, hunger, greed; these are behavioural variants which can be averted by changing the environment & society we grow up in. For more information, Google The Venus Project. For all other comments that state "It would never work", I'm not interested in opinions from those who haven't studied, tried & tested such a proposal yet. 120 years ago, people were making similar opinions about landing on the moon or sending probes to other planets. "Ah it'll never happen". That is just an opinion. Not a proven fact. Thank you.

MISTAKE IN YOUR VIDEO: Chipotle got a "B"...what is the other "A" restaurant in the box with Panera?

Wont let me share this to FB
The "study" is based on assumptions and shortcuts that are not scientifically legit. The conclusions are just ridiculous.

So they did a "study" and found "evidence" of high antibiotics residue in meat, but decided that they shouldn't publish the numbers so we can compare them with the meat that they do in fact recommend. Yep, totally convincing.

I feel like this story needed more information on the antibiotics given to the animals. Is this study pushing for no antibiotics used on the animals at all, or just reducing the amount? I'm just confused, since it seems like keeping animals from getting sick would help with the quality of the meat. However, if over medicating then that could be an issue. I'd just like more info on it I guess.

antibiotics are used more in factory farming. Over crowding and other emotional stresses inflicted on livestock causes much suffering which leads to sickness. Antibiotics are given so the animals don't get sick and die from the suffering they endure from our cruel farming practises. Growth hormones are also fed to them to make them grow faster for quicker profit. It's all about profit

+Ray Kane those antibiotics are used to grow the meat bigger with less fat, which is a genetic defect that ultimately can cause cancer, so yeah you're damn right i don't want antibiotics in my meat
