I call Bullshit. That's exactly what the Dr. Told me. EXACT WORDS! So I went on Bupenorphine. Started with one a day. Went to two. So on and so on. I'm an addict. If it changed the way I feel...I do it to the extreme. This Dr. said you don't get high on Bupenorphine. I quit getting high on opiates long ago. It just became something to make me feel "normal". That's the same thing Bupenorphine does. So I abused it for 3 years. Guess what the "great" Dr told me." Well maybe you need to go back to treatment." I wish I could be on one of these shows to tell one of these Drs the truth. THEY ARE KILLING MORE PEOPLE THEN THEY ARE HELPING!!

Patients might not get high on suboxone however patients are daaaaaamn sure 100% getting high off methadone...not to mention methadone has a half life of like 2-4 fucking days! Which means u are under the influence for waaaaay longer periods of time...subs I believe have some beneficial medical advancement when it comes to treating opiate addiction but methadone is literally just a way for an addict to continue to be an addict without having to rob, steal, lie, and commit crimes....its one beneficial charachteristic is it actually makes them able to be a functioning addict within in society...keep a job, save and use money wisely and not be a burden on society...

I quit pain meds that I was being prescribed not by moving up to an even stronger pain med (Methadone) but by switching to Cannabis instead. I was legally treated with Ketamine for the depression that the dependency on opiates caused & now I use Cannabis only when I need it rather than constantly like you end up doing with opiates, including methadone or buprenorphine regardless of whether they get you high or not.
