ELBOW PAIN CAUSES AND TREATMENT - Everything You Need To Know - Dr. Nabil Ebraheim

08:34
Dr. Ebraheim’s educational animated video about Elbow pain, describing the conditions associated with the area of the elbow. Tennis elbow ( lateral epicondylitis) It is an inflammation, soreness or pain on the outside (lateral) area near the elbow. Injury is usually seen in patients who perform manual labor or sports that require twisting and extension of the wrist against resistance. There is pain with resistant wrist extension. All these symptoms occur because of degeneration, irritation, tears and pain of the extensor tendons. Treatment includes ice, elbow pads, decreased activity, physical therapy, eccentric exercise, steroid injections or surgery as a last resort. Radial tunnel syndrome The pain of radial tunnel syndrome is very similar to the symptoms of tennis elbow. Pain is usually distal to the lateral epicondyle and radiates down the forearm. If the symptoms of tennis elbow are not going away with treatment, rule out the possibility of radial tunnel syndrome. Treatment: ice, elbow pad, decreased activity, physical therapy, eccentric exercise, injections (steroids or PRP), surgery( as a last resort). Anterior elbow pain ( biceps tendon rupture) The biceps muscle aids in flexion and supination of the forearm. Symptoms of biceps tendon rupture include pain, bruising, and swelling located infront of the elbow. It occurs in patients who perform manual labor, body builders, etc. rupture may retract the muscle casuing popeye sign. Rupture affects 40% of supination of the forearm and the tendon needs to be reattached to the tuberosity of the radius. Elbow arthritis Elbow injuries can lead to loss of cartilage and joint degeneration due to extra wear and tear on the surfaces of the joint. Symptoms include global pain, stiffness and loss of motion. This condition is called osteoarthritis, denerative arthritis or posttraumatic arthritis.Treatment includes anti-inflammatory medications, injections, therapy and rarely surgery. Golfer’s elbow ( medial epicondylitis) The flexor muscles of the forearm are responsible for flexion of the wrist. Golfer’s elbow is an inflammation, soreness or pain on the inside area near the elbow. This pain is due to repetitive overuse or overload activities and is aggravated by movement of the wrist. Treatment includes ice, decreased activity, physical therapy, eccentric exercise, steroid injections or surgery as a last resort. Cubital tunnel syndrome It is a condition due to compression of the ulnar nerve at the area of the medial ( inside) elbow resulting in pain, swelling and weakness of the hand. This problem occurs due to compression where the ulnar nerve passes around the elbow through the cubital tunnel. Treatment conservative then surgery if conservative treatment fails. Medial collateral ligament injury Injury typically occurs in throwing sports such as baseball as seen in pitching ( tommy john injury ). It can lead to chronic pain, valgus instability and can be potentially disabling. Treatment includes: stop throwing, physical therapy, evaluation with x rays and MRI. Injury may need reconstruction which is successful but takes a long time to restore function of the elbow. Posterior impingement syndrome Valgus and extension overload can result in injury of the posterior part of the elbow. Athletes present with posterior elbow pain that worsens when the elbow is extended with loss of velocity and control. Athletes may experience catching, locking, clicking and stiffness. With repeated forced extension of the elbow, the top of the olecranon is jammed into the fossa at the back of the elbow causing inflammation, cartilage injury, loose fragments and bony spurs. Treatment is usually conservative and rarely needs surgery. Olecranon bursitis It is inflammation of a small sac of fluid located on the tip of the elbow.this bursa allows the elbow to bend and straighten freely underneath the skin but can become irritated with repetitive movement. Treatment is usually conservative and rarely needs surgery. this video is created by university of Toledo orthopedic surgeon Please go to the following link and support the artist Johnny Widmer in his art contest - Sign to Facebook and click LIKE https://www.facebook.com/marlinmag/photos/a.10153261748858040.1073741838.134227843039/10153261754338040/?type=3&theater Thank you! https://www.facebook.com/JohnnyWidmerArt?fref=ts http://www.johnnywidmer.com/

Osteoarthritis vs Rheumatoid Arthritis Nursing | Symptoms, Pathophysiology, Treatment Mnemonic NCLEX

16:58
Osteoarthritis vs. rheumatoid arthritis (OA vs. RA) nursing lecture about the symptoms, pathophysiology, treatment, and nursing interventions for the NCLEX exam. Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis are both forms of arthritis that affect the joints but in different ways. Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis that develops due to the deterioration of the articular cartilage. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition that causes inflammation of the synovium within the joint space. In severe cases of RA, the patient can experience bone fusion (ankylosis). Osteoarthritis vs rheumatoid arthritis symptoms include: OA: crepitus, bony outgrowths (Heberden and Bouchard's Nodes which are found on the hands..see pictures in video), joints will feel hard, bony, morning stiffness LESS than 30 minutes, only affects joints (not other systems of the body), and is unsymmetrical. RA: morning stiffness GREATER than 30 minutes, soft, warm, swollen joints, affects joints symmetrically and other systems of the body (fever, anemia, heart, lungs etc.) Treatment for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis include: NSAIDs, tylenol, physical exercise (low-impact exercises, range of motion, wearing-bearing), assistive devices, heat and cold therapy, corticosteriods (oral for RA and intra-arthritic injections in OA). In severe cases of rheumatoid arthritis DMARDs (disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs) may be used, and these medications suppress the immune system from attacking the joint along with helping slow down the destruction of the disease on the joints and bones. The main joint of the shoulder, commonly referred to as "THE shoulder joint", is the joint between the head of the humerus - the upper arm bone, and the glenoid cavity of the scapula -the shoulder blade. This is a ball-and-socket type of joint. Shoulder arthritis refers to loss of cartilage on the surface of the humeral head and the glenoid of the shoulder joint. The two bones rub against each other and produce pain, stiffness and difficulty moving an arm. Types of shoulder arthritis include: Osteoarthritis - also called degenerative joint disease - is the "wear and tear" condition of the joint, commonly due to old age. Osteoarthritis is characterized by loss of cartilage, bone spurring and NO major inflammation. Rheumatoid arthritis – is a result of inflammation of the synovium - the membrane that encloses the joint. Inflammation brings in the cells of the immune system, whose inflammatory chemicals damage and destroy the joint. It is not clear how rheumatoid arthritis starts but genetic predisposition together with infection of the joint are likely to be among the causes. Rotator cuff arthropathy or cuff tear arthropathy is shoulder arthritis AS A RESULT and IN A SETTING of rotator cuff tears. Rotator cuff muscles hold the ball and the socket together and prevent the humeral head from moving out of the socket when the person raises an arm. In people with torn rotator cuff, the head of the humerus moves upwards and rub onto the acromion. This causes damages to the covering cartilage and eventually arthritis. Combination of cuff tear and arthritis is a devastating condition that seriously impairs functions of the shoulder joint. Post-traumatic arthritis – is arthritis that develops after physical injury to the joint. Chondrolysis - sudden loss of cartilage that happens occasionally after a shoulder surgery, commonly seen in association with infusion of local anesthetics into the joint for pain management.

Absolute Best Creme for Sore Muscles & Arthritis & You Can Make it.

11:33
Absolute Best Creme for Sore Muscles & Arthritis & You Can Make it. From my personal experiences of working out and exercising for decades, I have found that the absolute best ointment or creme for sore muscles and joint pain has been a combination of DSMO (dimethyl sulfoxide) and arnica montana. DSMO has been used since the early 1960's for joint and arthritic pain and pain from over-exertion of muscles, especially with professional athletes. It was Doctor Stanley Jacob that first experimented successfully with using DSMO (dimethyl sulfoxide) on arthritic patients. I have found that a product consisting of about 50% DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) and 50% arinica montana with the addition of some aloe vera and coconut oil to be highly effective in almost instantly alleviating pain from sore muscles from over-exercising or bring about instant relieve from joint, back or arthritic pain or discomfort.

Review By Poyao - Verified Purchase This cream saves my sprained ankle I like playing basketball, but few days ago I sprained my ankle. So I searched many products on Amazon to see all the reviews in order to make my decision. This is my first time to buy external pain relief product in my life. I have read some success cases of Yogin that interested me. Both benefits and ingredients matched with my requirement so decided to try the product. In the first two days my ankle was swollen and couldn’t really put the pressure on it. After using YOGIN for three days, the swollen area was gone and I could walk normally. Despite the fact that there’s still some pain, I am now getting back to the normal life. I believe I can get back to the court soon! I’m glad I made the right decision and I recommend everyone to buy this. It really works and worth every penny spent. Review By Charlie W. - Verified Purchase An excellent investment and such an amazing pain relief product There are many pain creams on the market, but most of them were of little help for the pains. Yogin was the only one that met my expectation, usually within two minutes of use. Instructions that comes with Yogin state that it can be used many times per day and in many different parts of the body to relieve the pain, but I found that a single use helps at least half a day for most pain. An excellent investment and such an amazing pain relief product.

03:11
Many people experience joint pain in their knees, elbows and hands. Many people relate this to aging. Because of this, they believe it to be a normal pain and do not seek treatment for it. However, when the body is in pain, it experiences stress. Also, untreated knee pain can cause damage to the knees and cause shifting of the knee. Knee pain can be caused by excessive use, bone density, as well as wear and tear of the muscles and tissues. Vitamin deficiency is also a known cause of knee pain. Particularly, if the body lacks calcium, vitamin D and iron. Someone who lacks vitamin D and calcium is at risk for arthritis and inflammation of the joints. Many people also do not realize that this pain can be treated with a natural remedy which will leave them pain-free in just a matter of a few days. Today’s video will discuss how to prevent joint and knee pain, as well as how to relieve it. If someone experiences knee pain for over a week, there may be a more serious problem than just overuse and they should seek medical attention. It is also very important to eat a diet that is high in vitamins, bromelain and magnesium. A smoothie made from cinnamon, pineapple and orange juice is one natural remedy that is highly effective in treating and relieving knee and joint pain. This smoothie has anti-inflammatory properties, as well as silicon, bromelain, vitamin C and magnesium. Vitamin C is found in pineapple and is especially important to the body’s bones. Pineapple also contains a high amount of bromelain, which is an anti-inflammatory. Cinnamon helps the body’s blood to circulate more effectively. Orange juice also contains vitamin C that can help make ligaments and tendons strong. To make the smoothie, you will need: 2 small cups of diced pineapple; 1 cup of rolled oats; 2 cups of water; 1 glass of orange juice; 1 cinnamon stick; Raw, natural honey; Directions: Add water and oatmeal into a pot and allow to cook for a few minutes. After the oatmeal is cooked well, allow it to cool down. Place orange juice, oats, cinnamon, pineapple, and honey into a blender. Mix all ingredients together and add water to make the smoothie thinner, if desired. For best results, it is recommended to drink this smoothie on a daily basis. After five consistent days of consuming this drink, total relief from knee and joint pain should be experienced. Knee Arthritis Stretches & Exercises - Ask Doctor Jo

07:49
These knee arthritis stretches and exercises are simple to do and should provide some relief from knee arthritis pain. They are also great for keeping your knees nice and fit. Read Doctor Jo's full blog post about this at http://www.askdoctorjo.com/content/knee-arthritis-stretches-exercises The first stretch is for your calf muscles. Start off with your legs out in front of you. Keep the leg you want to stretch out in front of you. Take a stretch strap, dog leash, belt, or towel and wrap it around the ball of your foot. Relax your foot, and pull the strap towards you stretching your calf muscle. You should feel the stretch under your leg. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds, and do three of them. The next stretch is for the hamstrings. Keep your leg that you want to stretch out in front of you. Try to keep your back straight and just bend at your hips. Keep your leg straight and pull your toes towards you to get an extra stretch. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds, and repeat three times. The last stretch is for your quad muscles. This time you will lie on your stomach to stretch. Wrap the strap or dog leash around your ankle, and then lie on your stomach. Bring the strap up and around your shoulder so you are comfortable. Then pull the strap towards you bringing the lower leg towards your bottom. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds doing three of them. Now we will move on to the exercises. The first exercise is going to be a quad set. Put your leg straight out in front of you again. You can use a towel roll underneath your knee as a target. Activate your quad muscle by squeezing it and pull your toes toward you at the same time. This will push your knee into the ground. Try to hold this for 5-10 seconds and do 10 of them. Next you will do a short arc quad (SAQ). For this, you will use a foam roll or a rolled up beach towel. You want something big so you have a good bend in your knee. Prop your leg over the roll with your knee on the roll. Try to keep your knee on the roll the whole time, and then lift your foot in the air until your leg is straight. If you pull your toes towards you at the end, this will help activate all the muscles in the leg. Try not to go fast because then you are only using momentum. Go slow and controlled with your movements. Start of with 10 of these. If you get to 20-25 and it is easy, then you can add ankle weights. For the next exercise, you will sit in a chair. This one is called a long arc quad (LAQ). This is similar to the SAQ where you want to go slow and controlled, and then bring your leg up straight out in front of you. Slowly come back down. Start of with 10 of these. If you get to 20-25 and it is easy, then you can add ankle weights. Now you are going to stand up for the last exercises. For the hamstring exercise standing up, you want to keep the top part of your leg as straight as possible in line with your body. It might try to come forward if your muscles are tight, but try to keep it down. Slowly bring your foot back behind you, like you are trying to kick your bottom. Make sure you are going slow and controlled with these. Start of with 10 of these. If you get to 20-25 and it is easy, then you can add ankle weights. The last one is for calf strengthening. With your feet about shoulder width apart, and holding onto something for balance if you need to, come up on your toes bringing your heels off the ground, and slowly come back down. If that becomes easy, you can do this one foot at a time. Start off with ten and work your way up to 20-25. 8 Signs That Your Dog Suffers Arthritis - Arthritis in the Dog

02:48
→ http://todosobreperros.online/go/onlinedog ← CLICK HERE Arthritis in the dog, what is this disease? Arthritis is a painful inflammation of the joints of the can, which is degenerative and can reduce its mobility. "Arthritis is one of the most common causes of chronic pain in dogs, especially in elderly dogs." This degenerative disease reduces the cartilage that protects the joints. The painful consequence? The bones of the dog rub, losing the protector that separated them, which can cause an abnormal growth of the bone, with immense pain for can. Following are eight signs to recognize arthritis in the dog, and go to the vet as soon as possible. 1. Arthritis in the dog: limp. A can with arthritis may limp or, using pain, use more legs than others, as it will try to carry the least possible weight on legs painful by arthritis. The limp is more evident when the dog begins the walk, and has not yet warmed, and may become less visible once it has warmed the body. This is a clear reason to go to the vet. 2. The dog has trouble moving. The limp of the can also becomes evident when it has difficulties to make movements or to go up to places that previously arrived with normality. An example? A dog with arthritis will have trouble getting into the car or jumping in order to snuggle with his human on the couch as he once did. 3. The dog does not find the posture. A dog with joint pain will have complications to find a comfortable posture. You will try to change your position a thousand times until you find a less painful one, although it will not always succeed. The reason for so much change is the pain. 4. Canine arthritis affects the spine. Arthritis can also affect several parts of the spine. In this case, the dog may have a sore neck and adopt strange positions, such as lying down with a too hunched back. 5. Arthritis in the dog: irritability. The pain makes the dog do not want to eat, and this explains why one of the signs of arthritis in dogs is loss of appetite. Other changes in behavior may also alert you to pain: unusual nervousness, irritability (a consequence of pain), or failure to heed learned behavioral patterns. 6. Dogs tired from arthritis. The pain is exhausting, and a sick canine will be more tired than normal. For a dog, tiredness means avoiding long walks, but also spending more time sleeping. 7. Muscle atrophy in dogs. The inactivity of the muscles due to pain clarifies why dogs with arthritis suffer atrophy of certain parts of the body, such as the less used legs. When this happens, this is already a symptom that the state of arthritis is advanced, and you have to go to the veterinarian urgently. 8. Compulsive licking in the body. The pain makes the dogs affected by arthritis insist insistently the painful areas of the body. This compulsive licking in dogs can cause baldness and even wounds. And what to do when the dog suffers arthritis? You must go to the vet as soon as possible, so that you can give him the treatment you need and also to offer guidelines in order to help you get rid of your overweight with health. Arthritis Alleviating Yoga Routine: Combo Flex (open level)

23:42
http://yogea.org/combo-flex/ This Yogea routine comprises a compendium of poses and breathing techniques that instruct proper posture, lubricate the joints and decrease the uric acid that causes swelling and inflammation. Deep breathing brings vital energy into the intervertebral disks and boost the production of synovial fluid in the articulating cartilage. Special accessible poses stretch the joints and strengthens the muscles that support them. Each pair of joint is addressed simultaneously through a wide variety of actions – flexion, extension, supination, pronation, rotation and torsion so you can increase your movement range and amplitude. Hip and shoulder openers target the health of the ball and socket joints; knee and elbow strengtheners stimulate the hinge joints while wrist and ankle rotations lubricate the hands and feet. A seated and reclining wind down emphasizes spinal twists to decompress the spine, and forward bending hip and shoulder openers to cultivate right posture. Gentle circles of all the joints in a supine position bring awareness into every joint. A relaxing meditation releases accumulated tension and uses imagery to reduce inflammation and revives the power in the joints to articulate and move with control and abandon.

V6 special story on Arthritis problem

03:08
Arthritis is a form of joint disorder that involves inflammation of one or more joints. There are over 100 different forms of arthritis. The most common form, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), is a result of trauma to the joint, infection of the joint, or age. Other arthritis forms are rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and related autoimmune diseases. Septic arthritis is caused by joint infection. The major complaint by individuals who have arthritis is joint pain. Pain is often a constant and may be localized to the joint affected. The pain from arthritis is due to inflammation that occurs around the joint, damage to the joint from disease, daily wear and tear of joint, muscle strains caused by forceful movements against stiff painful joints and fatigue. There is no cure for either rheumatoid or osteoarthritis. Treatment options vary depending on the type of arthritis and include physical therapy, lifestyle changes (including exercise and weight control), orthopedic bracing, medications. Joint replacement surgery may be required in eroding forms of arthritis. Medications can help reduce inflammation in the joint which decreases pain. Moreover, by decreasing inflammation, the joint damage may be slowed. Here is a routine that will help reduce neck and shoulder tension, pain and arthritis, and will help increase your strength Come join us for a free 7 day trial and access all our full length qigong videos! https://qigongforvitality.vhx.tv http://www.qigongforvitality.com/qigong-for-neck-and-shoulder-tension-and-strength/ Join our newsletter if you would like to receive our newest qigong videos :) https://goo.gl/ZRtB7N There are many reasons why people practice qigong. One of the main reasons is due to pain and tension. When we have muscle and joint pain it can lead to tension. The tension often causes more pain, it is a vicious cycle. Add to that, often we have pain and tension because of weakness. So we have pain, tension, and weakness. Qigong practice is great at addressing all three of those issues so that it will give us relief from: chronic pain arthritis chronic tension tight muscles poor circulation This is an easy routine that includes an exercise from the Yijin Jing “muscle and tendon changing” qigong. This is one of the oldest forms of qigong that was designed to invigorate the soft tissue, joints, and increase blood circulation. These exercises are a little different because you actually tense you muscles while moving slowly and gently. You have both the Yin of relaxation, and the Yang of tension during the movement. It’s wonderful! Soon we will be adding a full “Muscle and Tendon Changing” routine to our video library, but in the meantime I am sure you will find this mini routine helpful! To get the full benefit of qi gong practice I would highly recommend practicing full routines. You can find plenty different routines in the "Communi Qi" Come join us for a free 7 day trial and access all our full length qigong videos! https://qigongforvitality.vhx.tv Become a member of our Communi-Qi and learn qigong! http://qigongforvitality.com Like us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/QiGongForVitality/

Remedies And Cures For Rheumatoid Arthritis

03:18
The hallmark joint and muscle inflammation associated with arthritis commonly results in pain. This condition affects millions of women and men throughout the world and can even start to develop in children. You can conquer arthritis by applying new management techniques and seeing which works best. This article will demonstrate several ways you can fight back against arthritis. http://a2buys.com/Rheumatoid-Arthritis-Natural-Treatment.html While it may be hard, it is very important to exercise regularly to fight your arthritis. If you fail to exercise the joints, it is like that they will grow weak, which can exacerbate arthritis. Take part in exercises that encourage flexibility, as this will help in the range of motion your body can achieve. http://a2buys.com/Rheumatoid-Arthritis-Natural-Treatment.html Some studies indicate that unlike with other medical issues, alcohol consumption does not increase problems with arthritis. Some studies, in fact, suggest that some arthritis symptoms may be ameliorated by a modest alcohol intake. Lay down the clipper on your thigh, then press down using the heal on your hand. You will not have to use a finger that is sensitive, it will be easier to do. Before immediately assuming you need surgery for knee pain, see how a brace improves its function first. A good brace may help reduce your pain and swelling. You can keep the knee brace on while you are asleep. Be sure of what you need to look for when you are dealing with arthritis. This will benefit you in early diagnosis and treatment. If you think you have the symptoms of arthritis, discuss your condition with your doctor for the best remedies and management. If health is an issue, consider implementing a weight loss and fitness routine. Weight can be a major factor in arthritis pain. When you lose some weight, you will lose some pain. Dropping your weight by a few pounds can bring relief to your aching, overburdened joints. Laugh as much as possible. This helps alleviate stress no matter how you do it. People suffering from arthritis often feel the burden of pain lifted by a good laugh. If you want to lessen the intense pain and swelling of arthritis, you need to stop smoking. It has been shown through studies that non smokers have less inflammation in joints if they suffer from arthritis. If you are a smoker, consider throwing the habit away! It could alleviate some of your symptoms. Doctors are able to give you medication that can help if you're having trouble stopping on your own. People with arthritis used to be advised to stay away from alcohol. More recent studies, however, have found that moderate alcohol consumption does not aggravate the symptoms of arthritis. Some of that research even suggests that alcohol may actually reduce arthritis symptoms. Some studies indicate that by maintaining or increasing your muscle strength through strength-training techniques, you can reduce the pain of your arthritis. Moderate to high-volume strength training can boost your physical capabilities, emotional condition, and functionality over time. Although strength training does not produce immediate results, it is an excellent long-term plan for combating arthritic pain. Taking a warm bath or shower can do wonders for arthritis symptoms. The heat and humidity will ease some of the tenseness from your muscles and your tendons, thereby relieving your pain and allowing you to relax. Moist heating pads can help, too. These can be found at various drug stores, and you can wet them prior to turning them on. If you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, you might feel guilty because you can't do what you used to. Whenever possible, just try to do things that are less taxing when your arthritis symptoms are particularly troublesome as a way of alleviating your guilt. Make sure to get adequate rest, even if you have to take naps. If you find yourself taking daily naps to get sufficient rest, you might as well make it a deliberate and scheduled habit so that you are best prepared to manage your arthritic conditions. As discussed in the beginning of this article, it can be a struggle to find an simple way to remedy your arthritis. This article should help you understand the basis of what you need to know about arthritis. Treatments and therapies are available for treating various arthritis symptoms. http://a2buys.com/Rheumatoid-Arthritis-Natural-Treatment.html

Hand Arthritis Stretches & Exercises - Ask Doctor Jo

03:28
Hand arthritis is pretty common, and it can be very debilitating. Since the joints in the hand are small, you don’t have to do much to relieve the pain, you just have to keep them moving. These stretches and exercises should help your hand arthritis feel better. See Doctor Jo’s blog post about this at: http://www.askdoctorjo.com/hand-arthritis You can set your arm on a table or flat surface to relax it, or if you don’t have anything available, you can prop your elbow up on your knee or thigh. Start off with a fist and warm up your wrist. With your palm side facing down, move your fist up and down at the wrist for flexion and extension. Now move it side to side in a radial and ulnar deviation movement. Ten in each direction should be fine since this is just to warm up the muscles. Next, you will keep your fingers straight, and take your thumb and touch each finger in the middle of your hand, and then spread them all back apart. You can do three times back and forth. Now bend your fingers at the joint closest to your wrist, still keeping the fingers as straight as you can. Bend down and back up gliding the tendons up and down. Now move to the next joint down the fingers. This time open your fingers, and then curl the top part of your fingers down for the stretch. Finally, go to the last joint farthest down the finger. You might have to hold onto the near part of your finger so just the last joint moves. Just start off with ten of each of these with a continuous movement. For the last stretch, start with all your fingers close together, and then spread them out as far as you can, just like you are fanning them out. You don’t have to do a lot of these exercises since these are small joints. 2-3 minutes, 2-3 times a day should be plenty. Excerpts of this video from alphzoup contains information designed to promote the American Emu industry. For more information: Emu-Oil-Benefits.blogspot.sg Studies have proven what the Aborigines have known for centuries, that Emu oil can be used for relief of muscle aches and neck, shoulders, knee and leg pains. Most available over the counter creams serves to hide the pain through numbing it. Emu oil is different, Emu oil has a transdermal quality meaning that it penetrates the skin fast and gets absorbed. This also helps when emu oil is used an 'agent' to deliver the medical ingredient that helps the patient. Pure emu oil is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, thus reduces the swelling. Many users have discovered these healing qualities of emu oil , even NBA players and coaches who massages athletes with emu oil for their sore muscle, leg, shoulder and knee pains. Emu oil has been found to deliver fast relief for neck and shoulder pains when one has been sitting in front of a computer for long hours. It is especially helpful for the elderly suffering from arthritis.
