How to Increase Your White Blood Cell Count

13:54
How to Increase Your White Blood Cell Count https://youtu.be/VYSzInSIoSQ Produced in the bone marrow, white blood cells (WBCs) are the disease-fighting agents of your immune system. A healthy body has an abundance of WBCs that travel to the affected organs whenever an infection strikes. The normal range of WBCs in the blood is between 4,500 and 10,000 per microliter. When the WBC count drops below 4,500, it is a cause for concern. This condition is called leukopenia. Another condition called neutropenia is a type of leukopenia and is characterized by a deficiency of neutrophil granulocytes, a specific type of white blood cells that are the most abundant in the body. Some common causes of leukopenia include acute viral infections such as a cold and influenza, copper and zinc deficiency, typhoid, dengue, malaria, tuberculosis and Lyme disease. Other causes include aplastic anemia; cancers such as bone cancer, which damages the bone marrow, and lymphoma, which is a cancer that begins in the WBCs; chemotherapy and radiation therapy, which disrupt bone marrow activity; and autoimmune diseases like lupus. Lack of adequate WBCs weakens your immune system, making you more susceptible to disease-causing bacteria and viruses. If the deficiency is not treated, these diseases will strengthen over time, rendering your body unable to fight the diseases at all. Here are top 10 ways to help increase the white blood cell count in your body. 1. Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa): Cat’s claw is a South American vine found in the rainforests in the Amazon that possesses incredible immune-boosting properties. 2. Astragalus: Also known as “huang qi” or “huang chi”, astragalus is a Chinese herb derived from the astragalus membranaceus plant. It possesses terrific WBC-promoting properties. 3. Echinacea: Echinacea is a well-researched, immune-boosting Native American herb. Unlike vaccines that target a specific disease and antibiotics that directly attack bacteria, echinacea stimulates the activity of the WBCs that fight diseases through a process called phagocytosis. 4. Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Dietary omega-3 fatty acids increase the body’s production of phagocytes, a type of WBCs that engulf harmful foreign entities like bacteria entering our bodies through a process called phagocytosis. 5. Vitamins B6, B12 and Folic Acid (Folate): Vitamins B6 and B12 as well as folic acid are all responsible for producing WBCs in the body. 6. Copper: Healthy adults have between 50 and 80 milligrams of copper in their blood. A copper deficiency leads to a number of disorders, including leukopenia.diagnosed with leukopenia must be tested for copper deficiency, as it is often a leading cause of the condition. 7. Zinc: It is no secret that zinc is a solid immune-booster. Because there were few studies on the correlation between zinc deficiency and reduction of WBCs, a rat study was conducted in 2009 and published in the Journal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology. 8. Regulated Exercise: Exercise significantly boosts immunity. It promotes blood circulation, including WBCs, to various parts of the body. 9. Yoga’s Cobra Pose: While all forms of yoga improve circulation and promote the body’s production of WBCs, the Cobra Pose (bhujangasana) in particular activates the thymus gland located behind the breastbone. The thymus gland produces disease-fighting T-cells. 10. Good Hygiene: If you have a low WBC count, it is imperative to practice good hygiene. This is a necessary to boost your immune system. James Duke, Ph.D., author of The Green Pharmacy, found more than 20 anti-inflammatory compounds in celery and celery seeds, including a substance called apigenin, which is powerful in its anti-inflammatory action. Adding celery seeds to soups, stews or as a salt substitute in many recipes can boost the flavonoid content of these preparations. The antioxidant support we get from celery is largely due to its phenolic nutrients that have been shown to help protect us against unwanted oxidative damage to our cells, blood vessels, and organ systems. Starves Cancer As a cancer-fighting bioflavonoid, apigenin has also been studied in relation to breast and ovarian cancers. A University of Missouri study found that apigenin shrank a type of breast cancer that's stimulated by progestin, a synthetic hormone often given to menopausal women. The study's co-author, Salman Hyder, noted that apigenin slowed the cancer in three ways...inducing cell death, inhibiting cell proliferation and reducing expression of a gene associated with cancer growth. Blood vessels that feed cancer cells also have smaller diameters in apigenin-treated mice compared with untreated ones resulting in restricted nutrient flow to tumors, potentially starving the cancer and limiting its ability to spread. Meanwhile another study, this one at Rutgers University, found other anti-cancer compounds in celery called acetylenics -- which can actually stop tumor cells from growing. They suggest that drinking raw celery juice can prevent free radicals from harming your cells, which can stop cancer from developing in your stomach and colon. Celery also protects against free radicals and cell mutation. It enhances the delivery Because chronic oxidative stress and excessive inflammation are key risk factors for the development of many cancer types, it's not surprising to see scientists interested in the potential benefits of celery intake for cancer prevention. While we've seen speculation about celery benefits for stomach cancer, colon cancer, and bladder cancer, we've been unable to find actual human research studies in any of these areas. Hopefully, future research studies will address the potential cancer-related benefits of celery much more closely. Celery contains another compound, a phytochemical known as coumarin. Studies on coumarins show they're effective for cancer prevention, and are capable of enhancing the immune activities of certain lines of white blood cells. The high levels of coumarins in celery bolster the body's immunity and enhance the body's resistance to infection by stimulating white blood cell activity. Celery is chock full of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin K (good for blood and bones), vitamin C (an immune booster), amino acids, essential fatty acids, folate, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, zinc, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and E. 15 Reasons To Eat Celery Lowers blood pressure and tones your vascular system. Magnesium deficiency is known to affect your blood pressure. Celery is packed with magnesium, which can relax the muscle cells in your arterial walls. This dilates your arteries, allowing your blood more room to flow freely. Healthy flexible joints. Celery's anti-inflammatory attributes help reduce joint pain and swelling, which means it can help those suffering from arthritis, rheumatism, and gout. It also contains a diuretic that can help remove uric acid crystals from your joints. Asthma. Celery's high vitamin C levels can help alleviate asthmatic conditions. Colds/Flu. Vitamin C also helps prevent viral illnesses. Insomnia. Sleeplessness can wreak havoc on your health. For a good night's sleep, drink a glass of freshly-juiced celery with one tablespoon of honey before bedtime. This can help you relax into a restful sleep. Plus, its medicinal properties can work while you sleep. http://preventdisease.com/news/13/081913_Celery-and-Artichokes-Contain-Powerful-Flavonoids-That-Kill-Cancer-Cells.shtml

How I Increase My White Blood Count Naturally and Safely

10:48
White blood cells are produced in the bone marrow, and typically work as part of the immune system to fight off bacterial and viral infections. What’s considered a “normal” white blood cell count is usually between 4,500 to 10,000 white blood cells (WBCs) per microliter of blood. Those who have 3,500 or less may be considered to have a low WBC (also called “neutropenia”), but not always—it depends on the patient, the doctor, and the situation. A WBC of less than 1,000 is generally always considered too low and an indication of a serious infection risk. In addition to a blood test showing low levels, other symptoms of a low WBC may include fatigue, recurrent infections that are hard to treat, shortness of breath, and weakness. More serious symptoms indicating a need for immediate medical attention include fever, swollen lymph nodes, sore throat, and skin lesions. A low WBC can exist without outside symptoms, however.

Here's how to increase red blood cells right

06:15
Here's how to increase red blood cells right A low red blood count or anemia can cause feelings of fatigue and weakness. When people have a lower red blood count than normal, their body has to work overtime to get enough oxygen to the cells. This can leave a person feeling drained. Low red blood cell count can cause a variety of symptoms and complications. There are several diet and lifestyle changes that people can make to help the body increase the number of red blood cells. However, if symptoms persist, it is important to see a doctor. What are the symptoms of low red blood cells? Anemia is a condition characterised by a low red blood cell count. It can lead to dangerous complications if it is not addressed properly. Foods to eat to increase red blood cells A low red blood cell count is usually due to low consumption of essential nutrients. Eating more nutrient-rich foods can give the body the necessary tools to create healthy red blood cells. These vitamins and minerals can also be taken as supplements, although it is best to get nutrients straight from healthful foods. Try to consume foods rich in the following nutrients: Iron Iron is the nutrient most commonly associated with anemia. The body uses iron to make the hemoglobin that stores the oxygen in the blood cells. Without iron, these cells can die or be unable to deliver oxygen to the body. Vitamin B-12 A bowl with nutritional yeast flakes, a plant-based source of B-12. Nutritional yeast flakes are a plant-based source of vitamin B-12. Other sources include milk alternatives such as almond or soya milk. Vitamin B-9 Vitamin B-9 is also known as folic acid or folate. It is an essential nutrient for the nervous system and adrenal glands and helps create new cells in the body. Vitamin C While vitamin C does not directly affect the red blood cells, it is still important because it helps the body absorb more iron. Iron helps increase the number of red blood cells that the body can make. Copper Copper is an essential mineral that helps the body use the iron in the bloodstream. If there is not enough copper in the body, it can be difficult for the body to absorb the iron the blood cells need to survive. Vitamin A Vitamin A can be found in collard greens, kale, and other dark leafy greens. These can also be a good source of iron. Lifestyle changes Making simple lifestyle changes can make a big difference in increasing red blood cell count. Reducing alcohol consumption It may be helpful to eliminate or reduce alcoholic beverages from the diet, as drinking too much alcohol may lower the RBC count. Exercising Moderate exercise is beneficial for everyone, but it is especially important to create healthy red blood cells. Sustained vigorous exercise that raises the heart rate causes the body and brain to need more oxygen. This is why the heart beats faster, and the lungs breathe deeper and quicker. Workouts include: running, jogging, cycling, swimming, guided exercise classes, such as spinning or aerobics

How to Boost immune system naturally

02:52
How to Boost immune system naturally White blood cells, also known as leukocytes, are the body's natural defense against infections, and are a major part of the function of the immune system. They eat away foreign bacteria and other organisms that invade the body, and they are therefore responsible for immunity (the ability of the body to fight infections). Some people may have weaker immune systems genetically; others may have weaker immune systems because of viral or bacterial infections. 1.Eating the Right Foods: Eating a balanced diet ensures that the right nutrients reach the bone marrow, where white blood cells are produced. Start by making sure to eat plenty of protein, which is the most important component of white blood cells.[1] You can get protein from meat, dairy, eggs and vegetables. 2.Incorporate immunity-boosting foods into your diet: There are a number of particular foods that can help. like, Garlic Almonds Kale Navy beans Reishi mushrooms Blueberries and raspberries Yogurt Green and Tulsi teas 3.Increase your intake of Zinc. Zinc is one of the most important components of enzymes present in white blood cells, and a deficiency of this mineral can result in a weaker immune system. You can get zinc from meat, fish, and milk. 4. Get enough vitamin C. Vitamin C increases your white blood cell count and enhances the cells' effectiveness. It is also an antioxidant, which means that it prevents the destruction of existing white blood cells. 5.Eat a healthy diet. Many people only think about their health when it is in danger; don't wait until you are sick or injured to care for your body. Making healthy food choices on a daily basis is one of the best ways to maintain your cardiovascular health, improve your energy levels, and keep your muscles and bones strong. A healthy diet should be high in fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins, and low in excess sugar, fat, and alcohol. 6.Exercise regularly. Getting enough exercise improves your cardiovascular health, and greatly reduces the likelihood of certain chronic diseases.. Exercise increases the flow of blood through different parts of the body, and it increases the body's excretion of harmful metabolites, helping your immune system function properly, and may even decrease your chances of developing heart disease, osteoporosis, and cancer. 7. Vitamin B6 This important vitamin — part of nearly 200 biochemical reactions in your body — is critical in how your immune system functions. Foods high in vitamin B6 include bananas, lean chicken breast, cold-water fish such as tuna, baked potatoes and chickpeas. Bring on the hummus Thanks for watching. Please subscribe :)

How to Increase Red Blood Cell Count rbc blood count range

04:23
How to Increase Red Blood Cell Count rbc blood count range Disclaimer:This Video only For Educational Purpose If you are feeling weak and lethargic, it could be that you are suffering from anemia -- a low red blood cell count (RBC). A lack of iron in the diet and, perhaps, other minerals and nutrients is the most common cause of this condition. Low hemoglobin levels and a low red blood cell count are two signs of dietary, nutritional deficiencies possibly unbalanced diet, malnutrition and, in some cases, diseases such as leukemia if one's white blood cell count is very high at the same time. 1 Incorporate iron-rich food in your diet for nutritional improvement. This will help the body rebuild and replace what is lacking. Daily intake of iron rich food will help increase RBCs in the body. This is because it is an essential part of a red blood cell and hemoglobin as it helps deliver oxygen to different body parts. It also helps in excretion of carbon monoxide upon exhalation. Food rich in iron includes:[1] Beans/Legumes Lentils Green leafy vegetables like kale and spinach Dried fruits including prunes Organs meats such as liver Egg yolks Red meat Dried raisins If daily consumption of iron rich food daily is not enough, you can turn for supplements and minerals that may increase red blood production. Iron is available in 50-100mg and can be taken 2-3 times daily. 2 Get more copper. Copper is another essential mineral that helps the cells access the chemical form of iron necessary for red blood cells during the process of iron metabolism. Copper can be found in poultry meats, shellfish, liver, whole grains, chocolate, beans, cherries and nuts. Copper supplements are also available in 900mcg tablet form and can be taken once daily. Accordingly, adults require 900 micrograms of copper per day. During the reproductive years, women menstruate thus require more copper than men. Women need 18mg while men only require 8mg per day. 3 Make sure you get enough folic acid. Otherwise known as vitamin B9, folic acid helps in the production of normal RBCs. A significant decrease folic acid may predispose anemia. Cereals, bread, dark green leafy vegetables, peas, lentils, beans and nuts contain high amounts of folic acid. It is also available in supplement form – 100 to 250mcg can be taken once daily. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists or ACOG recommends a daily intake of 400 mcg every day for adult women who regularly menstruate. Likewise, the National Institute of Health recommends 600 mcg of folic acid for pregnant women. Besides aiding in production of healthy blood cells, folic acid plays an essential role in the production and repair of the basic building block of cells in normal functioning DNA. 4 Take vitamin A (Retinol). Vitamin A, supports stem cell development of RBCs in the bone marrow by ensuring that developing red blood cells access enough iron required to process hemoglobin. Sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, dark green leafy vegetables, sweet red peppers and fruits like apricots, grapefruit, watermelon, plums/prunes and cantaloupe melons are rich in Vitamin A. The daily dietary requirement of vitamin A for women is 700 mcg and 900 mcg for men. 5 Get your vitamin C, too. Take vitamin C when you take your iron supplement to bring about a synergistic effect. This is because vitamin C boosts the ability of the body to absorb more iron, increasing red blood cell production. Taking 500mg of vitamin C once daily together with iron will increase its absorption rate in the body making it more effective. However, take precautions while taking iron as high levels of the supplement can be harmful to the body. Comparing Colloidal Silver to Vitamin C in Cancer Fighting Power

13:31
Vitamin C just may be the best anti-toxin, anti-virus, anti-bacterial natural molecule known to man. Your immune system is still the only known cure for your cancer outside of a miracle from Almighty God. Vitamin c is necessary for your immune system to work its best. Colloidal Silver works in a similar way as chemotherapy. And if the particles are small enough to pass into the blood stream, the greatest collateral damage of colloidal silver begins when the silver particles get logged in the eyes, liver, other organs and the bone marrow. When digested Vitamin C is broken down to the molecular size and is processed normally and naturally in the body. Colloidal silver may be changed chemically by the stomach acids. Then particles many times larger than the vitamin c molecule will float around the blood stream. The following is from Dr. Levy’s website: I am not going to read it to you, but it is list of very important scientifically proven facts about vitamin c. I hope this helps. 20 Ways Vitamin C Supports a Healthy Immune System The power of vitamin C is often attributed to its role as an antioxidant. However, no other antioxidant can perform the many additional physiological and biological roles that vitamin C fills. To think of vitamin C as nothing more than an antioxidant would be a great understatement. Among its many positive effects on the body, vitamin C is a strong supporter of healthy immune function. Here’s how: 1. Vitamin C supports the production of interferons. Interferons are produced when the presence of pathogens is detected. They facilitate the ability of cells to launch protective cellular defenses.* 2. Vitamin C enhances the function of phagocytes. Phagocytes are a type of white blood cell that envelop pathogens and other dangerous particles. Once the invaders are captured in this manner, they are enzymatically digested.* 3. Vitamin C supports the cell-mediated immune response. There are 2 major ways that the body can respond to a pathogen: antibody-mediated immunity and cell-mediated immunity. Cell-mediated response refers to the activation of macrophages, natural killer cells, and antigen-specific T-lymphocytes that attack anything perceived as a foreign agent.* 4. Vitamin C neutralizes oxidative stress.* 5. Vitamin C improves and enhances the immune response achieved with vaccination.* 6. Vitamin C enhances cytokine production by white blood cells. Cytokines are communication proteins released by certain white blood cells that transmit information to other cells, promoting the immune response.* 7. Vitamin C inhibits various forms of T-lymphocyte death. T-lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell. They are an integral part of the cell-mediated immune defense system. Vitamin C helps to keep these important cells alive and viable.* 8. Vitamin C enhances nitric oxide production by phagocytes. Phagocytes, as discussed in #2, are white blood cells that engulf invading microorganisms. Nitric oxide is produced in large amounts in these cells, and it is one of the agents that will kill captured pathogens.* 9. Vitamin C enhances T-lymphocyte production. As mentioned in #7, these cells are essential to cell-mediated immune responses, and Vitamin C helps them to multiply in number.* 10. Vitamin C enhances B-lymphocyte production. These white blood cells make antibodies as part of the antibody-mediated immune response. Antibodies are formed in reaction to the initial introduction of an invading pathogen or antigen.* 11. Vitamin C inhibits neuraminidase production. Some pathogenic viruses and bacteria create neuraminidase, an enzyme that keeps them from being trapped in mucus, one of the body’s natural lines of defense. Inhibiting neuraminidase helps the body optimize this defensive mechanism.* 12. Vitamin C supports antibody production and activity. Good antibody function is important to a healthy immune system.* 13. Vitamin C supports natural killer cell activity. Natural killer cells are lymphocytes that can directly attack cells, like tumor cells, and kill them.* 14. Vitamin C supports localized generation and interaction with hydrogen peroxide. Vitamin C and hydrogen peroxide can kill microorganisms and can dissolve the protective capsules of some bacteria, such as pneumococci. * 15. Vitamin C enhances cyclic GMP levels in lymphocytes. Cyclic GMP plays a central role in the regulation of many physiologic responses, including the modulation of immune responses. Cyclic GMP is important for normal cell proliferation and differentiation. It also controls the action of many hormones, and it appears to mediate the relaxation of smooth muscle.* 16. Vitamin C detoxifies histamine. This effect is important in the support of local immune factors.*

Internal bleeding due to a health disorder is another common cause of blood loss. You also lose some blood by donating blood. While the white blood cells replenish rapidly, it takes several weeks for the red blood cells to replenish. However, eating the right type of food promotes rapid production of the blood cells. If you have lost blood for some reason, to rapidly replenish the lost blood Add The Following Foods To Your Diet 1. Red Meat Red meat is the best food for replenishing the red blood cells after blood loss. The high bioavailability of iron from red meat makes it the best source of iron for building red blood cells. Furthermore, red meat is a good source of vitamin B12, the nutrient that plays an important role in building healthy red blood cells. To rapidly replenish blood, eat at least small amounts of red meat free from fats twice a week. 2. Leafy Green Vegetables Leafy greens are known to help in rapidly replenishing the red blood cells. The molecular structure of chlorophyll closely resembles that of hemoglobin. Ingesting chlorophyll rich foods seems to help in rapidly promoting the red blood cell count. Leafy greens also contain iron and folic acid that are essential for building healthy red blood cells. 3. Banana Banana can also help in replenishing the lost blood. It is a good source of iron. It also contains vitamin C, which helps in increasing absorption of iron. Moreover, banana contains vitamin B6, a nutrient essential for building hemoglobin. 4. Beans Beans contain iron. When taken along with other dietary sources of iron, they help in promoting formation of red blood cells. In addition, beans are good sources of folate and vitamin B6. 5. Coconut Water Immediately after you lose blood, drink coconut water. Historically, coconut water is used to improve the blood plasma level after blood loss. Coconut water also helps in restoring the electrolyte balance of the body and improving the energy level after blood loss. 6. Orange Juice Orange Juice is rich in vitamin C. How to Increase Your White Blood Cell Count-Haematology White Blood Cell Count

04:37
How to Increase Your White Blood Cell Count-Haematology White Blood Cell Count Produced in the bone marrow, white blood cells (WBCs) are the disease-fighting agents of your immune system. 1. Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) Cat’s claw is a South American vine found in the rainforests in the Amazon that possesses incredible immune-boosting properties. A 2001 study published in Phytomedicine notes that when 12 healthy adult subjects were administered daily doses of cat’s claw water extract supplements for 12 weeks, they experienced an increased production of leukocytes. Studies also have demonstrated the efficacy of cat’s claw consumption in patients who had a low WBC count post chemotherapy. However, cancer patients should consult their doctors before consuming this herb, as it is known to have promoted survival of leukemic cells in lab conditions. Note: Consult your doctor before consuming this herb if you are on any kind of medication. If you take blood thinners, use cat’s claw with caution as it could induce bleeding. 2. Astragalus Also known as “huang qi” or “huang chi”, astragalus is a Chinese herb derived from the astragalus membranaceus plant. It possesses terrific WBC-promoting properties. A 2006 study published in Phytotherapy Research notes that when patients consumed astragalus separately and in combination with other herbs for seven days, the activity of the immune cells was strengthened. While astragalus does not eliminate cancer from its roots, it significantly boosts the immune systems of cancer patients by promoting phagocytosis in the existing WBCs. A 2006 study published in Cancer Letters notes that the astragalus membranaceus plant exhibits T-cell-boosting properties in cancer patients. T-cells are the body’s vital immunity-boosting WBCs. Astragalus is available as tablet or capsule supplements, as a tincture (alcohol extract) and prescribed by some doctors in an injectable form. Note: Consult your doctor before taking this herb for any possible side effects and drug interactions. 3. Echinacea Echinacea is a well-researched, immune-boosting Native American herb. Unlike vaccines that target a specific disease and antibiotics that directly attack bacteria, echinacea stimulates the activity of the WBCs that fight diseases through a process called phagocytosis. A 2005 study published in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics notes that 11 healthy individuals (between 26 and 61 years old) who consumed two echinacea tablets daily for 14 days experienced an increase in the overall number of WBCs and stimulated activity of leucocytes. Note: Patients who have liver disorders or diabetes should consult their doctors before consuming this herb. Consult your doctor if you are on any kind of medication before consuming this herb. If you take blood thinners, use echinacea with caution as it could induce bleeding. 4. Omega-3 Fatty Acids Dietary omega-3 fatty acids increase the body’s production of phagocytes, a type of WBCs that engulf harmful foreign entities like bacteria entering our bodies through a process called phagocytosis. A 2001 study published in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention notes that the levels of WBCs in female volunteers increased when they took dietary fatty acids. In addition, a 2013 study published in the Journal of Leukocyte Biology notes that fish oil consumption promotes the activity of a type of WBCs called B cells. Foods with the highest omega-3 fatty acid content include flaxseed oil, fish oil, chia seeds, walnuts, salmon, oysters, spinach and soybeans. 5. Vitamins B6, B12 and Folic Acid (Folate) Vitamins B6 and B12 as well as folic acid are all responsible for producing WBCs in the body. A 2011 study published in the Journal of Medical Case Reports notes that a neutropenia patient reported significantly decreased levels of vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid. Oral vitamin B6 supplementation increased the level of neutrophil WBCs and corrected her condition. Severe neutropenia can cause cancer. The study further suggests a thorough screening for deficiencies of vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid in neutropenia patients for focused treatment. Foods rich in vitamin B6 include sunflower seeds, turkey, chicken, dried nuts, avocados, bananas and spinach.
