10 Natural Ways to Get Rid of Varicose Veins and Increase Blood Flow

10:05
Almost everyone occasionally experiences cold feet or numbness in their toes and fingers. But if it happens every day, it's a sign that you need help. It signals that your blood circulation is poor, which might result in kidney issues, varicose vein problems, and other not so pleasant diseases. Therefore, you should act quickly to avoid any possible health problems. TIMESTAMPS Get a pet 0:43 Choose wine over beer 1:35 Eat spicy food 2:36 Quit smoking 3:30 Wear the right clothes 4:20 Drink green tea 5:12 Add foods rich in folic acid 6:00 Elevate your feet 6:59 Get a massage 7:50 Drink more water 8:49 SUMMARY - American Heart Association stated that owning a pet, especially a dog, reduces the risk of heart diseases. Forming a special bond with your pet lowers your heart rate when you are around them and helps you manage your stress. Besides, owning a dog increases your chances of getting outside and walking. - Compared to other alcohol, wine gives you more benefits because it contains antioxidants and other plant compounds. In fact, it prevents blood platelets from sticking to one another, which highly reduces the risk of blood clots, which are the main reasons for strokes and heart attacks. Don't get too excited, though, as a moderate approach is a key here: the best amount of daily wine consumption is one drink for women and not more than two a day for men. - Spicy foods are known to be quite helpful when you're dealing with poor blood circulation. For example, such products as cayenne pepper and red pepper expand blood vessels and increase the blood flow. They help your cardiovascular system to function better and keep blood pressure normal. - If you still can't get rid of this unhealthy habit, here's a good reason to do it right now. Regular smoking destroys important antioxidants in your system and increases blood pressure. In the long run, smoking affects pretty much every organ in your body, including heart and blood vessels. - Tight pants or skinny jeans hamper circulation and can facilitate the development of varicose veins. It's much better to choose lightly fitted or slightly loose garments, which will allow your blood to circulate normally throughout your body. - Green tea is known to have a great effect on your health and physical state. It prevents cancer, lowers your cholesterol level, helps to lose weight and have a positive effect on the brain activity. - One of the most important reasons to consume enough foods rich in folic acid is cellular growth and regeneration. Folic acid is engaged in the creation of red blood cells and the prevention of anemia. That means that not having enough folic acid will affect blood clotting. To prevent it, eat more dark leafy greens, such as spinach, turnip greens, and lettuce. - Putting your feet up above the level of your heart improves your circulation at once as it takes the pressure off the veins and legs. It also helps you relax after a long hard day. This simple movement reduces the stress, swelling, and pressure on your blood vessels and veins. - A good massage increases local circulation as it stimulates blood flow in the soft tissues. Several studies have shown that massage positively affects your peripheral vascular function. Don't forget that to have a needed effect it should be done right. - Doctors recommend drinking about 8 glasses of water everyday. You can simply drink one or two bottles of water every day – it will do the job just as well. Another good variant is to find out the exact amount of water you should consume daily, depending on your age, gender and other important details about your lifestyle. 7 Hidden Causes Of Varicose Veins You Should Know | Healthy Living Tips

02:11
7 Hidden Causes Of Varicose Veins You Should Know Many people, especially women, are prone to varicose veins, which is the condition of enlarged veins that appear on the feet and legs. Standing and walking increases the pressure in the veins, so the lower part of the body is more susceptible to varicose veins. They can be painful and uncomfortable, but they also look highly unattractive as well. These are the 7 main causes of varicose veins: Sitting For Long Periods Of Time Prolonged periods of sitting make the blood pool in the veins instead of being pumped around by the muscles, and this enlarges the veins and leads to varicose veins. Pregnancy The amount of blood in the bodies of pregnant women is increased, and the amount of blood flowing from the legs to the pelvis is reduced, which leads to this condition. Lack Of Exercise Lack of exercise is another cause of varicose veins, so you should exercise regularly in order to boost circulation, and strengthen the body. Certain Skin Care Routines Varicose veins might also be caused by some skin care routines. For instance, if you cut yourself while shaving, you disrupt the normal blood circulation and add pressure to the veins. To boost circulation and moisturize the skin, always rub some effective lotion on the legs. Wearing High Heels Even though walking prevents this condition, if you do it in high heels, you limit the range of the ankles and calves, and thus prevent the proper blood circulation. Crossing Your Legs This habit changes the way the blood circulates in the body and it contributes to varicose veins. Sodium Salty foods are high in sodium which leads to water retention. This adds pressure to the blood pressure and might cause enlarged veins.

♥ 3 Best Exercises For Increasing Blood Flow & Circulation To Your Legs

02:38
How I quickly improved my dad’s blood flow and circulation in only 30 days - NO drugs or diets: ►► http://drsam.co/yt/BloodFlowToLegs =============================================== Dr. Sam’s 2 Minutes To Better Health - 3 Best Exercises For Increasing Blood Flow & Circulation To Your Legs =============================================== This is important for anyone who has · leg pains or cramping · varicose or “spider” veins (or prevention) · numbing and tingling in your feet This is also very important because poor blood flow and circulation is one of the primary causes of a heart attack or stroke. This is because it can lead to Hypertension and high blood pressure Hardening and narrowing of your arteries Higher cholesterol and plaque build up Blood clots in your veins 3 Best Exercises WALKING I think walking is one of the best exercises you can do and almost anyone can do it, anywhere, any time of the day and it doesn’t cost you anything. Ideally you would walk outside in fresh air if possible. Any time of the day is fine. To start, all you need is about 15 minutes, 3x weekly. Ideally you would work up to daily walks of about 30 minutes. And if you have pain or trouble walking, even 3 minutes is a good start. Try your best to walk just a little bit more every single day. REBOUNDER A rebounder is basically a mini trampoline. I like this because it is very low impact and super easy on your joints. It also helps clean your lymph nodes, which helps prevent many cancers and illnesses. Just like walking, all you need is about 15 minutes, 3x weekly… Eventually you can work up to 20-30 minutes daily. By the way, you’re not trying to jump high on it and try to touch the ceiling. You only need to go up a few inches, a light up and down motion Just enough for your toes to be off the rebounder. Body Weight Squats This last exercise is great for building and strengthening your entire lower body … From your ankles to your leg muscles and all the way to your lower back and stomach. You can simply use your own bodyweight and do sets of about 15-25 or more repetitions. Of course, if you’re first starting out, simply doing even 2-3 comfortable repetitions is a great start. Go down as far you’re comfortable and without pain. Over time, as you get stronger and more flexible, you can do more repetitions and go deeper. You should work up to 3-4 sets, of 15 or more repetitions, 3x weekly. And if you don’t have good coordination, simply hold onto a wall or something sturdy as you squat down. What Causes Varicose Veins And How To Treat Them Naturally

03:12
Varicose veins are enlarged veins that often occur in the legs and feet. The lower body is more prone to varicose veins because standing and walking upright increases the pressure in these veins. For most people, varicose veins are a cosmetic concern. For others, they may become painful and uncomfortable. Here are 6 surprising causes of varicose veins: 1.Crossing Your Legs Crossing your legs changes the way the blood circulates throughout your body. Over time, a common habit of crossing your legs can lead to varicose veins caused by poor blood circulation. 2.Sitting for Long Periods of Time Sitting for long periods of time can lead to varicose veins. Sitting all day can cause blood to pool in your veins instead of being pumped around by the muscles, which can lead to enlarged veins. 3.Wearing High Heels Walking around can help prevent varicose veins, but the range of motion in your ankles and calves is limited in high heels. Your calf becomes stuck in a single position, which prevents blood from being properly circulated. Switch to flats every once in a while to help prevent enlarged veins. 4.Sodium Salty foods can directly impact your veins. A diet full of sodium can lead to water retention, which puts a significant amount of added pressure on your blood pressure. This can lead to enlarged veins. 5.Lack of Exercise Lack of exercise can cause blood to pool in your veins. Exercising regularly and staying active can help maintain healthy blood circulation throughout the body to prevent varicose veins. Weight training can also help strengthen your body and reduce your chances of developing varicose veins. 6. Pregnancy Pregnancy is one of the most common causes of varicose veins. During pregnancy, the amount of blood in a woman’s body increases, while the amount of blood flowing from the legs to the pelvis actually decreases. This can cause the veins in the legs to become enlarged. Traditional treatment for varicose veins tends to be quite expensive. Thankfully, there are a number of things you can try right at home to treat the condition naturally. 1st Apple Cider Vinegar The incredibly versatile liquid works to treat varicose veins thanks to its ability to remove calcium deposits in blood vessels. This corrects poor circulation, which is a byproduct of varicose veins and a major cause of the condition’s discomfort. Get some apple cider vinegar and rub it in a circular motion on the affected areas. Within two weeks, you should notice some improvement. 2nd Parsley Parsley contains lots of vitamin C and rutin. Both work to treat varicose veins by boosting cell repair capabilities and strengthening capillaries – the structures that transport blood to your veins. Get lots of parsley into your diet by juicing it. 3rd Witch Hazel Witch hazel contains tannins and antistringent (contraction-inducing) compounds that help reduce the size of varicose veins. The Epoch Times recommends getting your hands on witch hazel in liquid form. Soak a cotton sheet with the witch hazel and wrap it around the affected area. Then, lay your leg out flat in front of you. Stay like this for about a half hour. Repeat this daily. Say Goodbye To Varicose Veins Using This Juice

08:05
If you have varicose veins it doesn’t mean you can’t wear short skirts or shorts anymore! There’s a way to treat them. Varicose veins are gnarled, enlarged veins. Any vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in your legs and feet. That's because standing and walking upright increases the pressure in the veins of your lower body. Varicose veins occur when veins aren’t functioning properly. Veins have one-way valves that prevent blood from flowing backward. When these valves fail, blood begins to collect in the veins rather than continuing toward your heart. The veins then enlarge. Varicose veins often affect the legs. The veins there are the farthest from your heart, and gravity makes it harder for the blood to flow upward. A family history of varicose veins and older age increase one's tendency to develop varicose and spider veins. Other risk factors include: a sedentary lifestyle, weight gain, prolonged standing or pregnancy. There’re several natural remedies that you can probably find right in your house. All of them are helpful when treating varicose veins. Want to know all the list? Watch this video till the very end! Butcher's Broom can also be used to alleviate constipation and excess water retention. NOW Foods Butchers Broom, 100 Capsules / 200mg http://amzn.to/2y3cahi Has naturally occurring flavonoids and glycolic acid Is an evergreen shrub indigenous to Mediterranean Europe and some parts of Africa 5:1 Extract Butcher's Broom (Ruscus aculeatus) is an evergreen shrub indigenous to Mediterranean Europe and some parts of Africa. As with many herbs, it is first mentioned in the writings of the Greek physician Dioscorides and has been used extensively in traditional European medicine for centuries. Butcher's Broom has naturally occurring flavonoids and glycolic acid Butcher’s Broom, Ruscus, Varicose Veins, Inflammation, Blood Pressure, Blood Clots, Thrombosis, Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Hemorrhoids, Orthostatic Hypotension, Antimicrobial, Blood Vessels From the pharmacological point of view, the most studied Ruscus species is undoubtedly R. aculeatus (Butcher’s Broom), a very ancient therapeutic agent. Since the discovery of the vasoconstrictive and venotonic properties of ruscogenin and neoruscogenin, R. aculeatus was extensively used, especially in Germany and France, for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, haemorrhoids, and orthostatic hypotension Sapogenins isolated from R. aculeatus displayed anti-inflammatory activity Ruscogenin derivatives significantly decreased capillary permeability Patients with chronic venous insufficiency treated with Ruscus extract maintained constant venous tone and had improved venous emptying, unlike placebo-treated patients Besides studies reporting the efficacy in venous insufficiency, other studies deal with the antimicrobial activity against eight bacterial and five fungal strains, and antioxidant activity of extracts of R. aculeatus and R. hypoglossum as well as of some of its extracts (p-coumaric, caffeic acids, and rutin) have shown antioxidant, antibacterial, and antifungal activity. In some cases, this activity was better than standard drugs (streptomycin, ampicillin, bifonazole, ketoconazole) Ruscogenin has been found to exert significant anti-inflammatory and anti-thrombotic activities. Furthermore, aculeoside A exhibited inhibitory activity on cell growth of leukemia HL-60 cells Studies dealing with the pharmacological properties of R. aculeatus extracts showed that compounds exhibiting these properties were the steroidal glycosides ruscin and ruscoside and their hydrolysis products desglucoruscin, desglucodesrhamnoruscin, and desglucoruscoside.

How to Prevent Varicose Veins: Exercise, Hosiery, and More

06:10
How to Prevent Varicose Veins: Exercise, Hosiery, and More Can you prevent varicose veins? Varicose veins develop for various reasons. Risk factors include age, family history, being a woman, pregnancy, obesity, hormonal replacement or contraception therapy, prolonged sitting or standing, and others. Some of these risk factors — such as family history or age — are harder to avoid than others. But is there a way to prevent varicose veins from forming? Unfortunately, the answer is no. However, you can prevent existing varicose veins from worsening. You can also live a healthy lifestyle to delay problems with veins as long as possible. Here are a few tips. Read more: What are varicose veins? » 1. Avoid prolonged periods of sitting or standing Standing or sitting in one position for a long time makes it harder for your blood to travel in the leg veins against gravity. This causes the pressure in your veins to rise. This can eventually cause blood to pool around your ankles, and your feet and calves can get swollen and achy. Moving around will decrease the venous pressure and improve your blood circulation. If you’re stuck at a desk, do small exercises, such as: peddling your feet stretching your ankles bending your knees in a “marching-like” manner Try to elevate your legs at least three times a day, for 15 minutes at a time. Elevating your feet above the heart breaks the gravity circle. This results in better blood circulation and less ankle swelling. Check out: Stretches to do at work » 2. Wear compression hosiery Compression socks and stockings can help to keep your vein valves in the right position. This makes it easier for the veins to function properly and reduces blood pooling, swelling, and pain. You might experience fewer night cramps after wearing supportive compression during the day. There are various types of compression levels depending on how damaged your veins are. It’s a good idea to talk to your physician when choosing one of the four compression options: mild, moderate, firm, or extra firm. 3. Live a healthy lifestyle Varicose veins can develop based on risk factors that you can’t influence. This makes it important to try to practice healthy lifestyle choices to prevent more damage to your veins. Obesity, with higher pressure inside the veins, is one of the aggravating factors. Eating a healthy diet based on complex carbohydrates, a sufficient amount of protein, and healthy fats is paramount. Avoid foods high in salt, and include foods high in fiber and potassium. Drink enough water throughout the day — proper hydration means healthy blood circulation. Get tips for living a healthy lifestyle » 4. Exercise should be part of your routine The most beneficial exercise to prevent varicose veins is walking. Yoga is a good option as well. You can practice many poses that bring your feet higher than your heart. These are called inversions, and they include a headstand, shoulder stand, and Legs-Up-the-Wall Pose. Yoga can also help stretch and tone the deepest muscles in your calves and hamstrings. The deep muscles can, to a certain degree, help the vein valves work properly. Stretching and toning poses include Downward-Facing Dog Pose, most forward-bend poses, and sun salutations. Other types of beneficial exercise include cycling and swimming. Learn more: Create a fitness routine that’s full of variety » 5. Sleep positions for pregnant women Pregnancy is one of the biggest causes of varicose veins. Sleeping on your left side may help prevent varicose veins from forming and ease the symptoms of existing varicose veins. This sleeping position helps reduce the pressure that your expanding uterus puts on the big vein in your pelvic area, which is located on the middle-right side of your body. What is the outlook for varicose veins? Over time, vein valves tend to get weaker, causing varicose veins to get worse. You can’t do much about your age, gender, or family history. But following a healthy diet, getting regular exercise, staying properly hydrated, and keeping your blood pressure healthy are all aspects within your control.

Varicose Vein Radio Frequency Ablation

08:31
Education on Varicose Veins, Veins, & Venous Insufficiency by world renown vascular surgeon Mitar Vranic DO owner of Western Vascular Institute. Venous (Vein) disease treatments (Symptoms, Causes, Diagnosis, Treatment, i. Varicose Veins – Varicose Veins are more than just a cosmetic issue. These large bulging and gnarled veins can cause pain as well as blood clots, skin ulcers and other serious problems. Our body has a system of veins that carry blood from the body tissues back to your heart. Once in the heart the blood is sent to the lungs to be oxygenated then delivered to arteries which take this oxygen rich blood again throughout your body. When the system of valves within the veins become “incompetent” and no longer push the blood upward toward your heart blood begins to pool within the vein. Because many veins are near the surface of the skin the pooling of blood creates visibly full veins that push outward creating the Varicose Vein. Symptoms: Symptoms of Varicose Veins can be pain in the legs, itching, swelling, burning, leg heaviness or tiredness, & skin discoloration. Generally, symptoms worsen throughout the day (especially in hot temperature) when individuals are standing and the veins are having difficulty pumping the blood back to the heart. Causes: Varicose veins are caused by weak or damaged valves in the veins that are not able to work properly against gravity and push the blood back up to the heart. This inability of veins to function properly is called venous insufficiency and is the main problem behind varicose veins. There are several potential causes for Varicose Veins and risk factors that an individual may be more likely to get them. Risk Factors: Pregnancy, menopause age over 50, standing for long periods of time, sedentary lifestyle, obesity-which increases the pressure on the legs and makes it more difficult for the veins to pump the blood upward. Diagnosis: Will be done during a physical examination while standing with a vascular surgeon. The physicians of Western Vascular Institute will also request that you have a Doppler ultrasound scan to check the blood flow in the superficial and deep veins. Treatment: a. Compression stockings: prescription grade compression stockings usually knee-high with 20mmHg-30mmHg of compression will help relive some of the symptoms of Varicose Veins and are generally required as conservative management for a period of 3 months before more aggressive treatments are considered. b. Ablation therapy: After a 90 period if the more conservative therapy is unsuccessful at providing optimal relief ablation therapy is an option. Western Vascular Institute uses the Covidien Venefit (ClosureFast) Radio Frequency Ablation option for ablation therapy c. Ambulatory Phlebectomy – minimally invasive procedure to remove varicose veins in the legs. In this procedure a very small incision is made in the skin at the tip of the large bulging vein and the vein is pulled out through the incision. This is procedure allows for speedy recovery and very little down time. d. Sclerotherapy ( for Spider veins ) -using an ultrasound to direct the placement of a small needle the provider will inject a sclerosing agent into the spider vein that will help the vein break down naturally and be reabsorbed by the bodies natural processes. Staying Healthy: to prevent getting more varicose veins make sure to maintain a healthy weight by eating a balanced diet and exercise. Avoid wearing high heels or shoes that put undue stress on your leg muscles. Also, avoid long periods of standing or sitting.

Varicose Veins During Pregnancy Treatment

03:10
Treating Varicose Veins Naturally During Pregnancy During pregnancy, your blood volume increases, while the rate at which blood flows from your legs to your pelvis decreases. This puts pressure on the veins, which can cause varicose veins. Varicose veins are enlarged veins that commonly occur in the legs, although during pregnancy they can also appear on the buttocks and vaginal area. Hemorrhoids are another kind of varicose vein in the anus or rectum that occurs during pregnancy and is oftentimes a result of constipation. ------------------ - Click the link below & learn how to lose weight fast for women: 👉 https://bit.ly/2IkNFEE - 6 Week Pregnancy Weight Loss 👉 https://bit.ly/2IjspiW - Skin Whitening Forever 👉 https://bit.ly/2jAFpm1 ------------------ If you find the video useful, feel free to share it with your friends and family. Drink This Juice To Prevent and Treat Varicose Veins

04:12
We all know that there are no miracles when it comes to eliminating varicose veins. However, through good nutrition and exercise, we can reduce its incidence and avoid deep vein thrombosis (otherwise known as a blood clot). If your varicose veins are at a very advanced stage, be sure to speak with your doctor immediately so that he can help you find the appropriate treatment for them. But if they don’t yet require a doctor’s care, you should really know that this beet and parsley drink can be useful, whether you have simple superficial varicose veins or the deep ones. Its benefits are exceptional and very specific: it helps improve the circulation in the legs, as well as the health of the veins. Varicose veins tend to occur because of a combination of genetics and lifestyle. However, there are many ways to prevent them or at least fight against them. For example, if your mother suffers or has suffered from varicose veins, you need to consider this so you can either keep them from cropping up or getting worse. Something as simple as avoiding a sedentary lifestyle and maintaining a diet rich in antioxidants, water, fresh fruits, and vegetables can help tremendously. Among all these foods that you can consume in your everyday diet, there are two that you can’t leave out: beets and parsley. Not only will you see quick, overall health benefits through this natural drink, it’s very effective in fighting varicose veins. Beets take care of our blood vessels. If your legs have been feeling really heavy for several days, or if they are always tired and swollen, don’t hesitate to try this beet and parsley juice. Because beet juice is rich in nitrates, it improves your circulation. Natural beet juice is rich in nitrates, which open the blood vessels thanks to nitric oxide. This nitric oxide lets oxygen flow freely and lowers blood pressure. In addition, this colorful root contains betaine, a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties that also has anti-fungal properties and works to detoxify the body. The beet helps take care of the liver, giving priority to basic processes like the purification of the blood and the synthesis of certain hormones. Also, don’t forget that the magnesium present in its pulp will greatly facilitate the correct blood circulation. Parsley leaves contain two very powerful elements to reduce and treat our varicose veins: luteolin and vitamin C. These two components act as great anti-inflammatory agents that, consumed regularly, will reduce the possibility of thrombosis, as well as alleviate the swelling and weight of the legs. Parsley contains a large "arsenal" of antioxidants capable of purifying our body and maintaining blood circulation. Parsley is rich in potassium, a mineral essential for regulating blood pressure and fighting hypertension. Ingredients - 1 beet - 1 tablespoon of parsley (5 g) - 1 glass of water (200 ml) - The juice of ½ lemon Preparation Choose a medium, not overripe beet. The best way to benefit from its properties is to consume it fresh. You only have to wash it well, peel it and cut it into 4 pieces to make the process easier. Then, thoroughly wash the parsley leaves. Although they have a very strong flavor, it is worth it to include them in this natural drink to reduce the incidence of varicose veins. In the blender, just add the water, the lemon juice, the parsley and the beet. Blend well until you get a smooth drink. We recommend drinking this juice in the mornings, about three times a week. That way, our circulation and endurance will be improved, and we’ll start the day with more energy. What Causes Varicose Veins?

02:29
Get Rid of Varicose Veins: http://discoverthefacts.com/varicose What Causes Varicose Veins There are multiple varicose veins causes and it is wrong to think that this is solely a condition of old age. Varicose veins can often run in families but they are also a common affliction of shop workers and bar staff as they can caused by standing up for extended periods of time, as well as being an unwelcome side effect of pregnancy due to increased blood volume and the relaxation of vein muscle walls as a consequence of hormonal changes. In order to force blood back to the heart, our veins have a series of valves that act as a one way door that prevent the blood from responding to gravity and flowing back towards the ground to pool in our lower extremities. A varicose vein is caused when one of these valves fails, causing the blood to flow back and causing the vein walls to be stretched out of shape. What Causes Varicose Vein In Legs There are multiple varicose veins causes and it is wrong to think that this is solely a condition of old age. This occurs in the superficial veins near the surface of the skin which are the unsightly dark lumps and bumps that we associate with the condition. There are a number of factors that can increase your likelihood of developing varicose veins: You are a woman Statistically women are more likely to develop varicose veins than men, thought to be brought about by the muscle relaxing properties of female hormones. These hormones make the vein walls more likely to stretch. You work in retail or catering Chefs, waiters, bar staff and shop workers often describe varicose veins as an occupational hazard and can significantly increase your risk of developing the condition. The main common factor to all of these professions is the need to spend significant amounts of time standing up which can have a negative impact on how efficiently your circulation works. Other family members have developed them It is believed that variances in genetic makeup can tend some families towards developing varicose veins. You are overweight Excess weight makes it more difficult to your blood to circulate properly and increases the pressure on the veins which makes it much more likely that the veins will leak. It is also possible that you have higher blood pressure which also contributes towards stretching the veins and damaging the valves that are critical to preventing varicose veins. You are pregnant As previously mentioned, varicose veins are a common side effect of pregnancy for a variety of reasons. During pregnancy, the amount of blood in the body increases to support the growth of the baby which places inevitable additional strain on the circulatory system. Secondly the heightened levels of oestrogen and progesterone cause the muscle walls to relax making the veins more likely to leak. Finally around the 13 or 14 weeks of pregnancy the weight increase that is part and parcel of having a baby will again increase your chances of developing varicose veins. You are inactive Regular exercise is believed to be a significant factor in keeping varicose veins at bay as having a strong circulatory system prevents the pooling that leads to varicose veins. Some of the causes of varicose veins lie outside a persons control, however like with so many other conditions, maintaining a healthy weight and staying active can have a genuine preventative effect. Drink This Juice To Treat And Reverse Varicose Veins We all know that there are no miracles when it comes to getting rid of varicose veins. Nevertheless, you can prevent the occurrence of this condition, and of deep vein thrombosis, for instance, by following a healthy diet and exercise. If your varicose veins are at an advanced stage, don’t hesitate to contact your doctor so that he or she can examine them. Fortunately, this beet and parsley shake is useful for treating all cases of varicose veins, from spider veins to deeper varicose veins. Its benefits are definitive and exceptional. For instance, this shake can help improve blood circulation in the legs, as well as venous return. We’ll explain more about the benefits of this shake below. Beet and parsley greatly assist blood circulation Varicose veins appear mainly because of a subtle combination of our genetics and the lifestyle we maintain. However, there are many ways to combat them and prevent them from appearing. If, for example, your mother suffers or suffered from varicose veins, it’s vital that you take this fact into account in order to stop their occurrence. Something as simple as avoiding sitting down for a long time and following a diet rich in antioxidants, water and fresh fruit and vegetables can help a lot. Among all the foods that you can eat daily, there are two that you should include in your diet: beet and parsley. You can benefit from these vegetables in a simple and quick way. For instance, you can make a natural shake with these ingredients. Beets look after our blood vessels If your legs feel tired, heavy and swollen for several days, this beet and parsley shake is your solution. Beet juice is rich in nitrates, which improves blood circulation. Nitrates found in beets open up the blood vessels to allow a greater flow of oxygen to pass through, which lowers our blood pressure. This is specifically thanks to nitric oxide. Furthermore, beets also contain betalain, a powerful antioxidant which has anti-inflammatory properties that act as a fungicide. It also allows us to detox the body. Moreover, beets look after our liver, by assisting basic processes like the purification of the blood and the synthesis of certain hormones. Let’s not forget that the magnesium found in beets also helps to achieve good blood circulation and venous return. Parsley: a powerful anti-inflammatory Parsley contains two very powerful elements that reduce and treat varicose veins: luteolin and vitamin C. These two components act as great anti-inflammatory agent that reduce the occurrences of thrombosis. They also relieve swelling and heaviness in the legs, when consumed regularly. Parsley has a great “arsenal” of antioxidants capable of purifying our body and assisting good blood circulation. They also help achieve correct venous return. We also can’t forget that parsley is a food rich in potassium, an essential mineral that regulates blood pressure. Potassium can even combat high blood pressure. How to Get Rid of Varicose Veins Naturally That Really Work

05:02
How to Get Rid of Varicose Veins with 5 Natural Remedies Although we tend to think of them as a woman’s problem, both men and women develop varicose veins — those bulgy veins that appear lumpy and dark in color (usually blue or purple). In fact, according to the Department of Health and Human Science, about 50 percent to 55 percent of women and 40 percent to 45 percent of men in the U.S. suffer from some sort of vein problem, with varicose veins affecting about half of all people 50 years and older. They’re a common problem among older or pregnant women due to hormonal influences, and they tend to develop over time as someone ages and veins lose their natural elasticity due to rising levels of inflammation. Need a way to treat your varicose veins naturally? Download this free guide for five natural methods for treating varicose veins! Women are at least twice as likely as men to develop varicose veins, but people of any age and race can be affected. They’re usually most noticeable on — and therefore the biggest concern for — people with light skin. There are a number of different ways to prevent and treat varicose veins, ranging from expensive surgeries to using natural essential oils. Before turning to irritating prescription creams or expensive laser surgeries — which aren’t always effective and should really be considered last-resort options — it’s a good idea to try varicose veins home remedies first to lower the visibility of bulging veins without much risk involved. Natural Varicose Veins Treatment According to a 2012 report published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, “treatment options for varicose veins range from conservative (e.g., medications, compression stockings, lifestyle changes) to minimally invasive (e.g., sclerotherapy or endoluminal ablation), to invasive (surgical techniques), to hybrid (combination of ≥1 therapies).” A 2007 report published in the Journal of the Royal College of Surgeons of England found that nerve injuries following varicose vein surgeries are common and that more than half the patients treated will develop some recurrent varicose sites within 10 years of surgery. Varicose veins are always a symptom of an underlying venous insufficiency disorder. This is true whether or not you experiences other symptoms like pain and swelling. If you visit a dermatologist or doctor to talk about treatment options, you’ll likely be advised to make certain lifestyle modifications first, before surgery or other treatments are even considered. These can greatly help decrease blood pooling in your veins, while also offering many other perks, like more energy, clearer skin, better heart health and improved digestion. And the best part is that natural remedies pose little to no risk and are far less expensive than surgeries too. Here are five natural treatments for varicose veins: 1. Exercise Regularly getting exercise is one of the best things you can do to improve blood flow and lower inflammation, which you can add to the extensive list of exercise benefits. The National Heart, Blood and Lung Institute states that sitting (especially with poor posture — like forward head posture — or your legs crossed) or standing for long period of time without moving around much is associated with an increased risk for varicose veins and other forms of blood pooling. When you stay stagnant for too long, it’s harder for your veins to pump blood efficiently back to your heart and fight the effects of gravity. Exercise is also a great way to help balance hormones naturally, lose weight or maintain a healthy body weight, and lower blood pressure, which can all contribute to varicose veins. The Carolina Vascular Institute recommends preventing varicose veins by performing leg lifts, calf raises, bicycle legs and side lunges to strengthen and stretch the veins around the legs. Low-impact exercises, such as walking, swimming and bicycling, are also ideal for varicose vein sufferers since they alleviate pressure. If you experience pain when starting to exercise, take it slowly and try icing or heating sore muscles after a workout. You can also elevate your legs to help decrease swelling and pain, or try compression stockings to create gentle pressure up the leg that keeps blood from accumulating. 2. Maintaining a Healthy Weight People who are overweight are more likely to develop varicose veins, especially overweight women and elderly people. Carrying excess body weight puts higher amounts of pressure on your veins and can contribute to inflammation or reflux, especially in the largest superficial veins, such as the saphenous vein in the legs.

Exercises For Improving Blood Circulation In Legs

06:27
See how to dramatically and naturally, improve your blood flow and circulation in 30 days or less: ►► http://DrSam.co/yt/LegCirculationExercises-BF =============================================== Best Exercises For Increasing Blood Flow & Circulation To Your Legs & Extremities =============================================== I completely understand because my mom has had similar legs pains, but no varicose veins. Actually, my dad has the varicose veins in the family. In today’s video, I’ll quickly discuss 3 best exercises for increasing blood flow and improving circulation to your legs and your entire body. You can do them anywhere and anytime, regardless of your age or fitness level. And it will not cost you anything! Primary Cause Of Heart Attacks & Strokes Poor blood flow and circulation is one of the primary causes of a heart attack or stroke. This is because it can lead to: -Hypertension and high blood pressure -Hardening and narrowing of your arteries -Higher cholesterol and plaque build up Warning Signs Some of what “warning signs” that you may have circulation problems include Frequent pain and cramping in your legs Tingling or numbness in your feet Tired, aching or weak legs and feet Slow-healing wounds Thickened toenails Varicose and “spider” veins Why Circulation Is So Important Now, improving circulation to your legs is very important because you have to pump the blood uphill to your heart… going against gravity! When you walk, your foot and leg muscles are contracting and relaxing and basically acting like a “second heart”, to continually pump blood back up through your legs and to your heart. Unfortunately, if you are sedentary for prolonged periods of time … like sitting for too long, on a long flight or bedridden… your “second heart” is inactive and blood can gather in your veins and around your ankles and this can lead to pain in the lower legs… and worst case scenario it can lead to a life-threatening blood clot. The good news is that by performing regular leg exercises, you can promote healthy blood flow from you legs to your heart and thus, help prevent blood clots and leg pain. Exercises Walking I think walking is one of the best exercises you can do and almost anyone can do it, any where, any time of the day and it doesn’t cost you anything. Ideally you would walk outside in fresh air if possible. First thing morning and/or late evening are good times but, whenever you can is a better than nothing. To start, all you need is about 15 minutes, 3x weekly. Ideally you would work up to daily walks of about 30 minutes. And if you have pain or trouble walking, even 3 minutes is a good start. Try your best to walk just a little bit every single day. Rebounder A rebounder is basically a mini trampoline. I like this because it is very low impact and super easy on your joints. It also helps clean your lymph nodes, which helps prevent many cancers and illnesses. I put mine in front of the TV while watching a favorite show and do it for about 10-20 minutes daily. You don’t need much at all. By the way, you’re not trying to jump high on it and try to touch the ceiling. You only need to go up a few inches. Just enough for your toes to be off the roubound. It’s just a light up and down motion. Again, almost anyone can do it, any time and anyplace. You can even travel with it. Body Weight Squats This last exercise is great for building and strengthening your entire lower body … From your ankles to your leg muscles and all the way to your lower back and stomach. You can simply use your own bodyweight and do sets of about 15-20 repetitions. Of course, if you’re first starting out, simply doing even 2-3 comfortable repetitions is a great start. Go down as far your comfortable and without pain. Over time, as you get stronger and more flexible, you can do more repetitions and go deeper. Ideally, you would do maybe 1 set of 15 or more repetition, 2-3x daily. Maybe in the morning, noon and night time. More often and throughout the day helps keep the blood flow regular and continuous. And if you don’t have good coordination, simply hold onto a wall or something sturdy as you squat down. Summary Poor blood flow is bad for your health, if affects your entire body. The best exercises for improved circulation, especially to your legs is: -Daily walking -Using a rebounder -Bodyweight squats Click here: ►http://drsam.co/yt/legcirculationexercises-bf ================================================================================ Thank you for watching. Varicose Veins - Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

04:38
Varicose veins are gnarled, enlarged veins. Any vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in your legs and feet. That's because standing and walking upright increases the pressure in the veins of your lower body. For many people, varicose veins and spider veins — a common, mild variation of varicose veins — are simply a cosmetic concern. For other people, varicose veins can cause aching pain and discomfort. Sometimes varicose veins lead to more-serious problems. Varicose veins may also signal a higher risk of other circulatory problems. Treatment may involve self-care measures or procedures by your doctor to close or remove veins. Many theories exist for why varicosities occur in veins, but the consensus is that defective/damaged valves within the veins are the cause. Valves prevent backward flow of blood within the vein. They keep blood in the vein moving toward the heart. It is unclear what causes the valves to work less efficiently. Some experts think inherited problems cause some people to have too few valves or valves that do not function properly. Some people may be born with abnormalities of the vein wall. The resulting weakness may predispose the valves to separate and become leaky. The result is that when a person with poorly functioning valves stands up, the blood flow actually reverses and flows down the superficial veins, when it should be flowing up, toward the heart. Symptoms of varicose veins. In the majority of cases, there is no pain, but signs and symptoms of varicose veins may include: Veins look twisted, swollen, and lumpy (bulging). The veins are blue or dark purple. Some patients may also experience: Aching legs. Legs feel heavy, especially after exercise or at night. A minor injury to the affected area may result in longer bleeding than normal. Lipodermatosclerosis - fat under the skin just above the ankle can become hard, resulting in the the skin shrinking. Swollen ankles. Telangiectasia in the affected leg (spider veins). There may be a shiny skin discoloration near the varicose veins, usually brownish or blue in color. Venous eczema (stasis dermatitis) - skin in the affected area is red, dry, and itchy When suddenly standing up, some individuals experience leg cramps. A high percentage of people with varicose veins also have restless legs syndrome. Atrophie blanche - irregular whitish patches that look like scars appear at the ankles. Varicose veins can appear in various parts of the body, including: Legs (most common). Rectum. Pelvis. Vagina. Uterus (womb). Esophagus. Treating varicose veins. For most people, varicose veins don't present a serious health problem. They may have an unpleasant appearance, but should not affect circulation or cause long-term health problems. Most varicose veins don't require any treatment. If treatment is necessary, your doctor may first recommend up to six months of using compression stockings, taking regular exercise and elevating the affected area when resting. If your varicose veins are still causing you pain or discomfort – or they cause complications – they can be treated in several ways, the most common being: endothermal ablation – treatment where heat is used to seal affected veins. sclerotherapy – this uses special foam to close the veins. ligation and stripping – this involves surgery to remove the affected veins. ♥ What Causes Poor Blood Flow & Circulation In Your Body

05:15
How I quickly improved my dad’s blood flow and circulation in only 30 days - NO drugs or diets: ►► http://drsam.co/yt/BloodFlowSolution =============================================== What Causes Poor Blood Flow & Circulation =============================================== Today’s question is from Mrs Wilson and she asks, “What really causes poor circulation?” What’s important to know is that poor circulation isn’t a “condition” itself. It’s the result of OTHER health issues. Poor blood flow and circulation is one of the primary causes of a heart attack or stroke. This is because it can lead to Hypertension and high blood pressure Hardening and narrowing of your arteries Higher cholesterol and plaque build up The good news is that this can be reversed and avoided naturally, without prescription medications, crazy diets or exercise. And I’ll reveal to you how in a minute… Because this is exactly the problem my dad has had for many years. In fact, he had a stroke a few years ago and why I’m making this video… To help you avoid the mistakes, pain and suffering that we had to go through. But let’s first talk about... Warning Signs Some of what “warning signs” that you may have circulation problems include2 Frequent pain and cramping in your legs Tingling or numbness in your hands and/or feet Tired, aching or weak legs and feet Slow-healing wounds Thickened toenails Varicose and “spider” veins Cold hands Causes of Poor Circulation There are several different causes of poor circulation1, but here are the top 5: Peripheral artery disease Peripheral artery disease (PAD) can lead to poor circulation in your legs and it generally affects people over the age of 50. PAD is a circulatory condition that causes narrowing of your blood vessels and arteries. Which eventually decreases blood flow to your extremities and can result in pain… but more importantly can cause a heart attack or stroke. Blood clots Blood clots block the flow of blood, either partially or entirely. They can develop almost anywhere in your body… but a blood clot that develops in your arms or legs can lead to circulation problems. Varicose veins Varicose veins are enlarged veins caused by valve failure. They’re most often found on your legs. These damaged veins can’t move blood as efficiently as other veins, so poor circulation can become a problem. Your genes largely determine whether or not you’ll develop varicose veins. Secondary is a change in your hormones due to aging. This is why women are more likely to develop them, especially after menopause… As are people who are overweight or obese. Diabetes You may think diabetes only affects your blood sugar… but it can also cause poor circulation throughout your body. People with advanced diabetes may have difficulty detecting the signs of poor circulation. This is because diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage caused by prolonged exposure to high blood sugar 3) … can cause reduced sensation in your extremities and feel similar to poor circulation. People with diabetes are also at an increased risk for Atherosclerosis high blood pressure heart disease. Obesity Of course, carrying around extra pounds puts a burden on your body. If you’re overweight, sitting or standing for hours, will eventually lead to circulation problems. Being overweight also puts you at an increased risk for many other causes of poor circulation... including diabetes, varicose veins and blood vessel problems. I'm pregnant and have varicose veins on my vagina. Is this normal? Will it affect labor?

02:02
There are some women that notice that they might have an increased feeling of pressure, or even have pain in their vaginal area. And this can be due to vulvar varicosities, or varicose veins on the vulva or the area outside of the vaginal opening. Sometimes they can even look like worms, and this can be very concerning to a woman, but really, they're very common during pregnancy. And it's caused by the increased pressure that you have in your pelvic area because of the growing baby and uterus. It affects blood-flow from your legs back to your heart, and it can make it a little more sluggish, and blood can accumulate in these vessels and cause the varicose veins. Some women don't even know that they have them, and their doctor might tell them that they exist, and then when other women come into their doctor's appointments complaining of pain and discomfort down there, and then the doctor takes a look and tells them that they have varicose veins. Now the good news is that it won't affect your mode of delivery. A woman doesn't have to have a C-section because she has them. So that's good news. But in the meantime, how do you deal with them? Longs periods of standing can aggravate it because it increases pressure, so if you're planning on having to stand for a long time, also plan breaks so that you can give yourself a rest and take the pressure off. Swimming can help because it does this too. It lifts everything up, and makes it more buoyant, and can increase blood-flow through the pelvis, and reduce discomfort for a temporary period of time. You might also try an ice pack for 5 to 10 minutes a few times during the day and see if that makes a difference, because ice numbs the area. It can feel like you're putting out a fire if you're having burning from them, and reduce the amount of discomfort you feel from inflammation. Talk with your doctor about your case if you're concerned, and they can give you more information based on their knowledge of your situation. And if you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/IntermountainMoms, and recommend us to your friends and family too.
