The Sun Doesn't Cause Skin Cancer, But Sunscreen Does!
Lack of sunshine causes skin cancer, according to Andreas Moritz. In this video from 2009, he explains why being in the sun is actually good for you and your skin. Find out why your sunscreen is doing more harm than good. Also, you need vitamin D to prevent cancer, and sunscreen may interfere with your exposure to vitamin D from the sun. http://www.ihealthtube.com

Why do we have to wear sunscreen? - Kevin P. Boyd
View full lesson: http://ed.ted.com/lessons/why-do-we-have-to-wear-sunscreen-kevin-p-boyd You already know that a trip to the beach can give you a nasty sunburn, but the nitty gritty of sun safety is actually much more complex. Wrinkle-causing UVA rays and burn-inducing UVB's can pose a serious risk to your health (and good looks). So what can you do? Kevin P. Boyd makes the case to slap on some physical or chemical SPF daily. Lesson by Kevin P. Boyd, animation by Andrew Foerster.

Avoid skin Cancer, Sunscreen Causes Cancer, Use Organic Sun protection
Lack of sunshine causes skin cancer. The sun provides vitamin D which helps prevent skin cancer is blocked with UVA/UVB protection. Avoid burning!!! Best way is to gradually increase sun exposure until you tan. There is an increase in UVA/UVB sun in places riding on the equator and they don't have skin cancer in those places. Dozens of chemicals are packed into over the counter FDA approved sunscreens that have charceinogens. These chemicals if found in any of our packaged food products would be band off the market so why is it ok to be on our skin which gets absorbed into the body and goes straight to our liver?! The leading cause of skin cancers are sunscreens themselves!! Wait up to 48 hours after sun exposure to wash your body with soap so the vitamin D has time to absorb into our body for protection, it's fine to wash your goods and under your arms. I have 5 sunscreens available to buy and will ship immediately. We want good nights sleep to increase the night hormone melatonin best times are between 9:30pm-1am. My organic sunscreen only uses Zinc Oxide and all natural burn repellents. Here is the link that list most chemicals to stay away from. http://www.ewg.org/sunscreen/report/the-trouble-with-sunscreen-chemicals/ Make your coaching appointment now if you would like to work with me in your journey and learn a little about your astrological birth chart and where the energy is directly affecting you. Is Your Sunscreen Killing Coral? The Science | Lab Muffin Beauty Science
You might have seen that Hawaii has banned certain sunscreens that have been linked to coral bleaching. In particular, it's the organic "chemical" sunscreen ingredients oxybenzone and octinoxate that have been banned. It sounds like a great victory for the environment, right? But if you search a little past the headlines, you'll find that there are actually a lot of coral experts and marine ecologists who aren't happy with the decision. Why is that? To find out, let's look at the science behind sunscreen and its effects on coral. In this video: * What is coral bleaching? * What do the studies say about sunscreens and coral bleaching? * Is this what happens in real life? * What else causes coral bleaching? * What can you do to help? FREE EBOOKLET http://www.sweetnaturalliving.com There's a few things in life that just about everyone loves. Sunshine is one of them. Yet there's so much fear regarding the sun. People are scared of the UV rays and there are people saying sun exposure causes skin cancer. Here's how to avoid getting a sunburn, while still enjoying the healing benefits of sunshine - no sunscreen needed! Think about it, how can the sun, the energy source of all life on this planet, be harmful to us? It's absurd. Sure, you can have too much sunlight, and that's no good, and herein lies the key to the whole issue. Too much or too little is never the best, what we want is just enough. We want just the right amount. This is true whether we are talking about eating, working, tanning or anything else. How to get enough sun exposure while avoiding getting burnt? It's all about listening to the body. We all love the feeling of the sun kissing our bodies with it's warm, healing rays. So enjoy, but pay attention! Soon enough you will notice an urge to retreat to the shade again, so do that. As you expose yourself to the UV radiation of the sun, you will build up a tolerance to it as your skin adapts to a higher level of exposure. The visual effects of this is getting a tan. The more of a tan you got going, the longer you can stay out without burning. Sunscreen, sunblock and sun lotions are all unhealthy products that you don't want to put on your skin. They are full of chemicals that are toxic to the body and will only serve to pollute your system. It also "allows" people to stay out in the sun for longer periods than what is truly healthy, much better to allow the skin to slowly adapt and build up a tolerance over time. Patience is needed. Granted, in extreme conditions like climbing a mountain or running an ultra marathon there's probably a place for a little bit of sun cream, but technically those activities aren't directly healthy in the first place. Different skin types react to sun exposure in different ways and tanning may happen faster or slower. People with a fair, northern skin should exercise extra caution when slowly building their tan whereas black people are able to stay exposed for much longer periods without getting sunburnt. Another important factor is to stay hydrated. This is best done through eating a healthy raw vegan diet of fresh fruits and vegetables that provide your with quality water and nutrients while avoiding foods that dehydrate you! Remember, human beings are frugivores by nature and our anatomy and physiology dictates a diet based on ripe, tropical fruits and tender vegetables. The raw food diet is the norm in nature! Sunscreen Works, If You Use it Right
Thanks to Audible.com for supporting this episode of Healthcare Triage. You can download a free audio book of your choice at Audible.com: http://www.audible.com/triage When I was a kid, I remember people talking about putting on suntan lotion to help them absorb the sun's rays. Those days are over. Too much sun can be terrible for you. Besides the fact that it significantly increases the risk of skin cancer, the sun will age your skin and make you look older, too. Who wants that? Today, we use sunscreen to protect us from the sun. But most of us are doing it wrong. How so? Watch and learn. From the research I have done, there are specific measurements to get the proper amount of SPF listed on your sunscreen bottle, tube, etc. I have read that we need to apply around 2mg/cm2. And in this video I will..... NOT be figuring out that calculation. LOL But I will show you that it breaks down to approximately 1/2 teaspoon per many guidelines. This would also vary depending on the TYPE of sunscreen you use. Remember PHYSICAL /MINERAL sunscreens basically just skin on the skin and provide a PHYSICAL barrier and they block the harmful rays of the sun. CHEMICAL sunscreens penetrate into your skin and absorb the harmful rays. SO physical sunscreens work immediately and should be applied as your LAST STEP in your skincare routine. Chemical sunscreens absorb into the skin and I'm still not sure if they need to be the very 1st step in your skincare routine after washing your face or still the very last after you've applied your serums and moisturizer. It would make sense that chemical sunscreens should be the very 1st step since they absorb and if you apply other serums or lotions 1st, then how can the chemicals absorb properly? But I have read also that chemical sunscreens still need to be applied last. Not real sure since many experts differ in opinion, but I usually use a physical sunscreen anyways. But to protect your skin the best, check with your dermatologist or expert. Everyone's skin is different. Here is the website that I mention in my video that teaches you how to use the proper formula to apply sunscreen. https://www.futurederm.com/how-much-exactly-is-2-0-mgcm2-the-amount-of-sunscreen-necessary-to-achieve-the-labeled-spf-rating/ If any of you try it, let me know how much you end up needing to apply. Dangers of Commercial Sun block
Natural sunblock. Can you get all natural sunblock in stores? It's hard to find with commercial sun block and chemical sunblock. I'll tell you what to look for. But what's wrong with most commercial sunscreen? Since we don't consume sunscreens there is a lot less regulation allowing companies to put whatever they want in it and many of the toxic ingredients in there ironically have been proven to cause cancer. --------------------- Visit Bill Farr on 🌺 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theartofunity/ 🌺 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theartofunity 🌺 Twitter https://twitter.com/BillyFarr 🌺 Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/TheArtofUnity/ 🌺 Google+: https://plus.google.com/+Theartofunity 💜 SUBSCRIBE on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/c/theartofunity?sub_confirmation=1 ---------------------- But just so you know the sun is not the cancer-causing demon these commercial companies would have you believe, The sun provides that best source of vitamin d you can get. This vitamin D is helpful in the fight against cancer. And so you know, Since the angle of the rays makes a difference, the ideal time to get vitamin d is usually between the hours of 11:30 and 1pm. In the blog, I will have a video showing when is the best time based on your region. And you need to expose about 80% of your skin for about 15 minutes on each side. After that, your skin can run the risk of damage because like anything else too much of it can be dangerous. I don’t often use sunblock or screen because I don't spend much more time than that in the sun and I mostly use coconut oil that is said to have an SPF of 4 by itself and has been used for thousands of years by indigenous Pacific islanders. I also take zinc and astaxanthin and vitamin e supplements which is like a sunscreen protecting you from the inside out. They also help against radiation and I’ll have links for the brands I like and more info about that in the blog . When buying sunscreen it is important to understand uva and uvb rays. UVA rays are primarily responsible for skin damage from excessive sun exposure that can lead to cancer and skin aging. The UVB on the other hand are responsible for cancer protection and obtaining vitamin d through your skin. But it’s also important to understand that almost all Commercial Sunscreens are full of toxic cancer causing ingredients that you should never put on your skin. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG) approximately 75% of commercial sunscreens contain toxic chemicals that are linked to cancer and disrupt hormones. In the blog associated with this video, I’m going to have a list of ingredients to avoid in sunscreen, but as a rule if you can’t pronounce it, and wouldn’t eat it, than avoid it. you also want to watch out for nano particles because these go directly into your pores and travel in your bloodstream. So always get non-nano. So stop eating these and get on healthy fats and you’ll notice a dramatic difference in your skin for the better. List of Unsafe, Toxic Chemicals in Sunscreen • Para amino benzoic acid • Octyl salicyclate • Oxybenzone • Cinoxate • Dioxybenzone • Phenylbenzimidazole • Homosalate • Menthyl anthranilate • Octocrylene • Methoxycinnamate • Parabens For the full blog click this link: https://theartofunity.com/benefits-of-the-sun/ ☀️ Official Website: https://theartofunity.com/ 💜Meditations - https://theartofunity.com/meditations/ 💜Chi Gong - https://theartofunity.com/chigong/ Videos on #spirituality, #consciousness, #meditation, #mindfulness, #health and much more. Sunscreen To Prevent Skin Cancer Flies In The Face Of Science Of Evolution
An article is making the rounds that claims to "Blow The Lid" on the relationship between cancer and sunscreen use. My opinion is that using sunscreen so that you can remain in the sun for unnatural amounts of time goes contrary to the evolution of our species because sunscreen blocks the creation of the body's very own protective measures against damage from the sun: Vitamin D. Here is a link to the article if you want to check it out: http://www.realfarmacy.com/scientists-blow-the-lid-on-cancer-sunscreen-myth/

Skin Cancer Awareness! Favorite SPF Products and My Mom's Diagnosis
May is Skin Cancer Awareness month, so my friend Amber (a.k.a Anti Aging Amber) and I decided to collaborate on a video discussing the importance of wearing SPF on a daily basis, and getting your skin checked for irregular moles yearly. I want to thank my mom for sharing her story of being diagnosed with malignant melanoma last year. Malignant melanoma is the deadliest form of cancer, but if caught in the early stages, has a 99% 5 year survival rate. If the melanoma has spread, there is only a 20% survival rate. DO NOT WAIT to get a mole check. If my mom had waited she might not have been here to do this video with me. Hey, gorgeous so today I am going to show you just how much sunscreen is necessary to protect your skin from sun damage, skin cancer and discoloration. How to apply enough sunscreen to your face so you get the best protection: 1. Apply a quarter size amount or more into hands. 2. Then rub hands together and press onto face. You should look like you have a white mask on. 3. Allow sunscreen to soak in for five minutes. 4. Wide Mouth Half Pint Jar- https://amzn.to/2Kg2OoY Wide Mouth Plastic Lids- https://amzn.to/2FhvmuH Everyone has heard that sunscreen prevents skin cancer. Some research suggests, though, that the chemicals found in conventional sunscreen actually do more to cause cancer than to prevent it. Not only do the chemicals absorb into the skin and interfere with our hormones, sunscreen blocks the Vitamin D from the sun, which our bodies rely on to support immune function that keep degenerative diseases, like cancer, at bay. Vitamin D is one of the most common deficiencies in our country, and most people are coming up short. Basking in the sun, during the hours which it is not at its peak, is actually a very healthy practice to keep our vitamin D at healthy levels. Unless we are going to be at the beach all day, during the hottest hours, I skip the sunscreen all together. However, burns are not a good idea, so if we are going out for several hours during peak exposure, I keep this healthy homemade version handy. For this recipe you will need: 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup shea butter 1/4 cup beeswax 1/4 coconut oil 1/4 cup non-nano zinc oxide 1/4 cup cocoa butter, optional 10 drops lavender essential oil Put all ingredients, except zinc oxide and lavender essential oil, in a glass bowl and place over a pot with a little boiling water in the bottom. Heat until melted. Allow to cool before adding in zinc oxide and lavender. Whisk in the remaining ingredients. I just left mine out on the counter for a few hours, going over occasionally to give it a whisk. This gave it a whipped effect without me actually having to use my mixer. Try to use as few dishes as possible because this stuff is very water resistant and hard to clean. Its great when your kids jumps in the pool and it doesn’t wash right off, but not so great when you are making a batch. It smells oh so lovely. Enjoy! Sunscreen Ingredients & Is Sunscreen Safe? Dr Barry Lycka video
http://www.yourcosmeticdoctor.tv Sunscreen Ingredients & Is Sunscreen Safe? Dr Barry Lycka video answers FAQ's about sunscreen ingredients, sunscreen safety, sunscreen & cancer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnZ8vnV_P2U Today we are going to talk about sunscreens and sunscreen safety. A question I was asked very recently, Are Sunscreens Dangerous? Is sunscreen safe? Hi I'm Dr Barry Lycka, host of Inside Cosmetic Surgery Today at webtalkradio.net and yourcosmeticdoctor.tv So Is Sunscreen Safe? Well a lot of this mis-information has come from some organisations in the United States, who say that putting on a sunscreen makes you stay outside longer than you should and therefore get burned. Well guess what? You should be wise in the sun, you shouldn't use a sunscreen all by itself. You should stay out of the sun at the times when the sun is brightest, from noon until about 4pm. You should stay out of the sun when its the hottest. Plus you should seek shade, wear protective clothing. And are there ingredients in sunscreens that used to be harmful? Well current sunscreen ingredients are well tested, they have stood the test of time, and we know that they work well. There is one misinterpretation, and that is attached to a chemical called Retinol. Retinol has been used by a lot of people and there is one study where it was used on nude mice which caused the mice to get cancer. BUT these mice had to be literally bathed in this material and at rates that were 10 to 100 times more than we would EVER put on the skin. Now anything that you put on the skin at strengths of 10 or 100 times more powerful than normal will cause problems, so I don't think that at the rate we use it it is a problem whatsoever. So are sunscreens safe? YES THEY ARE. They are much better than NOT using them. You most certainly need to be taking care of your skin. And if you have any questions, please be sure to drop me a line, I'll answer your questions as soon as I can. Please use this link to send me your question http://yourcosmeticdoctor.tv/get-your-question-answered/ I'm Dr Barry Lycka - talk to you soon !

6 Tips How To Choose A Safe Sunscreen
http://www.carolinekonline.com/how-to-choose-a-safe-sunscreen/ Summer is just around the corner, it’s a wonderful time to spend more time outdoors, to have picnics and go to the beach! It’s healthy to spend more time outdoors, and it’s also important that we spend some time in the sun every day, because our bodies need the sun to produce vitamin D3. Vitamin D is important for many things, it’s necessary for a good immune system, for our bone and muscle strength, cardiovascular health, strong teeth, and even to prevent cancer. However, there are a lot of warnings in media about the risk of getting skin cancer from the sun…. And yes, of course it’s not healthy to stay in the sun for a long period of time – and it’s definitely dangerous to get a sunburn. Therefore, you have to be smart about it. You have to make sure you get a healthy dose of sun every day so you can get the benefits from it, but you must also make sure not to damage your skin. If you’re going to the beach and you want some sun tan, you should use a sunscreen so that you don’t get sunburned. But be careful about what sunscreen you put on your skin, and even more important, your kids’ skin… Because there are studies pointing to that the main reason for the scary increase of skin cancer is not the sun, but the sunscreens….! Some sunscreens contain potentially harmful ingredients. A study published in Environmental Science Technology showed e.g. that the common sunscreen ingredients oxybenzone, methoxycinnamate, and PABA are estrogenic chemicals linked to cancer. Here are 6 tips about sunscreens: How to choose a SAFE sunscreen and avoid potentially health damaging ingredients 1) Check out EWG latest guide on safe sunscreens. Before you go and buy a sunscreen, you should check out the Environmental Working Group (EWG) annual guide to sunscreens. 2) Make sure your sunscreen protects against both UVA and UVB rays The UVA rays penetrate the skin deeper than UVB, they also destroy vitamin D! So you definitely don’t want a sunscreen that blocks only UVB rays and not UVA rays. This would totally work against you by limiting vitamin D3 production and damaging your skin. 3) Choose sunscreens with max. 30 SPF The SPF factor tells you only how much the sunscreen is blocking the sun’s UVB rays, not the UVA rays. And since UVA rays don’t burn your skin as fast as UVB, you may be staying too long in the sun – without knowing it. So even if you don’t actually notice it on your skin, your skin may be damaged from the UVA rays. 4) Choose a sunscreen without harmful chemicals Mass market sunscreens are full of harmful chemicals that may disrupt hormones and even promote cancer. Researchers at the University of California discovered that the chemical oxybenzone, a common ingredient in sunscreens to absorb UVA and UVB, boosts the production of dangerous free radicals in your skin after just 20 minutes of exposure to the sun! 5) Avoid using spray-on sunscreens (aerosol) The problem is that aerosol sunscreens can be inhaled during application. Both the chemicals and the nano-particles of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide (found safe in other forms) worry scientists, who say that these particles are easily ingested. These particles can penetrate lung or skin tissue into the bloodstream, and may then cause severe organ damage. 6) Use sun protection with low SPF most of the time and sun protection with a high SPF occasionally If you use sunscreen with high SPF all the time, there is a potential risk of vitamin D3 deficiency. Typical use of sunscreen doesn’t result in vitamin D3 deficiency, but extensive usage may. And vitamin D deficiency may increase your odds of developing melanoma and other diseases. So these are my 6 tips for choosing safe sunscreen AND still getting enough vitamin D from the sun! Today's Alternative News Channel - HOW SUNSCREEN COULD BE CAUSING SKIN CANCER, NOT THE SUN Summer may be a long way off, but it’s never too early to start thinking about protecting your skin. For most people, this means covering themselves in sunscreen, which corporate marketing campaigns encourage at every turn. Yet, while we do indeed need protection to prevent sunburns, blocking out the sun entirely is not ideal. Rich in vitamin D, it offers a number of other health benefits, including, oddly enough, cancer prevention. We’ve been made to fear the sun, and, as a result, adults and children are choosing to drench themselves in a bath of toxic, hormone-disrupting chemicals. Science has long shown that what we put on our skin ends up in our bodies, and quickly. Multiple studies from across the world have examined sunscreen in particular, evaluating its ingredients and how it penetrates and absorbs into the skin after application. One study, conducted at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba, Canada, sought to develop a method for quantifying common sunscreen agents. Results demonstrated a significant penetration of all sunscreen agents into the skin, meaning all of these chemicals are entering multiple tissues within the body. Conversely, a study published in Environmental Health Perspectives showed a significant drop in hormone-disrupting chemicals that are commonly found in personal care products after participants switched to ‘cleaner’ products. These chemicals include oxybenzone, triclosan, parabens, phthalates, and more. You can read more about that and access the study here. All of these ingredients are found within most poplar sunscreens. So, the next question becomes, are the ingredients used to make sunscreen, which are entering into our bloodstream, something to be concerned about? The science given to us by the corporations who profit from the sale of sunscreen says no, but I think by now we have established how trustworthy such corporately-funded ‘science’ is. It wasn’t long ago that Johnson & Johnson, for example, was found guilty of knowingly putting a cancer-causing baby powder on the market. This is precisely why we wanted to bring attention to an article published by the Huffington Post titled “Excuse Me While I Lather My Child In This Toxic Death Cream.” In it, mother Sarah Kallies shares how exhausted she feels trying to navigate today’s world and do the best for her children when everything, everywhere, seems to be killing us. For every purchase she makes for her children, there is science telling her it’s great on the one hand and toxic on the other, and so she highlights how confusing the consumer marketplace has become. We are dished a wealth of information that differs from source to source, on a variety of different topics, making it difficult to make even the simplest of choices without second-guessing ourselves. Yet we know the various chemicals found within sunscreens are toxic, and we know that our skin absorbs whatever we put onto it. Best Natural Sunscreen | DIY How-To from Sundance Vacations
Looking for a natural sunscreen or DIY sunblock that’s chemical free and organic? Sundance Vacations has the BEST NATURAL SUNSCREEN for you! Check out the step-by-step process here: https://sundancevacationsnews.com/latest-news/make-sunscreen-next-trip/ This ORGANIC homemade sunscreen uses zinc oxide as its active SPF ingredient to make your own safe sunscreen for day-to-day wear and gives you about a 25-30 sun protection rating. This natural sunblock recipe has only four simple all natural ingredients: organic coconut oil, organic avocado oil, organic shea butter, and the mineral zinc oxide. These all natural ingredients make this do-it-yourself sunblock better than most brands on the market for your skin- Jenn even claims this to be the best face sunscreen! She’s here to tell you all about the SPF rating and explain the difference between a physical or mineral sunscreen verses most chemical based sunscreens for sale at the store. Do you know what’s in your sunscreen? Well you will if you make this zinc oxide sunblock! Some people may ask what is the best sunscreen for babies? Sundance Vacations does not suggest using this sunblock on infants because we recommend you keep them out of the sun! If you take your child to the beach for a few hours, please follow Jenn’s instructions for increasing the SPF rating of a natural, homemade sunscreen. She’s also got some great sun protection tips and facts about each product used in the this recipe. MAKE YOUR OWN SUNSCREEN! It is a healthy alternative to purchasing chemical-packed sunblock from the store and is non-toxic. It only uses natural oils, lotions, and minerals that you trust. It’s non-greasy too and covers a whole lot better than sunscreen spray that leaves blotchy sunburns. Sunscreens with zinc oxide allow you to adjust how strong you want the SPF rating to be, so whether you want a day-to-day sunblock like this natural sunscreen recipe or if you want a 40 or 50 SPF for a long day in the sunshine, you can adjust the ratios to make a custom homemade recipe unique to you! Many trusted brands such as Badger Balm use zinc oxide in their lotion recipes. Baby, does this stuff work differently than other sunblocks! The naturally hydrating vitamins and fatty acids found in avocados and coconuts as well as from the shea nuts in the butter, are going to moisturize much like a lotion. You are going to have the best time knowing you don’t need to worry about getting burned. Be sure to ask any questions in the comments below and Jenn from Sundance Vacations will get back to you to help you make your own sunscreen perfect for you. Be a DIY beauty queen! SPF Basics | Men's Guide To Sunscreen
Summer's back and so is Varun to talk to you about the most important thing you can ever use for your skin- sunscreen! Over-exposure to the sun can cause a variety of serious health issues from damaged skin and hair, to serious outcomes like skin cancer. Here are three things to keep in mind while applying sunscreen 1) Apply sunscreen on all parts of the body that are going to get exposed to the sun 2) Apply sunscreen at least 10-15 minutes before you step out. 3) Look for sunscreens that protect against both UVA and UVB rays - also called broad spectrum sunscreen. .............................................. My stance on "chemicals" in skin care overall: If you are worried about chemicals, first learn what a chemical is. Water is a chemical. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are chemicals. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is a chemical. If you want to argue against a specific chemical, call it by name instead of saying you believe in "avoiding chemicals". Second, what you eat is infinitely more important than what you put on your skin because of how the skin and digestive tract function, so if you are concerned about your health, I would recommend focusing on that. Ultimately, it's your body. Do whatever you want with it. You don't need my permission to use or avoid anything, but if you spread misinformation on my channel or on my facebook page, my response will be blunt and unsupportive. To those who vehemently agree with the negative opinions of sunscreen: If you disagree with me and would like to share a different point of view, my response will be proportionate to the level of respect you show in your comment and the degree of reason in your claims. If you're being nasty and/or attack me personally, expect a brutal response. I've already gotten a lot of comments over the years about sunscreens and other "evil chemicals" that are little more than personal attacks against me, and I'm sick of it. Put your feelings away and focus on sharing good information. If new scientific information emerges that supports your position, how either of us *feels* about the matter becomes completely irrelevant. That's the point of science. To everyone else, I encourage you to consider both sides and follow your best judgment on the subject. You are the boss of you. And just as an aside, the Environmental Working Group website is garbage, and I do not recommend that anyone use it as a source of information. What they do is not science. Choose best sunscreen for your skin || Sunscreen selection according to skin type, SPF, ingredients
The link of the video explaining the importance of sunscreen and tbings to consider while buying sunscreen for your face is below https://youtu.be/8oizYk_WQCc Following are the things which we consider while choosing sunscreen for your skin type 1. Type of product :- There are variety of sunscreen such as cream , powder, stick , spray etc but you should choose cream sunscreen as others are mineral based and can cause serious heat disease 2. Type of your skin :- If you have dry skin or normal skin then you should choose oil based sunscreen If you have oily or acne prone skin then you should choose water based sunscreen in order to prevent ugly breakouts 3. High spf:- Spf of sunscreen ideally ranges between 15 to 50 but perfect protection comes from sunscreen having spf 30 or 50 . It reduces the chances of getting sunburn and protection from skin cancer Spf that is sun protection factor . It means how long sunscreen will protect you from ultraviolet UVB rays which damages outer layer of skin Spf 30 means it will allow you to stay in sun 30 times longer than you could without protection 4.Broad specturm protection :- UVA and UVB rays when goes deep into the skin gives various signs of premature ageing , wrinkles , age spots , saggy skin UVB gives sunburn ,suntan and skin cancer So find sunscreen that gives broad specturm protection and stay worry free 5.resustance to water and sweat :- Those who sweat a lot should seek a water resistance sunscreen . Water resistance sunscreen are not water proof at all you need to reapply it every couple of hours 6.presence of harmful chemicals :- There are some sunscreen which contain harmful chemical componds such as retynil palmitate, oxybenzone ,parabens even this ingredients can block uv rays efficiently but if they enter our bloodstream can cause severe effects on our health . Check this compounds and avoid product containing this compounds 7.Presence of alcohol and fragrance :- It can cause skin allergies so stay away from sunscreen havung fragrace and alcohol 8.Presence of cheap ingredients :- Zinc oxide and titanium oxide this can give you bad appearance Check this while buying sunscreen Summer is coming and we need to prepare ourself to face the hot sun during summer. In this video I have mentioned various important factor the you must consider while buying a sunscreen lotion. Skin is largest part of body and in summer we have to protect our skin from sun rays so that skin do not get burnt

Sunscreen is Blocking your Vitamin D Production ☀️ Try These Natural Alternatives to Sunscreen
☀️Sunscreen Alternatives ☀️After Sun Lotion ☀️Sunburn Remedies☀️ We have been told that sunscreen should be the go-to method of protection against sunburns and skin cancer. However, most conventional sunscreens block our ability to absorb Vitamin D. According to health experts sunscreens containing SPF 15 or higher diminished vitamin D production by 99 percent. Our bodies need vitamin D for healthy bones, a strong heart, and a healthy immune system. Please watch my video linked above on Vitamin D Insufficiency. Sunscreen also contains chemicals that can penetrate the skin and disrupt hormones. There are natural ways, to protect our skin yet still get the sunshine we need. First and foremost, we should do what our grandparents knew well, which is cover up. Clothes are the best sun block. They absorb or reflect sunlight and keep your skin safe. However, this is not always feasible, especially when you are at the beach. Eating foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids helps protect your skin from damage, including UV damage. Be sure to consume foods that are naturally high in antioxidants like vitamin C (found in many fruits), Vitamin E (found in nuts and seeds) and Astaxanthin (a naturally-occurring carotenoid found in shrimp, lobster, crab and salmon), which can help with natural sunburn resistance. Carrot seed oil and red raspberry seed oil have natural SPF protection and are great natural alternatives to commercial sunscreen. Carrot seed oil contains a high amount of Vitamin A and beta carotene, which are antioxidants that shield the skin from free radicals. Carrot seed has a natural SPF of 38-40. It also helps with skin irritation and helps to rejuvenate the skin. Red raspberry seed oil has a natural SPF of 28-50, and is one of the only natural oils that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. In fact, the SPF of Red Raspberry Seed Oil has been found to be equal to that of an ingredient commonly used in commercial sunscreens. You can also make your own if you feel up to buying adventurous ingredients, like beeswax and zinc oxide powder, and mixing them up in your kitchen. There is a recipe posted on your screen for Homemade Sunscreen. Coconut Oil has a SPF of 2 - 8 and Myrrh has an SPF of 20. The only downfall is most natural sunscreens are not waterproof, so it’ll wash off as soon as you get in the water. If you happen to have this kind of situation, then these are the natural sunscreen brands that are recommended: Badger Balm, Kabana Green Screen and Raw Elements. There is a link above for the EWG website so you can check how sunscreens are scored. What you can do after you get out of the sun, is try Lavender, Frankincense, and Peppermint essential oils with coconut oil it makes a great after sun lotion. Lavender takes the burn out, Frankincense is wonderful for the skin, and Peppermint is cooling. If you happen to get a little sunburn, apply some more red raspberry seed oil, it is high in anti-oxidants and has an anti-inflammatory effect; it can reduce the inflammation associated with sunburn. It has been found to make abnormal skin cells self-terminate – essentially stopping potential tumors and cancers from getting established. Aloe Vera can help to soothe that hot, angry skin. Also, topical magnesium has been shown in studies to strengthen the outer barrier of the skin and accelerate healing in the epidermis. So go out and enjoy your time in the sun without the worry! ☀️ Sources: ☀️ https://sunwarrior.com/healthhub/natural-sunscreen-alternatives http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/317278.php https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3873510/ http://www.ewg.org/sunscreen/best-sunscreens/best-beach-sport-sunscreens/ Thank you for watching! ❤ Good Day and Good Health The Refreshing Point Sunscreen is Blocking your Vitamin D Production try These Natural Alternatives to Sunscreen sunscreen recipe diy sunscreen all natural sunscreen natural sunblock
