If you are using a gym bike make sure you set the timer up so it does not pause when you are taking the 10 second breaks. TO lose 10 pounds as fast as possible = that it is very important that you follow this bike workout as is and try not to deviate too much from the bike weight loss workout you see me doing in the above video. This bike workout is based off my 10/10 style of interval workouts which you can learn more about here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNhc2n1Agfw but basically what 10/10 interval training is (and using this bike workout as an example) is that you go all out for 10 seconds like pedaling on the bike as fast as you can s you saw or followed along with the video followed by you resting all out or lightly pedaling for another 10 seconds and you would repeat that process over and over for at least 10 minutes but no longer than 40 minutes so of course... You can do this work out not only on a bike but also on an elliptical (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjHaLu6QkdI), treadmill (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ij2QKPsEth8) or any other prices of cardio equipment. You could also do this work out while performing jumping jacks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w6M4bOXJ_s or ski steps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJlTmMXe3Mc It does not matter what kind of bike you have and as for the resistance level setting just keep it on a normal setting or use the lowest resistance setting as possible that will allow you to pedal super-fast to burn a lot more calories in a shorter period of time. Don't forget that along with doing this bike workout you will need to go on a diet so go here: http://www.nowloss.com/nowloss-diet.htm to use a 1200-to-2000 calorie diet where you can eat whatever you want whenever you want and still lose weight or you can use this diet here: http://www.nowloss.com/best-way-to-lose-weight-fast.htm to lose weight without counting calories but your food options are limited. Beat your last workout meaning that if you burned 100 calories today with this bike workout then tomorrow shoot for 105 calories or track your distance. If you went a total of 3 miles then go for 3.1 or 3.3 miles the next workout because doing this will help you lose weight faster and faster each time you do this work out and... Losing 10 pounds in 10 days greatly depends on how overweight you are so if you are trying to ONLY lose your last 10 pounds then don't really expect to lose your last 10 pounds in 10 days now generally if you are just starting a weight loss plan where you are more than 30 pounds overweight then yes... You will more than likely lose 10 pounds in 10 days when doing this bike workout for 10 minutes 1-to-6 times per day along with a basic weight loss diet plan. **************************************************** More Bike Workouts: 32 Min. It is more likely you will only burn 100 calories in 10 minutes at first but you will burn more and more calories as you get better at this super intense HIIT bike workout. If fat loss or weight loss is your main goal then this bike workout is by far one of the most rewarding workouts you can do to look good naked. This workout is made up of 3 TEN minute sets where you alternate between 45 & 30 second burst with a 60 seconds all out burst at the end but your rest periods get shorter & shorter each time going from 30 seconds all the way down to 10 second breaks. ALL 7 Bike Workouts for Weight Loss ⏵ http://www.nowloss.com/bike/ You can download a printable version of this workout along with the mp3 of me motivating you here: http://www.nowloss.com/bike I think this stationary bike workout of mine last for 26 minutes (close to 30 minutes) but I think it actually is a full 40 minute bike workout if you decides to do the bonus workout at the end that last for 14 minutes or if you want to you can simply just do the short 14 minute HIIT bike workout at the end. What is HIIT training? Well if you need to know then just do the workout on your bike or without a bike doing jumping jacks or another piece of equipment and you will realize the definition of HIIT workouts is HELL! For this bike workout (and all the other bike workouts I do...) I'm imply using a gold gyms home bike that I bought online for about $150-200 and I'm not telling you this so you can go out and buy one. NO, any bike can be used and there is no special weight loss magic in the gold gyms bike. A lot of you ask me what resistance I'm using and honestly I use no resistance and I have never tried upping the resistance. It's best to use the normal or low setting on the bike so you are able to pedal as fast as possible to burn the most calories = more fat burned while working out 3 Things You Must Do To Lose 10 Pounds Every 3 Weeks... 1. Do this bike workout at least 1-to-2 times per day 3-to-4 days per week. 2. Use 1 of these diets: http://www.nowloss.com/nowloss-diet.htm to lose weight without counting calories OR http://www.nowloss.com/best-way-to-lose-weight-fast.htm if you hate counting calories 3. Beat your last workout so for example... I personally burned 560 calories total for this 40 minute workout (burned 317 calories first 30 minutes and another 233 for last 14 minutes!) & I totaled 9.96 miles for the entire workout so next time I do this workout... I need to push myself a little bit more and burn 561 calories & go 10 miles while pedaling a little faster overall. This workout is made of FOUR 6 minute sets + a Bonus 14 minute workout composed of THREE 4 minute sets. BEGINNERS may want to start with 2 sets (I'll let you get away with just 1 set) Intermediates can do 3-to-4 sets. ADVANCED OR HIGHLY Motivated people can do 4+ sets and the bonus 14 minute bike workout at the end. PLEASE NOTE: How fast you lose weight depends on how overweight you are and as you get closer your weight loss goal you will not lose weight at the same rate of 10 pounds every 3 weeks. A bike is not needed in order for you to follow along and do this work out. ALL 7 Bike Workouts for Weight Loss ⏵ http://www.nowloss.com/bike/ Can you really lose 10 pounds in 1 week or 30 pounds in 30 days with this bike workout? The answer is yes depending on how overweight you are and how bloated or how much water weight you are carrying. Did you know you can easily lose 5 pounds in 2 days by messing with your salt, carb and water intake to flush out 5 or 10 pounds of unwanted water weight bloat? So again if you are overweight by at least 30 pounds then yes, losing 10 pounds in your first week with this HIIT bike workout is not a problem at all. For the best results you need to do the FULL one-hour workout 2-to-4 days per week 1-to-2 times per day or you can do just the 45 minute or the first 4 sets for 2-to-4 days per week 1-to-2 times per day or if you are a true beginner you can do ONLY the 13-minute part of the workout for 1-to-6 times a day for 3-to-5 days per week. As you saw in the video there is proof of how fast you can lose weight from doing this hellish intense workout or this bike workout from hell but did you remember the girl at the beginning of this video who lost 84 whopping pounds in 4 months doing both my bike and elliptical workouts and what about me (adrian Bryant) I used this bike workout in my journey to get super ripped or super shredded as some of you would say. If you don’t have a bike and you still want to lose 10 pounds this week then you can also follow along and do this work out by doing jumping jacks, sprint back and forth in a short space, burpees and/or ski steps or of course you and follow along with this bike workout by doing this HIIT workout on a treadmill. Here is the exact layout of the first part or the first 4 sets of the HIIT bike workout: you go all out for 30 seconds and then you rest for 10 seconds, then you go all out again but for 20 seconds and then you rest again for 10 seconds and you repeat that 30 seconds and 20 second alternating process 9 times and then you rest one minute and repeat all of that up to 3 times for a FULL 45 minute 4 set workout. I personally lost weight fast doing this because I always beat my last workout starting off by only burning 600 calories to burning an amazing whole lot of 800 calories doing this. Do not forget to use a diet along with this bike workout to almost guarantee you will lose 10 pounds in your first week. You can use my eat anything you want diet plan (the nowloss diet where you count calorie) or you can use my 5 diet rules plan where you do not have to count calories. After that initial fast weight loss of 10 or 30 pounds your weight loss rate will slow down and this is especially true once you have only -to-15 pounds left to lose or just belly fat remaining At the point of less than 20 pounds left you can expect to lose less than 5 pounds a week or maybe even 1-to-2 pounds a week and in most cases where you have only 10 pounds left to lose you can expect some weeks where you lose less than 1 pound a week or no weight at all. So the answer to can you lose 10 pounds in 1 week with the bike workout all depends or mainly depends on how over weigh you are? More than 30 pounds to lose = yes and less than 30 = maybe and less than 15 = no you will not 10 pounds in any week. More bike workouts 40min. This is Max Happer for Howcast. What we're going to go over today is how to get the best use out of an exercise bike in the gym. Exercise bike is one of my favorite pieces of equipment that I love to use for myself and also my clients. Other than just getting a great cardiovascular burn, this is an awesome exercise to build the leg muscles up on somebody that maybe has a knee injury or has some type of issue like that because there's no impact. That's the awesome thing about this. Let me show you how we actually do it. On this bike, like any other piece of cardiovascular equipment, there's going to be a lot of different programs. Some of the programs are fat burn, cardio, zone training, personal training, hill plus, or manual. Many different programs that you can use to get a different type of cardiovascular workout. One thing I love to do on the bike is I love to turn the intensity as high as I can go, sometimes about 20, 24. I will just pedal it even if it's slow, I'll pedal it out just like I was doing a muscular workout for about 20 minutes. What that does is it builds the leg muscles without having to put the impact that you would get from running. The bike is very variable. You can do many different things with it. You can change it up to suit whatever your goal is, and honestly I think everybody should jump on it and have a good time. Guys, get out there. If your goal is to burn fat, your goal is to build bigger leg muscles, whatever it is, this can be an excellent piece of equipment for you.

Most people automatically assume that cardio is better for fat loss and weights are better for building muscle. And this may be true if you compare traditional steady-state cardio to traditional weight training but there are different forms of weight training that incorporate very effective new training techniques that may be far more beneficial for fat loss. So If youre the type of person that wouldnt mind burning fat faster with less effort then stick with me through this video because I'm going to give you a couple surprising new ways that you could lose fat way faster with both cardio and weight training models and ill make sure that you fully understand which one is best for you and your goals. Now if you're looking for the quick overnight fix I don't have that for you but this is as close as you're going to get to that magic bullet quick fix to spending less time in the gym while burning more fat from your workouts. So let's start first by taking a closer look at Cardio and weight training at their core. Traditional cardio is usually performed on a treadmill an elliptical stair climber a bike or even on a rowing machine. When I talk about traditional cardio I'm mostly referring to steady-state long duration cardio where you're continuously repeating the same low to moderate intensity motions like jogging, biking, or swimming for an extended period of time. Most of traditional types of cardio are forms of aerobic training. Aerobic training primarily involves using oxygen to sufficiently meet the body's energy demands during exercise. On the other hand traditional weight training where you lift a heavy weight load for a certain amount of reps before taking a break and then repeating for more sets, THAT is considered anaerobic training. With anaerobic training oxygen alone cannot supply enough energy to meet the demands placed on the body so glycogen from the muscles is primarily used to fuel the activity. Generally speaking, you’ll burn more calories for each session of cardio than weight training for about the same amount of effort. Minute per minute, cardio burns more calories. But does that mean that cardio is better for fat loss? Let's take a closer look. For a long time it was believed that to burn the maximum amount of fat you had to stay in what was known as the fat burning zone which mostly could only be maintained through aerobic cardiovascular activity. The idea behind the fat burning zone was that you would burn a higher percentage of fat calories rather than carb calories when you stayed at about 70 percent of your maximum heart rate. And this made sense to most people because once an activity became too intense the pathway for energy would change to anaerobic and begin primarily burning glycogen or carbs for fuel rather than using fat oxidation. However, it's been proven that the fat burning zone is a myth because both types of training aerobic and anaerobic can burn plenty of fat. And if you burn more overall calories from a higher intensity workout like the ones I'm about to share with you, so anything above roughly 70% of your maximum heart rate you might be burning a higher percentage of carbs, but you're also burning more overall calories because you're heart rate is higher and the activity is more intense. So even if you have a smaller percentage of fat coming from a larger overall number of calories, you can still wind up burning more fat. This is easy to understand if I give you an example like take 50 percent of a smaller number like 500, and then take 30 percent of a larger number like 1,000. Just because you're burning a higher percentage of fat from lower intensity exercise like steady state cardio, doesn't mean that you're burning more fat. On top of that even though we know cardio will typically burn more calories per session than weight training, research has shown that you burn more calories in the hours and sometimes days following a weight training session when compared to a cardio workout. Also weight training will build much more muscle than cardio. Muscle is directly linked to your resting metabolism, so if you have more muscle you will have a faster resting metabolism than if you had less muscle allowing you to burn more calories during rest over time Study comparing weights vs cardio: https://www.physiology.org/doi/10.1152/japplphysiol.01370.2011
