Circulation. 2011;123:e609. ======================================= 🤦‍♂️ #1 Disease That Causes Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and Impotence ======================================= The first is hormonal imbalances and lower testosterone levels because of -Higher stress and faster pace lifestyle -Lack of key nutrients due to poor food production - pesticides, hormones in meats, etc. -Low physical activity and higher body fats Hormonal imbalances due to the environment and aging, causes physical symptoms of erectile problems, in addition to “emotional” problems with lowered sex drive, libido and the DESIRE to have sex. Remember, hormones affect you both physically and emotionally. However, there men who have ED, who have a normal sex drive and “desire”, but simply can’t get an erection or have difficulty maintaining it during sex. And in these situations, this tends to be more of a VASCULAR problem due to poor blood flow and circulation. What Causes ED? Remember, In order to achieve an erection, three conditions must occur: the nerves to the penis must be functioning properly the blood circulation to the penis must be adequate there must be a stimulus from the brain If there is something interfering with any or all of these conditions, a full erection will be prevented. #1 Disease That Causes ED There are different diseases that can cause erectile dysfunction. However, today I’m going to quickly discuss the #1 causing disease, which accounts for over 70% of physical-related causes of ED and that’s vascular disease!1,2 Simply stated, vascular diseases affect your blood vessels and restrict blood flow to your heart, brain and in the case of ED -- your penis. In fact, more specifically, atherosclerosis, which is the hardening of your arteries, accounts for almost 60% of ED cases in men over the age of 55!1,3 Erectile Dysfunction - A Sign Of Heart Disease? What’s interesting is that the newest research shows that men with ED typically also have heart problems.5 Thus, ED is a pre-warning sign that you may have a heart attack or stroke in the future because you have a buildup of plaque and calcium in your blood vessels.5 How To Improve Your Blood Flow The older we get, the worse your circulation becomes. This affects your entire body - from head to your two, inside and out. Remember, your blood contains oxygen, youthful hormones and nutrients to feed all of your cells. So you must improve your circulation for better health and longevity and this first starts with improving your lifestyle. This means: Reduce or eliminate fried fats. Eat natural, raw fats - raw nuts and seeds, avocados, extra virgin olive oil, fish oils and similar uncooked fats. Choose wild caught fish and cage-free poultry more often than red meat. Eliminate dairy, sugars and caffeine. Exercise more. If you smoke, quit. Lose extra weight. Eat more soluble fiber. Good sources are fruits, beans, peas, oats and fiber supplements. Manage stress and get more rest. These are the basics and I’m sure you already know most of these suggestions. Lifestyle improvements take time to see the benefits, so please be patient! However, you have to make the changes or else things will only get worse. Faster Results, With Less Effort Your next option if you want faster results with less effort, is to take specific herbs, vitamins and minerals. While also strengthening your vascular system and making your blood vessels and arteries more flexible, to help prevent a heart attack or stroke. This all translates to a healthier heart, mind and of course, better, harder and stronger erections. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Five Cholesterol Myths | All About Cholesterol
Hello! My Tribe, You knew there was a bit of an over-emphasis (border lining obsession) about cholesterol, right? Before we jump into some myths let's make sure we're on the same page when it comes to what exactly cholesterol is. Myth #1: “Cholesterol” is cholesterol While cholesterol is an actual molecule what it is bound to while it's floating through your blood is what's more important than just how much of it there is overall. In fact depending on what it's combined with can have opposite effects on your arteries and heart. Yes, opposite! So cholesterol is just one component of a compound that floats around your blood. These compounds contain cholesterol as well as fats and special proteins called “lipoproteins”. They're grouped into two main categories: ● HDL: High Density Lipoprotein (AKA “good” cholesterol) that “cleans up” some of those infamous “arterial plaques” and transports cholesterol back to the liver. ● LDL: Low Density Lipoprotein (AKA “bad” cholesterol) that transports cholesterol from the liver (and is the kind found to accumulate in arteries and become easily oxidized hence their “badness”). And yes, it's even more complicated than this. Each of these categories is further broken down into subcategories which can also be measured in a blood test. So “cholesterol” isn't simply cholesterol because it has very different effects on your body depending on which other molecules it's bound to in your blood and what it is actually doing there. Myth #2: Cholesterol is bad Cholesterol is absolutely necessary for your body to produce critical things like vitamin D when your skin is exposed to the sun, your sex hormones (e.g. estrogen and testosterone), as well as bile to help you absorb dietary fats. Not to mention that it's incorporated into the membranes of your cells. Talk about an important molecule! The overall amount of cholesterol in your blood (AKA “total cholesterol”) isn't nearly as important as how much of each kind you have in your blood. While way too much LDL cholesterol as compared with HDL (the LDL:HDL ratio) may be associated with an increased risk of heart disease it is absolutely not the only thing to consider for heart health. Myth #3: Eating cholesterol increases your bad cholesterol Most of the cholesterol in your blood is made by your liver. It's actually not from the cholesterol you eat. Why do you think cholesterol medications block an enzyme in your liver (HMG Co-A reductase, to be exact)? 'Cause that's where it's made! What you eat still can affect how much cholesterol your liver produces. After a cholesterol-rich meal your liver doesn't need to make as much. Myth #4: Your cholesterol should be as low as possible As with almost everything in health and wellness there's a balance that needs to be maintained. There are very few extremes that are going to serve you well. People with too-low levels of cholesterol have increased risk of death from other non-heart-related issues like certain types of cancers, as well as suicide. Myth #5: Drugs are the only way to get a good cholesterol balance Don't start or stop any medications without talking with your doctor. And while drugs can certainly lower the “bad” LDL cholesterol they don't seem to be able to raise the “good” HDL cholesterol all that well. Guess what does? Nutrition and exercise! One of the most impactful ways to lower your cholesterol with diet is to eat lots of fruits and veggies. I mean lots, say up to 10 servings a day. You can (should?) also exercise, lose weight, stop smoking, and eat better quality fats. That means fatty fish, avocados and olive oil. Ditch those over-processed hydrogenated “trans” fats. Temperature, heart rate and blood pressure while smoking a cigarette
While smoking a cigarette temperature, blood pressure and pulse change. Here, the heart rate increased by about 20%, the temperature on the hand dropped by about one degree and the blood pressure increased. The drop in temperature and the increase in blood pressure are due to the contraction of the blood vessles which are well known facts and have been first documented over 100 years ago (Bruce, 1909). High Cholesterol Ki Alamat In Urdu/Hindi Hi Viewers - In This Video Going To Tell You About That. Asslam O Alaikum Nazreen main hun Hakeem Javed Salman aur app daikh rhay hain Heekmat Online, Aaj hum aap key ley aik mufeed video jis ka naam hai. High Cholesterol Ki Alamat In Urdu/Hindi | Signs Your Arteries Full Of Cholesterol | Common Signs Of High Cholesterol Causes Cholesterol is carried through your blood, attached to proteins. This combination of proteins and cholesterol is called a lipoprotein. You may have heard of different types of cholesterol, based on what type of cholesterol the lipoprotein carries. They are: • Low-density lipoprotein (LDL). LDL, or "bad," cholesterol transports cholesterol particles throughout your body. LDL cholesterol builds up in the walls of your arteries, making them hard and narrow. • High-density lipoprotein (HDL). HDL, or "good," cholesterol picks up excess cholesterol and takes it back to your liver. Factors within your control — such as inactivity, obesity and an unhealthy diet — contribute to high LDL cholesterol and low HDL cholesterol. Factors beyond your control may play a role, too. For example, your genetic makeup may keep cells from removing LDL cholesterol from your blood efficiently or cause your liver to produce too much cholesterol. Risk factors Factors that may increase your risk of high cholesterol include: • Poor diet. Eating saturated fat, found in animal products, and trans fats, found in some commercially baked cookies and crackers, can raise your cholesterol level. Foods that are high in cholesterol, such as red meat and full-fat dairy products, will also increase your total cholesterol. • Obesity. Having a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater puts you at risk of high cholesterol. • Large waist circumference. Your risk increases if you are a man with a waist circumference of at least 40 inches (102 centimeters) or a woman with a waist circumference of at least 35 inches (89 centimeters). • Lack of exercise. Exercise helps boost your body's HDL, or "good," cholesterol while increasing the size of the particles that make up your LDL, or "bad," cholesterol, which makes it less harmful. • Smoking. Cigarette smoking damages the walls of your blood vessels, making them likely to accumulate fatty deposits. Smoking may also lower your level of HDL, or "good," cholesterol. • Diabetes. High blood sugar contributes to higher LDL cholesterol and lower HDL cholesterol. High blood sugar also damages the lining of your arteries High cholesterol can cause atherosclerosis, a dangerous accumulation of cholesterol and other deposits on the walls of your arteries. These deposits (plaques) can reduce blood flow through your arteries, which can cause complications, such as: • Chest pain. If the arteries that supply your heart with blood (coronary arteries) are affected, you may have chest pain (angina) and other symptoms of coronary artery disease. • Heart attack. If plaques tear or rupture, a blood clot may form at the plaque-rupture site — blocking the flow of blood or breaking free and plugging an artery downstream. If blood flow to part of your heart stops, you'll have a heart attack. • Stroke. Similar to a heart attack, if blood flow to part of your brain is blocked by a blood clot, a stroke occurs. Prevention The same heart-healthy lifestyle changes that can lower your cholesterol can help prevent you from having high cholesterol in the first place. To help prevent high cholesterol, you can: • Eat a low-salt diet that includes many fruits, vegetables and whole grains • Limit the amount of animal fats and use good fats in moderation • Lose extra pounds and maintain a healthy weight • Quit smoking • Exercise on most days of the week for at least 30 minutes • Drink alcohol in moderation, if at all • THANKS. • App Hamain Facebook pe bhi Folow kar Skatey hain. • https://web.facebook.com/Heekmat-Online-775006439346304/notifications/ • App Hamain Google plus pe bhi Follow kar Saktey hain. • https://plus.google.com/b/106058501549679543471/106058501549679543471 • YOU TUBE CHANNEL - Heekmat online. • https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFcZOEgH6YmttpxNfo3P_PQ Thanks For Watching #heekmatonline

Like, Comment, Subscribe and invite all your friends to see our videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUOF1_1_fY50PVN0TtItbDQ?sub_confirmation=1 6 Causes of High Cholesterol: 1. Poor Diet A diet high in “bad” cholesterol (or LDL cholesterol) can increase your cholesterol levels and lead to heart disease. That’s why it’s important to avoid trans fats, which are rife with LDL cholesterol. Trans fats can be found in a number of unhealthy foods, from fast food burgers to baked goods like donuts, cake, and tarts. To combat high cholesterol, try eating loads of whole grains (such as whole wheat breads and pastas) and consuming plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. You should also replace less healthy red meat with heart-healthy types of fish—such as cod, tuna and halibut—all of which research says—contains omega 3 fatty acids known to help maintain heart health. 2. Excess Weight Being overweight is a major part of having high cholesterol. Many people struggling with obesity consume too much LDL (or “bad”) cholesterol, which can be found in foods high in trans fats. Research has shown that exercise can actually help to lower cholesterol. That’s because regular, moderate physical activity can bring up high-density lipoprotein (HDL, or “good”) cholesterol levels. In time, research shows that this can lower one’s weight and bring down those LDL cholesterol levels. Of course, it’s crucial that you consult your physician before engaging in an aggressive physical activity plan. If you’re currently overweight and looking to cut your cholesterol, consider starting with moderate physical activities, like riding a bike or going for brisk walks. 3. Smoking It should be no surprise that smoking is bad for your health. But it’s specifically troublesome when it comes to cholesterol, as it lowers high-density lipoprotein (HDL, or “good”) cholesterol levels while causing physical harm to the lining of blood vessels. In time, this can raise one’s risk of developing blood clots, which can eventually lead to atherosclerosis (or the hardening of the arteries). It’s worth noting that second-hand smoke—or breathing in others’ cigarette smoke— can also have this effect. So, if you’ve got high cholesterol (and even if you don’t), you should stop smoking immediately. A number of studies, including research from Web MD, reveal that quitting the habit can immediately begin the process of reviving HDL levels. 4. Age The older you are, the more likely you’ll have to deal with high cholesterol. That’s because older adults are less likely to get physical exercise (on account of various mobility issues). Research from the U.S. government’s National Cholesterol Education Program has shown that men older than 45-years of age and women over age 55 are automatically at risk for high cholesterol. The good news is that there are things older adults can do to lower their cholesterol levels. Exercise helps but even if that’s not an option one can cut their cholesterol by eating healthy foods (like whole grains and fruits and vegetables), losing weight, and quitting smoking. 5. Gender Men are far more likely to deal with high cholesterol than women. And for many men this means they’re at far greater risk of having a heart attack than their female counterparts. Take, for example, a recent study of 40,000 men and women under age 60. It showed that not only are men more likely to deal with high cholesterol, but that men with high cholesterol had three times the risk of having a heart attack than women who had high cholesterol. That’s why it’s crucial for all men, especially those older than 45, to have their cholesterol levels tested. If high cholesterol is detected, one should seriously consider serious lifestyle adjustments, such as changing diet, losing weight, and quitting smoking. 6. Family History Some people eat well, have a healthy body weight, exercise regularly, avoid smoking and still find themselves diagnosed with high cholesterol. In many cases this is the result of familial hypercholesterolemia, which simply means that the person has a family history of high cholesterol. Roughly one in 500 people (or about 13 million people in the United States) have familial hypercholesterolemia, which means they’re at risk of developing coronary artery disease and having a heart attack. That’s why it’s crucial for all men and women—no matter their diet, size, or activity levels—to see their physician regularly about their cholesterol.

How Smoking Raises Heart Disease Risk | Heart Disease
Watch more How to Understand Heart Disease videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/512521-How-Smoking-Raises-Heart-Disease-Risk-Heart-Disease How does smoking increase the risk of heart disease? Smoking has been one of the risk factors that's most well-established for the development of heart disease and the buildup of atherosclerotic or cholesterol plaques in the arteries of the heart. The link between smoking and heart attack and stroke has been very strongly established in the medical literature. How does smoking lead to the buildup of cholesterol plaque in the arteries? It's a pretty complicated mechanism, but some of the basics we know. When people smoke, it increases the likelihood that cholesterol in the blood will be taken up into the arteries of the heart. In addition, it increases the inflammation of the arteries of the heart. If we take a campfire analogy of coronary atherosclerosis, we can consider the artery as the campfire and every time you smoke, it's like taking a little squirt of lighter fluid and adding it to the campfire. Each time, you get a little burst of inflammation and that causes a little more damage. This is a very simplistic way of looking at things, but helps give us a visual of what might be going on in the arteries of the heart when someone smokes. Not only has the link between smoking and heart disease been well-established, but the amount you smoke makes a real difference. With each additional cigarette per day, we've been able to show an increased rate of heart attack and stroke. The flip side of that coin, is as anyone reduces the amount they smoke, their risk of heart disease dramatically reduces. Stopping smoking is one of the single best ways for someone to reduce their risk of heart disease, stroke, or heart attack. So, smoking, can be said to directly lead to the buildup of atherosclerotic plaque in the arteries.

Magical Drink to Reduce CHOLESTEROL in 2 weeks Naturally || Works 100% || Homemade ||
Magical drink to reduce cholesterol in 2 weeks. With Only Half Cup A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! With Only 3 Tablespoons A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! Cholesterol is a fatty substance made by your body and found in certain foods. Your body needs some cholesterol in order to function properly, but having too much (high cholesterol) puts you at risk for having a heart attack or stroke. The extra cholesterol that isn’t used by your body builds up in blood vessel walls, causing blockages. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), having high cholesterol doubles your risk of heart disease. Total cholesterol = LDL + HDL + Triglycerides  LDL (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "bad" cholesterol) HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "good" cholesterol) Triglycerides (fats carried in the blood from the food we eat. Excess calories, alcohol, or sugar in the body are converted into triglycerides and stored in fat cells throughout the body.) The good news is that lifestyle changes are effective in helping you reduce cholesterol levels. They’re also fairly straightforward and can be done at any age. Exercise: Physical activity helps you lose weight and boosts your HDL levels. Aim for 30 to 60 minutes a day of moderate cardio. Eat more fiber: Replace white breads and pastas with whole grains. Eat healthy fats: Olive oil, avocado, and nuts all have fats that won’t raise your LDL. Limit cholesterol intake: Reduce the amount of high-saturated fat foods like cheese, whole milk, and high-fat red meats. Quit smoking. It’s important to remember that everyone is different. Family history and whether or not you have other conditions, such as diabetes, plays a role in your individual risks. Talk to your doctor about your cholesterol levels and ask what he or she thinks your numbers should be. how to reduce cholesterol quickly how to lower cholesterol without medication lower cholesterol diet how to lower your cholesterol in 2 days supplements to lower cholesterol how to reduce cholesterol naturally home remedies foods to avoid with high cholesterol how to control cholesterol in indian diet how to prevent heart attack with food how to prevent heart attack naturally how to avoid heart attack while sleeping how to prevent heart attack when alone how to prevent a heart attack while it's happening how to prevent heart attack at night how to prevent heart attack from happening how to avoid heart attack symptoms how to prevent a stroke naturally foods that prevent stroke how to stop a stroke in progress how to prevent a stroke after a mini stroke how to prevent a stroke aspirin how to prevent a stroke or heart attack how to prevent a stroke from happening again stroke prevention diet To view more, click here: https://goo.gl/ONjJau SUBSCRIBE: Click here: https://goo.gl/wsOEBM Connect with me on: Email: muskaanhamad@gmail.com Muskaan Science Academy: https://goo.gl/ndG6eG Google Plus: https://goo.gl/6bNOp4 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/muskaan.hamad Blog: http://beautyandmakeuptips2016.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: https://naturalhomeremedies.tumblr.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/muskaanhamad/ Vine: Search "Muskaan Hamad" on vine! Gut Bacteria, Cholesterol & Heart Disease w/ Dr. Mark Houston
Access the show notes: http://highintensityhealth.com/drhouston 5:01 Advanced Lipid Testing: In the U.S., we tend to think that if we get lipids/fats under control, no one will have heart attacks. Measuring only blood cholesterol ignores other important risk factors. The methodologies that measures lipids are not done with advanced testing. Doctors perform the obsolete total quantity testing for HDL, LDL, cholesterol, and triglycerides; but particle size, particle number and, in some cases, the functionality of HDL, with reverse cholesterol transport. 6:35 Big LDLs and Small LDLs. It makes a difference: Heart disease and heart attack risk is driven by the number of LDL particles and the size of LDL particles. If LDL particles are small and in great number, they slip through the lining of the vascular system and cause inflammation, oxidative stress, and immune dysfunction. It creates a plaque formation with ruptures and causes a heart attack. Think of the lining of the vascular system as the net on a tennis court. A tennis ball won’t go through the net, but a golf ball will. The tennis ball is a large LDL and a golf ball is a small LDL. A lot of golf balls going through the net, begins the inflammatory process. Generally, the tennis ball, larger LDL is not a problem. 8:10 HDL is the Cleanup Crew: If you have a lot of golf balls on the wrong side of the net, you might be able to fill your wheelbarrow with them in one trip. If you only have a bucket, you might have to make multiple trips to pick up the golf balls. If your wheelbarrow has a flat tire or broken handle, you still won’t be able to remove very many golf balls. You want your HDLs to be big and you want them to function well. You want a lot of wheelbarrows and you want them operating optimally. 9:22 What Causes Dysfunctional HDL? It is most often caused by inflammation from any cause, but it could be from things like rheumatoid arthritis or chronic infection. Heavy metals could be the cause. Dysfunctional HDL can also be caused by poor micronutrient intake or poor macronutrient intake. When HDL is damaged, there is no oxidative defense, there is poor reverse cholesterol transport and there are none of the other activities that HDL does to prevent atherosclerosis. Basic lipid testing does not differentiate between adequately functioning HDL and poorly functioning HDL. Advanced lipid testing shows the various conditions and activities of HDL. 10:53 What Happens When Small LDL’s Get into Our Cardiovascular System? Small LDLs are more likely to be modified. Glucose can cause oxidation, inflammation, glycation, or acetylation of HDL. It is common in people who are diabetic or have insulin resistance, obesity, or metabolic syndrome. Small LDLs stick in the subendothelial layer and you cannot get them out. A type of white cell, called macrophages, moves into the layer below the endothelium because they love to eat small LDLs. They have no appetite control. They eat small LDLs until they burst. The mess literally ruptures into the subendothelial layer and even into the lumen, causing the area to clot, eventually creating a myocardial infarction/heart attack. 12:36 How Can We Stop the Golf Balls? There are 38 different mechanisms that you can use to interrupt the process of heart disease. Exercise and nutraceuticals are the keys. There is lycopene, from tomatoes and grapefruit, lipoic acid, N-acetylcysteine, resveratrol, berberine, red yeast rice, niacin, omega 3 fatty acids from cold water fish and many more. The Mediterranean diet with lots of extra virgin olive oil helps too. It is important to stay on a low carbohydrate diet. 15:06 Causes of Endothelial Dysfunction: Dr. Houston can list over 400 causes for ED. The top 5 that are typically talked about are blood pressure, lipid, diabetes, obesity and smoking. They cause insult to the endothelial lining, causing endothelial dysfunction. Dysfunction is related to inflammation, oxidative stress, immune dysfunction within the arteries, clotting and abnormal growth factors that make the arteries stiff and enlarges the heart, causing heart failure as well as heart attacks. 24:02 Poor Gut Health and Heart Disease: Gastrointestinal problems are directly linked to cardiovascular problems. You must clean up the diet and repair the gut to reduce metabolic endotoxemia after eating. This is actually low grade sepsis, producing a huge inflammatory response, oxidative stress, and immune dysfunction in the gut that is transported into the vascular system.

Top 3 Best Fish vs. Worst Fish to Eat: Thomas DeLauer
Learn the 3 Safest fish to eat! I'll teach you more at http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com We are going to go over the top 3 fish to eat and the fish that you may want to avoid. Fish can become contaminated in a number of ways - size, species, age and location determine contamination levels. Heavy Metals: Mercury and Lead- Mercury is known to cause many health problems and is especially dangerous for children and women who are or may become pregnant. It can take 12-18 months for mercury to pass through the body, so women who may become pregnant should also work hard to avoid mercury. The nervous system and kidneys are the main targets of mercury. Children exposed to mercury may cause mental development problems, including coordination and learning handicaps. Anyone can experience mercury health effects, including: fatigue, dizziness, numbness or tingling, memory and coordination problems, irritability. If enough mercury is consumed, permanent brain and kidney damage can occur. Large, older, or predatory fish have more time and eat more contaminated foods, allowing heavy metals to bioaccumulate. Industrial Chemicals- PCBs, dioxins, DDT and other chemicals can leach from factories or garbage into our waters. These chemicals are related to cancer risk. Bottom dwelling fish are the most susceptible to these toxins, including the American eel, sea trout and wild striped bass. Radiation- The Fukushima nuclear disaster is one of the most widely discussed radiation events that has an impact on what we eat. Radiation is known to cause cancer, so avoiding foods high in radioactive compounds is important. Researching your fish choices online is the best way to avoid consuming fish that come from an area high in radiation. Choosing Fish for Your Family- The Environmental Defense Fund Seafood Selector is a great benefit when deciding what fish to avoid and what fish to load up on. Given the above concerns while also weighing in health and deliciousness, here is the list of the top three fish: (1) Pacific Sardines (US and Canada): -Low in mercury -Sustainably fished -High in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins B12, B2, B3, D, selenium, phosphorus, calcium, copper and more -They are inexpensive and easy to find canned. (2) Wild Alaskan Salmon: -Salmon is one of the most delicious fish, rich in healthy fats. -Low in mercury and sustainably fished -Contains bioactive peptides that may support for cartilage, insulin and inflammation. -High in vitamins B12, B3, D, selenium, omega-3 fatty acids, phosphorus, B6 and many others. (3) Muscles: -Low in mercury and one of the most sustainably fished seafood sources out there -High in selenium, omega-3s, B12, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and many others. Seafood to Avoid: Due to toxins and sustainability, it is best to stay away from these types of seafood. (1) Shark: -Anything this high up on the food chain is going to be a red flag when it comes to toxins.Predators consume other fish and their toxins. The higher up on the food chain, the higher the levels of mercury and toxins in the fish. Adding to the health dangers is the unsustainable fishing practices. Sharks have long gestation periods, taking a long time to mature and have offspring. This makes overfishing or depleting their numbers easy to do. Most shark species are experiencing a large decline due to fishing, being caught as bycatch and for fins in Asia. (2) Tuna: A favorite among many sushi goers is unfortunately very high in mercury and horrible for sustainability. Some tuna is much better for you and the environment than others. If you do consume tuna, US yellowfin is the best option. Canned albacore tuna is high in mercury and should be avoided. Bluefin and imported albacore are the worst tuna options for health and sustainability - do your best to avoid these. Canned light tuna is better for you than canned white tuna when it comes to mercury, with about ⅓ the mercury content of canned white tuna. (3) Farmed Tilapia: Farmed tilapia in the US is often imported from China and Taiwan where the conditions and chemicals used are very troublesome. (4) Swordfish: All swordfish, being large hunters, are high in mercury. They are also fished very unsustainably, with large bycatch of sea turtles, sharks and seabirds. References 1. Ivor Cummins - 'An Engineering View of Modern Chronic Disease Prevention'
Ivor Cummins BE(Chem) CEng MIEI PMP® completed a Chemical Engineering degree at UCD in 1990. He has since spent over 25 years in corporate technical leadership and management positions, and was shortlisted in 2015 as one of the top 6 of 500 applicants for “Irish Chartered Engineer of the Year”. Ivor’s focus and specialty is leading teams in complex problem-solving scenarios. He has often led worldwide teams with over 60-70 engineers working on major technical issues; the largest of these involved product issues where hundreds of millions of dollars were in the balance. Several years ago, Ivor encountered a complex technical challenge in his personal life. Receiving poor blood test results, he was unable to get solutions via the doctors consulted. He thus embarked on an intense period of biochemical research into the science of human metabolism. Within eight weeks he had resolved and optimised all of his blood test metrics. Also, he had shed over 15Kg of body fat with relative ease. In the following years he continued his research on the many “root causes” of modern disease, from “cholesterol” through to insulin resistance. He has become a professional speaker of note, giving many public lectures and chairing interviews with worldwide health experts. Most notably he was invited by the President of the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) to give a keynote talk on heart disease root causes, at their annual conference in London last October. All of Ivor’s public lectures and interviews are available on his YouTube channel, where nearly a million views have been recorded to date: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPn4FsiQP15nudug9FDhluA. His book on chronic disease root causes and resolution strategies (co-authored with Denver doctor Jeffry Gerber MD, FAAFP) will be released by a major US publisher on February 27th 2018: https://www.amazon.com/Eat-Rich-Live-Long-Mastering/dp/1628602732/ His blog and other content is available at www.thefatemperor.com Ivor lives in Dublin, Ireland, with his wife and five children.

4 Popular Diet Tips - YOU SHOULD NEVER FOLLOW!!
Get a step by step diet plan that will get you ripped year round here… http://athleanx.com/x/diet-plan-for-ripped-muscle Everywhere you turn, people give out diet tips and advice for how to lose fat or build muscle fast. The problem is, most of that advice is terrible and will not help you to get to your goal any faster. As a matter of fact, many popular diet tips will do exactly the opposite of what they are supposed to be helping you to do. In this video, I cover four of the most popular diet and meal plan tips that need to be buried right here and now. Right off the bat, some will have you believe that eating fat makes you fat. That can’t be further from the truth. Eating fat, COULD make you fat if you eat in excess of your daily caloric maintenance levels just as eating too many carbs and protein can as well. The simple act of eating a fat molecule will not cause it to be stored as body fat in your body. In fact, nutritional fats are a necessary part of a healthy diet plan, with fat making up a portion of the surrounding layer of nearly every cell in your body. Next diet myth that needs to die is the concept that eating after 6PM at night is somehow going to make you fat. Again, it comes down to where you are at in your daily caloric intake in relation to your maintenance levels. If you are 800 calories below your daily caloric maintenance intake, eating these calories at 7 or 8 or even 10PM is not going to adversely affect you in your pursuit of getting a ripped six pack. The fact of the matter is, you are still at or below your level to maintain your current level of body fat and simply shifting the time at which you consume these calories does not change their thermal effect. That said, eating your meals too infrequently throughout the day can wreak havoc on your blood sugar levels. Having wildly unstable levels of blood sugar can lead to severe alterations in mood, focus and most importantly cravings. When you allow your cravings to build too significantly, you often find yourself in a position where you will grab foods that don’t align themselves with your healthy eating approach needed to get ripped and stay ripped as you build muscle. The next popular eating and diet tip that is dispensed all too often these days is the concept that you cannot build muscle if you are following a vegan or vegetarian meal plan. Why? There are plenty of protein options available to those following a meat and dairy free meal plan including quinoa, chick peas, and even pea protein powders that enable vegans to get adequate protein without having to follow a meat based eating plan. The total amount of protein needed to build new muscle is still a hotly debated topic however it has been shown to vary from individual to individual and could be far less than what you may have been told previously. Finally, there is a mistaken belief by some that taking supplements and fat burners will get you ripped. That is simply not the case if you refuse to also take your daily diet plan seriously. If you think that you can eat like garbage the whole day and simply pop a supplement and get lean, ripped abs you are wrong. That said, someone that is committed to eating healthy and then supplements their diet plan with workout and nutrition supplements is often able to get much faster results than those that don’t. A lot of the success of workout supplements has to do with their ability to help you remain consistent with your nutrition plan and stay accountable to it. Starting your day with a supplement that you are financially invested in will help you to be emotionally invested in the goals you set forth for getting ripped and muscular that you set when you initially purchased the supplement. The consistency that supplements provide in helping you to get in high quality nutrition in a portable and easy to prepare way is likewise priceless. As you can see, there are many workout and nutrition or diet myths that are popular and preventing you from getting abs and building muscle. If you want to follow a step by step diet plan for building muscle and getting ripped at the same time, head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. How To Lower Blood Sugar Immediately
You can find Sensolin here: https://www.truthnutra.com/sensolin-yt In the next 60 seconds I'm going to show how to lower blood sugar immediately and naturally increase insulin sensitivity. So first off, let's take a look at… What is insulin? Insulin is a hormone that's produced by the pancreas, that helps turn sugars from carbohydrates to energy. It also allows the body to store glucose for future use. The muscles and liver store the sugars as glycogen, which causes muscle cells to expand. Likewise, fat cells store the sugar as triglycerides and may expand as well. Now, what is insulin sensitivity, and insulin resistance. Insulin sensitivity is how receptive the body is to the insulin it produces. When the body is properly sensitive to insulin, it uses that insulin produced and effectively removes it from the bloodstream, making energy and storing glucose for later. A healthy body is sensitive to insulin, which means it needs to make less insulin to stay healthy. Better yet, being more insulin sensitive allows the body to utilize carbohydrates properly for more energy, building muscle, and will also help the body store less fat. What's even better, is that greater insulin sensitivity is going to lead to higher T levels in men. Now what are some signs that a person might have poor insulin sensitivity? Or have developed insulin resistance? Higher insulin levels can cause weight gain, higher insulin levels can cause aging, higher insulin levels can cause reduced T, higher insulin levels increases cravings for junk foods, and also leads to blood pressure issues. With all of this in mind, for anyone who feels as though they're one of those people who is constantly riding the blood sugar roller coaster, with blood sugar all over the place, depending on what you eat, when you eat, and you get hangry and get crazy when they don't have food, For everyone who needs help with blood sugar control and needs to increase their insulin sensitivity naturally, and for the good people out there who don't want to go take drugs to achieve this, I've got 3 natural compounds to use today to simply, and quickly increase insulin sensitivity naturally and get control over those cravings once again. Now the first thing is what's known as berberine. Now berberine is an alkaloid extract taken from various plants and it's been used in traditional chinese medicine for centuries. Some of the benefits of berberine include, anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic effects, improved intestinal health, improved cholesterol numbers, increased exercise performance, and decreased blood pressure. Now the recommended dosage for berberine is between 500-1500mg/day. It's also recommended to take this dosage split between 2-3 times throughout the day. Now next up, we have cinnamon ceylon oil. Cinnamon is commonly used as a spice but it's also known for its numerous biological effects on the body. The best type of cinnamon is ceylon because it has lower coumarin content. Cinnamon has a ton of benefits, including reducing the rate at which glucose enters the body, improved glucose usage in cells, lower fasting blood sugar, and improved cholesterol levels. Now the recommended dosage for daily cinnamon intake is between 1-6g per day. And the third compound, the third natural ingredient that you can consume on a daily basis is actually what's known as chromium. Chromium is an essential mineral that's consumed through your diet. It's found in plant products and grains. The benefits of chromium include, a regulation of glucose metabolism, improved insulin sensitivity, it is used to treat glucose intolerance in type 2 diabetes, leads to a great reduction in appetite, improved symptoms of depression, and a noticeable increase in libido with the right amount of chromium. Now the daily recommended dosage of chromium is between 800-1000 mcg. At this point, some of y'all are probably wondering: where do we get all these things? One option is to search around on Amazon and try to find them, but we did at Truth Nutra is that we put together a supplement known as Sensolin (hold up sensolin bottle). Sensolin is specifically designed with these three ingredients at the exact clinical dosages shown in human studies to actually work, to actually help regulate blood glucose and to help with insulin sensitivity. Now we put them all in here, it's a very simple supplement. And it actually works. How to Reduce Bad Cholesterol
Watch more Healthy Eating videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/432350-How-to-Reduce-Bad-Cholesterol A little attention to detail never hurt anyone and may have benefits if it involves monitoring what you put in your body. Reduce your bad cholesterol through simple disciplined measures that are proven to help. Step 1: Disrupt fat with exercise Use exercise to naturally disrupt the metabolism of fat. Eating less helps, but excess body fat will keep cholesterol up until you actually lose pounds by breaking a sweat. Moderate walking and workouts five days a week can raise good cholesterol by 10 percent. Tip The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health suggests everyone 20 and over should check their levels of bad cholesterol every five years. Step 2: Relax and reflect Relax and reflect periodically, rather than give in to the high tension that constricts arteries and raises blood pressure. If you're constantly stressing out, consider making some long-term changes that will eliminate some of your stres for good. Step 3: Get good greens Drink green tea, full of compounds that can help lower bad cholesterol. Eat leafy greens as well, for soluble fiber that sponges up cholesterol in the digestive tract. Step 4: Consume nuts Consume nuts instead of cheese, meat, or croutons in salads. According to the Food and Drug Administration, a daily handful of 42.5 grams of nuts may reduce cholesterol and the risk of heart disease. Step 5: Substitute fish Substitute meat with fish twice or three times weekly. Consuming fish can profoundly lower cholesterol and triglycerides. Step 6: Choose smart fats Select smart fats for your diet, substituting canola or olive oils for vegetable oil, butter, margarine, lard, or shortening. It's not merely fats, but the kind of fats you eat, that make the difference. Tip Eggs do not drastically increase cholesterol. Step 7: Take drugs to lower cholesterol Take a cholesterol-lowering drug if you have evident cardiovascular risks. Beforehand, consider alternatives like niacin, bile acid resins, and fibrates. Step 8: Commit to win Resolve to make changes, and live a healthy lifestyle. It's your life -- only you can make the changes to lower your bad cholesterol. Did You Know? In 2010, researchers identified nearly 100 gene variants possibly linked to as much as one third of hereditary factors influencing cholesterol production.

Hemoglobin is made up of four protein molecules (globulin chains) that are connected together. The normal adult hemoglobin (abbreviated Hgb or Hb) molecule contains two alpha-globulin chains and two beta-globulin chains. In fetuses and infants, beta chains are not common and the hemoglobin molecule is made up of two alpha chains and two gamma chains. As the infant grows, the gamma chains are gradually replaced by beta chains, forming the adult hemoglobin structure. Hemoglobin is usually measured as a part of the routine complete blood count (CBC) test from a blood sample. Several methods exist for measuring hemoglobin, most of which are done currently by automated machines designed to perform different tests on blood. Within the machine, the red blood cells are broken down to get the hemoglobin into a solution. The free hemoglobin is exposed to a chemical containing cyanide that binds tightly with the hemoglobin molecule to form cyanomethemoglobin. By shining a light through the solution and measuring how much light is absorbed (specifically at a wavelength of 540 nanometers), the amount of hemoglobin can be determined. A hemoglobin test measures the amount of hemoglobin in your blood. Hemoglobin is a protein in your red blood cells that carries oxygen to your body's organs and tissues and transports carbon dioxide from your organs and tissues back to your lungs. If a hemoglobin test reveals that your hemoglobin level is lower than normal, it means you have a low red blood cell count (anemia). Anemia can have many different causes, including vitamin deficiencies, bleeding and chronic diseases. If a hemoglobin test shows a higher than normal level, there are several potential causes — the blood disorder polycythemia vera, living at a high altitude, smoking, dehydration, burns and excessive vomiting. blood test https://youtu.be/Lx3CAmMpvCE facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100015591840955 Google plus https://plus.google.com/b/101683933727326950082/collection/8uY-PE twitter https://twitter.com/HDLAB4 Please Subscribe my channel Like And Share

CBD Oil Side Effects Warning (Do Not Buy CBD Until You See This)
3 simple tips to follow before buying: 1. Always check the CBD purity, it should be 50% and more. 2. Choose products made in the US or Canada. Due to strict regulations this is your quality guarantee. 3. Do not expect to purchase quality and safe to use CBD oil for pennies. High quality CBD oil should cost at least $45-$50. Choose another product if that amount puts you into an uncomfortable situation financially. Brands that I trust and recommend: 1. Verified CBD Oil (http://verifiedcbd.com). This is probably the oldest brand of CBD I know. Tons of success stories and quality I have tested myself - these are the reasons I have been recommending this brand to my friends and family for years. The only downside is that due to their recent TV "fame" they are often out of stock and can be hard to get. Official website: http://verifiedcbd.com Benefits and Side Effects of CBD Oil Cannabidiol, or CBD as it is commonly known, is a very interesting chemical. And it is responsible for many people changing their views on marijuana use for medicinal purposes. While everyone has heard of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), not many are aware of CBD. The two chemicals are both contained in marijuana, but they serve very different purposes. While the THC in marijuana is will get you high, CBD is a chemical with many benefits from a medicinal point of view - and it does not have the same side effects on the body as THC. What are the Health Benefits of CBD Oil? The ingredient CBD has been used for many years to make several products. One of these products is CBD oil. Beware Of The Vegan With Eggs Scam
#askgojiman Vegan with eggs: my mum who has type 2 diabetes keeps chickens in the backyard and eats their eggs regularly and says the chickens have a wonderful life and eating their eggs a few times a week doesn’t make her not vegan. Do you have any evidence that eating these eggs will be doing her health no good and what are your thoughts on vegans with eggs which seems to be talked about a lot now? Great question Alice, lets get to it, roll the titles. Welcome back its good to see you all again. If we haven’t met before then I’m goji man. Im currently finishing a masters in nutrition and qualifying as a nutritionist and next year I’m doing a phd in nutritional science. I do daily videos in which I answer your health and nutrition questions under the # ask goji man. So if you have a question for me then #askgojiman in the comments below and I will pick one of these for my next video. So without further ado to the question. So question of the day. Apparently veggan is actually a thing. Vegans who keep chickens in their backyards and eat their eggs. Are these people actually vegan. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. So the first thing I will say in response to your question Alice is that eggs are the most concentrated source of cholesterol in western type diets. But as you allude to your mum eats predominantly vegan plant based so how much harm will eating these eggs 2-3 times a week actually do to her health, her cholesterol levels and her risk of having a heart attack? Now you will probably have heard people like dr greger say that eating eggs is comparable to smoking in its connection to atherosclerosis. But is this comparison a fair reflection of what the scientific data tells us? Or is this plant based drs simply being sensationalist. So lets jump into it. So there are lots of studies that have analysed cholesterol intake, its impact on blood cholesterol and the subsequent heart attack risks. And the evidence clearly points to the fact that dietary cholesterol elevates LDL cholesterol (the bad type of cholesterol). Meta-analysis studies that have analysed lots of different studies also clearly show when eating eggs the dietary cholesterol increases the ratio of total cholesterol to HDL. So what this effectively means is that eating eggs increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. And the science is unquestionable in this area. The researchers in this meta-analysis study showed that 3-4 eggs per week would increase the total cholesterol to HDL ratio that would effectively mean that a person would have a 2.1% increased risk of having a heart attack. Now your probably thinking 2.1% that is a very small risk for 3-4 eggs per week. But these type of studies were simply showing increased risk for those already eating high amounts of animal products. So what about if a person was vegan, like Alices much and strayed into eating eggs a few times a week. So here the risk is a lot more substantial and is very much dependant on how many eggs are being consumed a week. So for example this study that looked at this very topic showed that eating one egg a day increased your risk of premature death by 23%. So you can see alice if your mum is eating 2-3 eggs 3 times a week then she is at a significant risk of developing heart disease and having a subsequent risk. And if her arteries were already furred from eating a standard diet western diet before she started to transition to a more plant based diet then her risk factors would be further increased. And for Alices mum who has already got type 2 diabetes, eating eggs multiple times a week doubles her risk of having a heart attack. And this has been replicated in many studies such as the harvard nurses study that you often heart dr greger talking about as well as other large studies such as The Heath Professionals Follow up study and the Physicians Health Study. And a recent study from Greece also demonstrated that there there was a 5 times risk of having death from heart attacks for diabetics who were consuming one of more eggs a day. So what all the data and evidence shows is that there is a significant increased risk of having a heart attack from eating eggs a few times a week and if you have diabetes and you continue to to regularly eat eggs then you are really getting into hot water. And for those who don’t have type 2 diabetes and eat eggs regularly they have a significant risk of developing type 2 diabetes as well as developing prostate cancer in men. So going back to dr greger and his comparison of eating eggs to smoking. So in America, 400,000 people a year die from smoking and of these 133,000 are a direct result from smoking causing heart disease. So is fair to compare eggs eatings with smoking in terms of heart disease? Well yes according to these types of studies that have used ultrasound to measure artery plaque levels in both smokers, non smokers and those who eat eggs. The researchers clearly found regular...
