My BioIdentical Hormone 30 lb Weight Gain Story & How I Lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks

http://jenspringer.com My BioIdentical Hormone Weight Gain & How I Lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks. Got a story to tell you! Grab a pen, pad, and something to drink especially if you are a woman that cannot lose A POUND OF WEIGHT! If you are concerned you're gaining weight for no reason, this is an important video for weight gain and weight loss due to hormones. Few years we were exposed to mold. It affected me with my hormones. Neurological problems, panic attacks, anxiety, feeling crazy, thyroid out the window and severe hormone problems. Adrenals out the window too, adrenal fatigue. With a lot of research and my own practitioner experience with a MS in Nutrition, BS Environmental Science, and AS in Massage Therapy. I knew there were something going on, one doesn't lose weight and feel crazy for no reason. One of my physicians gave me a mega dose of bioidentical progesterone at 200 mg / day. I gained a pound a week! All progesterone turned into estrogen and weight gain was so bad I gained 30 pounds of fat. Weight gain not due eating. I eat vegetables, proteins, complex carbohydrates that are all low glycemic. The weight gain was NOT due to diet. No sugar, no sugar drinks. The scale every week was going up a pound. I surrendered myself to the 30 pounds because I was sleeping better, not feeling as crazy, and stopped tremoring. 6 months went by and I found a different physician. He explained to me that ALL of the progesterone was turning into estrogen. Estrogen affects blood sugar by increasing insulin and also lowers thyroid function. Sugar increases in the blood and FAT STORES in the belly. It was tough!!! The dose of progesterone was lowered and was paired with chrysin. My progesterone and testosterone was low and estrogen was high. I stopped gaining weight immediately after the lower dose w/ progesterone and chrysin. Every few months I tried to lose weight and I'd feel crazy due to hormones releasing during weight loss. Sleep problems, anxiety, and feeling crazy. Then I started estrogen detoxification for 1.5 years SLOWLY every day, EVERY DAY and being mindful about diet no eating anything possibly estrogenic. No soy or pomegranates. No ginger, cinnamon, turmeric for me either. Lots of spice can act estrogenic affect too. I would keep detoxing then I would try to lose the bioidentical hormone weight gain and I would feel crazy again. The weight I gained for no logical reason! It took 2 years of detoxing estrogen before I could lose any weight. I would test the waters. January 1st 2018 I said ENOUGH of the weight. I remembered when I easily maintained weight and I did that. Breakfast NOON Lunch 4 pm Dinner 8 pm Snack 12 am (because of hypoglycemia) No snacking in between meals. No drinks with calories. Body will use the fuel from previous meals and will help balance leptin levels. This intermittant fasting thing started working really well and SLASHED calories to 1100-1200 a day. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 1100 to 1200 calories on the 12-4-4-4 meal times with low glycemic (55 and under) foods. Friday, Saturday, Sunday normal calories and still low glycemic foods. Sometimes I do 12-4-4-4 and sometimes I snack. Not super ridgid. My BioIdentical Hormone Weight Gain & How I Lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks 1. Intermittent fasting 2. Calorie slashing 3. Glycemic Index under 55 Log all foods in the glycemic index to watch the GI and calories. Daily glycemic average is between 35-45. Very important to keep insulin levels low to lose weight. These are a few things you can try, we are all different. More videos on how to detox extrogen and low glycemic but this can get you started. You are not alone if you have gained weight on bioidentical hormones, progesterone can become estrogen so easily. Dosing Hormone Replacement - Fast and Slow Metabolizers

24:13
Read more at www.biobalancehealth.com It is a Little-known fact that each person has his or her own individual metabolism that breaks down food, drugs, vitamins, and toxins such as alcohol and poisons down. When it comes to metabolism one size does not fit all! Metabolism determines the dose of hormones a patient needs and how often they need their hormone pellets. This is our subject for this week's Healthcast. My medical practice, BioBalance Health is centered on the replacement of bio-identical hormone pellets. The dosage of these pellets is the trickiest part of prescribing pellets and one of the reasons more doctors don't use them to replace hormones after andropause and menopause. Hormone pellets for women last between 3 and 6 months before they need to be re-dosed. We arrange the timing of the insertion of pellets so that the old pellets are still dissolving when the next pellets are replaced so there is no big fluctuation in blood levels before and after the new pellets are inserted. My specialized medical pellet training taught me the hormone pellet dose for the average size woman or man, for the average metabolism, and average level of physical activity. So we learn the dose for a 170 lb male who takes no other medications, drinks minimal alcohol, and exercises no more than 3 times a week for an hour each. I don't know about you but I rarely meet this average patient. In reality the hormonal dosage depends on many variables that are different for each individual. These variables depend on the following: how much hormone a person needs daily, genetically how sensitive that person is to estradiol and testosterone (the receptor sites on the cells); how quickly the fat dissolves the hormone pellets; how long the hormones spend circulating in the active form in the body; how fast the liver breaks the hormones down; and the speed of break-down through the liver. One of the most important facts that help me and any other doctor decide on dosage is how much medication you need when prescribed. An example, if do you need 2 rounds of antibiotics to get rid of an infection, or double the amount of sleep medicine to go to sleep? If this is typical for you, it means you have a fast metabolism and need more hormone dose, not less, or you need pellets more often. On the other hand, if you take ½ a narcotic and it knocks you out or one pain pill makes you silly or knock you out then you are in general a slow metabolizer, and would need less hormone dose to last 4-6 months.
Progesterone Cream & PCOS

08:00
Progesterone Dosage Below! How to use progesterone for PCOS There are two ways to use progesterone cream for PCOS. The first is the Suppression Cycle. To suppress the cycle one would use progesterone cream on cycle days 7-26. If you do not have a menstrual cycle you would choose a date on your calendar and mark it as day 7. Suppressing the cycle allows the body to rest by stopping the cycle of eggs not being released and estrogen/androgen dominance. Dr. John Lee suggests to use 60-100mg of progesterone cream a day during the suppression cycle and to repeat this for 3-4 months for best results. After you are done with the suppression cycle you will want to Establish a Cycle with Progesterone Cream. You can skip the Suppression Cycle and go directly to Establishing a cycle below. Establish a cycle with progesterone cream To help your body create a cycle including menstruation and ovulation, use progesterone cream on day 14 of your cycle and continue until day 26. By stopping on day 26 your progesterone levels will drop, helping to start your menstrual cycle. If your cycle does not start, just treat your cycle like you are having one and start again on day 14. It is best to use a calendar so you can keep track of everything. After 3 or so months it is suggested to take a break for 1 month so you can see if your cycle has jump started itself. For ovulation and pregnancy doing a Loading Dose: Loading dose is for women who have gone through years of no ovulation cycles. That would apply to majority of the PCOS Cysters out there. Each cycle that passes without ovulation can increase estrogen and decrease progesterone. According to Dr. John Lee a higher dose of Progesterone the first 2 months of cream use helps to replenish the progesterone stored in the fat of the body. After 2-3 months you can lower back down to a regular dose. Example: Loading dose: 40mg twice a day, one 40mg application in the morning and one 40mg application at night, for a total of 80mg of natural progesterone a day. Apply for two weeks before your period (about day 14 in the cycle), up until menstruation begins. Regular dose: 20mg twice a day, one 20mg application in the morning and one 20mg application at night, for a total of 40mg of natural progesterone a day. Apply for two weeks before your period (about day 14 in the cycle), up until menstruation begins. How To Apply Progesterone Cream

05:59
How to Use and Apply Progesterone Cream (for more information, visit www.MenopauseReliefToday.com) When you get around your late 30s all the way to your premenopause, perimenopause and menopause years, your hormones will likely become imbalanced. This hormone imbalance produces many symptoms in your body as well as your emotions. One of the very common symptoms women encounter during this period of time is called estrogen dominance. Now, many of you may question this thinking "hey, isn't menopause the time of life when my estrogen starts to decline?" And yes, that is true most often. But what we're talking about here is estrogen DOMINANCE -- meaning that the ratio of estrogen is too high compared with it's counter-balancing hormone progesterone. So even if you have very low estrogen, your progesterone can still be to low to counterbalance it. Some of the symptoms one can encounter when they have estrogen dominance are: fat gain, water retention, decreased sex drive, fatigue, depression, fibrocystic breasts, headaches, insomnia, hair loss, osteoporosis, breast cancer and uterine cancer. Estrogen dominance does make you more prone to these types of cancers. Natural progesterone cream is an easy remedy for estrogen dominance. A lot of people get confused when trying to determine what is considered "natural" these days, since manufacturers can proclaim all kinds of features on their labeling that may not be 100% true. But the progesterone cream we are talking about is bio-identical... the same molecular structure as is found within the human body. For more information and clarification on natural progesterone cream, visit the Resources section of our website at www.MenopauseReliefToday.com Also note, cream is the best way to take natural progesterone (aka "transdermal") HOW TO APPLY PROGESTERONE CREAM In the morning and at night, you put two pea-sized dollops of cream on your skin, typically in areas that you blush. Rub it in. The best places to apply are your face, neck, chest, breasts, inner forearms, palms and the soles of your feet if they're not too calloused. Rotate your application so the area does not get too over-saturated. In other words, if in the morning, you applied it to your face, in the evening, apply it to your inner forearms. If you accidentally skip a dose, it is okay to take the full daily dose (four pea-sized dollops) all at once. WHEN TO TAKE THE PROGESTERONE CREAM If you are still menstruating somewhat regularly, start to take the cream on day 10-12 of your cycle (counting the 1st day of your period as Day One). From day 10-on, apply the progesterone, morning and night, up until the first day of your next period. This way, you cycle your usage just as your body normally should. If you are in menopause (not having periods anymore), you will take the cream 24-26 consecutive days per month. The way most people find easiest to remember this is to skip the first 5-6 days of each month. FINAL THOUGHTS It is best to apply the progesterone cream after you have showered. You don't want to apply the cream and then just wash it all off. We hope this information helps you out! Testosterone Creams: Do They Work?

Many guys who cannot seem to get past the 300 or 400's with the weaker 1-2% lower dosed testosterone gels. Break-through those barriers easily with higher dosed 5-20% compounded testosterone creams. Knowledgeable doctors will strive to get you at the higher end of normal between 800-1200 ng/do on total testosterone (based off Lab Corps normal values of 348-1198) while maintaining associated areas such as estrogen, PSA, platelets and hemoglobin counts in healthy ranges. What is Anti-Aging Medicine and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?

10:23
For the last 60 years Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) involved using synthetic hormones to keep post menopausal women feeling young and forever feminine. Now, women are turning to bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) as a superior form of HRT. Bioidentical hormones are made in a laboratory usually from the components of yams to match exactly the molecular structure of the hormones that were normally made in the ovaries. The molecular structure of these hormones is indistinguishable from that of natural hormones produced in the body. Synthetic hormones come in a variety of delivery systems such as cream, BLA tablets, capsules or troches. Bio-identical hormones recently caught mainstream attention in part because of Suzanne Somer's new book, The Sexy Years. Typically a successful approach to dealing with a woman's menopausal symptoms is to begin with laboratory tests of hormone levels called a "hormone panel." The doctor can then prescribe a precise dosage of bio-identical estrogens, testosterone, progesterone or DHEA that can be made at a Follow Me Compounding Pharmacy. This is contrary to HRT treatments that are typically "one size fits all." BHRT for Men Andropause, also known as the male menopause, is the result of a gradual drop in testosterone which is an androgen, giving the condition its name. In many cases, bioidentical hormones can be part of the solution. When men get into their early 30s, they begin losing testosterone at a rate of one to two percent each year. According to the US Census Bureau, approximately 4-5 million men have symptoms of low testosterone levels and only 5-10% of these men will seek treatment. Testosterone replacement therapy is a treatment for men with low testosterone who want to boost their health and overall well-being. Fortunately, hormone losses and imbalances are easily correctible. Additionally, men experiencing andropause who want to get a grip on weight gain, lost libido, fatigue, stress, energy, muscle mass, and body fat are also finding solutions through this type hormone therapy. I'm hoping this (along with progesterone cream) will help with aging problems like BPH, incipient man boobs, and lack of muscle growth. It may do this by either increasing my Testosterone level or DECREASING my estrogen level or both. Wish me luck please.

Menopause Symptoms - Night Sweats, Insomnia and Progesterone

02:19
The Hormone Pharmacist here, talking about Menopause Symptoms - Night Sweats, Insomnia and Progesterone http://hormonepharmacist.com Are you getting close to 50? Having trouble sleeping? Waking up soaked? Having a hard time getting back to sleep? If so, you may be experiencing your first symptoms of menopause. I’m Steve Goldring, The Hormone Pharmacist. I’m here to talk about the best solutions to help you sleep during menopause. Night sweats, insomnia and hot flashes during the day are caused by the drop in your estrogen and progesterone levels at menopause. There are a lot of options out there that can be used to relieve your night sweats and insomnia. But for women with the most severe night sweats who just can’t sleep through the night, Progesterone replacement is the key. (1.) Progesterone isn’t the same as progestins, powerful synthetic hormones that work LIKE progesterone, but don’t even come close to replacing the progesterone your body needs. Here are some facts you need to know about progesterone: 1. Progesterone is sometimes called “bio-identical progesterone,” which means it’s chemically exactly the same as the hormone your body makes (or at least used to make) 2. Progesterone helps menopausal women have fewer night sweats, sleep better and even have fewer hot flashes during the day. 3. Progesterone has helped European menopausal women sleep for decades. In a survey of 100 thousand French menopausal women, the women who took Progesterone had lower breast cancer rates than women who took medroxyprogesterone, the most commonly prescribed progestin in the U.S.. (2., 3., 4., 5.) Progesterone is readily available from any pharmacy in the U.S., as an FDA approved oil filled capsule for menopause symptoms. Progesterone is also available from compounding pharmacies in other dosage forms like sublingual troches and transdermal creams. I’m here to help you understand the sometimes confusing world of hormones for menopause. I’m constantly looking at the latest research on hormones and breaking it down so it’s easy to understand. Visit my website to sign up for menopause hormone updates and receive a report I put together called “Menopause Symptoms - The Solution No One is Promoting Or Even Talking About.” It gives you the details about a specific hormone replacement combination that’s the simplest and, I believe, the best solution for menopause symptoms. Thanks and I’ll catch you on my next video, which touches on intimacy issues in menopause. References: 1. Eichling PS, Sahni J. Menopause related sleep disorders. Dyspareunia Part 2: Estriol for Vaginal Menopause Symptoms

02:22
The Hormone Pharmacist talks about estriol, used in Europe for vaginal menopause symptoms and available from compounding pharmacies in the U.S. http://hormonepharmacist.com Are you struggling with vaginal dryness, irritation and maybe even painful intimacy? Hi. I’m Steve Goldring, the Hormone Pharmacist and I’m here to talk with you about Dyspareunia and how Estriol can help with menopause intimacy issues. As I mentioned in my last video, menopause causes changes in vaginal tissue that make intimacy uncomfortable. One study showed 44% of menopausal women saying intimacy was painful, that’s called Dyspareunia. Even women who weren’t sexually active complained of vaginal dryness, itching and irritation after menopause. In my last video, I went over some FDA approved estradiol products that reverse vaginal menopause symptoms. Another option, vaginal Estriol, also called E3, is available in the U.S. from compounding pharmacies. Estriol is one of the weakest bio-identical estrogens, exactly the same as an estrogen your body makes. Estriol has been prescribed as Ovestin® oral tablets or vaginal cream to treat vaginal menopause symptoms in Europe, Australia and the U.K. For over 20 years. In the U.S., a compounding pharmacist can make up estriol prescribed by your doctor in a vaginal suppository, troche or cream. Because it’s not FDA approved, estriol is covered by only a few insurance companies. You’ll pay around $50 to $70 for a vaginal estriol prescription, but that’s at least $100 less than most of the commercially available vaginal products. Estriol cream or suppositories are inserted vaginally once a day at bedtime, every night for a couple of weeks. After that, the dose is cut back to 2-3 times weekly. This regimen helps to build up vaginal tissue and reverse vaginal atrophy. Less frequent estriol doses help maintain that healthy vaginal tissue. Since Estriol is a weaker estrogen, it’s not used as often by itself for hot flashes, but it can really help with vaginal issues. Talk with your doctor about the possibility of getting a prescription for estriol from a specialty compounding pharmacy. There are some promising clinical trials going on with vaginal DHEA that I’ll tell you about in my next video, Part 3 in this series on treatment of vaginal menopause symptoms. To stay informed about when I upload new videos, subscribe to my channel on YouTube. Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy for Women

31:07
http://drhedberg.com/natural-hormone-replacement-therapy-for-women/ Learn everything you need to know about Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy for Women including all of your options, symptoms, best testing methods and much, much more. Dr. Nikolas Hedberg discusses natural hormone replacement for women. Dr. Hedberg is a board-certified naturopathic physician and is board-certified in nutrition. He works with many women with hormone imbalances, thyroid problems, adrenal gland imbalances, and what we would call sex or reproductive hormone imbalances. This video also discusses hormone replacement therapy. This is a popular topic. Dr. Hedberg also discusses Adrenal imbalances, which are extremely common in our society today because we’re overworked and overstressed. If you do have low progesterone, progesterone replacement can provide some good benefits, someone may notice their mood gets better. Then these issues with estrogen, like uterine fibroids, endometriosis, fibrocystic breast, where there is usually too much estrogen, progesterone will help to balance that. Progesterone does facilitate the thyroid, so some women will notice improvements in their metabolism, their body temperature, better sleep. That’s because progesterone has an overall calming effect on the brain, on the nervous system. It helps to calm women down. That’s why a lot of women like to take it at night to sleep better, better blood sugar metabolism. It really helps with many of the menopausal symptoms, especially hot flashes. It’s a natural diuretic, so if you’re holding a lot of water, it can help there. Progesterone really helps to build bone. Estrogen helps to maintain the quality of the bone and testosterone makes sure that the bone is very rigid and very hard. So you need a healthy balance of all three of those. Then, if you’re still cycling, progesterone can help with PMS. Your body makes actually three different types of estrogen, estrone, estrodiol and estriol. This is about the actual percentages that your body makes. Premarin is primarily estrone. Estrace is 100% estradiol. Note For the Hearing Impaired: This video contains accurate Closed Captions. Dr. Capasso Hormone Replacement Expert Jacksonville Florida - Jax Fl.

http://letsgothin.com/hormones 904-694-0992 For a no-cost bioidentical hormone evaluation. In Jacksonville Florida, Dr. Anthony Capasso, expert at The Thin Centers MD Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy program can also help to improve numerous different symptoms, which may include thinning hair, wrinkling skin, hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue, insomnia, sexual dysfunction, insomnia, and porous bones. Hormones, chemicals produces with the body, are responsible for development and growth from the time we are born through puberty and the remainder of the aging process. Hormones control the chemical balance that triggers our nervous and immune systems, metabolism, reproduction, and other bodily functions. Regular hormone levels fluctuate and decline as we age. This progression can affect both men and women physically and mentally depending on the individual. Because hormones control a wide variety of functions in the body, imbalances can lead to less than optimal states of health. Bioidentical hormones are unique in that they are exact copies of the body’s own hormones, and the body cannot tell the difference between the bioidentical hormones and its own endogenous hormones. For this reason, the body can easily use the bioidentical hormones to make up for an inadequate amount of available hormones in the body. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Process In 1930, doctors developed hormone replacement supplements to alleviate the symptoms of menopause. “Bioidentical” was the very first supplement. Essentially, the molecular structure of the supplement is identical to the patients’ own molecular structures. The treatment originally addressed symptoms including weight gain, hot flashes, night sweats, and so on. Over a decade later, doctors developed synthetic hormone supplements. The widely distributed synthetic hormones of the time were not identical to the patients’ molecular structures, in contrast to bioidentical. Synthetic hormones were derived from other animals, specifically from pregnant horse urine. This hormone replacement often caused side effects including nausea, dizziness, and fluid retention. Pharmaceutical companies, such as Upjohn, have been producing bioidentical hormones for over 70 years. Bioidentical hormones are plant-derived supplements, which are usually comprised of soy and yam. Once the bioidentical powders have been manufactured, “compounding” pharmacies create topical creams according doctors’ prescription. Creams are preferred because when bioidentical hormones are taken orally they go straight to the liver, which converts them into a different hormone. Therefore the preferred method of delivery for bioidentical hormones is in the form of creams or gels or sub-cutaneous suppositories, which are absorbed directly from the skin into the bloodstream. There are many benefits and advantages to using bioidentical hormones. A key element in effective hormone replacement treatment is using the proper dosage (based on the patient’s needs). The window for the right hormone balance is narrow and varies from person to person. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy takes into account this delicate process to achieve the best possible results. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy benefits include: Weight loss Increased sex drive Hair and nail improvement Lower cholesterol Emotional balance improvement More stable mental health Increased memory ability Decreased osteoporosis risk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estrogen#Binge_eating Binge eating Research suggests that estrogen may play a role in suppressing binge eating. Hormone replacement therapy using estrogen may be a possible treatment for binge eating behaviors in females. Estrogen replacement has been shown to suppress binge eating behaviors in female mice. The mechanism by which estrogen replacement inhibits binge-like eating involves the replacement of serotonin (5-HT) neurons. Women exhibiting binge eating behaviors are found to have increased brain uptake of neuron 5-HT, and therefore less of the neurotransmitter serotonin in the cerebrospinal fluid. Data has shown that estrogen works to activate 5-HT neurons, leading to suppression of binge like eating behaviors. At the Thin Centers MD clinic in Jacksonville Fl., Dr. Anthony Capasso, Hormone Replacement Expert, and trained in administering bioidentical hormones can work with you to relieve hormone imbalance. Providing biochemical hormones that match your molecular structure exactly will allow you to feel like you did in your younger years. If you want to live your life to its fullest, you now have the chance to do so. WHat is HORMONAL BREAST ENHANCEMENT? What does HORMONAL BREAST ENHANCEMENT mean?

What is HORMONAL BREAST ENHANCEMENT? What does HORMONAL BREAST ENHANCEMENT mean? HORMONAL BREAST ENHANCEMENT meaning - HORMONAL BREAST ENHANCEMENT definition -HORMONAL BREAST ENHANCEMENT explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ Hormonal breast enhancement or augmentation is a highly experimental potential medical treatment for the breasts in which hormones or hormonal agents such as estrogen, progesterone, growth hormone (GH), and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) are utilized or manipulated to produce breast enlargement in women. It is a possible alternative or supplement to surgical breast augmentation with breast implants or fat transfer and other means of medical breast enlargement. In addition to pharmaceuticals, some herbal breast enlargement supplements contain phytoestrogens such as 8-prenylnaringenin (found in hops) and miroestrol (a constituent of Pueraria mirifica) and thus may be regarded as a form of hormonal breast enhancement. However, evidence of their effectiveness, as well as safety data, are lacking. At puberty, estrogen, but not progesterone at this time, and GH/IGF-1 are critical in mediating the development of the breasts, and are synergistic in doing so. In accordance, hormonal contraception and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with estrogen (and/or progestogens) have been associated with increased breast growth and breast size. Moreover, a trial of hormonal breast enhancement in 45 young women with very high doses (80 mg/injection) of intramuscular, bioidentical estrogen (in the form of estradiol polyphosphate, a slow-releasing estradiol prodrug) for six months found that only the women in whom an increase in IGF-1 levels occurred after four weeks (46.7% of subjects) experienced a significant increase in breast size (824.3 mm to 898.5 mm). This is in accordance with the established fact that both estrogen and IGF-1 appear to be essential for breast development, and when present together, are synergistic in mediating it. The administration of estrogen to women with Turner syndrome, who normally do not develop breasts due to hypogonadism, results in normal pubertal breast development. Estrogen and GH are often combined in Turner syndrome. Estrogen in combination with GH or IGF-1 has been employed safely and effectively to improve bone density in women with anorexia nervosa. Trans women who are treated with estrogen experience normal pubertal breast development similarly to the case of girls with Turner syndrome. However, they generally show a smaller final breast size in comparison to their immediate relatives (one cup size less on average). This is perhaps due to the fact that most trans women do not commence HRT until adulthood, which is of relevance because GH/IGF-1 levels significantly and progressively decrease after normal adolescent puberty (from late adolescence/early adulthood and thereafter). As such, synergy of estrogen with GH/IGF-1, and by extension, maximal breast development potential, may be reduced. Systemic administration of GH or IGF-1 causes mammary hyperplasia (enlargement of the mammary glands) in animals. For example, in a study of aged female rhesus macaques, treatment with GH alone, IGF-1 alone, and the combination of GH and IGF-1, were found to produce mammary gland hyperplasia and increased mammary gland size and epithelial proliferation by 2-fold, 3- to 4-fold, and 4- to 5-fold, respectively, changes that were directly correlated with serum concentrations of GH and IGF-1. Accordingly, research has found that girls with growth hormone deficiency (GHD) who are treated with GH experience accelerated breast growth and that boys with GHD treated with GH sometimes experience gynecomastia. Moreover, IGF-1 levels and activity have been found to be correlated with breast volume in the female general population. In women with Laron syndrome, where the growth hormone receptor (GHR) is defective and insensitive to GH and serum IGF-1 levels are very low, puberty, including breast development, is delayed, although full sexual maturity is always eventually reached. Moreover, breast development and size are normal (albeit delayed) in spite of GH/IGF-1 axis insufficiency, and in some the breasts may actually be large in relation to body size (which has been hypothesized to be due to increased secretion of prolactin caused by a drift phenomenon from somatomammotrophic cells in the pituitary gland with a high GH secretion).....

Bio Identical Hormone Replacement for Women Dr. Adrian Hohenwarter

07:06
This is a short video introducing you to my hormone program for women. Some years ago, I learned that I had a hard time watching people age, especially watching beautiful women age. And this helped encourage me to have more of an interest in hormone compounding, or hormone replacement therapy. In the 1990s, I began studying the benefits of compounded medications. And I was using various compounding pharmacies. Now, the benefits of compounded hormones is that we can prepare topical transdermal progesterone, which is not available commercially. We can also use the third estrogen, the weaker estrogen known as estriol. Estriol has data which would suggest strongly that it may be protective against breast cancer. And this is why integrative doctors tend to use biestrogen, which means it has two estrogens. So back in the '90s, I began using various compounding pharmacies. And I was aware I was getting very inconsistent results, as each compounding pharmacy did things a little differently. And so the benefit of this was that I learned that a particular formulation seemed to work the best. So around 2000, I began compounding my own hormones. And this has allowed me to have very consistent results in both my men and my female patients. So the typical patients who come see me are both pre- peri-, and post-menopausal women. Now, premenopausal women tend to have what's called estrogen dominance, which means they have too much estrogen in proportion to progesterone. At the same time, they may also be hypothyroid. And progesterone deficiency can worsen hypothyroidism. Another common scenario is women who have been taking birth control pills for many years. Birth control pills do not have any progesterone. They have imitations known as progestins, which do have a progesterone effect in the uterus. But they worsen progesterone deficiency in the rest of the body. So women who have been taking birth control pills will have an increased risk of breast cancer. And they also have progesterone deficiency symptoms and estrogen excess symptoms. PMS is also due to insufficient progesterone-- bloating, moodiness, tender breasts, painful periods, fibrocystic breast disease. So if you are pre-menopausal, having any these symptom-- and others as well-- you may benefit from progesterone. In fact, most women after the age of 30 or 35, and even younger, often are deficient in progesterone. Now, peri-menopausal patients are women over age 50 who are missing periods. And they start to notice that they are not functioning as they used to. They're having, maybe, poor memories or foggy thinking. They begin sleeping poorly. And then, they get the obvious hot flashes, night sweats, and, eventually, vaginal dryness, decreased libido. So I see a lot of women who are menopausal-- even some young women-- who get on my hormone program and do very well. And often, they feel better than they felt when they were younger, because now we can balance their hormones using the transdermal progesterone biestrogen, or estradiol. And many women are also tested and found to be deficient in testosterone, which in my experience, is really liked by my patients. It helps them not only with libido, it helps them with work performance, energy, weight loss, mood. So if you're going through menopause, I would encourage you to make an appointment to come see me. We have women who travel from hours away-- even out of state-- to come see me for my very affordable compounded hormone program. Many of these patients see me once a year, as required. And they do so well all year long that they don't need to see me any more frequently than that. So if you are a woman, and you see yourself aging, and not feeling like you used to. If you're younger, just had several babies, and your mood and your energy and your weight are not the same, you would probably benefit from seeing me. If you're older, and going through menopause, I encourage you to see me about your option to use compounded HRT, known as bioidentical hormones. It's very affordable. And we can control your dose, and customize it for you specifically. And I think you'll be pleased with the results. Fight FDA Restrictions on Hormone Pellets

18:05
I ask my bioidentical hormone pellet patients to take immediate action that could affect your ability to receive hormone pellets in the future. There is a rule before the FDA that, if adopted, would prohibit compounding pharmacies from sending hormones across state lines. This includes the hormone pellets BioBalance Health uses for your treatment! It is my strong opinion that the FDA does not like compounded medicines, including hormones, because they have less control over them than regular pharmaceuticals. BioBalance Health has been getting our pellets from a pharmacy in Colorado for over 13 years, and my mentor, Gino Tutera, used the same compounding pharmacies for over ten years before I did. I have tried pellets compounded in my state and have found them to be inconsistent in dose and quality, and they had additional side effects. For the sake of my practice, and the treatment I provide, I am unwilling to take risks, so WE MUST BE ABLE TO ORDER PELLETS FROM OUT OF STATE! The FDA wants to take this away from us. I have written a letter to the FDA stating my position (see link below), and I ask you to write your own letter, telling them what hormone pellets have meant to you. I believe that this action by the FDA is the first chip away at the compounding pharmacy industry, and if adopted, will be followed by more laws, paperwork and controls until it will not be affordable to practice medicine with bioidentical hormones. If Biobalance Health pellets have made a difference in your health and well-being, please click here to go to the Federal Register website. That page includes the memorandum with details of the rule that concerns us. In the upper right corner of that page is a green button titled, SUBMIT A FORMAL COMMENT. Click it to access the comment form. I suggest you begin with something like, “I do not agree with the proposed rule to prevent interstate commerce of compounded medications.” Continue by describing the difference bioidentical hormone pellets have made in your life. Be concise — short is better than long — and tell them how losing access to compounded hormone pellets would adversely affect your life. BioBalance Health currently has no trusted compounding pharmacies in Missouri. Please help me and yourself by making your voice heard! How LifeLike28 works!

02:21
Want to know more about LifeLike28? This video talks about the differences between the hormones in our body, traditional hormone therapy, and LifeLike28. Based on that information, you can see how LifeLike28 is a revolutionary program designed to help the hormones in your body start acting naturally again. What can we say, it comes to us naturally! ----------------------------------------------------- Transcript ------------------------------------------------------ We started LifeLike28 in response to the prescribing habits physicians specializing in the functional medicine field were exhibiting. At our practices, we saw a majority of crude attempts by several renowned physicians trying to establish some sort of cyclic component in the drug regimen prescribed for their patients. For example, with respect to Progesterone, some physicians were prescribing transdermal hormones six days out of the week, off on the seventh day. Others would indicate a static dose of Progesterone on days fourteen through twenty eight, or twelve through twenty eight, there was no set protocol to follow! Likewise, with respect to Estradiol, we would often see a prescription requiring the static dose of Estradiol for women on cycle days one through twelve, one through thirteen, one through seventeen; the numbers would vary to a large extent depending on the prescriber. All of these variations made quite clear that adding a cyclic variable component to the dosing regimen was something physicians were very interested in prescribing. Therefore, we came to the realization that replicating a natural pattern for how Estradiol and Progesterone hormone levels fluctuate over the course of a normal healthy cycle might be the solution for all these dosing struggles physicians were facing. Also, keep in mind that up to now, there weren't any devices in the market suitable for patients to self-administer such dosages in a life-like fashion. In fact, even with well-known devices that delivers static dosages, the accuracy was not there to begin with. In 2012, we developed a device that will forever change the way transdermal hormones were to be administered to the general population. The device offers the ability to deliver both static and variable dosages of transdermal cream or gel compositions, while maintaining patient compliance, accuracy, and ease of use. There are numerous American and European studies that have shown positive outcomes with cyclical hormone therapy versus static therapy, with respect to incidences of myocardial infarction, stroke, and other health conditions. Therefore, LifeLike28 was also developed with all of that research in mind.

Dr Paul Savage has been treating men in Chicago with testosterone since the late 1990's. "Low T" Testosterone therapy is effective to increase libido, muscle mass, energy and can make you feel more like a man. We don't recommend creams and patches for testosterone administration. 2 Most Effective Testosterone Therapies: -testosterone injections, once a week (Cypionate or Enanthate) -testosterone pellet therapy Testosterone Injections vs Pellet Therapy Injections are very cost effective but they can be inconvenient. In this case we use testosterone pellet therapy. You come into the office every 3-6 months to get small pellets inserted under your skin and they metabolize over time to give you the proper dose. Fabulous Weight Loss- Before and After Pictures

►►http://tinyurl.com/4QLoss◄◄— ►►http://tinyurl.com/4QLoss◄◄— ►►http://tinyurl.com/4QLoss◄◄— and making me doubt in some ways my choice to marry him. But on a personality level we seem so perfect for each other, but it bothers me that I don't seem to be even remotely attracted to him at this point. Is any of this normal? I feel like I am evil, but I don't know what to do about it. Testosterone helps with the libido and estrogen helps with the lubrication and condition of the vaginal tissues. Yesterday my doc Rx me Estrace cream to be used intravaginally twice/week. He said it would help with the pain with intercourse. I also am using transdermal estrogen in low dose, which probably need to be increased. It's important to know that you should not supplement testosterone unless estrogen is a optimal levels or you will have side effects. Have any of your docs checked your hormone levels or suggested a trial of hormones?. No, no one has checked my hormones to my knowledge. Just done the normal "exams" and stated that my anatomy was normal. My first OB was going to try my on some estrogen cream I think, but we moved and then my insurance didn't renew their contract with her and I couldn't see her anymore. Then I went to a crazy one who told me to use plain taper candles to just stretch it out in there. By that point, I really just felt like dying and what point would there have been. I figured I might talk to my new Armour prescribing doc when I see him on Wednesday, but wanted to be armed with a bit of info prior to going in there. Though, really, I still feel right now like I could give a whip if I ever had sex. It's not like I am missing it, since I have never really had it. Low estrogen is a very common cause of painful sex. And the no libido can definitely be due to low testosterone. Of course, getting thyroid optimized is helpful also. Are you on any meds that could be causing problems?. Are there any other negative things going on with your relationship with your husband? In your case, it probably is a physiological cause, but I just wanted to throw out there that painful intercourse can have psychological causes too. I experienced it myself with an ex boyfriend who I subconsciously knew didn't love me. In the beginning of our relationship, it didn't hurt at all then towards the end it started to. My heart was somewhat guarded, therefore my body tried to "guard" itself against him as well. After we broke up, we ended up having no-strings-attached sex once or twice and it didn't hurt AT ALL. I had been on anti-depressants, but that was after painful sex. In fact, when we got married, I was on no drugs at all. I am such a wreck at this point, that I don't even know myself. But we weren't having any problems like that when we first got married, so I can't imagine that it is completely that, even if it is partially that. At this point, I am largely feeling guilty that I now have my husband sort of trapped in a marriage that must be extremely unfulfilling for him. I highly recommend you find a doctor who will prescribe bioidentical Estrace vaginal cream and a tiny amount of testosterone cream. I would be surprised if you did not get some results
