Zoloft vs. Paxil: Desperate for Relief of Paxil Withdrawal

09:58
Again, I do NOT recommend anyone to do what I had done. It is not common that what I had done resulted in negative consequences but it carries possibility and do not take such a risk. Despite my stupidity and personal disgust over SSRI's and the lack of discontinuation "syndrome" acknowledgment and support by the very people that prescribe them, it is still best that you do seek counsel. Just advocate for you and your situation. I cannot stress this enough. Do not take risks when it comes to your life. What I had done, despite the fact I currently feel swell carries way too much of a risk for me to ethically recommend to anyone. The decision described in this vlog was due to the emotional, physical and mental strain of the withdrawal. Secondly, I truly recognized that I am needed by others, which only further shows how irresponsible this act of desperation was. SEEK MEDICAL AND/OR PSYCHIATRIC ATTENTION IF YOU HAVE SUICIDAL THOUGHTS, HOMICIDAL THOUGHTS, OR ANY SORT OF EXPERIENCES THAT MAKE YOU SUSPICIOUS THAT YOU HAVE EVEN THE SMALLEST CHANCE OF CAUSING HARM TO YOURSELF OR TO ANOTHER. PLEASE & THANK YOU. For those tapering and currently hurting from withdrawals from these SSRI's ... my heart goes out to you.

My Introduction to Paxil

09:07
I was prescribed Paxil about 6.5-7 months ago. Regardless of what the doctor had told me, there are side effects and they are not pleasant. Since beginning Paxil, I had decided to get off of this drug and so far not so good. I do not feel that my problems warranted this prescription and I was ignorant and naïve and now ... I am so filled with rage over the makers of this poison and the doctors that hand it out like candy.

How SSRIs (Paxil) Really Messed Me Up

09:46
Paxil, Prozac and Zooloft are all fluoride pills. In 1998 I convinced a psychiatrist to prescribe me Paxil for Social Anxiety Disorder due to Excessive Sweating. Both of these so called diseases were merely the result of a poor diet consisting of too much meat, carbs, sugar, caffiene and alcohol. A truly raw food diet will eliminate excessive sweating and prove your self control resulting in self confidence and personal power. (Also, forgive me for saying Celbrexa. I meant Cymbalta.) http://www.paxilprogress.org http://www.ahrp.org/risks/aldred0404.php http://www.facebook/mtbikemike

Luvox Review- really good for Pure O/OCD!

07:30
Hey guys, this video is my experience with Luvox (not the CR kind). I have been on it for about 2 months now and it is by far the best SSRI I have tried for my anxiety and Pure O. Remember that this was FOR ME. Everybody is different.. some people might like it like I do, some people might not. I'm not a medical professional, just someone with a lot of personal experience with anxiety. - I am currently on a 150mg dose (75mg in am, 75mg in pm). I notice when I go down in dose, the obsessive thinking gets rough, so I try and keep it at this level. I don't like going higher because the side effects suck! - Side effects for me include loss of appetite (anorexia is the medical term), slight nausea, insomnia (esp. the first couple of weeks), mild headaches, drowsiness, and lowered libido. - Most of these side effects subsided after 3 weeks max, but I still do not have much of an appetite and I have a much lower libido. - OVERALL I REALLY like this medication for my obsessive thinking/anxiety disorder. It really chilled me out and I do enjoy life more with this. This video isn't sponsored. I hope this is helpful; let me know if you have any questions! Thanks y'all :)

Do SSRI's cause sexual dysfunction?

08:00
Thanks to Vlogbrothers for their sponsorship of this video!! Many of you have asked me about SSRI's or SNRI's and sexual dysfunction. I know that this is a concern for many people because sex is normal part of life for many of us. I broke this video down into a conversation about 3 main neurotransmitters that are believed to be involved in sexual dysfunction. They are: serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. Each of these neurotransmitters could in some way play a role in our ability to be interested in sex, be able to have sex, or our ability to achieve an orgasm. Obviously everyone's experience with medication is going to be different, but I hope that this video helps explain why sexual dysfunction happens on some medication and what questions you should ask your doctor when talking about medication or starting a new one. xox WEBSITE http://www.katimorton.com TWITTER http://www.twitter.com/katimorton FACEBOOK http://www.facebook.com/katimorton1 TUMBLR http://www.katimorton.tumblr.com PINTEREST http://www.pinterest.com/katimorton1 HELP! Paxil - Social Anxiety Commercial

01:01
In 1992, the FDA approved the drug Paroxetine (Paxil) Only after GSK, the makers of Paxil started advertising a condition defined as "social anxiety disorder" was when their profits have skyrocketed with billions of prescriptions around the world being dispensed. GSK has disclosed information about the dangers of this drug such as severe withdrawals and birth defects. As a result GSK has had many lawsuits over the years: http://injury.findlaw.com/product-liability/paxil-lawsuit-information.html Class action lawsuits against Paxil have cost the manufacturers billions in patient compensation. Paxil producer, GlaxoSmithKline, was met with Paxil lawsuits and charges ranging from wrongful death to birth defects. Another charge among the Paxil lawsuits was antitrust claims. GlaxoSmithKline was recently ordered to pay a fine totaling over $3 billion for Paxil lawsuit cases. Prosecutors allege that the company is guilty of illegal promotion of the medication. Paxil was advertised as being safe and effective for the treatment of depression in children. However, this was done despite the FDA never approving the use of Paxil for anyone under the age of 18. In 2007, GlaxoSmithKline was requested to submit negative data reports in a Paxil lawsuit case in New York. The company was accused of misrepresenting data for prescribing Paxil to children. Since then, the company has been ordered to contribute any available new data regarding medical problems for the next 10 years. http://www.drugdangers.com/ssri/paxil/lawsuit.htm

09:18
(Psychiatric Drugs Are More Dangerous than You Ever Imagined) Vídeo original no canal - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luKsQaj0hzs CIENTISTAS CONFIRMAM QUE ANTIDEPRESSIVOS PIORAM PROBLEMAS DE SAÚDE MENTAL. Widow Sues GSK Over Husband’s Alleged Paxil-Induced Suicide - NBC 5 Chicago

04:08
https://www.baumhedlundlaw.com/widow-blames-weak-warning-label-on-generic-paxil-for-husbands-suicide/ ► A case in Chicago federal court has the potential to change the prescription drug landscape, per NBC 5 Chicago. Aired in May of 2014, this video tells the story behind lifelong Chicagoan Stewart Dolin’s alleged Paxil-induced suicide, and his wife’s subsequent lawsuit against the maker of Paxil, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). On July 10, 2010, 57-year-old Stewart Dolin began taking the prescription antidepressant medication paroxetine, the generic version of Paxil. GSK researched, developed, manufactured and marketed Paxil, which is the same chemical compound as paroxetine, and both use the same product information labeling. On the afternoon of July 15, 2010, a nurse at a subway station near Washington Street in Chicago noticed Stewart Dolin pacing back and forth while looking in the direction of an approaching train that was not yet in sight. When the moving train appeared, the nurse observed Mr. Dolin leap onto the tracks, where he was struck. Ultimately, Mr. Dolin was pronounced dead from the injuries he suffered due to the collision and his contact with the electrified track after the collision. The lawsuit alleges GSK failed to adequately warn Mr. Dolin’s doctor about Paxil/paroxetine’s association with an increased risk of suicidal behavior in adults of all ages. The Court previously ruled that while GSK did not manufacture the pills Mr. Dolin ingested, the company was nonetheless responsible for the label and knew or should have known any failure to warn would result in harm to those taking generic versions of the drug. Generic drug makers are not permitted by law to change the labels produced by brand name drug makers – they are required to duplicate the language provided by the brand word for word. So, if a consumer alleges that a generic drug caused them harm, they are in what Dolin’s attorney, Brent Wisner, characterizes as a “donut hole of liability.” "That's where you have the generic maker on one hand saying, 'We don't know about these risks. We can't be held responsible for them... plus, we can't change the label,'" Wisner told NBC 5 in a special report on the Dolin case. "And the brand name makers are saying, 'Well, we didn't make the pill.'" According to Wisner, "the label as it existed was not sufficient… In fact, it says the risk of suicide does not extend beyond the age of 24. That's in the Black Box, the first thing you read. And that is factually incorrect and misleading." Click here to subscribe to Baum Hedlund’s YouTube Channel ► http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=baum+hedlund Let’s Connect! I quit Paxil cold turkey; this is not recommended because of the dangers of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor withdrawal (SSRI, the Paxil class of drugs). This is a short video mentioning that fact.
