My Introduction to Paxil

09:07
I was prescribed Paxil about 6.5-7 months ago. Regardless of what the doctor had told me, there are side effects and they are not pleasant. Since beginning Paxil, I had decided to get off of this drug and so far not so good. I do not feel that my problems warranted this prescription and I was ignorant and naïve and now ... I am so filled with rage over the makers of this poison and the doctors that hand it out like candy.

Lexapro

19:17
Lexapro or escitalopram may treat depression and anxiety. Actually Lexapro contains the same active component as Celexa. Aggressive marketing promoting the drug as superior to other available options succeeded in boosting total sales well in excess of $14 billion. Unfortunately studies fail to show Lexapro offers any unique advantages over other similar SSRIs such as Prozac, Paxil and Zoloft. Recent investigations suggest not only are antidepressants overprescribed but their effectiveness compared to inactive placebo therapy remains subject to debate.

How I got off Paxil quickly

04:46
After being "paxil free" for 2 weeks I decided to share how I did it. Ween with very little withdrawal. Disclaimer: Always consult with a medical professional before stopping ANY medication!!!! Withdrawals going cold turkey were very difficult to deal with. Tried twice and it was terrible. Alternatively, my weening process took about 2 months, and it was not all that bad! This is an explanation of how I succeeded, not on how YOU should do it. Comment with any questions or clarifications on the video. Share with others who could benefit in knowing it is possible to be paxil free.

Zoloft vs. Paxil: Desperate for Relief of Paxil Withdrawal

09:58
Again, I do NOT recommend anyone to do what I had done. It is not common that what I had done resulted in negative consequences but it carries possibility and do not take such a risk. Despite my stupidity and personal disgust over SSRI's and the lack of discontinuation "syndrome" acknowledgment and support by the very people that prescribe them, it is still best that you do seek counsel. Just advocate for you and your situation. I cannot stress this enough. Do not take risks when it comes to your life. What I had done, despite the fact I currently feel swell carries way too much of a risk for me to ethically recommend to anyone. The decision described in this vlog was due to the emotional, physical and mental strain of the withdrawal. Secondly, I truly recognized that I am needed by others, which only further shows how irresponsible this act of desperation was. SEEK MEDICAL AND/OR PSYCHIATRIC ATTENTION IF YOU HAVE SUICIDAL THOUGHTS, HOMICIDAL THOUGHTS, OR ANY SORT OF EXPERIENCES THAT MAKE YOU SUSPICIOUS THAT YOU HAVE EVEN THE SMALLEST CHANCE OF CAUSING HARM TO YOURSELF OR TO ANOTHER. PLEASE & THANK YOU. For those tapering and currently hurting from withdrawals from these SSRI's ... my heart goes out to you.

Paxil, Prozac and Zooloft are all fluoride pills. In 1998 I convinced a psychiatrist to prescribe me Paxil for Social Anxiety Disorder due to Excessive Sweating. Both of these so called diseases were merely the result of a poor diet consisting of too much meat, carbs, sugar, caffiene and alcohol. A truly raw food diet will eliminate excessive sweating and prove your self control resulting in self confidence and personal power. (Also, forgive me for saying Celbrexa. I meant Cymbalta.) http://www.paxilprogress.org http://www.ahrp.org/risks/aldred0404.php http://www.facebook/mtbikemike

Day 5 of Paroxetine (Paxil) Detox/Withdrawal

09:09
I am having to taper off of my daily 20 mg dose of Paxil that I have been on for over a year to help treat the symptoms of my bi-polar disorder. I have been doing a lot of research and found that Paxil is one of the *hardest* SSRI drugs to get off of. I decided to share my symptoms and my progress so that it can either help others on their detox journey and/or help people decide *against* going on Paxil to begin with. I am *very* open to suggestions and advice on how to make this detox more easier on myself. UPDATE (10/25/14): SINCE THIS VIDEO I HAVE OBTAINED INSURANCE THROUGH THE OBAMACARE PROGRAM (I am forever grateful for this program as it has literally saved my life). I HAVE BEEN MEETING MONTHLY WITH A COUNSELOR AND PSYCHIATRIST AND HAVE BEGUN A PROGRAM CONSISTING OF LEXAPRO FOR DEPRESSION, ABILIFY FOR ANXIETY AND TRAZODONE FOR THE INSOMNIA. THE WITHDRAWALS FROM THE PAXIL LASTED ABOUT TWO WEEKS BEFORE I STARTED TO FEEL BETTER. I WAS WITHOUT ANTI-DEPRESSANTS OF ALL KINDS UNTIL JULY 2014 AFTER I WAS ADMITTED TO A HOSPITAL FOR A SUICIDAL THOUGHTS. THEN I BEGAN THE PROGRAM I AM CURRENTLY ON NOW. UPDATE (8/11/18) SINCE MY LAST UPDATE I AM CURRENTLY OFF OF ALL ANTI DEPRESSENT MEDICATION! IN 2015 I WAS SWITCHED TO LEXAPRO ONLY. AFTER HAVING GASTRIC SLEEVE SURGERY IN 2015 AND DROPPING 100 LBS I STARTED TO FEEL "BACK TO MYSELF" AND WEANED OFF IN DECEMBER 2015.

PAXIL withdrawal

04:55
I WENT TO HELL AND BACK FOR ONLY $4.00 BUCKS!!! Took Paxil and now im suffering. Awful medication. Be careful. This is what happens once you stop it. Cut me some slack, i know im talking weird, and rambling, but this is the real thing.. and it sucks! A minor correction: that was a Lincoln Zephyr that i kicked.. i know that i was at fault by doing that! Its just that all the emotions, having to go to work unwillingly, and constant stress all this combined with Paxil withdrawals led me to do something i never thought i would ever in my life do.

Enemy Number One: Paxil SSRI Withdrawal

07:22
Ok, first off, I want to make sure that I make it clear that what I had done was not wise. I do not want to come across as though I have the answers, because I do not. I may "think" that I have the answers for me, which may very well be the answer for you but it most definitely will NOT be the answer for many. I do not encourage anyone to do what I have done. During this entire ordeal I had not sought professional psychiatric or medical care whatsoever. If you're feeling really bad (you know what I mean here) then you need to see someone and not be as stubborn, ignorant, or take the risks that I have taken. I do not want to influence a single person in the wrong direction. My words are only for support, encouragement in a sense, but not to be highly influential in the choices that are right for YOU. Think about it passively if you wish, but don't take it any more seriously than that. PLEASE!!! This drug is a monster and a half. Be kind to yourself, please. Thank you.

SARA CARLIN - DEATH BY PAXIL

06:33
PAXIL/SEROXAT SUFFERERS http://fiddaman.blogspot.com/ On May 6, 2007, Sara Carlin, a beautiful 18-year-old girl with everything to live for, grabbed a piece of electrical wiring, fashioned a crude noose and hanged herself in the basement of her parents house while under the influence of the antidepressant drug Paxil (Seroxat in the UK). Paxil/Seroxat is an antidepressant documented by international drug regulatory agencies as causing worsening depression and suicide particularly in children and young adults. Please help inform others of the risks of these drugs. Forward this video to everyone you know. RIP Sara Alison Carlin http://fiddaman.blogspot.com

Do SSRI's cause sexual dysfunction?

08:00
Thanks to Vlogbrothers for their sponsorship of this video!! Many of you have asked me about SSRI's or SNRI's and sexual dysfunction. I know that this is a concern for many people because sex is normal part of life for many of us. I broke this video down into a conversation about 3 main neurotransmitters that are believed to be involved in sexual dysfunction. They are: serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. Each of these neurotransmitters could in some way play a role in our ability to be interested in sex, be able to have sex, or our ability to achieve an orgasm. Obviously everyone's experience with medication is going to be different, but I hope that this video helps explain why sexual dysfunction happens on some medication and what questions you should ask your doctor when talking about medication or starting a new one. xox WEBSITE http://www.katimorton.com TWITTER http://www.twitter.com/katimorton FACEBOOK http://www.facebook.com/katimorton1 TUMBLR http://www.katimorton.tumblr.com PINTEREST http://www.pinterest.com/katimorton1 HELP! Antidepressant Side Effects: What You Should Know

04:32
Feel Depressed or Anxious? Talk to Someone Now http://www.tryonlinetherapy.com/depressiontoexpression/ Antidepressants do hold their fair share of side effects. Let's be honest, anti-depressants have created some pretty serious horror stories in the past and continue to be scary option for those who suffer from anxiety or depression. I get it, taking antidepressants should be a decision you are comfortable with first. Of course, with every bad story from antidepressants there are also many success stories from people who used the exact same drug that others used who had these horror stories. I would say that my anti-depressant story is an extremely positive one. Let's talk about some of the side effects of these drugs and an important differentiation between POSSIBLE side effects and PROBABLE side effects. There's the key word right there :) If you are to comment, please refuse from naming any kinds of medications as everyones treatment is different. Let's not discourage the use of anti-depressants or promote them. Whatever works baby!! If you're curious of the side effects: • feeling agitated, shaky or anxious • feeling and being sick • indigestion and stomach aches • diarrhoea or constipation • loss of appetite • weight gain • dizziness • not sleeping well (insomnia), or feeling very sleepy • headaches • low sex drive • difficulties achieving orgasm during sex or masturbation • in men, difficulties obtaining or maintaining an erection (erectile dysfunction) • dry mouth • slight blurring of vision • constipation • problems passing urine • drowsiness • dizziness • excessive sweating (especially at night) • heart rhythm problems • confusion • agitation • muscle twitching • sweating • shivering • diarrhea • muscle pain • reduced appetite • confusion • feeling listless and tired • disorientation • agitation • seizures (fits) • suicidal thoughts SUBSCRIBE: https://bit.ly/2k1XpGt INSTAGRAM: http://www.instagram.com/depressiontoexpression FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/depressiontoexpression TWITTER: http://www.twitter.com/expressionscott HELP ME: http://www.patreon.com/depressiontoexpression WEBSITE: http://www.depressiontoexpression.com QUESTIONS? scott@depressiontoexpression.com Our Mission: Create an honest dialogue about mental health by educating and inspiring people to express themselves freely with confidence Thank you to everyone who supports this channel and the mission of Depression to Expression. Making A Killing: The Untold Story Of Psychotropic Drugging (Documentary)

01:34:43
This is a Documentary and will provide the facts about psychotropic drugs and the huge profits they create for the pharmaceutical industry. These drugs are not safe and have not been on the market long enough to provide sufficient long term studies regarding their effects. These drugs do cause addiction, however most "doctors" would call this dependence because you do not have to take an increasing dose over time. They are completely fine with you being addicted to the same amount of any given drug on a daily basis. Over half of the people that commit suicide in the United States are prescribed to psychotropic drugs. (Ex: Paxil (Paroxetine), Zoloft (Sertraline), Prozac, Wellbutrin (Bupropion), Effexor, Seroquil, Ultram (Tramadol), etc.) Save Money, Get Healthy And Create Wealth With Youngevity! (Psychiatric Drugs Are More Dangerous than You Ever Imagined) Vídeo original no canal - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luKsQaj0hzs CIENTISTAS CONFIRMAM QUE ANTIDEPRESSIVOS PIORAM PROBLEMAS DE SAÚDE MENTAL.
