Lincomycin hydrochloride appears as a white crystalline powder at room temperature with slight odor or special smell and bitter taste. It is soluble in water and methanol. It is mainly used for the treatment of infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria in particular the various penicillin-resistant Gram-positive bacteria , the poultry chronic respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma, swine enzootic pneumonia, anaerobic infections such as chicken necrotizing enterocolitis. It can also be used for the treatment of treponema dysentery, toxoplasmosis and actinomycosis of dogs and cats.

Fluorine is a chemical element with the symbol F and atomic number 9. It is the lightest halogen and exists as a highly toxic pale yellow diatomic gas at standard conditions. As the most electronegative element, it is extremely reactive: almost all other elements, including some noble gases, form compounds with fluorine. Among the elements, fluorine ranks 24th in universal abundance and 13th in terrestrial abundance.
