Make a 15 Drawer Workshop Cabinet - Forme Industrious

17:11
(Sorry had to re-upload) Welcome back. I want to organise my workshop space better so why not have a better organised tool and miscellaneous "things" storage area. So I made this cabinet. With videoing it took me 2 weeks to make. I counted all the pieces I made for the project. They came to 197 so it's not a quick job. Everything bar the hardware is fabricated. I chose the colour when I was in a brave mood. I just need now to rearrange my workshop to fit this in :) Welder - WIA Weldmatic 200i https://www.welding.com.au/equipment/... Miter Mike's Milwaukee Jobsite Drawer Organizer Cabinet

22:35
I have been trying to organize my shop, in order to condense all the containers of screws and nails I bought 6 Milwaukee Jobsite Drawer Organizers. It was taking up too much room under my workbench and it seemed like I always needed the one on the bottom. I designed this cabinet so that I would always have access to my screws, I could roll it to any spot in the shop while I was working. The bonus was that there's enough room on the top to mount my DeWalt Planer. I used 2 sheets of Birch Plywood, 6 sets of 18" drawer slides, 3" casters, and Kreg 1-1/4" coarse pocket hole screws. Below there is a link to my website where I have plans available. Thank you for watching, please like, share, comment, and subscribe. Be safe. How to Set Up a Garage Workshop

09:59
Ask This Old House general contractor Tom Silva heads to Chicago to transform a garage into a woodworking shop. Watch the full episode: https://www.thisoldhouse.com/watch/ask-toh-workshop-light-switch Cost: $2,000-3,000 Skill Level: Moderate Tools: Miter saw Table saw Drill/Driver Sander Planer Jig saw Pocket hole jig Shopping List: 2x4 lumber Sheet of ¾” Birch plywood Window Fan J Hooks Table Saw stand Steps: 1. For the folding workbench, build a frame out of 2x4 lumber approximately 4 feet long by 3 feet wide. Include two additional 2x4s for center supports. 2. Attach a 2x4 leger to the long side of the workbench using hinges. This leger will screw into the wall. 3. If you’re also using the workbench as an outfeed table, it should be slightly lower than the top of your table saw. Once you know that height, cut two 2x4s to serve as legs and attach them to the inside of the front of the frame using hinges. 4. Use a masonry drill bit and concrete screws to fasten the leger of the folding workbench to the wall. Cut ¾” plywood for the bench top, and allow 1 1/2-2” around three sides for an overhang for clamping. Attach the workbench top to the frame by countersinking screws.

Boat Builder's Bevel Gauge

01:00
Let’s get one thing clear right away…you don’t have to be a boat builder to need this tool. If you ever need to replicate an angle from one part of a project to another, you need this bevel gauge. Boat builders face the problem all the time. No matter how carefully they stick to the plans, there comes a point where the angle on the drawing and the angle on the project don’t quite match. In the boat building world, the project always wins…fitting is much more important than being a specific angle. Order Today! https://www.woodpeck.com/boat-builders-bevel-gauge.html#5478

MORE PROJECT AND TIPS: http://makebuildmodify.com/ In this video: How I made a MEGA workbench out of reclaimed wood. I remodeled an old barn last summer. While demolishing the interior I had a chance to recover some of the old lumber. I stored it for a few months until I had time to build this woodworking bench. It weighs over 850 pounds and required 600 screws, 1 ½ gallons of wood glue, 44 9’x2”x6” Douglas fir, and about 40 hours to build I hope I cover enough detail in this video to be helpful. Turning an Attic into a Closet/Playroom

My grandad used that room as his art studio and not as a living space. So, besides adding some space for extra clothes, I am going to increase the value of our home by turning this area into a code-compliant bedroom. My boys' room is upstairs and the roofs are angled inward. The space behind the pitched roofs is all attic space. This empty space allows us to build into it so we can add the new closet. If you remember the bunk beds we built earlier in this year, you'd see that the wall we are building into also supports the top bunk of one of the beds. Having this as a design constraint, we are going to knock out the rest of that wall leaving the opening for the closet. Excitingly enough, the attic space behind the bunk bed is usable and will connect to the new closet giving the kids an extra playroom. Because this extra attic space is triangular, I wanted to bring some definition to the new closet. I framed out a small knee wall that would become the back of the closet. So that I didn't entirely block off the rest of the attic, I also framed in an access doorway in the pitched rafters. To create a space for the closet opening, I had to remove a row of wall studs. Because this wall supported the rafters above it, I had to add a header above the space to support the weight. I laminated some boards together, wedged them at the top of the planned opening, and supported it with two jack studs. all of these new supports were nailed into place. Now, instead of looking at the back of a framed wall,  we were now left with a big square of unsupported drywall. Now then, to block a lot of this heat from getting into the closet space and affecting he temperature of the room, I had to add a bunch of insulation. I used R13 pink fiberglass insulation stapled between the studs and the rafters. Where the fiberglass wouldn't work, I sprayed in some high-expansion foam to seal up all of the remaining gaps from the rest of the attic. This step seems pretty self-explanatory. But I was waiting to open up the space until we had semi-safe area. I didn't want to open up a potentially-dangerous job site to my boys' room for them to wander into when I wasn't around. Before we smashed the wall down, I scored the area around the opening with a utility knife so that the drywall would blowout and ruin the parts that would remain. But now is the time! I gathered the kids and we smashed through the wall together! It was pretty fun. Scoring the wall really helped the drywall break into manageable chucks for easy disposal and there wasn't a huge mess to clean up. For this project, I tried to avoid it at all costs but the reality of a finished closet/playroom without drywall wouldn't have worked. In the video, I didn't go into detail about putting up drywall, there are plenty of resources to help with that terrible process. I did eventually finish the drywall and my wife gave it a few coats of paint. In a regular closet, you can attach little cups to either parallel wall to hold a long rod. In our case, the bracket would have to attach the the pitched ceiling and hold a rod down from it. The easiest solution we found was to get two simple 90-degree metal brackets, attach them to the angled ceiling, and add a large wooden dowel to the hanging ends. This solution worked really well and by cutting a slot into the dowel and inserting the metal bracket, it kept the kids from hitting their heads on an exposed metal corner. This project was a big one. It had a lot of challenges and a lot project considerations. If you have a big construction project like this, you have to consider all of the hard parts and the tedious pieces before you can smash things and pick paint colors. Also, I am making some bi-fold doors for the closet, so look out for those as well. The bits are built to drill easily through most materials, whether you’re driving into bricks, blocks, steel or even tile. DEWALT Cordless Nailers Considerable Cordless Collection DEWALT is making even more additions to its 20v MAX* System, producing four new cordless nailers designed for framing, finishing, and even flooring. The new nailers include a Brad Nailer (DCN680B), a Narrow Crown Stapler (DCN681B), and an Angled Finish Nailer (DCN650B). Bosch Cordless Rotary Hammer I know, being able to lift heavy things is a point of pride in the construction industry, but a few hours on a rotary hammer is enough to make even a tough-guy’s arms feel like rubber. Bosch’s new SDS Plus Cordless Rotary Hammer can lighten your burden. DeWALT Cordless Grinder We first saw DeWALT’s grinders at the company’s “Tough in the South” media event back in August. What really stood out to us about these new grinders were the impressive brakes, which were capable of completely stopping the spinning wheel in less than three seconds. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💙FACEBOOK https://Facebook.com/GadgetsHERO 🐦TWITTER https://Twitter.com/GadgetsHERO ✅ INSTAGRAM https://Instagram.com/GadgetsHERO 📌PINTEREST https://Pinterest.com/GadgetsHERO ⭐YouTube https://YouTube.com/GadgetsHERO --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🎁 SUBSCRIBE NOW https://goo.gl/p273ZL 💗 Do you want YOUR product featured on Gadgets HERO? 📩 : TheGadgetsHERO@gmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to Make an Inexpensive Camera Stabilizer Grip

My friend Josh is working with me and shoots all of my videos. He noticed that it would be way more comfortable and consistent if the DSLR camera we use had a camera stabilizer.  The basic concepts behind this camera stabilizer is that it will be light, sturdy, and comfortable. I had some aluminum C-channel laying around that I decided to use as a rigid yet lightweight platform to build upon. To determine the length of the base, I measure the camera with the view screen open and placed my hands a comfortable distance to either side. Aluminum can be cut using standard wood tools and blades, so I used the miter saw to chop the C-channel to its final length. Rather than the camera rocking forward and damaging any lenses, I made sure to balance the camera on the base front to back. This required an additional aluminum plate because the camera's center of gravity sat behind the C-channel.  Some pop rivets were used to secure the new plate to the base and added a wooden spacer underneath. As a result, the whole assembly sat flat on a table and didn't topple over. Most notably, here at I Like to Make Stuff, all of our cameras are retrofitted with quick-release attachments made by Joby. Each tripod has an articulating Joby receiver so that we can effortlessly move cameras around the shop without worrying about mounting compatibility. The camera stabilizer is no exception; our DSLR cameras had to be able to switch from the new camera grip back to the tripods in an instant. We decided to mount a Joby attachment to the new camera grip using a 1/4-20 bolt. Since we accounted for the camera's center of gravity in the previous step, it was really easy to drill a 1/4 inch hole through the extra plate and hard mount the Joby receiver. While all of my cameras are equipped with mounts, most cameras have a 1/4-20 threaded insert on the bottom so you can bolt the camera directly to the base. First, we measured how high the grips needed to be. I decided that the grips should be tall enough so that the camera was centered vertically when placed in the mount. Next, we determined the grip shape. We experimented with PVC pipe to save weight, but the diameter was too thin and felt weird when we held it. Once again, I used the lathe to turn two cylindrical grips out of some scrap mahogany. As I carved away material, we kept checking the cylinder by hand until we got a comfortable size. After a few rounds of sanding on the lathe and some decorative finishing work, I drilled and tapped a 1/4 inch hole on the bottom of each piece using the Wood Whisper's Thread Taps. After a coat of spray lacquer had dried, we attached the hand grips to the aluminum base with some more 1/4-20 bolts. Josh made a point that the camera stabilizer should have an embedded way to operate the camera so that you wouldn't have to awkwardly fumble around to press the focus button and begin recording. After a quick Amazon search, I found a really inexpensive remote that plugs into the DSLR and has a single button that does both of those tasks. We measured where on the hand grip the remote should go and decided that the button should face forward like a trigger. I then used my drill press and some chisels to hog out a space in one handle for the remote to sit. Furthermore, Josh shortened and rerouted the remote's control wire so it didn't get in the way when shooting. The remote was firmly press fit into the hadn't grip and it works great! In conclusion, widening out the camera posture is more comfortable and makes for more stable dynamic shots. This was a really fun one-day build and I encourage you to find quick, simple solutions to problems in your life.

I've built heaps of stuff since; Tables, chairs, cabinets, wine racks, bar tops, closets, Outdoor settings, kids playpens, park benches, I even built the kids tree house out the back! I love woodwork. How to Start a Business with No Money

10:55
http://goo.gl/m6fDg I have been running my own businesses now for over 13 years, and during that time I have been approached by countless people all asking me pretty much the same thing, and that is, "how do I become successful in business?" If you ask 100 people that question, you are going to get 100 different answers. This is because most of the people you ask are going to talk to you about a specific business model, sales idea, or marketing tactic, etc... In my opinion, the answer is simpler than that; however, I can't actually take credit for the simplicity of my answer. Back before I started my last company, I was given some business advice that, at the time, I thought was the dumbest thing I'd ever heard. It didn't make sense to me, because I wasn't yet in business. Years later, I've come to realize that it was some of the smartest advice that I've ever received. I say this, because, after following the advice, I ended up building a company that I sold for $1.2 million back in 2008. In the video post below, I share with you exactly what this advice as, as well as how I put it to use in my own business, and, it is my hope that, after watching this video, you will do two things; share the video with others, and take my advice to heart. http://onlineincomelab.com

Complete bathroom shower install time lapse start to finish

11:00
Complete bathroom shower install time lapse start to finish. Including pre slope, vinyl shower liner, cement board, recesses niche, waterproofing, wood look plank porcelain tile, and grouting. A pre pitch or pre slope http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GmutV5AOAU under a shower pan liner is an essential part of a successful tile shower installation. A pre slope is the base under the shower pan liner which is pitched so that the any water that manages to get into the shower base can be directed to the weep holes in the three piece drain and out of the liner. If a pre slope is not installed under the liner then any water that filters into the base of the shower will remain there. To install a pre slope on a concrete base first spread a thin layer of thinset with a notched trowel, while it is still fresh, the deck mud is then shaped on top of the thinset so that there is a slope of ¼" per foot sloping towards the drain. The part of the base furthest away from the drain will be higher than the drain, so as to create a positive pitch towards the drain. How to install a vinyl shower liner. When installing a vinyl liner for the pan of a shower floor, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m-b8H3hjag it is imperative that any penetrations to secure the liner be above the level of the shower curb. Also the folds at the corners of the shower should always be done without cutting the liner lower than the shower curb. I do not install dam corners on the curb, because I apply a liquid waterproofing membrane on the surface of the entire shower stall, or at the very least the curb will be thoroughly waterproofed to avoid leeks in this critical area if this step is to be omitted, the dam corners should be used. The silicone bead at the drain where the liner is clamped to the 3 piece drain should always be applied, do not skip this step. How to install mud in a shower pan for a tile shower stall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJwKZCKWlOk When installing a tile shower, whether it be ceramic, marble travertine or any other tile product, a mud base will be required. Mud also known as deck mud, is a mixture of sand and Portland cement mixed to a ratio that will create a solid foundation for the tile which will be installed on it. The deck mud is mixed with water to a dump consistence which will allow the deck mud to hold its shape when pressed into a ball. The mud must be pitcher towards the drain so that a slope of at least ¼" per foot is achieved. The ratio of sand and Portland cement is usually 4:1 or 5:1. I usually use "Quikrete" sand topping mix, which as far as I know, has a ratio which is a little richer than needed, but is suitable for a shower pan. The method I employ to install my mud in shower pan, is to create a level and flat perimeter around the base of the shower walls which is at the correct height in relation to the drain, and then fill the middle part of the shower pan screeding down to the drain with the proper pitch. The mud is shaped with a wooden trowel, steel trowel, level and other pieces of straight wood lengths cut to the required lengths. In this video I demonstrate the technique I use to install a shower mud pan base. There are other methods that can be used, but this is the way I have installed hundreds of shower bases. I hope anyone that watches this finds it helpful. All tile installed by Sal DiBlasi, Elite-tile Company, in the Boston North Shore area. WeBuild: Building Opportunity since 1998

05:11
http://habitatcolorado.org/webuild-program/ Since 1998, Habitat for Humanity of Colorado has partnered with Crowley County Correctional Facility to create opportunities for incarcerated men to learn professional construction trades and be positive contributors to the community. This mutually beneficial program, known as WeBuild, allows inmates at the correctional facility to learn construction trades and fine woodworking skills by providing cabinets and roof trusses, for Habitat for Humanity homes across Colorado at an affordable price. The inmates in the program learn valuable job skills which will help them obtain gainful employment upon release that will pay them a livable wage, and ultimately help them avoid re-offending in the future. Participants in WeBuild can receive professional certifications for cabinet making, blueprint reading, and wood truss building. In addition to hands-on learning, this program also teaches the men valuable life lessons. As one inmate said, “…cabinetry has taught me, and continues to teach me, the vital lesson of not taking shortcuts. Most failures in my life, including my incarceration, are attributable to this one fatal flaw.”

Vintage PFAFF Sewing Machine Repair - Forme Industrious

15:05
Welcome back! Making things for me is not limited to steel and wood. I am intrigued with so many of ways in which articles are produced. Sewing is one of the methods I am keen to explore. So this video is about me finding a really old broken light industrial sewing machine and getting it working. It is not a full restoration of the sewing machine. I have never worked on a sewing machine before so the project was really interesting for me learning how all the mechanisms work and how to adjust things to get the right results. I am looking forward to doing some upholstery for some up coming projects, even if this machine is not the right tool for the job, I will learn a lot. I would at this stage also like to introduce MASSO CNC Controllers as my new Sponsor for my videos and supporter of my work. MASSO have made it clear that they only want to sponsor my videos, not control them in any way. I am free to do the video as I have always been. I too like to support start up organisations that are community minded and strive to produce lasting quality. So, to that end I am excited about working with MASSO and continuing my journey of creativity. I also appreciate and would like to thank my Patreon Supporters whom also greatly contribute to help me on this journey. Custom Kitchen Cabinets

01:47
http://kitchencabinetvalue.com Custom kitchen cabinets are the dream of many homeowners. Brought to you by Kitchen Cabinet Value 586-580-9436. But the cost makes it impossible for many homeowners to realize that dream. Many homeowners decide to remodel or upgrade their kitchens and settle for what they believe they can afford. But settling for something less than what you want is not necessary. You can have the beauty and the flexibility of custom kitchen cabinetry without the cost. Here is the secret. There are several reasons people choose custom kitchen cabinets: - Freedom to choose the exact wood they want - Custom sizes in cabinets - Specialty cabinetry - Special accessibility options - Special organizational features - Special height - Special door styles Many home improvement stores carry only a limited number of woods or wood finishes. If, for example, you wanted cherry cabinets, you would be out of luck at many stores. It is rare to do a kitchen remodel in a way that provides all of the storage options a homeowner wants without a need for some customization. It might be that your kitchen plans have an extra three inches beside the dishwasher, or you have an extra six inches in a corner. You might also want a unit with deeper drawers than are available in stock sizes. Many homeowners want the special features available only with custom cabinets, such as drawers that hold refrigerator units, pot racks or with either racks for canned goods or lazy Susans to provide easy access to everything stored in a cabinet. Some homeowners also need their base cabinets to be an inch or two higher or lower for accessibility. Some families also need customized pull-out work surfaces and special cabinet depth to accommodate the needs of someone confined to a wheelchair. Finally, some people want custom cabinets in order to do something special with moldings, soffits, cabinet doors and corners to make their kitchen truly their own. The good news is that homeowners' kitchen ideas are possible at a fraction of the price by working with a good cabinetmaker. A good cabinetmaker can install stock size cabinets wherever possible. When a special size is needed, he can alter a stock cabinet to fit the space and the need. Your cabinetmaker can also help you find or install the organizational or accessibility features you want. If your kitchen remodeling project requires a specialty cabinet, he can modify a stock cabinet to do the job for a fraction of the cost of custom cabinets. The best news is the price. For a fraction of the cost of custom kitchen cabinets, a good cabinetmaker can work with stock cabinets and meet almost every kitchen cabinet design specification you have for your kitchen renovation. What is more, a cabinetmaker with a direct purchasing agreement can do the job for about 40% of the cost of buying stock cabinets from a home improvement store. You can get the look and the features of custom cabinets without the cost. kitchen, kitchen cabinets, kitchen cabinetry, custom kitchen cabinetry, custom kitchen cabinets, kitchen cabinet design, kitchen remodeling, kitchen remodel, kitchen renovation, kitchen plans, kitchen ideas, xylothroz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgmEP-Kc2x8 This video was created by: Kitchen Cabinet Value 20504 Hall Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038 (586) 228-3262 Google Places: http://g.co/maps/ub2fb

Sarah Breaks Down In Tears In Front Of Everyone After Making Brave Personal Announcement

03:58
Please Help Me To 100,000 Sub : American Patriot : https://bit.ly/2yOF8Xi Sarah Breaks Down In Tears In Front Of Everyone After Making Brave Personal Announcement White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the pillar of professionalism and grace under fire. Since being hired for the role and having to conduct frequent press briefings to the mainstream media wolves, she’s been a perpetual target of the most ruthless attacks. The media she briefs aren’t the only ones who come at her. Late night talk show hosts and celebrities in Hollywood have also enjoyed making fun of her to no end. After awhile, it would take its toll on anyone regardless of your strength and solid sense of self-worth. Sarah has still has to do her job daily in the face of all of that torment and does so flawlessly. From how she holds herself, there’s no telling what she really feels inside. However, she recently lost her composure, and rightfully so, when she broke down in tears in front of reporters as she began to make a very personal announcement. President Trump knew what he was doing when he put this incredible woman in this position. She’s the very best for the job and more importantly, has Trump’s back. There’s no question how much she genuinely respects him and the job he’s doing as our nation’s leader. Proving that, was when she began to cry while revealing what she found on his desk. Western Journalism reports: White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders grew visibly emotional during a press briefing Thursday as she read from a 10-year-old letter recently sent to President Donald Trump from a Tennessee man named Joseph. The father of an Air Force master sergeant currently on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, Joseph wrote the letter while his son was serving in Iraq, to remind him of everything that was at stake. “Please don’t lose sight of your purpose,” Joseph had written. “You’re the only hope and glimmer of light for the good, innocent men, women and children that you are protecting. This may be hard for you to see or understand. “Most people know that all of you are there because you volunteered to be there. Your actions and dedication are seen by people throughout the world as without a doubt the most heroic action of any person which can be made. You and the soldiers standing next to you from all of the other countries are the pride of not only the nations they represent, but every individual that yearns to be free,” the letter concluded. “Stand tall, my son, and be steadfast. For it is you who are the defender of freedom.” As she read it, the emotion from the podium was palpable. Like Trump, Sanders has a deep respect for the men and women who serve our country. It was personal to her to make this announcement and obviously important. “We owe it to the servicemen and women like the master sergeant who have fought in our name in Afghanistan for 17 years and to the families who have watched them go to secure an honorable and lasting outcome to this conflict,” Sanders saids during the press briefing, after reading the letter aloud. Western Journalism added: Though many on both the right and left have complained over the president’s just-announced decision to escalate the United States’ war in Afghanistan, it’s clear by Joseph’s poignant words why we can’t give up now when we’ve already come this far. Closing up the briefing, Sanders noted that Joseph told Trump he had been a police officer for 30 years and that he sent the letter to the president in the hopes he’d read it. “I’m glad to say that he did earlier today,” she said. Each citizen is so important and special to the president, that he read this letter and kept it within reach, despite receiving an overwhelming amount of mail daily, most likely. He promised to work for the “average” American and our military and is doing just that. Part of Joseph’s words to his son also apply to Sanders and Trump as well: “Please don’t lose sight of your purpose.” America needs them both to remain steadfast to their purpose through the challenges heaped on them by detractors. There’s no doubt they too will fight until the end.b This particular story was popular at the time it originally made the news and is circulating again a second time for the important and applicable message that’s relevant today. President Trump on his new job making deals for America

01:38
"We still don't have our Cabinet. I assume we're setting records for that. That's the only thing good about it is we're setting records. I love setting records. (APPLAUSE) But I hate having a Cabinet meeting and I see all these empty seats. I said, Democrats, please approve our Cabinet and get smart on health care, too, if you don't mind. (LAUGHTER) (APPLAUSE) But we're taking meetings everyday with top leaders in business, in science and industry. Yesterday, I had 29 of the biggest business leaders in the world in my office; Caterpillar, Tractor (ph), Campbell's Soup. We had everybody. We had everybody. I like Campbell's Soup. (LAUGHTER) (APPLAUSE) We had everybody and we came to a lot of very good conclusions and a lot of those folks that are in that room are gonna be building big, big, massive new plants and lots of jobs. And you know what? They're gonna be building them in this country, not in some other country. (APPLAUSE) We're meeting with unions, meeting with law enforcement and we're meeting with leaders from all around where the White House doors used to be totally closed. They were closed, folks. You don't realize that, they were closed. TRUMP: They're now wide open and they're open for people doing business for our country and putting people to work." https://patreon.com/titor
