Make a 15 Drawer Workshop Cabinet - Forme Industrious

17:11
(Sorry had to re-upload) Welcome back. I want to organise my workshop space better so why not have a better organised tool and miscellaneous "things" storage area. So I made this cabinet. With videoing it took me 2 weeks to make. I counted all the pieces I made for the project. They came to 197 so it's not a quick job. Everything bar the hardware is fabricated. I chose the colour when I was in a brave mood. I just need now to rearrange my workshop to fit this in :) Welder - WIA Weldmatic 200i https://www.welding.com.au/equipment/... How to build job site saw horses

14:27
In this video I enlist the help of my son to build a set of saw horses for the job site. There are a million and one ways to build a set of saw horses, but this is how I've always build them. Typically out of scrap wood, but this set was fortunate enough to get left over new lumber from a recent job we completed. Cole had been asking me to help make something and do a video.... I figured it was a perfect time. He just received a brand new drill/driver, impact set for Christmas. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Building a Mancave 8: Porch roof and trim details" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3np_jGJu5U -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

Woodworking Cabinets, Shelving and Fixtures As A Busines

04:05
Woodworking Cabinets, Shelving and Store Fixtures http://bit.ly/MakeMoneyWoodworking A common avenue many woodworkers take is to enter the cabinets and store fixture market. This can work very well and pull in profits beyond what you can generally command by making small wood crafts and gift items alone. But it really depends on you, your drive, and your business skills.Unless you're planning to open a large production facility, each job will be made to measure. This means it will be doing lots of custom work and handling a variety of materials including plywoods, solids, metals, plastics, laminates, and more. For the creative woodworker/cabinetmaker this provides both an interesting and challenging opportunity and each job will teach you something new. The more potential sources of new jobs you have in your arsenal, the easier it is to find lucrative work and keep your shop humming. And it all begins by building relationships and spreading the word about what you have to offer. https://youtu.be/pE7ol5oM9P4

VIEW AS SLIDESHOW DEWALT FLEXVOLT Track Saw When a cut has to be on-the-money, only a table saw or track saw will do. DEWALT’s new cordless Track Saw cuts a razor sharp edge thanks to its variable speed motor and high-end 42-tooth blade. And of course the FLEXVOLT battery provides buku power. To protect you and your hands the motor has a built-in anti-kickback function. Demo Demon from Diablo When it comes to demolition jobs, you don’t want to make the work any harder than it has to be. With that in mind Diablo has released a new 7-1/4”, 24 -tooth saw blade that they’re calling the Demo Demon. It has a 3-tooth grind sequence which Diablo claims will chew through all sorts of nastiness like, nail-embedded wood, shingles and even bolts. Diablo also boasts that this blade will last up to ten times longer than a regular blade- That’s impressive! Milwaukee Mobile Work Station The new 52-in. Mobile Work Station from Milwaukee Tool is a truly portable work center. The Work Station has nine drawers with a total weight capacity of 1800 lbs., giving you plenty of organization and storage options. The station’s work surface is raised, making it easy for material to be clamped down, and there are two pull-out trays right under the work surface for speedy access to your most commonly used tools. SKILSAW Southpaw A New Way to Look At Your Cut New from SKILSAW, the SOUTHPAW is the only All-Magnesium Left Blade Sidewinder Circular Saw. With the blade located on the left side, the saw finally allows both right and left-handed users great visibility of the blade and cut-line. This saw lets you get a new angle or view while making a cut, allowing for more control and a straighter finish. DeWalt Chainsaw Compact Cordless Chainsaw DEWALT is now introducing a new 20v Compact Cordless Chainsaw to their line of 20 volt cordless tools. With power approaching that of a traditional gas-powered model and the convenience of cordless, this versatile and powerful tool can be used an a range of jobs, from house demolition to chopping down trees. Daredevil Drill Bits One Bit to Drill them All You need tough tools for tough work. Bosch has built in toughness to their new Daredevil bits. Daredevil MultiPurpose Drill Bits have a carbide multi-grind head that Bosch claims gets the job done 85 percent faster than other multi-material bits. DEWALT Cordless Nailers Considerable Cordless Collection DEWALT is making even more additions to its 20v MAX* System, producing four new cordless nailers designed for framing, finishing, and even flooring. The new nailers include a Brad Nailer, a Narrow Crown Stapler & an Angled Finish Nailer Bosch Cordless Rotary Hammer I know, being able to lift heavy things is a point of pride in the construction industry, but a few hours on a rotary hammer is enough to make even a tough-guy’s arms feel like rubber. Bosch’s new SDS Plus Cordless Rotary Hammer can lighten your burden. DeWALT Cordless Grinder We first saw DeWALT’s grinders at the company’s “Tough in the South” media event back in August. What really stood out to us about these new grinders were the impressive brakes, which were capable of completely stopping the spinning wheel in less than three seconds. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💙FACEBOOK https://Facebook.com/GadgetsHERO 🐦TWITTER https://Twitter.com/GadgetsHERO ✅ INSTAGRAM https://Instagram.com/GadgetsHERO 📌PINTEREST https://Pinterest.com/GadgetsHERO ⭐YouTube https://YouTube.com/GadgetsHERO --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🎁 SUBSCRIBE NOW https://goo.gl/p273ZL 💗 Do you want YOUR product featured on Gadgets HERO? 📩 : TheGadgetsHERO@gmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Miter Mike's Milwaukee Jobsite Drawer Organizer Cabinet

22:35
I have been trying to organize my shop, in order to condense all the containers of screws and nails I bought 6 Milwaukee Jobsite Drawer Organizers. It was taking up too much room under my workbench and it seemed like I always needed the one on the bottom. I designed this cabinet so that I would always have access to my screws, I could roll it to any spot in the shop while I was working. The bonus was that there's enough room on the top to mount my DeWalt Planer. I used 2 sheets of Birch Plywood, 6 sets of 18" drawer slides, 3" casters, and Kreg 1-1/4" coarse pocket hole screws. Below there is a link to my website where I have plans available. Thank you for watching, please like, share, comment, and subscribe. Be safe. Turning an Attic into a Closet/Playroom

My grandad used that room as his art studio and not as a living space. So, besides adding some space for extra clothes, I am going to increase the value of our home by turning this area into a code-compliant bedroom. My boys' room is upstairs and the roofs are angled inward. The space behind the pitched roofs is all attic space. This empty space allows us to build into it so we can add the new closet. If you remember the bunk beds we built earlier in this year, you'd see that the wall we are building into also supports the top bunk of one of the beds. Having this as a design constraint, we are going to knock out the rest of that wall leaving the opening for the closet. Excitingly enough, the attic space behind the bunk bed is usable and will connect to the new closet giving the kids an extra playroom. Because this extra attic space is triangular, I wanted to bring some definition to the new closet. I framed out a small knee wall that would become the back of the closet. So that I didn't entirely block off the rest of the attic, I also framed in an access doorway in the pitched rafters. To create a space for the closet opening, I had to remove a row of wall studs. Because this wall supported the rafters above it, I had to add a header above the space to support the weight. I laminated some boards together, wedged them at the top of the planned opening, and supported it with two jack studs. all of these new supports were nailed into place. Now, instead of looking at the back of a framed wall,  we were now left with a big square of unsupported drywall. Now then, to block a lot of this heat from getting into the closet space and affecting he temperature of the room, I had to add a bunch of insulation. I used R13 pink fiberglass insulation stapled between the studs and the rafters. Where the fiberglass wouldn't work, I sprayed in some high-expansion foam to seal up all of the remaining gaps from the rest of the attic. This step seems pretty self-explanatory. But I was waiting to open up the space until we had semi-safe area. I didn't want to open up a potentially-dangerous job site to my boys' room for them to wander into when I wasn't around. Before we smashed the wall down, I scored the area around the opening with a utility knife so that the drywall would blowout and ruin the parts that would remain. But now is the time! I gathered the kids and we smashed through the wall together! It was pretty fun. Scoring the wall really helped the drywall break into manageable chucks for easy disposal and there wasn't a huge mess to clean up. For this project, I tried to avoid it at all costs but the reality of a finished closet/playroom without drywall wouldn't have worked. In the video, I didn't go into detail about putting up drywall, there are plenty of resources to help with that terrible process. I did eventually finish the drywall and my wife gave it a few coats of paint. In a regular closet, you can attach little cups to either parallel wall to hold a long rod. In our case, the bracket would have to attach the the pitched ceiling and hold a rod down from it. The easiest solution we found was to get two simple 90-degree metal brackets, attach them to the angled ceiling, and add a large wooden dowel to the hanging ends. This solution worked really well and by cutting a slot into the dowel and inserting the metal bracket, it kept the kids from hitting their heads on an exposed metal corner. This project was a big one. It had a lot of challenges and a lot project considerations. If you have a big construction project like this, you have to consider all of the hard parts and the tedious pieces before you can smash things and pick paint colors. Also, I am making some bi-fold doors for the closet, so look out for those as well. Complete bathroom shower install time lapse start to finish

11:00
Complete bathroom shower install time lapse start to finish. Including pre slope, vinyl shower liner, cement board, recesses niche, waterproofing, wood look plank porcelain tile, and grouting. A pre pitch or pre slope http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GmutV5AOAU under a shower pan liner is an essential part of a successful tile shower installation. A pre slope is the base under the shower pan liner which is pitched so that the any water that manages to get into the shower base can be directed to the weep holes in the three piece drain and out of the liner. If a pre slope is not installed under the liner then any water that filters into the base of the shower will remain there. To install a pre slope on a concrete base first spread a thin layer of thinset with a notched trowel, while it is still fresh, the deck mud is then shaped on top of the thinset so that there is a slope of ¼" per foot sloping towards the drain. The part of the base furthest away from the drain will be higher than the drain, so as to create a positive pitch towards the drain. How to install a vinyl shower liner. When installing a vinyl liner for the pan of a shower floor, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m-b8H3hjag it is imperative that any penetrations to secure the liner be above the level of the shower curb. Also the folds at the corners of the shower should always be done without cutting the liner lower than the shower curb. I do not install dam corners on the curb, because I apply a liquid waterproofing membrane on the surface of the entire shower stall, or at the very least the curb will be thoroughly waterproofed to avoid leeks in this critical area if this step is to be omitted, the dam corners should be used. The silicone bead at the drain where the liner is clamped to the 3 piece drain should always be applied, do not skip this step. How to install mud in a shower pan for a tile shower stall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJwKZCKWlOk When installing a tile shower, whether it be ceramic, marble travertine or any other tile product, a mud base will be required. Mud also known as deck mud, is a mixture of sand and Portland cement mixed to a ratio that will create a solid foundation for the tile which will be installed on it. The deck mud is mixed with water to a dump consistence which will allow the deck mud to hold its shape when pressed into a ball. The mud must be pitcher towards the drain so that a slope of at least ¼" per foot is achieved. The ratio of sand and Portland cement is usually 4:1 or 5:1. I usually use "Quikrete" sand topping mix, which as far as I know, has a ratio which is a little richer than needed, but is suitable for a shower pan. The method I employ to install my mud in shower pan, is to create a level and flat perimeter around the base of the shower walls which is at the correct height in relation to the drain, and then fill the middle part of the shower pan screeding down to the drain with the proper pitch. The mud is shaped with a wooden trowel, steel trowel, level and other pieces of straight wood lengths cut to the required lengths. In this video I demonstrate the technique I use to install a shower mud pan base. There are other methods that can be used, but this is the way I have installed hundreds of shower bases. How to build a Camper Van / Studio - DIY conversion (Step by step)

How to convert a van into a camper/ video production studio. I hope this step by step video is useful to many of you. Time stamps bellow: 0:43 Windows 2:27 Bulkhead 2:57 / 28:26 Floor 3:27 Wires 3:58 Roof ventilation 6:17 Insulation 8:43 Ceiling 9:45 / 29:20 Ikea LEDs 10:06 Pallet wood walls 10:47 Bed Frame / 18:36 & 29:57 Sliding bed 13:38 Kitchen 17:04 / 21:12 Carpeting 17:57 / 21:33 / 28:00 Painting 20:06 Back doors / 26:32 Side door 25:05 Charging station 30:29 LED strips 32:44 Wooden deck 34:23 Solar panels 35:19 Plastics and van polish – Music by Joakim Karud http://youtube.com/joakimkarud – The Emerging Alternatives van is what makes filming on the road possible. It both severs as a mobile studio and a tiny living space. Its color quickly gave it the stage name" Red". It's mostly made of reclaimed wood and was originally inspired by the typical Norwegian Rorbu (small wooden cabin used by fishermen). The wooden deck on top of the van is made in the Japanese way of preserving wood with fire called Shou Sugi Ban (charred wood). There are two 100W solar panels on the roof making it a good off grid camper and providing enough electricity to power the cameras and laptop required for the making of the videos. I decided to share the van conversion with the community hoping it will inspire potential van-builders and travelers. This video is as descriptive as I could make it without boring everybody to death. Do leave a comment with your questions if you have some. I'll do my best to answer them. If there are a lot of the same questions coming up, i'll do a Q&A. This is a 100% DIY van. It was a long process and I didn't really know what to expect. I often had to change ideas, adapt and find solutions to problems I could not have thought about before the start. I was already pretty good with my hands and enjoyed building things, but this van build was definitely a first. There will be some more van life videos coming up on the channel, a van tour and extra little van build videos if there are frequent questions coming up, but the channel won't be focused only on that subject. I'd like to also make content on alternative living, like tiny house and minimalist living rather than just camper vans as living a nomadic life ins't really sustainable in the long run (speaking from experience). I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to do a van conversion. Once again do ask questions or share with us your van build ideas in the comments. – Follow Emerging Alternatives: Facebook Group: https://goo.gl/bnhhne Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/EmergingAlternatives/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/emergingalternatives/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/EmAlternatives Website: https://www.emergingalternatives.com/ – Video gear list and links: Panasonic GH4: https://amzn.to/2MjYRjv 14/140 lens: https://amzn.to/2K3omZL DJI Mavic pro: https://amzn.to/2ls2aJO Gopro 4 Silver: https://amzn.to/2K6bVvW Rode Lavalier Mic for smartphones: https://amzn.to/2K6caXS Lav mic windscreen (Dead Cat): https://amzn.to/2K5au0O Superlux HD668B Dynamic Semi-Open Headphones: https://amzn.to/2MQD0B2 DISCLAIMER: This are affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I’ll receive a small commission. How to Set Up a Garage Workshop

09:59
Ask This Old House general contractor Tom Silva heads to Chicago to transform a garage into a woodworking shop. Watch the full episode: https://www.thisoldhouse.com/watch/ask-toh-workshop-light-switch Cost: $2,000-3,000 Skill Level: Moderate Tools: Miter saw Table saw Drill/Driver Sander Planer Jig saw Pocket hole jig Shopping List: 2x4 lumber Sheet of ¾” Birch plywood Window Fan J Hooks Table Saw stand Steps: 1. For the folding workbench, build a frame out of 2x4 lumber approximately 4 feet long by 3 feet wide. Include two additional 2x4s for center supports. 2. Attach a 2x4 leger to the long side of the workbench using hinges. This leger will screw into the wall. 3. If you’re also using the workbench as an outfeed table, it should be slightly lower than the top of your table saw. Once you know that height, cut two 2x4s to serve as legs and attach them to the inside of the front of the frame using hinges. 4. Use a masonry drill bit and concrete screws to fasten the leger of the folding workbench to the wall. Cut ¾” plywood for the bench top, and allow 1 1/2-2” around three sides for an overhang for clamping. Attach the workbench top to the frame by countersinking screws.

My Daraku Tenshi: The Fallen Angels arcade cabinet custom build.

03:15
Ever since I first played Daraku Tenshi I fell in love with it. That was over a decade ago, and now I've built a dedicated (in looks) arcade cabinet for it. I'm actually running Hyper Spin on the cabinet, but there are so many videos on YouTube already that show what HyperSpin looks like so I didn't want to do another one of those kinds of videos. If you are interested in building a cab from scratch I suggest checking out BYOAC - http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php they can help you with a great community of people willing to give you suggestions and help with design ideas. Please don't gut a perfectly good arcade cab to build a MAME or HyperSpin cabinet. I'm no carpenter, but with a bit of research and planning you can build a cab rather easily.

Adam Savage's Custom Tool Storage Stands

As discussed on a previous episode of Still Untitled, Adam's stand on storage drawers is that they're where tools go to get lost. To keep his essential workshop tools easily accessible, he built these custom stands as a solution for organizing all of his hand tools. Adam explains the design of these stands and shows off some of the more esoteric tools they keep within reach. Easiest way to make window casing (aka picture frame) with a Kreg Jig

12:18
The Kreg Pocket Hole Jig: By far the easiest way I have found so far to make window casing perfect and efficiently! This is a quick video showing how my life has become easier, more efficient, and I've been able to give my customers a better end product when it comes to their window trims. I show how the Kreg pocket hole jig can be used to make perfect tight miters for your window casing, or even if you wanted to make some home made DIY picture frames. (Don't tell me wife I can do this) In the video I said about $80 for the kit...I lied... It's about $139.00 for the kit I have! Can be purchased here: https://goo.gl/D4Xw7W Also, feel free to check out my website where I do sell a couple different t-shirts and occasionally my hats!! www.rrbuildings.com I appreciate the support! -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Building a Mancave 8: Porch roof and trim details" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3np_jGJu5U -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

How to Make Wooden Dice / Toy - Simple Woodworking Project

06:08
↓↓↓ Details in the description below↓↓↓ Subscribe ↓↓↓ Like ↓↓↓Share↓↓↓ This is a very simple Woodworking project. I made these Dice from reclaimed / recycled wood. Cheap Chinese Wooden Hand Plane Video https://youtu.be/a7TLeLAerzs They are 6cm in size. I used a Table Saw to cut them, but a hand saw can be used. I simply marked out the position of the Dots making sure that opposite sides add up to seven. I then used an 8mm Round Burr to indent the Dots. I also used a Countersink to create a similar effect. I finished the Dice using Organic Boiled Linseed Oil. I used a Black Marker Pen to colour the Dots on two of the Dice. I like the idea of making my own Tools, especially if it is a Tool that is not easily found or readily available. Handmade Tools give great satisfaction and for me it is fun knowing that I created something to help me better improve my woodworking experience. If you like what I do, then please Subscribe, Like and Share my Videos. It really helps to support My Channel and to create new content on a regular basis. Namaste ॐ

A Simple Trick on How to Save Up A Lot of Money Fast

05:58
How to save up money easily for a house or for a new car? Learn a genius hack on how to save more money each month. As a bonus, we'll tell teach you how to safely hide your cash. "If only I could stop spending money on stuff I don’t need, I would buy so many useful things!" Have you ever thought this? Then this video is just for you. RULE 1: Subtract the last digit from each number to get a zero at the end. It’s easier to “zero out” cash into a piggy bank, and you may use a savings account or any other bank account to transfer the money from your card. RULE 2: Save everything that’s left over before payday — "zero out" one more time at the end of the month. For instance, you still have $300 in cash and $1,000 in the bank — just move it to your savings account. TIMESTAMPS «Zero out» your money every evening 0:31 Move any unspent money to your saving account 1:46 What are the advantages of this simple method? 2:05 The worst places to hide your cash: In the backyard 2:41 Under your mattress 2:58 In shopping bags 3:13 In old wallets and handbags 3:27 In laundry baskets 3:40 Behind a picture or photo in a frame 3:58 In safes that are not bolted down 4:13 In drawers and cabinets 4:34 Where to hide your money 4:53 SUMMARY If you feel like you have run out of places to hide your money, try the following suggestions: • Wrap your money in a plastic bag, and tape it to the bottom of the kitchen counter or to the bottom of your kid’s toy box (the best option is to create a false bottom in it). • In a waterproof container stored in the lowest drawer of your refrigerator or freezer. Make sure it doesn’t read "Ice cream" or something else yummy thieves might want to try. • Hide your savings among buttons, threads, and other sewing accessories. Unless thieves suddenly need to sew something, they most probably won’t look for your money in there. • In a pair of old shoes, clothes, or maybe in an old computer that no longer works. Make sure it all looks like junk you have not disposed of yet.
