Among these studies was one conducted in 1990 involving 22 patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. The notable observation made was the excessively high levels of homocysteine in their blood. It also relates to a story that spread widely in 1969 about two kids with brains that have turned into mush due to a rare genetic mutation causing their homocysteine levels to skyrocket. It was then when they experts hypothesized the possible link between high homocysteine levels and brain loss. But it isn’t a lost cause yet since researchers discovered that homocysteine can be detoxified by the following vitamins: 1.Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) 2.Vitamin B9 (Folate/ Folic Acid) 3.Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin) It wasn’t an immediate success when you look at neuropsychological assessments but when they looked into structural neuroimaging, B-vitamins supplementation actually showed some promise. It was able to slow down brain atrophy. Hence, it is highly possible that brain loss is reduced especially among patients with Alzheimer’s with the help of B vitamins. And perhaps the main reason why homocysteine levels are over the roof is because they are deficient in B vitamins especially folate. Imagine 11 umoles of homocysteine per liter is alarming. However, you don’t just have to rely on vitamin supplementation because you can actually get vitamin B6 from beans and dark leafy veggies not to mention that you benefit from the added fiber it provides. The fiber in these greens itself can boost folate levels, which is why it is advisable for those with deteriorating mental health to consume more plant-based food rather than eat mainly meat and proteins. Homocysteine is derived from methionine, a by-product of animal protein. So, as much as possible, avoid eating lots of meat or you unknowingly endanger your health and speed up potential brain loss. Patients with Alzheimer’s must increase vitamin B supplementation especially the three vitamins mentioned earlier because your body needs it all to be able to better regulate homocysteine levels. Shifting to a plant-based diet isn’t necessarily the solution to slow down further brain loss. Optimal health can only be achieved when your body can maintain that delicate balance of all the good things your body needs to stay strong and healthy even as you age. In certain studies, Americans has been found to be the #1 population in vitamin D deficiency. Some of the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are a weakened immune system, candida or bacterial overgrowth, emotional ups and downs, hormone imbalance, trouble putting on muscle or losing weight, weakened bones or teeth, cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Vitamin D supports having a healthy immune response, digestive health, hormone balance, and more. The biggest causes of vitamin D deficiency are not getting enough sunlight, certain chemicals from plastic bottles (bpa), and toxicity. Try to get outside everyday for about 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. Certain foods that are sources of vitamin D are wild caught fish, raw fermented milk, mushrooms, and eggs. However, there are small amounts in the food you eat. For a good supplement, I would recommend a high quality vitamin D supplement. You don’t want to take vitamin D2, but you do want to take vitamin D3. For supplementation, take about 2000-5000 IUs a day. However, if you have a severe deficiency, then for 1-2 months, you may take 5000 IUs twice daily. Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is an important water-soluble vitamin. It plays an essential role in the production of your red-blood-cells and DNA, as well as the proper functioning of your nervous system. Vitamin B12 is naturally found in animal foods, including meats, fish, poultry, eggs and dairy. However, it can also be found in products fortified with B12, such as some varieties of bread and plant-based milk. Unfortunately, B12 deficiency is common. You’re at risk of deficiency if you don’t get enough from your diet or aren’t able to absorb enough from the food you eat. Here are 5-signs and symptoms of a true vitamin B12 deficiency. 1.Pale or Jaundiced Skin People with a B12 deficiency often look pale or have a slight yellow tinge to the skin and whites of the eyes, a condition known as jaundice. This happens when a lack of B12 causes problems with your body's red blood cell production. These red blood cells are too large to pass out of your bone marrow and into your circulation. Therefore, you don’t have as many red blood cells circulating around your body, and your skin can appear pale in color. 2.Weakness and Fatigue Weakness and fatigue are common symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency. They occur because your body doesn’t have enough vitamin B12 to make red blood cells, which transport oxygen throughout your body. As a result, you are unable to efficiently transport oxygen to your body’s cells, making you feel weak and tired. In the elderly, this type of anemia is often caused by an autoimmune condition known as pernicious anemia. 3.Mood Changes People with B12 deficiency often report changes in mood. In fact, low levels of B12 have been linked to mood and brain disorders like depression and dementia. The “homocysteine hypothesis of depression” has been suggested as a potential explanation for this link. This theory suggests that high levels of homocysteine caused by low levels of B12 could cause damage to the brain tissue and interfere with signals to and from your brain, leading to mood changes. 4.Breathlessness and Dizziness If you become anemic due to a B12 deficiency, you may feel short of breath and a bit dizzy, especially when you exert yourself. This is because your body lacks the red blood cells it needs to get enough oxygen to your body’s cells. However, these symptoms can have many causes, so if you notice that you are unusually breathless, you should speak to your doctor to investigate the cause. 5.Disturbed Vision One symptom of vitamin B12 deficiency is blurred or disturbed vision. This can occur when an untreated B12 deficiency results in nervous system damage to the optic nerve that leads to your eyes. The damage can disrupt the nervous signal that travels from your eye to your brain, impairing your vision. This condition is known as optic neuropathy. Although alarming, it is often reversible by supplementing with B12. Vitamin B12 deficiency is common and can present itself in various ways, making it difficult to identify. If you’re at risk and have any of the symptoms above, speak to your doctor. For most people, a B12 deficiency should be easy to prevent simply by ensuring you are getting enough B12 in your diet.

Hi guys welcome back to my channel. Today I am going to share with you guys on how to grow your nails really fast and long very easily in just 10 days. Ok so the process is divided into 2 simple steps. The first step is to make a nail soaking solution for which you will need Ingredients half a lemon 1 Teaspoon extra virgin Olive oil 1 teaspoon salt and half a bowl of warm water. Let me show you guys how to make it. Take half a bowl of warm water,not hot but warm water squeeze half a lemon into it and then add 1 teaspoon olive oil into it and finally add 1 teaspoon of salt as well. Stir the mixture very well. Keep this aside and now let’s make the cuticle oil which is our 2nd step. For this you will only need 2 simple ingredients that is 1 teaspoon olive oil 2 vitamin E capsules a clean container to store in the mixture. Take the clean container and fill it with 1 teaspoon olive oil and then cut open 2 vitamin E capsules and add it into the container as well. Mix everything together. You can keep this in room temperature for more than 3 months. Now it’s time to apply. I am going to take you all from Day 1 to Day 10 of my nail growth journey. Ok so let’s start with Day 1. You can see that my nails are really short. So basically What you need to do is just soak your nails in the soaking solution which we made earlier for around 30 mins. Also gently massage your nail while it’s in the solution. Lemon contains vitamin C that is essential for nail growth. Also, it helps treat yellow nails and gives your nails a nice shine. Salt softens cuticles and skin and strengthens nails. It also helps to to fight the bacteria preventing nail growth. So after 30 minutes just wipe your hands and fingers with a clean towel. You need not have to wash it off. Now comes the second step which is apply the cuticle oil. You can apply the apply using a bud or a cotton swab. I would say not to dip your fingers inside it as it can build up bacteria. Massage your nails very well in a circular motion for about 5 to 10 mins. To promote nail growth, it is essential to keep your nails well moisturized. Olive oil is the best when it comes to nail care. It penetrates deep into the skin and nails and thus helps nourish your nails. Plus, it contains vitamin E which improves blood circulation, helps repair damaged nails and promotes nail strength and growth. Vitamin E oil is known as a magical ingredient when it comes to nail growth. Vitamin E can help correct certain nail-growth disorders and problems, including yellow nail. The vitamin E oil will keep your cuticles healthy and moist if you use it properly. That’s all you need to do. Continue this 2 process every day for 10 days. But you will start seeing the results from Day 3 or 4 itself. let’s jump into day 4 now. You can see that by day 4 my nails have visibly grown. This is how effective the remedy is. So continue both the steps 1 by 1. Lets move on to Day 7. You can see that my nails have grown a lot more now. My nails look much healthier and whiter than before. You should never forget the cuticle oil. You can apply cuticle oil anytime or any number of times you can. You should always apply cuticle oil before going to bed. Massage for 10 mins everyday to improve blood circulation which in turn will promote nail growth. Now lets move on to the finale day, Day 10. I forgot to tell you guys one thing, Always prepare the soaking solution fresh. Never reuse the solution. Ok so now you can see how long my nails have grown in just 10 days.
