Cure your dogs allergies skin and ear infections. Make your own dog food.
Make your pet healthier and allergie free by making their food at home. A good siter for foods NOT to feed your dog http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+1659&aid=1030 (((( I am not a vet and you are solely responsible for what you feed your pet )))) As for the recipe: All will depend on the size batch you are making so go by the percentage below. You may alter this according to how you believe you should feed your pet. We use: about 30-40 percent protien (more around 40 right now for the puppy) beef, fish, pork, turkey, chicken. If you dog is itching... just use beef and fish to start with and if they stop or improve add pork next time and see if they are still goog to go. if so try the next protien until you find the one that makes them itch. then don't use that one ever lol. 30 - 40 percent veggies (stear away from corn as it just passes through dogs because their system is to short to absorb it). But if there is a great deal on mixed veggies by all means use it. about 10 percent potatos mixed with sweet potatos or by thereselves. 10 -15 percent jasmine rice. (add about a half a cup extra water and cook slightly longer so the rice is really soft. You can add fruits as well and also veggies like squash and cucumber eggplant etc. Also you can get a multi-vitemin to make sure you are giving them all the vitemins and minerals.

Apple Cider Vinegar Itchy Dog’s Skin - Natural Holistic Treatment

Using commercial products may or may not help and you might end up spending a fortune finding a product that actually works. Before you go out and buy another product, try using apple cider vinegar for dogs skin. There are many benefits of apple cider vinegar for dogs that might just solve those irritating conditions that are plaguing your pet. Apple cider vinegar helps to relieve itchy skin for dogs who get themselves into yeast or poison ivy. Simply mix a 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Apply directly to the dog’s itchy spots, but be careful NOT to spray on open wounds – the vinegar will sting. If you can’t apply by spraying and yeast is the main concern, you may feed apple cider vinegar in your pet’s food or water. Yeast does not do survive in acid environments that apple cider vinegar will create, so you may feed 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon twice daily to your dog. Find out how you can use household items to live healthier & save money. Learn more. Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar contains the “mother of vinegar” which has many beneficial enzymes for your pet’s health. It is also raw and unfiltered, so your dog will get the most benefit possible out of using apple cider vinegar. Sponging apple cider vinegar dog’s coat after bathing can help remove soap residues and improve hair condition. The acidity and live enzymes in Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar will help to kill bacteria that causes flaking skin conditions. Soak your dog’s coat to the skin and let it air-dry. This same treatment is also said to repel fleas and ticks. Apple cider vinegar can also be massaged into sore or sprained muscles. It is the foundation of many herbal liniments, relieving pain and inflammation. Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse for Dogs Use apple cider vinegar rinse for dogs after shampooing if your dog has skin problems related to allergies, fleas, or ringworm. 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar 1 quart of water Mix well and use once a week as an after-shampoo rinse. DO NOT use water to rinse off the ACV – simply towel your dog dry. Also, you can try using apple cider vinegar to soak your dog’s feet if they have itchy paws from seasonal allergies (pollen). Dilute 1 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1-2 cups of water. Allow your dog to soak his paws in the mixture. This can greatly reduce the itching. For problems with flaky skin or dandruff, you can try massaging full-strength apple cider vinegar your dog’s hair before shampooing. Homemade Dog Food for Struvite Bladder Stones
A bladder stone is small, rock-like buildup of minerals that form in the bladder. Feeding a homemade dog food for struvite bladder stones recipe can help to prevent these stones from reforming in your dog's bladder. Read the full recipe here: https://topdogtips.com/recipe-homemade-dog-food-for-struvite-bladder-stones If your dog already has struvite bladder stones, your vet will analyze his condition to help you determine the proper way to treat them. If the condition is mild, they may recommend a special diet to get rid of the stones. A Raw Food Diet Could Kill Your Dog - Truth or a Myth?
To get your free guide: http://www.petsloverawfood.com/report/ A raw food diet could kill your dog! I hear this all the time! Truth or Myth? There's a lot of conflicting information about raw feeding when it comes to the benefits or the danger of feeding our pets a raw food diet. Watch this video and hopefully, you make the right decision. This is based on my 30-year study (15 years into it) with 5000 dogs and 2000 cats on a raw food diet. I'm also studying cancer prevention and natural cures for dog and cats. More information here: http://longlivingpets.com I have personally fed raw for over 17 years, and I currently have two Great Danes that are 10 and 5 years old. I have two Minature Dachshund's that are 14 and 17 years old. I also have two cats that are 3 and 4 years old. They are all raw fed. Yes, I'm biased towards raw feeding, but that is based on my experience with it and my many years of research into raw fed pets. Make up your own mind, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. If you're sitting on the fence and not sure how to get started, I wrote a book just for you: http://www.petsloverawfood.com/report/Thomas-Sandberg/ Thomas Sandberg Founder of Long Living Pets Research Projects https://longlivingpets.com Founder and President of Long Living Pets Research Foundation https://llprf.org/ Park City, Utah

Let's Focus on Food Allergy Prevention | Dr. Kari Nadeau | TEDxPaloAlto
Learn from Stanford doctor and leading expert in allergy treatment and prevention, Dr. Kari Nadeau, on how you can stop allergies early on. Dr. Kari Nadeau is the Naddisy Foundation Endowed Professor of Pediatric Food Allergy, Immunology, and Asthma at Stanford University and the director of the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University. For more than 30 years, she has devoted herself to understanding how environmental and genetic factors affect the risk of developing allergies and asthma, and the molecular mechanisms underlying the diseases. As one of the nation’s foremost experts in adult and pediatric allergy and asthma, Dr. Nadeau's research is laying the groundwork for a variety of potential future therapies to prevent and cure allergies and asthma. She leads a diverse team of specialists—in areas from immunology to chemical engineering—a team that was among the first to show that high dimensional immunophenotyping of T cells involved in allergy could be used in therapies for patients. Her research has also shown that blocking antibodies in conjunction with allergen immunotherapy produced desensitization even in patients with up to five food allergens. She has overseen more than 40 clinical trials and enrolled more than 2,000 patients in allergy studies. Her work has changed the lives of many who, for the first time in their lives, are able to control life-threatening food allergies. Dr. Nadeau received her MD and PhD from Harvard Medical School. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and a clinical fellowship in asthma and immunology at Stanford and at University of California, San Francisco. Her research and scientific breakthroughs have been covered in Lancet, JAMA, Nature Medicine, US News and World Report, New York Times Magazine and Discover Magazine, as well as other national and international media. Dr. Nadeau has served as a White House Medical Consultant, a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the EPA, NHLBI DSMB, NIH Study Sections, FARE Scientific Board, and a member of the American Lung Association Medical Board. She serves as the director of the Mechanism Committee for the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and is a member of ASCI (American Society of Clinical Investigation). Relax My Dog is the perfect solution to this anxiety inducing situation - just play our firework and thunderstorm playlist to reduce your dogs anxiety and make them feel safe. Early Exposure to Dogs May Prevent Allergies
New research out of the University of California San Francisco is closing in on the reason living with dogs can prevent allergies. Past studies have shown that living with dogs and cats early in life can save people from loads of allergy problems later, but scientists have never been sure why. New research out of the University of California San Francisco is closing in on the possible reason for relief. To date, the scientists have located a bacteria, called Lactobacillus johnsonii that seems to have a big impact on how test mice react to common allergens. For the experiment, they separated mice into two groups. Half of them got dust that had been gathered from a house where a dog lives and the others were showered with non-dog inhabitant particles. All of the mice were then exposed to typical reaction-inducing substances including cockroach compounds and egg whites. Lo and behold, the mice that were exposed to the dog-house dust were far less likely to experience inflammation and develop mucus. Further examination revealed that the allergy-resistant mice had more of the L. johnsonii in their guts. When the other mice were given doses of the bacteria, they, too, became better equipped to deal with allergens. Making stronger direct links between the dogs and the bacteria is planned for the future.

How to Relieve Allergies Naturally
Watch more Allergies videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/417652-How-to-Relieve-Allergies-Naturally If you spend the summertime itching, sneezing, and wheezing, try natural remedies to deal with your allergies. Step 1: Use butterbur Try the European herb butterbur. Though how it works is not fully understood, butterbur has proven effective at reducing allergy symptoms. Step 2: Use nettle Take freeze-dried nettle. Nettle, also known as stinging nettle, dog nettle, California nettle, and dwarf nettle, is available freeze-dried and packaged at herbal grocers and vitamin outlets. Tip You can also make nettle tea. Pick young, fresh nettle, dry the leaves, put them in a teapot, and add boiling water. Let the tea steep for a few minutes, and then drink it. Step 3: Try goldenseal Try a tonic made from the herb goldenseal. Goldenseal contains berberine, which has astringent and local antibacterial properties and may be effective for allergy relief. Step 4: Use a saline nasal spray Use a saline nasal spray. A saline nasal spray can be effective in clearing mucous from nasal cavities and can help liquefy secretions. Tip Use a saline solution in a neti pot to clear nasal passages. Step 5: Use grape seed extract and quercetin Use grape seed extract and the flavonoid compound quercetin. Both are available in supplement forms and can be effective in relieving allergy symptoms, especially when taken with vitamin C. Step 6: Use eucalyptus Use eucalyptus to relieve nasal congestion due to allergies. The vapor from eucalyptus clears congestion and loosens mucus and is especially effective when used in conjunction with steam treatments. Step 7: Try alfalfa Try alfalfa. Alfalfa is thought to improve the runny nose, sneezing, and itching present in allergic rhinitis. Step 8: Eat spicy foods Eat spicy foods, which thin mucous secretions, clearing nasal passages. The spicier the dish, the more effective this remedy is. Step 9: Avoid irritants Avoid eating melon, banana, cucumber, sunflower seeds, chamomile, and herbal supplements containing echinacea, which can worsen your symptoms if you suffer from ragweed or pollen allergies. Look forward to the end of allergy season, when you'll be able to confidently go outside again. Did You Know? Moving to another location is no guarantee of relief for allergy sufferers because they usually develop allergies to their new region's pollens and molds within a few years of moving.

Apple Cider Vinegar can heal your dog or cat
Apple cider vinegar saved my pet, Sasha. This simple home remedy does wonders for cats and dogs. It cures stomach problems including runny stool, vomiting and urinary tract infections common among house pets. It also curbs those pesky hair balls and unnecessary vomiting. It does wonders with their immune system and their respiratory system, and aids their digestive track. It's also good for urinary tract infections or prevents crystals from forming in the urine, and it gets rid of those brown tear stains. In fact, it helped my cat who was near death get back on track. I really love this stuff. Less is more so please don't give your cat more than a recommended dose of 1/4 tsp diluted in 8 ozs. of water. They trust you, so don't hurt them. My cat, Sasha, had been sick for 3 weeks straight before I stumbled on this information. It really, really works. I thank God for it because I'm not sure if my cat would have survived. He lost a lot of weight while he was sick. He weighs 20 pounds and it was noticeable. Now, he's gained 80 percent of his weight back and he's not sick anymore. He got sick because I changed to high quality cat food, but he was too old to adjust to the change, so I had to switch him back. He is happy as a little clam now. He's birthday is in December. He will be 15 years old -- that's a major milestone for any cat. Sasha has since gone on to heaven, but he was 17 years old when he passed, and he had a fabulous quality of life before he passed. So, I could be the poster child for this stuff. NomNomNow Fact - Chicken Allergies
In this video, Dr. Justin Shmalberg explains how allergies develop and why chicken is a common allergy among dogs. Many people believe that chicken is a common allergen amongst dogs, but this actually has little to do with the ingredient of chicken itself, and more to do with the frequency with which chicken in included in many dogs' diets, and how this leads to the development of chicken allergies in many dogs. To avoid your dog developing a chicken allergy, it is important to vary your dog's diet. If possible, alternate between various recipes so that an intolerance to key ingredients does not develop. Here at NomNomNow, we offer the feature of recipe rotation, which allows your dog to enjoy a different recipe every week. Starting your puppy on recipe rotation at a young age can be very important in preventing chicken allergies in dogs, though it can also be a great solution for older dogs who currently suffer from chicken allergies, and would like to rotate between other flavors with different protein sources such as beef, pork, turkey, and egg. If your dog suffers from chicken allergies, begin creating a profile at nomnomnow.com/profile to see what an ideal fresh dog food diet would look like. With advice from our veterinary nutritionist Dr. Justin Shmalberg, you can rest assured that your dog with chicken allergies will no longer suffer while eating NomNomNow.
