Part 1: HOW TO stop your Dog Canine Beagle Scratching Itching Allergy Flaky Skin.
This is part one of a series. My dog Bailey (beagle) has skin problems or allergies and she itches like crazy and cant stop scratching. Its so bad, that the fur under her neck is almost all gone and there is very irritated skin. There is nothing I can do to stop it. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This dog shampoo got almost 100% positive reviews: http://amzn.to/2fD5p1y ---- pH balanced for dogs. http://amzn.to/2iivELt --- Dog/cat shampoo for seborrheic dermatitis or DANDRUFF. (Excellent!) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Its an ongoing problem that has lasted almost 5+ years. The vets have no solutions. They keep saying to try different foods, but I have tried 5 different foods with no luck. The only thing that seems to work temporarily is the steroid prednisone, which stops the itch almost instantly, but is only temporary. With prednisone they prescribe an anti-fungal and anti-microbial. But still, after a few weeks, the itch comes back and then the raw skin, etc. In this series, I am going to try and figure the problem out myself and report the progress back to you. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "How Accurate is Google Measure?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=982aVPvCv7I -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

Choosing The Right Food For Pets Suffering Food Allergies
http://www.your-pets-r-family-2.com/ When fed the same food for long periods of time many dogs and cats will develop signs of intolerance to the foods protein source. If your veterinarian has diagnosed a food allergy they will most likely place your pet on a diet with a unique protein and carbohydrate. These are sometimes referred to as "novel" proteins or carbohydrates. A unique protein is one that your pet has never been exposed to. Originally Lamb and rice diets were the common choice but over time this formula gained popularity to such a degree that many of the pet food manufacturers began introducing it into their product lines. The result is that most dogs and cats have been fed lamb as a protein source at some point.

Cure your dogs allergies skin and ear infections. Make your own dog food.
Make your pet healthier and allergie free by making their food at home. A good siter for foods NOT to feed your dog http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+1659&aid=1030 (((( I am not a vet and you are solely responsible for what you feed your pet )))) As for the recipe: All will depend on the size batch you are making so go by the percentage below. You may alter this according to how you believe you should feed your pet. We use: about 30-40 percent protien (more around 40 right now for the puppy) beef, fish, pork, turkey, chicken. If you dog is itching... just use beef and fish to start with and if they stop or improve add pork next time and see if they are still goog to go. if so try the next protien until you find the one that makes them itch. then don't use that one ever lol. 30 - 40 percent veggies (stear away from corn as it just passes through dogs because their system is to short to absorb it). But if there is a great deal on mixed veggies by all means use it. about 10 percent potatos mixed with sweet potatos or by thereselves. 10 -15 percent jasmine rice. (add about a half a cup extra water and cook slightly longer so the rice is really soft. You can add fruits as well and also veggies like squash and cucumber eggplant etc. Also you can get a multi-vitemin to make sure you are giving them all the vitemins and minerals.

Todays question is: What's causing my dogs skin allergies and what are the symptoms? Your dog's skin allergies are linked to their compromised immune system, a result of an unnatural commercial pet food diet affecting unnatural outcomes. An outbreak of demodectic mange; constant scratching, even to the point of causing bare patches or open wounds; coat hair that's greasy, dry, brittle or coarse to the touch, or oily to the touch and fusty in odor; some form of dermatitis appearing in flaky skin or dandruff; ears that appear less than perfectly clean, with possible red eczema like skin, waxy or other accumulated particles visible deeper down the ear; excess shedding as hair easily comes away from the body; paw licking to ease that athletes foot type sensation; spotty pimples and other skin eruptions; cracked dry nose and paws; and yellowing of the whites of the eyes. Every one of these outcomes links directly to the pet food you feed your dog every day. The skin is the largest organ of the body (that's true for humans too) and the only one we can easily get a good look at. When problems show up, it's the skin that usually reveals them first. This is the immune system's way of dealing with disease, by keeping the problem as far away from the vital organs as possible and for as long as possible. Eventually chronic or persistent problems drive deeper into the body as the toxic overload proves too much for the immune system to fight off. This can result in failure of major body organs, or worse, the phenomenon of rogue cells turning into full fledged cancer somewhere in the body. So what can you do to stop the problems before it's too late and clear up the allergies quickly? Switch diets from a heavily processed fast food diet in cans and packets to a more gentle fresh food diet, a species appropriate diet that dogs have thrived on for millions of years before modern convenience food found its way into your dog causing their present allergies and quiet suffering. Within weeks of improving your dog's diet and having their teeth thoroughly cleaned, you'll notice that the scratching has stopped, the hair becomes softer and cleaner, the shedding dissipates, the ears return to health and cleanliness, and smelling your dog's coat and breath have become a joy. And, as all this happens, you can celebrate the fact that your dog's immune system is getting stronger by the day. This Dan Scott for Healthy Dog For Life.com http://healthydogforlife.com

Using commercial products may or may not help and you might end up spending a fortune finding a product that actually works. Before you go out and buy another product, try using apple cider vinegar for dogs skin. There are many benefits of apple cider vinegar for dogs that might just solve those irritating conditions that are plaguing your pet. Apple cider vinegar helps to relieve itchy skin for dogs who get themselves into yeast or poison ivy. Simply mix a 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Apply directly to the dog’s itchy spots, but be careful NOT to spray on open wounds – the vinegar will sting. If you can’t apply by spraying and yeast is the main concern, you may feed apple cider vinegar in your pet’s food or water. Yeast does not do survive in acid environments that apple cider vinegar will create, so you may feed 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon twice daily to your dog. Find out how you can use household items to live healthier & save money. Learn more. Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar contains the “mother of vinegar” which has many beneficial enzymes for your pet’s health. It is also raw and unfiltered, so your dog will get the most benefit possible out of using apple cider vinegar. Sponging apple cider vinegar dog’s coat after bathing can help remove soap residues and improve hair condition. The acidity and live enzymes in Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar will help to kill bacteria that causes flaking skin conditions. Soak your dog’s coat to the skin and let it air-dry. This same treatment is also said to repel fleas and ticks. Apple cider vinegar can also be massaged into sore or sprained muscles. It is the foundation of many herbal liniments, relieving pain and inflammation. Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse for Dogs Use apple cider vinegar rinse for dogs after shampooing if your dog has skin problems related to allergies, fleas, or ringworm. 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar 1 quart of water Mix well and use once a week as an after-shampoo rinse. DO NOT use water to rinse off the ACV – simply towel your dog dry. Also, you can try using apple cider vinegar to soak your dog’s feet if they have itchy paws from seasonal allergies (pollen). Dilute 1 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1-2 cups of water. Allow your dog to soak his paws in the mixture. This can greatly reduce the itching. For problems with flaky skin or dandruff, you can try massaging full-strength apple cider vinegar your dog’s hair before shampooing. How to Tell Your Dog Has Allergies
Dog Allergy Symptoms - as part of the series on dogs and pets by GeoBeats. Hello, my name is Dr. Carolyn Quagliata. I am the owner and founder of City Pet Doctor. I am here to talk about the most common allergies in dogs. The first is food allergies. Food allergies in dogs manifest as vomiting, diarrhea and lack of appetite. Dogs are actually allergic to the protein source in the food, so usually it is a specific type of meat whether it be chicken, beef, fish, venison, rabbit: the list goes on. The second is seasonal allergies also known as atopy. These dogs present as having very itchy skin, red skin. A lot of times they will lose their hair and they also get secondary infections. Usually it is a result of certain types of pollen that accumulate in the air at that time. The third is flea allergies. The name speaks for itself but these allergies present very similar to the seasonal allergies or atopy. The important thing to keep in mind is that an allergic dog can have a combination of all the types of allergies that I listed. For example, they can be food allergic and also have atopy. So the important thing is that if your dog is experiencing any chronic symptoms whether it be vomiting, diarrhea, itchy skin or red skin make sure you talk to your Vet and so that your dog can get treated and be much more comfortable.

Homemade Dog Food For Dogs With Allergies
►► http://homemadedogfoodrecipes.aedvz.com ◄◄ THE BEST WAY TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE THE BESTS FOODS FOR YOUR DOG THAT REALLY WORKS!!! Homemade Dog Food For Dogs With Allergies Despite claims from commercial and specialty dog food companies, foods formulated to address allergies may not be effective in helping your dog overcome the problem. There are too many factors to consider and a general veterinary workup may not isolate the allergenic factor. Since about one third of pet allergies can be traced to the foods they eat, it's worth exploring this area first. It's usually the easiest approach, so it makes sense to do this first. Of course, if you can afford it, a more in-depth vet examination could help identify whether it's due to causative ingredients in the food or perhaps some other environmental factor. Most reactions consist of itchy, possibly crusty, patches on the dog's skin. You may not notice it at first and worry that your dog is having a different issue, such as dry skin or something toxic in the dog's surroundings, including any medications being taken or chemicals used. Some dogs are allergic to fleas, so that is worth testing, too. The dog could react to flea bites, or to the repellant chemicals. My 8-year-old Rottweiler developed itchy, crusty patches over a year ago and a cursory look from the vet resulted in a recommendation to treat her with Benadryl and bathe her with a skin-soothing pet shampoo. None of this worked, so the next idea was to explore the possibility of an allergy to something in her food. Since she had been eating the same food for most of her life, it seemed like a useless idea, but we discovered that was exactly why we needed to test it. It's not uncommon for an allergy to develop, over time, to the most common ingredients, especially beef, eggs, wheat, milk solids, nuts, cheese, fruits, some vegetables, and spices or other additives. I initially switched to one of the premium foods that consists only of natural ingredients (and is quite expensive). It helped a little. The patches over her rump finally cleared up, as did those on her shoulders. Only the worst one remained, on her snout. This meant the problem was not solved but that we were on the right track. That's when I decided to take complete control of what she was eating. I found several good recipes for homemade dog food and jumped right in, "cooking" for my dog. It's been worth it. The last patch is finally clearing up and she seems grateful to be free of the constant itching. Be advised, however, that cleansing the dog's system to solve an allergy requires patience. It can take more than a year to get results. Signs that your dog may have an allergy: * Itchy skin with crusty patches, especially on the rump * Constantly licking the front feet * Ears bother but there are no signs of ear mites * Butt-dragging (though there are no worms) * Diarrhea, flatulence (gas) If the old symptoms return when you resume the previous diet, you can assume there is something in that food that caused the problem. You may need to forever avoid that food. The worst thing you can do is to suppress these symptoms with cortisone drugs, as this only suppresses their natural immune system and in time, worsens the problem. Feel free to do your own searching and testing to find a recipe your dog likes, but the one we settled on is the following. It will serve one large dog for two days or a small dog for a week. Be sure to keep it well refrigerated. 3 cups brown rice (or millet or oats) 6 cups raw meat, such as duck, lamb, etc. (avoid the common meats, such as beef and chicken) 2 Tbsp vegetable oil 2 Tbsp bone meal (non-cooked sources) Provide a natural multi-vitamin supplement from a reliable source, formulated specifically for dogs. what is the best diet dog food homemade soft dog food recipes healthy dog food homemade recipes make dog food at home recipe homemade dog food for chihuahuas what s the best dog food how to make homemade dog food recipe homemade dog food vegetables best healthy homemade dog food recipes how to make homemade dog food for puppies the best homemade dog food recipes healthiest homemade dog food recipes cheap healthy homemade dog food recipes how to make homemade healthy dog food homemade dog food diet recipes homemade dog food recipes for rottweilers how to make healthy dog food recipes dogs homemade food homemade balanced dog food homemade wet dog food recipes what s the best dry dog food

What is the BEST NATURAL FLEA TREATMENT for Dogs & Cats
https://www.epicnaturalhealth.com/what-is-the-best-natural-flea-treatment-for-my-cat-or-dog/ What is the best natural flea treatment for dogs & Cats flea's bite will cause painful, itchy irritation in dogs and cats and people are not immune to flea bites as well. Fleas (like bedbugs) can reproduce pretty quickly, making your home quite uncomfortable. Most people want to Get rid of fleas as quickly as possible will ensure they don't spread from your pet (or yard) to people. The problem with many flea killers is that they contain nasty chemicals. commercial flea collars are often not popular especially when your kids and other family members play with the pet, they’re also being exposed to toxic pesticides and other chemicals. Here are some natural remedies to ensure that your pets, and your home, are itch-free! 1. Make your own non-toxic flea killer-with 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of essential orange oil. Combine the oil and baking soda into a jar. Shake well to combine and then sprinkle your pet and rub the powder mixture into their skin. 2. make an anti flea shampoo - by using 1/2 cup of dog shampoo mixed with 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and two cups of water. Wash your dog weekly to the kill the critters. Many natural flea sprays contain a citrus extract called D-limonene, which repels and kills these biting bugs. PUBLIC DOMAIN 3. Keep fleas away from your yard with landscaping The easiest way to get rid of fleas is to not get them in the first place. Deter fleas (and other annoying bugs) by choosing your landscaping wisely. Planting lemon balm, sage, catnip, mint, basil, and lemongrass throughout your garden and keeping pots of the same herbs near outside living areas. . Make your own flea color Keep your pup safe while he plays in the backyard by making your own flea collar from a bandana. Mix 3 to 5 drops of lavender oil with 1 to 3 tablespoons of water. Use an eye dropper to apply a few drops of the solution to the bandana and tie it loosely around your pet's neck Bathe Your Pets And Pet Bedding Each Week While bathing your pets may seem obvious, many people overlook the importance of proper pet hygiene to keep fleas and ticks at bay. Fleas are less attracted to clean pets, which is another reason why frequent bathing of your dog and cat is so important. Use a natural shampoo or peppermint shampoo, and add 2 cups of apple cider vinegar to the warm bath water, which will provide even more flea protection. And don’t neglect to clean your pets’ bedding! Washing their bedding regularly in hot water with a mild detergent will eliminate flea eggs and larvae. Use a Flea Comb Each Day Using a fine flea comb not only helps to prevent flea infestation, but also removes existing pests. Dead pet hair lands on mats, which provide the perfect hiding spot for ticks and a lush breeding ground for fleas. For the best results, comb your furry friends’ stomach, tail and face, which is where pests typically hang out in the largest numbers. Combing also provides you with the ability to find and remove any recent ticks Apple Cider Vinegar Flea Deterrents Another wonderful do-it-yourself natural flea repellent spray is made with apple cider vinegar which I mentioned earlier. It’s easy to prepare and poses no risk to your pets’ health. Simply mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water. Add the mixture to a spray bottle and frequently spritz it on your dog or cat pet. It’s recommended that you also spray the mixture on their bedding. You can make this apple cider spray even more powerful by adding a few drops of essential oils that are distasteful to fleas, such as lemongrass, neem and catnip oil. The Flea-Busting Power of Coconut Oil Why is coconut oil such an effective flea repellent? It’s packed with lauric acid, which is coconut oil’s “secret ingredient” that deters both fleas and ticks. It’s also great for providing your cat or dog with healthy skin and coat! If your pet already has fleas, you can dip your hands in coconut oil and massage them deep into your pet’s coat, working all the way down to the skin. Next, take a fine flea comb and comb it through the fur. The coconut oil will cause the fleas to stick to the comb, and the rest will be repelled by the coconut oil and jump off! Brewer’s Yeast Both fleas and ticks have an aversion to the vitamin thiamine, which is abundant in brewer’s yeast. Thiamine is a member of the B vitamin group, and is a non-toxic way to repel fleas and ticks, and also boost your cat or dog’s immune system. How does it work? When your pet consumes brewer’s yeast, it ingests thiamine and later exudes it through its skin. Fleas are repelled by the taste and odor. Use 1mg per 5 lbs. of body weight in your pet’s food. You can also help keep fleas away from your dog or cat by rubbing brewer's ye Diatomaceous Earth is another popular natural flue treatment https://www.epicnaturalhealth.com/what-is-the-best-natural-flea-treatment-for-my-cat-or-dog/
