Don't Stay in School

03:18
What I learned in school vs. What I didn't learn in school. iTunes: http://goo.gl/n4EgkZ | Bandcamp: http://goo.gl/gDetLT I can't remember feeling so passionate whilst writing something in ages. I absolutely love a lot of the subjects I mention in this - astronomy, particle physics, pure maths... but I hate that everyone is forced to learn them. It should be a choice. There are a million other things wrong with education, but this one stood out as the most obvious and most insane. The point of this song is to get people talking - if you share it, use #DontStayInSchool so we can all get involved in the conversation. Lyrics: I wasn’t taught how to get a job but I can remember dissecting a frog I wasn’t taught how to pay tax but I know loads about Shakespeare's classics I was never taught how to vote they devoted that time to defining isotopes I wasn’t taught how to look after my health but mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell Never spent a lesson on current events instead I studied The Old American West I was never taught what laws there are. I was never taught what laws there are. Let me repeat - I was not taught the laws for the country I live in, but I know how Henry the VIII killed his women. Divorced beheaded died, divorced beheaded survived glad that’s in my head instead of financial advice I was shown the wavelengths of different hues of light but I was never taught my human rights Apparently there’s 30, do you know them? I don’t Why the hell can’t we both recite them by rote?! I know igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks Yet I don’t know squat about trading stocks Or how money works at all - where does it come from? Who controls it? How does the thing that motivates the world function? not taught how to budget and disburse my earnings I was too busy rehearsing cursive. Didn’t learn how much it costs to raise a kid or what an affidavit is but I spent days on what the quadratic equation is negative b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4ac over 2a That’s insane, that’s absolutely insane. They made me learn that over basic first aid How to recognise the most deadly Mental disorders // or diseases with preventable causes // How to buy a house with a mortgage // if I could afford it ‘cause abstract maths was deemed more important than advice that would literally save thousands of lives but it’s cool, ‘cause now I could tell you if the number of unnecessary deaths caused by that choice was prime. Never taught present day practical medicines, but I was told what the ancient hippocratic method is “I’ve got a headache, the pain is ceaseless what should I take?” umm... maybe try some leeches? “Could we discuss domestic abuse and get the facts or how to help my depressed friend with their mental state?” Ummm... no but learn mental maths because “you won’t have a calculator with you every day!” They say it’s not the kids, the parents are the problem Then if you taught the kids to parent that’s the problem solved then! All this advice about using a condom but none for when you actually have a kid when you want one I’m only fluent in this language, for serious? The rest of the world speaks two, do you think I’m an idiot? They chose the solar over the political system So like a typical citizen now I don’t know what I’m voting on which policies exist, or how to make them change mais oui, je parle un peu de Francais So at 18, I was expected to elect a representative For a system I had never ever ever ever been presented with But I won’t take it I’ll tell everyone my childhood was wasted I’ll share it everywhere how I was “educated” And insist these pointless things #DontStayInSchool ► Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/boyinabandcom ► Twitter: http://twitter.com/DavePBrown ► Tumblr: http://davebiab.tumblr.com/ ► Music: http://boyinaband.bandcamp.com ► T-Shirts: http://boyinaband.bigcartel.com/ ★ ★ ★ THANKS TO MY PATRONS FOR SUPPORTING ME! ► Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/boyinaband Bart aka FantasyIH, Ema Simpson, Thomas Lloyd, Vincent Olsen, Ofer Mustigman, Sergey Khegay, Lance Thackeray.

6 Exercises to Kill Chronic Knee, Foot or Hip Pain

11:15
If you, just like 15 to 25 percent of people in the US, suffer from chronic knee pain, or just get tired sore feet from constantly being on the go, pay attention to these 6 exercises to cure chronic knee, foot or hip pain. You don’t need an expensive treatment if you regularly perform the simple workout at home. Knees are the second largest source of recurrent pain, and once you add in the feet and hips, it turns out that the legs can cause big problems for a lot of people. Simple tip-toeing, besides strengthening your calves, helps improve your balance by reducing the area in contact with the ground, which makes keeping your balance quite a challenge. It strengthens your glutes and core muscles, improves your posture while simultaneously relieving back pain, increases the flexibility of your ankles, stretches the muscles around your shins, which are an otherwise difficult muscle group to target. Heel raises, ankle circles, resistance training and toe games are all effective exercises for relieving pain in different parts of your legs. Try to do rolling foot massage on a daily basis and do as many reps as you want or have time for. It gives the bottom of your foot a nice stretch and prevents foot-related injuries in the long run. Music: Diamond Ortiz - Inevitable https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS Exercise #1. Heel raises 1:01 Exercise #2. Tip-toeing 3:22 Exercise #3. Ankle circles 4:34 Exercise #4. Resistance training 5:47 Exercise #5. Toe games 7:42 Exercise #6. Rolling foot massage 9:24 Bonus 10:04 SUMMARY -You’ll need to grab a chair for this exercise. Stand behind it and use the back of the chair to support yourself. This exercise helps strengthen your ankles and works the muscles around the knee. -Simply tip-toe around your house kind of quickly. This will strengthen your calves and give a little workout to your toes and the balls of your feet. Aim to do this exercise regularly for 5 to 15 minutes or until you get tired. -This exercise helps loosen up the tendons and muscles in your legs and ankles. It’ll improve your flexibility, range of motion, and overall comfort while walking or standing. -Resistance training targets the muscles in your calves and inner and outer thighs, not only toning but also strengthening them. -Toe games is an important exercise because it strengthens the tiny muscles in your toes and feet. They tend to be underdeveloped, which can be a big problem since they support your arches, keep your toes properly aligned, and even contribute to balance. -Rolling foot massage works the muscles in the heels and balls of your feet. It’s also a nice relaxing massage for your arches. -If your feet are killing you after a long day, use one thumb to put pressure on the spot between your big toe and pointer toe and use the other thumb to press the point between your ring toe and pinky toe. Gently massage these spots for up to 15 minutes for easy and quick relaxation. The Respiratory System | Educational Video for Kids

03:01
Hello friends, welcome to a new Happy Learning video. Today we are going to learn about the respiratory system and respiration. We all know that to be able to live we must breath. And breathing means we suck in the air around us and exhale the carbon dioxide. Well the respiratory system is in charge of this extremely important role and to do this we use our lungs as well as out respiratory tract which are what makes up the respiratory system. The respiratory tract are tubes through which air travels along to get to the lungs. It all stars in the mouth or nostrils which are like doors or windows allowing air into our body when we inhale. Then the air passes through the pharynx and reaches the larynx. Did you know that your vocal cords are in the larynx, which is what makes us talk and sing? La la la la They are similar to guitar cords, when they vibrate they produce a voice… So once the air passes through the larynx it then reaches the trachea; the trachea is divided into two tubes, called the bronchial tube, where the air continues to travel through; the bronchus, are inside the lungs and branch out into thinner tubes called alveoli and it is there, in these small organs, where the exchange of gases takes place. The oxygen from the air goes into the blood and what is left of the air, which is the carbon dioxide, returns back through the respiratory system to then be expelled out through exhalation. As you can see, the respiratory system is extremely important, so we must take care of it. We must do a lot of sports and look after nature so that we breath fresh clean air. Healthy lungs are pink in color but when we breath in smoke from a cigarette or very contaminated air, our lungs begin to change to a brown color and stop working so well. When this happens we notice that we get tiered without having done much exercise and we begin to cough without having a cold. It certainly isn't very intelligent of us to harm our lungs, don’t you think? So remember…don’t ever, ever, ever smoke and like that your respiratory tract as well as your lungs stay healthy and you will be much happier… Goodbye friends. Oh, and don’t forget to subscribe to Happy Learning.

Lost Frequencies ft. James Blunt - Melody (Official Music Video)

02:26
Stream it now via; https://FF003.lnk.to/MelodyMA Subscribe to Lost Frequencies channel: http://bit.ly/2CwQGek After the success of previous releases, including the wildly fruitful melodies and raw vocals of ‘Crazy’, Lost Frequencies now announces ‘Melody’ featuring chart-topping singer-songwriter James Blunt, with an uplifting video to match. Taking adolescent troubles and hardship wrapped up with with love, excitement and music as both a release, and a tool for confidence and visibility , the video for ‘Melody’ was filmed at Lost Frequencies’s own boarding school he attended in his formative teenage years, giving an injection of relatability, hope and positivity for a visual that perfectly missors the hopeful, empassioned lyrics. On the track, Lost Frequencies pays homage to country sounds using melodic guitar strums and by twisting Blunt’s soaring vocal into a unique loop come the chorus, which flows around the rhythm like a waterfall. The release came about after Blunt had been writing in the studio with Steve Mac (co-writer and co-producer on Ed Sheeran's ‘Shape Of You’) and Ammar Malik (co-writer of Maroon 5's ‘Moves Like Jagger’) on a song called ‘Hey, Melody.’, that Lost Frequencies then added his studio spin on for a unique release. 10 Strongest Kids In The World | Bruce Lee Kid | Interesting Facts

10 Strongest Kids In The World | Bruce Lee Kid | Interesting Facts ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/gYLyzW For copyright matters please contact us at: miniminter1992.29@gmail.com It’s easy to assume that being taller and bigger than a kid makes us stronger than them. Some kids, however, are pure muscle packed into tiny beings. From China to New Jersey, children all over the world are finding their passion and wowing the world with their physical strength. Whether it’s to stay away from video games or simply to stand out in a crowd, these remarkable kids have found the inspiration, focus and ability to smash through world records and push themselves to the limits of what their bodies can do. Here is out list of Strongest Kids In The World. Yang Jinlong This young boy from Chuzhou in China’s Anhui province was pulling cars with ropes and carrying cement sacks of 100kg by age 7. He quickly became a celebrity in China and around the world with the performance of strength such as pulling a van with a rope tied around this waist, lifting his father on his shoulders, or carrying heavy sacks of rice or cement powder. Ryusei Imai 6-year-old Ryusei Imai went viral on the Internet last year with his spot-on mimicking of Bruce Lee’s “Game of Death” nunchaku scene. The tiny fan of Bruce Lee went on to perform on television shows to showcase his unique capabilities at his young age. Eli Etherton You usually don’t expect kids to perform at bodybuilder events but that’s what Eli Etherton did. Having incredible muscle strength this 9-year-old boy competes in the big boys league. Although not known for many World Guinness records Eli shows incredible strength for a 9-year old. Claudio Stroe Like his brother Giuliano, Claudio has been awarded praise for lifting over 4 times his body weight something even most bodybuilders have a hard time doing. Claudio has been working out and practicing fitness training since the age of 2. Giuliano Stroe This Romanian brother of Claudio Stroe is power hero. Training since the age of 2 this boy has earned multiple championships and broken records. Giuliano is a Guinness world record holder in multiple categories such as most push-ups without feet touching the floor, longest timed human flag and fastest 10-minute hand walk with weights on his feet. Richard Sandrak Although not a kid anymore, Richard’s remarkable childhood accomplishments earned him spot on our list of top 10 strongest kids in the world. Born in Ukraine in 1982, Richard quickly took up stretches and martial arts upon moving with his family to the United States. Andrey Kostash This Ukranian boy has been training since the age of 5. He broke a world record by doing 4000 push-ups in 2 hours. He was reportedly unhappy with this number, as he did not achieve his personal best of… 6000! Liam Hoekstra Diagnosed with a rare medical condition called Muscle Hypertrophy as an infant, Liam had a 40% muscle body mass at age 3. C.J. Cummings At only age 14 C.J. was lifting over 100kg. Now 15, he has broken the world record in clean and jerk lift with 175kg, however because the competition was not global, he did not earn an official title. Jake Schellenschlagger Training since the age of 11, this teenage bodybuilder has earned the world champion title for squat lifting and can now deadlift over 181kg. His father, a bodybuilder himself, reportedly refused to have his son play video games all day and encouraged young Jake to take up fitness instead. Four short years later, Jake is a sponsored fitness celebrity with numerous championship titles in his name. CJ Senter This 12-year-old fitness guru has incredible strength and talent. Known as The Workout Kid for his enthusiasm and passion for fitness and healthy living, CJ already has a significant media presence for his involvement in getting kids and teens fit and healthy. Kyle Kane Kyle started kickboxing at the age of 4 and by the time he was 9 was a black belt. When talking about his love of weight lifting, he said “’I just want to be as muscly as I can be. Dylan and Jessica Best Dylan and Jessica, along with their father Nick and mother Callie, appeared on the TLC show The Strongest Family In The World. Probably a pretty good precursor to landing a spot on this list. In the documentary, it is claimed that the family trains up to 240 hours per week. Varya Akulova When Varya Akulova was born, it was clear that her parents had big plans for her. Her father Yuri and mom Larysa were both professional weightlifters that met each other when working in a traveling circus. Yuri started training Varya when she was 4 days old, saying in an interview “I was determined right from the start that our tiny Varya would become the strongest girl in the entire world…. How to Fix Your Posture in 4 Moves! (PERMANENTLY)

09:19
Fix your posture in 90 days - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW If you have poor posture, you not only are aware of it but likely would welcome an easy way to fix it. In this video, I’m showing you a 4 step plan that can attack the most common posture flaws to give you a nice, tall, upright posture sooner than you think. I’m going to show you how to hit correct rounded shoulders, a hunched back, crooked neck, forward head and tilted pelvis. When you apply the easy drills shown here you will start to feel better almost instantly and work towards permanently fixing your bad posture. The four biggest problem areas for those with bad posture is the neck, shoulders, mid back and pelvis. Specifically, if you spend a lot of time sitting at a desk or behind the wheel you will wind up getting slumping shoulders and a rounded back. To counteract the head being pulled downward, you wind up tilting your head up so you can look straight ahead. This has the effect of overarching your neck and weakening the deep neck flexors. Finally, when the upper spine curves forward, the pelvis winds up curling under. This posterior pelvic tilt is something that adaptively tightens the hamstrings and weakens the lower back. If you want to fix your posture you have to hit each of these areas with individualized attention. We have actually addressed each of these in depth with the following videos: How to Fix Rounded Shoulders - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLwTC-lAJws How to Fix Anterior Pelvic Tilt - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-CrEi0ymMg How to Fix Posterior Pelvic Tilt - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1sfPfsESDQ How to Fix a Rounded Upper Back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-GDuhjOAU8 That said, there is something that you can do for each of these areas that will help you to correct the postural problems without having to spend a long time each day. These are efficient and effective but do need your consistency in order to make a lasting impact on the correction. The funny thing about posture is that we often spend a lifetime doing the things that ruin our posture in the first place, yet expect that we will be able to fix it in an hour. While not an hour, these posture correction exercises will have an immediate impact on the way you feel. You should feel as if you have more mobility in the tightened areas and that your body begins to move more free and easy. From here, with a bit of consistency you will be able to make permanent changes in your posture that will have you feeling stronger and looking much better than you do now. An important note on posture and working out, that I referenced earlier, is that it is not a good idea to lift weights when your body is severely out of alignment. All you are doing is strengthening poor posture and dysfunction. Lifting weights in the presence of dysfunction is quickly going to lead to not only other compensations elsewhere in the kinetic chain but likely wind up in injury. It is much smarter to fix the issues with your posture first and then strengthen your body to reinforce the new perfect posture. For a complete program that helps you to correct your posture at the same time that you are actually building new muscle and getting ripped, head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Use the same exact workout routine used by Jesse to not only add muscle to his frame but dramatically improve how he looks when standing. How to Fix Anterior Pelvic Tilt (SIT HAPPENS!)

07:16
Build without the imbalances - http://athleanx.com/x/fix-imbalances Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW Anterior pelvic tilt is by far one of the most common dysfunctions one can have. In this video, I’m going to show you how to reverse the effects of chronic sitting by addressing what muscles are causing anterior pelvic tilt and how to strengthen the areas that are weak. With a step by step attack plan, you are going to be able to fix this muscle and joint imbalance once and for all. To start, it is important to define what anterior pelvic tilt really is. It is the resultant posture of tightness and weakness in certain muscle groups of the core and pelvis that causes your pelvis to tilt anteriorly and downward. This can be seen pretty easily from the side in somebody that has it. You will notice an exaggerated curvature in the lower back and possibly even a protruding stomach. The belly is not protruding because of it being overweight (although it might be) but rather because the muscles of the abs are not strong enough to counteract the downward pull of the pelvis. Realizing that our bodies work in a cross pattern muscularly, you will quickly see that the two areas of tightness are the lower back on the posterior side and the hip flexors or iliopsoas on the anterior or front side. The muscles of the hip flexors can become easily shortened because of the fact that they are in this state for prolonged periods of time from sitting. Whether you sit at work all day or just spend a long time in front of the computer or even driving, your hip flexors will have a tendency to adaptively shorten. This causes a resultant weakness in the muscles on the opposite side of the joint, the glutes and hamstrings. When this happens you actually get a worsening of the problem since you don’t have the muscular strength to counteract the anterior and downward pull of the pelvis by the hip flexors. As a compensation to the glutes being weak, the lower back attempts to kick in and help out. It provides extra extension not provided by the glutes and in doing so, compromises its strength and integrity. When combined with the pull of the iliopsoas on the lumber vertebrae, you get an overly active and tight low back. This not only can cause pain but further exacerbates the problem. Along with this static positioning of the pelvis you get a disuse stretch weakness on the abdominals. In order to counteract this cascade of problems you need to stretch the hip flexors, strengthen the abs with exercises that don’t over activate the hip flexors, and strengthen the glutes and hamstrings. One thing you do not want to do is stretch your hamstrings. While it is normal to instinctively try and stretch whatever muscles are tight, this would be a mistake here. The hamstring tightness is not causing the anterior pelvic tilt, it is a result of the anterior pelvic tilt. Stretching them will only make the problem worse. A bad workout program will make this problem worse as well. If you want to avoid the breakdown that comes from following bad exercises or bad workouts then it’s time you follow a program created by a physical therapist trusted by today’s top professional athletes. You can get this in the ATHLEAN-X Training System available at http://athleanx.com For more videos on how to fix muscular imbalances like the anterior pelvic tilt, be sure to subscribe to our channel here on youtube at http://youtube.com/user/jdcav24

You can follow Tom on FaceBook (TomThummer) and Twitter (@tomthummer) Quoting from ABC's Triple J Unearthed website: "TOM THUM, THE VERSATILE VOICEBOX 'Tom Thum appears to have swallowed an entire orchestra and several backing singers' The Guardian (UK) 'There are not enough superlatives to describe the wonder of this beatboxing virtuoso - I am still trying to figure out how he got those sounds out of his mouth' The Daily Telegraph (UK) 'The mic master seems to have an orchestra living in his throat: trumpet blasts, guitar strums and samples from classic songs including Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" effortlessly spout from his mouth' Time Out, NY These are apt quotes to describe the performance of one of Australia's most prominent and respected beatboxers and serial pests. Only in his mid-twenties Tom Thum has achieved and experienced more than most artists could hope to achieve in a lifetime. From winning the team battles (alongside Joel Turner) in the World Beatbox Championships in 2005, to fulfilling every artists dream and performing on Broadway in New York with the Tom Tom Crew, Tom has seen his fair share of accolades and well and truly paid his dues. Raised by the small but accommodating Brisbane hip hop scene, Tom started out as a graffiti writer and a Bboy but slowly rose to recognition through his ability to produce unhuman sounds and his natural knack for performing and weaselling his way on stage... Although the stage seems the ideal habitat for Tom he is also no stranger to community and has been helping the scene improve through conducting a plethora of workshops in many places that usually wouldn't have access to such knowledge and skill. Tom has travelled from the very top of Australia teaching in the Indigenous communities of Mornington and Thursday Islands all the way to the very bottom with a series of workshops in Tasmania and Adelaide. He has also spent considerable time teaching on Palm Island and in Charleville and many other places that would otherwise be Starved for education about proper hip hop and the positive message that music preaches. As Tom's experience within the music industry expands, he plans to push the limits of the human voice as far as inhumanly possible. Enrolling the help of numerous loop stations, Tom has been conducting DJ sets using only his voice and nothing else, propelling crowds across the country into a frenzy of jaw-dropping disbelief, as he re-creates and remixes classic joints and jams from all eras and genres. At present Tom is working on an album ranging across many different generes and features and hopes to have it finished by early 2012. You might see him on a stage at a festival looping up a storm or supporting anyone from the Hilltop Hoods to Blue King Brown, or you might catch him annoying the hell out of commuters on public transport. Either way, you will notice him soon enough. Keep an ear out for Tom Thum." Weight Loss Stopped? Don't Make This Mistake!

02:40
Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 Dr. Berg talks about the mistake you are doing when you are not losing weight. The mistake is giving up and quitting the program when it is actually working despite not losing the weight. The principle to follow must be to not lose weight to get healthy BUT get healthy first before losing weight. Weight loss is just one of many indicators of health. Repair is healing and when the body is in the healing mode, it is rebuilding the cellular walls, the structures and the atrophy(lose of muscle), you may experience a net zero effect of weight loss and the worst thing you can do is to stop something that is actually was working. Health Indicators: • Increase Energy • No Cravings • Better Skin • Less Stress • No hunger Hey guys! So I had a question, are you not losing weight? Listen, don't make this mistake. I know it's frustrating, you do a program and then all of a sudden it slows down and is not working. Now, here's what I find, I've been in practice for 30 years and I've run into this many many times and I just want you to not make this really big mistake and the mistake is giving up, quitting the program when it actually was working. But because you didn't lose weight you thought it wasn't working. It's because you have something backwards and that's this one principle "it's not lose weight to get healthy, it's get healthy first to lose the weight". Weight loss is just one of the many indicators of health. Other indicators are increased energy, no cravings, better skin, less stress and no hunger. Now, when the body heals, it actually repairs. Repairing is healing now I just wanna define this one word before I finish this thought. It's autophagy, I don't know if you ever heard of autophagy. It's basically where the body becomes like a self-cleaning oven and it starts to repair it's old damaged protein parts and it recycles them to build new tissue. That happens when you do fasting. Now this next thing is very very key, protein is actually heavier than fat per volume. So when your body is in the healing mode and it's rebuilding the cellular walls and the structures and the atrophy or the loss of muscles that you have, maybe you're menopausal and you have this atrophy. Well, guess what? you ma experience at certain times a net zero effective weight loss and the worst thing you can do is to stop something that actually was working. Step back take a look if you have these other health indicators, are the other things improving, well give it time because it is working. So this might actually just sound really really simple but just realize that it does take a good amount of time to repair the body and it repairs with protein and that could be the reason why your is stopped but give it some more time because after the body does heal, you eventually tap out and use the fat that is being stored. When the body is in the healing mode, it doesn't just go right after the stored fat, it heals first, it repairs first. Alright, thanks for watching!
