Birth Control after Mini Gastric Bypass/Mini-Sleeve Bypass
Birth Control Mini Gastric Bypass / Mini-Sleeve Bypass (MGB / MSB) is a Short, Simple, Successful, Reversible Laparoscopic gastric bypass weight loss surgery. The operation usually takes only 30 min., hospital stay less than 24 hours. The Mini Gastric Bypass (MGB / MSB) is low risk, has excellent long term weight loss, minimal pain and can be easily reversed or revised. The MGB / MSB uses a long narrow gastric pouch like the sleeve gastrectomy but the MGB / MSB has been shown to be twice as effective as the sleeve The MGB decreases hunger (Ghrelin) and increases satiety/feeling full (Peptide YY). For over 12 years, more than 5,000 people from all across America, all 50 states and around the world have chosen the MGB: Join Us, Talk to over thousands of MGB'ers online. Q & A - 469 - Gastric Bypass, Sulfur, Celiac Disease, Toe Nail Fungus, Macular Degeneration
07:33 - Julie - Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! for all of the great knowledge you are sharing! I graduated as a Master Herbalist from Dr. Christopher's in 2011, at the age of 58. I'm now 65. I was doing a great job at taking care of myself when I found your videos on YouTube. I ordered all three of Hildes Books because of your videos and on that basis decided to try eating a 100% fruit diet! I'm hooked! I love how I feel! One question, I'm bone on bone in my knees, can I heal them? 12:01 – Nikolai - I bought a few tinctures from you cuttently been on whole foods diet the past 7 months dropped 15 kg ! Feel amazing still fighting this tumour though ! Been getting positive results ! I am on the cannabis treatment aswell ! Wondering what your thoughts are about cannabiniods? My main question is how much dosage and how long for ? Till the tinctures run out ? Will go on a grape fast eventually! Though this is very hard as it effects my head when severely hungry ? 19:42 – Lisa - I have been watching the videos and truth has been cutting through the lies/matrix. I have ordered the first kit to start my healing. I am starting to eat fruits and raw veggies much more and more water. I am nervous about what will happen to me as I release the toxins in my body. I have had a gastric bypass and do not have a gall bladder or apendix. What can I expect in my body as things break loose and get pulled out? 25:22 – James - My partner and I love to visit the hot springs each weekend. Our favorite spring is called Hot Sulphur Springs, in Colorado. The water smells like rotten eggs, but it warm and the setting is beautiful. Is this exposure to sulfur toxic and dangerous? I know that in your discussions on iridology you talk about the danger of high sulfur in the body. Where does this "bad" sulfur come from? Must we stop visiting the hot springs where sulfur is present? 28:43 – Amy - Good Day Dr. Morse! My name is Amy and I recently discovered your YouTube videos. I was born with one right kidney that has 2 renal arteries and 1 renal vein, 1 right ovary. My left side apparently wanted to be kaput! I also have Celiac disease, childhood asthma, dairy intolerance and have been on the birth control pill off and on since I was 18 (I'm 31 and have one son who is 8). I do have symptoms of histamine intolerance (hives after eating certain foods which has gotten better after really reducing sugar and cutting out dairy), adrenal fatigue and have a couple lymph nodes I can palpate (near armpit on both sides, also have a left breast fibroadenoma and skinny at 115 lbs at 5'5"). Being born with one kidney, could I also have one adrenal gland that can be helping exacerbate symptoms of adrenal fatigue and the like? I'd love to do the all fruit diet but with being skinny, I don't want to lose weight! Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! 43:20 – Eric - What can I do for my toe nail fungus issue I have been fighting for about 12 years now? I am 54 years old 5.10, 160lb active guy I think I got it from a gym I used to be a member of in the sauna, waling around barefoot like an idiot. I do watch what I eat but I think I need more then that to at least kill it first. 50:24 – Jodi – I was blessed to get a referral from an internet tech who came to my apartment, telling me about you. I have been diagnosed with early macular degeneration…this is not the age-related kind; it is myopic. I am extremely nearsighted, and I am also dealing with double-vision. 59:34 – Lisa - I have had severe cramping in my feet and my toes have been stuck together like glue, and my arch pulls in on itself and down. I try to stretch out, or massage my feet, but it doesn’t work, as a few minutes go by, and they are right back…stuck and cramping so bad that I am having a hard time walking or standing. It would be okay if I was able to put something on them, and it would go away, but there are times when I am not around the items I need, and right now do not have available, so I do not know what to do. Do you have any suggestions? I am just two weeks into my quest for a healthier living and lifestyle. Taking it slowly but need to get started on some of the herbal supplements because of my health issues.

My Pill Regimen 9 months Post Op!
So decided to go through my pills for ya,I did forget the Vitamin D but since I get that through my doctor and am waiting for my refill to come in the mail it slipped my mind. I take 1 Vitamin D pill once a week. and the refills are $5 a month. Most of my pills I get on Amazon and on eBay. I am a prime member so I get pretty fast shipping. My goal is to buy once a year from now on instead of every 2-3 months. Vitamins can get expensive so try to always shop around and get the best deal!

Estrogen patch Rx of depression & Mini-Gastric Bypass
Efficacy of estradiol topical patch in the treatment of symptoms of depression following mini-gastric bypass. Rutledge R, Dorghazi P, Peralgie C. The Centers for Excellence in Laparoscopic Obesity Surgery, Henderson, NV, USA. DrR@clos.net BACKGROUND: Obesity is associated with elevated levels of estrogen. Gastric bypass causes rapid weight loss and decreased levels of estrogen. Patients after gastric bypass can suffer from anxiety and depression out of proportion to the surgical outcome. This study reports the efficacy of a short-term empiric trial of topical estradiol for the treatment of mild to moderate depression and anxiety following mini-gastric bypass (MGB) in women. METHODS: Postoperative MGB women were surveyed for the presence of depressive symptoms before and after MGB. The results of an empiric trial of transdermal patches of estradiol-17beta were assessed. Outcome measures were the self-reported efficacy of the patch. RESULTS: 711 women who had undergone MGB and had functioning e-mail addresses made up the study. 62% of patients reported depression prior to surgery. 156 patients (22%) reported depression after the operation. Patients treated with estradiol sustained antidepressant benefit. Depression is common in obese patients and remains a problem in a subset following the MGB operation. Transdermal estradiol replacement appears to be an effective treatment of symptoms of depression in women following MGB.

She gets her face swollen, not extreme but visible, numbness. Sometimes half the face or both sides, around her lips and cheeks… 46:39 – Theresia – Cravings for Wild dried Dulse once starting a packet. Is it salt that I crave or the Dulse?... 51:18- Tristan – What does a healthily lymph-node feel like to the touch? Is it effective to rub castor oil into the skin without a pack and heat pad. Does cayenne pepper form mucus in the body or expectorate mucus from the body. Can you get regenerative detox on a mono-apple diet? What happens if you swallow sinus mucus into the GI tract? 1:04:33 – Ingrid – What are your thoughts on eating according to your blood type? How did this come about it does not make sense to me. 01:05:17 – Jonez – Have you had experience where after someone takes adrenal glandular they get a craving for salt? 1:13:56 - Let me start off by saying thank you so much for the time you put in to these videos and healing in general, your loving energy has really helped me. My journey started about 6 months ago at the age of 21 when I started to become bothered by my acne that was just flaring up for the first time in my life. I thought it was related to my poor digestion and because I had fungal signs I went on a candida diet. I did high protein low carb with digestive enzymes for about 3 months. I had seen 2 naturopaths locally who both endorsed this, and accepted quite a bit of money from me for my troubles. I came across your videos among others and dived right in. 1:25:09 – Loana - I am 27 and i have uterine fibroids ( 1, 2 cm) , PCOS, hirsutism . PCOS i have since i was 17-18( i have regular periods but with dysmenorrhea), i have taken some homeopathic remedy and my body reacted good;ovarian cycsts dissapeared( i have never taken medication or birth control pills). Last year i had a miscarriage ( the pregnancy stop evoluting around 7-8 weeks) , and also they find me fibroids. It was a hard period but i keep my faith high and i always smile. Regarding the PCOS; i have the LH/FSH wrong and the testosterone a little higer. I didn't like the way my doctor has approached my situation ( don't do anything, food can't improve at all; leave those fibroids like they are, try to make a baby, and if they will grow too much we will see..) and then i said stop; this not what i want and what i feel… 1:37:49 – Lily - This is my story when my fiancee came here and visit me in Philippines , we do sex. Last month of august  2016 and he is the one and only man in my life. My problem is last October 25, 2016 ,I was in the hospital to donate blood and it was not my first time to do that on donating blood bcoz I donate blood in red cross, also to my friend's mom for her dialysis. So this last day  october 25 the doctor after the laboratory test of my blood she was talk to me privately and she said that my blood contaminated with a gonorrhea but little percent only. An the doctor ask me some question if I have a boyfriend and I said yes. An she ask me if me and my boyfriend have body contact my answer is yes… 1:43:32 - I'm only 24 and my breasts are semi-big and saggy. I grew up with a S.A.D diet and drank lots of milk before and around the time of puberty and I was developing faster than my friends, including a friend who was two years older than me. I have a strong feeling all that milk did it and I was quite active then. This is one of my main issues I want to get rid of. 1:52:21 – Agea - Hello Dr Morse, is it healthy or not to float hours per week in a float tank with saturated solution of Epsom salt, if not what other salt or salt mix can i use to float in? Are all forms of sulfur really toxic? I must use a salt for buoyancy, because I'm naked in the tank and nothing can touch my body, so I don't get any sensory input. Please share this question if you want.

How Weight Loss Surgery Can Help Women with PCOS
http://www.bariatricmexicosurgery.com 1 (800) 316-8234 Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is not as well known as diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and other conditions exacerbated by excessive weight. Yet for women affected by this syndrome, its consequences are just as serious as it causes infertility, and if left untreated can also, over time, lead to diabetes and heart disease. Successful weight loss surgery in Mexico encompasses a number of health benefits that are byproducts of the weight loss process. Significant weight loss is known to lower high blood pressure and even eliminate the need for diabetes medicines, but it also improves infertility issues in obese women afflicted with PCOS. Gaining a tremendous amount of weight, particularly around the waist is a characteristic of PCOS. Women with PCOS have a difficult time losing that extra weight. Extra hair or its opposite, extreme thinning of hair, are other signs. Additional symptoms include acne or dark patches of skin, pelvic pain and sometimes depression. Researchers don’t know exactly why some women acquire PCOS, but high levels of insulin seek to be at the root of the illness. Being overweight also increases one’s chances of developing it. Genes also play a role, so if your mother or sister has PCOS, you are also more likely to develop it. Most women are diagnosed in their 20s or 30s, but even girls as young as 11 have been found to have it. Women afflicted with PCOS grow numerous small cysts on their ovaries. These cysts do not harm the ovaries but lead to hormone imbalances, as he body produces more of the male sex hormone androgen. This tendency can cause women to stop ovulating, have irregular periods, often less than nine per year, resulting in difficulty getting pregnant. In addition to the aforementioned symptoms, PCOS suffers tend to develop insulin resistance, causing blood sugar levels to go up and increase risk of developing diabetes. Symptoms tend to be mild at first but increase as time progresses. PCOS affects as many as 5 million women in the United States. To be diagnosed with the syndrome, women must have two of three symptoms, including a high level of androgen, infrequent and irregular periods and more than 12 cysts. Common treatments include birth control pills to regulate periods or other female hormones. The diabetes drug Metformin and Aldactone, a diuretic, are also used to treat PCOS. More than 60% of women with PCOS are classified as obese. Weight loss is touted as one of the best natural methods for improving fertility in PCOS patients especially when it occurs in conjunction with lifestyle changes such as a healthy diet and frequent exercise. A study published in 2015 the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism indicated that obese and overweight women who experienced significant weight loss had higher rates of conception whether or not they had PCOS.

IUD Safety & Effectiveness | Birth Control
Watch more How to Pick a Birth Control Method videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/510826-IUD-Safety-and-Effectiveness-Birth-Control Learn how safe and effective an IUD is in this Howcast video about birth control. The IUD is a highly effective and safe form of birth control. One of the best things that we've done as OB/GYNs is to make this unit available to all patients, whether or not they've had babies or not. So, if you're considering a form of birth control and you're not doing well with taking pills, or even if you did take the pill regularly and you want to change your form of birth control, this is an excellent option for you. There are two types of IUDs -- one that lasts for 5 years and one that lasts for 10 years, and both are well over 99% effective. It is a very safe form of birth control. There is a very short window within which you are at increased risk for infection. That's the first 21 days after the IUD has been placed. After it's been placed, you are at no increased risk of infection over that of your peers who are not using the IUD. I highly recommend this form of birth control if you are not doing well with the pills or the NuvaRing or the patch. If you're considering this form of birth control at the beginning of your contraceptive life, I think that you should talk to your doctor or your nurse practitioner if you're thinking about it and you're not considering having children within the next two to three years.

The Importance of B12 | Post Surgery Nutrition | Blossom Bariatrics | Las Vegas
The Importance of B12 | Post Surgery Nutrition | Blossom Bariatrics | Las Vegas Hi guys, Michelle Phelan here, nutritionist at Blossom Bariatrics and today I'm going to share with you some amazing tips and some awesome finds at the grocery store. Today I'd really like to talk a little bit about vitamin B12, the signs of B12 deficiency, and excellent sources of B12. Signs of B12 deficiency are fatigue, constipation, depression, low sperm count, and low libido, weakness, anemia, and asthma. So all of these can mimic other things going on in your body, so it's important to get your levels tested. So something to also keep in mind post surgery is that the nature of perhaps a sleeve surgery, or gastric bypass is that there's a protein in your stomach, produced in your stomach by the cells in your stomach called intrinsic factor and intrinsic factor, after surgery, particularly with sleeve patients, is available much less so. So you have less intrinsic factor available and this is the little guy who likes to hang on to that B12 whether from supplements or food and help that B12 travel safely through the different PH's in your digestive system where it can be disrobed and methylated, or become active at the bottom of your small intestine. So it's important again to make sure you have enough digestive juices, hydrochloric acid, and intrinsic factor in your stomach. Now if this is not the case, which happens in many patients post surgery with the sleeve procedure, it's important to take a high quality B12 supplement. Now many of you know that I really promote methylcobalamin B12 post surgery because it's methylated. It's already active, it's ready to go. Whether you have enough intrinsic factor or not. So play it safe. Make sure that you're B complex has the methylcobalamin B12 version of B12 in it. It's super important. Don't get anything else if you're a post-surgery bariatric patient. Something else I'd like to add is that there's some things that can deplete your body of B12 much more quickly. So if you are on things like Metformin, diabetes medication, birth control, depression medication, or Nexium, like acid reflux medication, these things can inhibit the absorption of B12 as well. In fact, although Nexium and these antacids help short term with the pain of acid reflux and acid indigestion long term, they inhibit your stomach's ability to create enough hydrochloric acid to properly break down food and it also inhibits your stomach's ability to make intrinsic factors. So you could be at a huge disadvantage to getting B12 if you're taking these medications. So it's always beneficial to supplement with methylcobalamin B12. Make sure that the B12 is in addition to your B complex. B12 is one of the eight B vitamins. They all work together best as a family. Okay, top B12 containing foods, so beef liver, I know right? But that is the top way to get B12 naturally. Sardines, I know, another ugh right? But again, the second best way to get B12 from food. Grass-fed organic beef, so there's another option as well. Tuna has B12 in it, cottage cheese, lamb, salmon, all of these things have high amounts of B12. But also keep in mind that although these foods are on the very much eat these foods list, as a post-surgery bariatric patient, if you like them, as a patient post surgery you're not able to eat a lot of them, maybe like one or two ounces. So you still need to supplement. If you really like beef liver, I still recommend you supplement with methylcobalamin B12. Thanks for watching.
