Workout Supplement and Vitamins (Jeff Cavaliere’s Exact Plan)

Get the same exact supplements I take here… http://athleanx.com/x/exact-supplements-i-use When it comes to workout supplements and vitamins, we all know there are thousands of choices. In this video, I cover the exact choices I make when it comes to the supplements I use to help me build muscle and stay lean year round. From the vitamins and minerals I take to the workout protein powders and formulas, everything I take in a day is covered and explained. For me, my morning starts with my essential fatty acids. I take both an omega-6 fatty acid in the form of evening primrose oil, as well as a high grade pharmaceutical omega-3 fish oil. The primrose is something I take because I tend to eat a very clean diet almost devoid of the highly processed foods that commonly are in abundance in the average diet. That combined with the fact that I carry a low body fat percentage year round, tends to make my essential omega-6’s that much more essential. I also have Reynaud’s, which is a form of impaired circulation to the hands and feet, that primrose oil has been shown to be helpful in treating. The omega-3’s are taken once in the morning, and again at lunch and at dinner. The grade of the oils is of prime importance when choosing an omega-3. Like prescription grade lovaza, Dr. C’s Omega-3’s are an incredibly potent form of essential fatty acids that have been shown to not only promote overall health and well being but also speed up muscle recovery by helping you recover from muscle inflammation. There is an entire blog devoted to this topic that you can read over at http://athleanx.com/articles/supplements-articles/build-muscle-with-omega-3s Next, I turn my attention to my antioxidants. I take 1500mg of vitamin C, 1000 iu of vitamin E, CoQ10 and green tea extract to meet these needs here. As I point out in the video, I do get adequate levels of both C and E in y diet, however I still take these as an insurance policy and investment in my own health. Just be sure that you don’t take too much vitamin E as it is a fat soluble vitamin that can be taken in excess and not easily removed from the body. Green tea extract provides additional blood sugar stabilizing effects via it’s impact on insulin sensitivity and therefore finds it’s way into my daily supplement regime every morning. Each of the above vitamins are taken once with breakfast as described in the video. Next I take the ultimate insurance policy, a multivitamin. I believe again that while we tend to get the majority of our major vitamins from food, we do not necessarily address all of our micronutrient needs (especially if we tend to follow somewhat restrictive eating plans or styles) so I feel more comfortable taking a multi as a backup. One of the most important areas of late for me has been joint recovery supplementation. Having dealt with a bad right shoulder from a torn labrum, as well as two bad knees, I not only felt the need to take but actually set out and developed what I feel is the absolute most comprehensive joint recovery formula available. ATHLEAN-Rx MECHAN-X is a must take supplement for anyone training in pain or discomfort. You won’t believe how much you can compromise your gains in the gym by trying to train around pain. If you address the pain at it’s source, which is what MECHAN-X does, you can get back to seeing uncompromised gains in both strength and muscle. Finally, all of my workout supplementation needs are addressed in my ATHLEAN-Rx 1,2,3 bundle. From pre workout to post workout to nighttime muscle repair, everything I need is in those 3 bottles. Unlike vitamins, I don’t believe that all of your workout ergogenic needs can be met through food, at least without any consistency needed to see steady results. Each of my supplements contains everything your body needs exactly when it needs it surrounding your workout. These are all available at http:/athleanx.com For more videos on workout supplements and workout nutrition be sure to subscribe to our channel here on youtube at http://youtube.com/user/jdcav24

Do We Need Supplements (Vitamins & Minerals) If We Are Healthy?

Dr. Berg's Supplements: https://shop.drberg.com What Recipes Are You Interested in: https://www.drberg.com/video-idea-sur... Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY Dr. Berg talks about if you need supplements if you are healthy. The first question is what defined health, right? Health is more than being thin, it's tons of energy, low stress, great digestion, great mood, and cognition. Your food that is grown on fertile soils are a key factor in future health. You also have stress in the past, that can also deplete you of nutrition. If you're adapting to ketosis (fat), you're require more nutrients (B-vitamins and minerals). Then you have the environment filled with poisons and chemicals that deplete you and cause poor health. To counter this, you need phytonutrients that can cause the liver to break down these chemicals. Lastly, you have the required nutrients called RDAs - because the soils or so weak, it requires so much more nutrients to reach the min. requirements. Do Coffee and Caffeine Inhibit Iron Absorption?

01:48
Can Coffee and Caffeine Inhibit Iron Absorption? Several studies have found that coffee and other caffeinated drinks can reduce iron absorption. One study found that drinking a cup of coffee with a hamburger meal reduced iron absorption by 39%. However, caffeine alone does not seem to be the main substance interfering with iron absorption. In fact, one study found that caffeine itself only binds to about 6% of the iron from a meal. Furthermore, regular coffee consumption may also have an effect on iron storage levels. However, it’s important to remember that the effects of coffee and caffeine on iron absorption seem to depend on when you drink your coffee. For example, drinking coffee one hour before a meal had no effect on iron absorption. Should You Reduce Your Coffee and Caffeine Intake? Coffee and caffeine are not associated with iron deficiency in healthy people with no risk of iron deficiency. Many people get enough iron from the food they eat. Regularly getting an adequate amount of vitamin C and heme iron from meat, poultry and seafood can help overcome iron inhibition from drinking coffee and tea. However, this may not be the case when polyphenols are consumed at very high levels. Conclusion. Caffeinated drinks like coffee and tea have been shown to inhibit iron absorption. However, this is more likely due to their polyphenol contents, not caffeine itself. Caffeinated foods and drinks are not associated with iron deficiency in healthy people, as iron absorption is affected by many other dietary factors. Thanks for watching,See you next time.

☕ The Major Health Problem With Energy Drinks and Caffeine

08:17
An “all-in-one” formula for instantly increasing your energy levels and improving memory naturally: 🤜 http://drsam.co/yt/BoostYourEnergy ======================================= ☕ The Major Health Problem With Energy Drinks and Caffeine ======================================= Unfortunately, Energy Drinks Are HORRIBLE For Your Health Do they taste good? Yes… but that’s because they either have lots of sugar (over 60 grams and 250 calories worth). Or the sugar-free ones are loaded with toxic artificial sweeteners. Are they healthy for you? Nope! Just because they contain a few vitamins, doesn’t mean they are healthy. Secondly, they make your body very acidic which is known to cause cancer and accelerate aging.9 Energy drinks are linked to many health problems, but these are the big ones in my opinion: Heart problems — cardiac arrest1, high blood pressure2, decreased arterial health1 and more. Physical problems — headaches, migraines, insomnia5, arthritis3, addictive, type 2 diabetes6, erectile dysfunction and poor blood flow11. Emotional problems — anxiety, panic attacks, nervousness, and depression.7 Do they give you energy? Yes they do, but that’s because of the massive dose of CAFFEINE they contain! That’s 3-4 cups of strong coffee. Trust me, take out the caffeine and there is no “energy” in these drinks. As you can see, there are lots of problems with energy drinks, but … The WORST Problem Of All The WORST problem with energy drinks is the caffeine consumption and the negative change in your hormones due to the RISE in your “stress hormone” called, cortisol! The elevation in this stress hormone is the cause of many of the above mentioned negative effects. Why We Like Caffeine So Much So, why do you or anyone even take caffeine products?… You can have “decaf” coffee, tea or energy drinks. It tastes the same. At the end of the day, it’s simply because you like how the caffeine makes you FEEL. After all, it IS a drug! We like the temporary extra energy levels — both physical and mental. Additionally, caffeine temporarily increases dopamine levels slightly. Dopamine is known as the “pleasure chemical”. So, another reason caffeine makes us “happy”. However, after continued use (usually 7-10 days): -your adrenal glands become overworked, -cortisol levels increase, -dopamine receptors become desensitized -and caffeine is NO LONGER making you “energized and happy”… Many times you have mid-day “caffeine crash”, which means MORE caffeine (coffee, energy drinks, etc.). Thus, why it’s addictive. And when you get off, the opposite happens — you’re super tired, anxious and depressed! How To Increase Your Energy Levels & Feel Good, WITHOUT Caffeine! The good news is that with the correct combination of natural ingredients, you’ll get MANY MORE BENEFITS. When increasing your energy levels – you want to focus on BOTH physical and mental energy. Increase ATP & Mitochondria A common complaint among people, especially older adults is the loss of physical and mental energy. You can naturally increase these by taking Rhodiola Extract, NADH, CoQ10, PQQ and Acetyl-L-Carnitine. Improve Dopamine This is a neurotransmitter that regulates your mood and cognition/memory. It’s known as the anti-aging “pleasure chemical”. It gives you a natural “high”. You can naturally increase dopamine by using wild green oat extract, velvet bean extracts and L-Theanine Decrease Stress Hormones As stated earlier, caffeine increases (NOT what you want) your stress hormones and depletes your adrenal glands, which leads to fatigue, weight gain and depression. You can naturally decrease stress hormones and improve your memory by taking Bacopa and Ashwagandha extract, Phosphyatidylserine and Tyrosine. Increase Acetylcholine & Oxygen Proper acetylcholine function is essential to muscle control, sleep, and cognition… and the prevention of dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.12 Additionally, increasing oxygen to your cells – both brain and muscle, will dramatically increase your energy levels and slow the aging process.13-16 To increase acetylcholine – you can take Alpha-GPC, Choline and Huperzine-A. And to improve oxygen to your cells, you should take Ginkgo Biloba and Vinpocetine. Total Body & Brain Energy Remember, your goal is to increase your energy levels to BOTH your body (muscles) and brain (neurotransmitters), while reducing the aging process at the same time. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Faster Fat Loss for a Slow Metabolism (A Lot More Keto Weight Loss)

04:53
Overview to Keto and IF: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnyFVWwzgJI Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 In this video, Dr. Berg talks about the tip for faster fat loss for a slow metabolism. This tip is recommended for people who have done keto (Ketogenic Diet) for a while and were plateaued, stuck, slow and doing OMAD or one meal a day. For those people who are trying to lose weight in the belly, and have been doing lots of past dieting and created a slow metabolism - you need to extend your fast longer and longer. The big mistake is to eat when you are hungry. If you are fasting and your body is burning fat with no hunger, why eat? Your body IS eating its own fat and when you eat you shut down this process. Things to do: 1. First, figure out if are you really in ketosis. – The fastest way to figure out if you are in the hardcore fat burning state, “No Hunger!!” 2. Don’t eat unless hungry Let your body dictate when to eat. Make sure to consume enough sea salt / electrolytes / B vitamins / green tea 3. You’re not starving – Fasting is the depletion of glycogen or sugar reserves and the burning of fat. Whereas, starvation is you deplete all your fat reserves and now you’re eating the organs in your muscle. Benefits of Fasting: • Stem cell enhancement • Growth hormone enhancement • Growing new brain cells • Lower Inflammations • Autophagy – the body’s ability to clean itself from old damage proteins, clean up the microbes and enhance the immune system. Hey guys! I have another powerful tip for you. This is faster fat loss for a slow metabolism. Let's say for example you're on keto, you're doing intermittent fasting, you even got to one meal a day and things are still slow. What do you do to speed things up? This video is not really meant for the new person starting keto. If you are that person watch the video down below. I wouldn't recommend doing this. This is mainly for the person who has done keto for a while, they're plateaued they're stuck and things are slow and they're at one meal a day and now what do I do. So the first thing you need to do is figure out, are you really in ketosis? and yes you can check the urine, the blood, to find out if you're showing ketones but this one other thing that i'm going to tell you is like the most important thing to know that you're really in hardcore fat burning and that is this, no hunger - your hunger has completely gone away so if you're craving things or you're hungry then chances are you're probably not in ketosis so you're maybe eating too many carbs or you're doing something wrong, you're having snack, your proteins are too much, it could be any number of things. So once the hunger goes away then we know you're burning fat, you're burning your own fat and you are living off those calories. That's a good thing. This next thing is very very important, you don't want to eat food unless you are hungry. Why would you want to eat if your body is actually eating already? You're actually living off your fat, you're releasing your fat cells, your body's running find you feel energetic, you feel good and then you eat. How to prevent osteoporosis & why an ADULT should not drink milk

05:10
Drinking milk by adult humans are more prone to osteoporosis because even though milk contains calcium Milk depletes calcium & increases fracture risks. A person without enough vitamin D leads to insufficient calcium absorption from the diet. Sufficient vitamin D can be created by our body from sunlight during mid-day time. For better bone development eating green Amaranth(Khutura Xaak) can prevent osteoporosis & boost bone strength. Too much exposure to artificial light also leads to osteoporosis. Top 3 Best Fish vs. Worst Fish to Eat: Thomas DeLauer

09:07
Learn the 3 Safest fish to eat! I'll teach you more at http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com We are going to go over the top 3 fish to eat and the fish that you may want to avoid. Fish can become contaminated in a number of ways - size, species, age and location determine contamination levels. Heavy Metals: Mercury and Lead- Mercury is known to cause many health problems and is especially dangerous for children and women who are or may become pregnant. It can take 12-18 months for mercury to pass through the body, so women who may become pregnant should also work hard to avoid mercury. The nervous system and kidneys are the main targets of mercury. Children exposed to mercury may cause mental development problems, including coordination and learning handicaps. Anyone can experience mercury health effects, including: fatigue, dizziness, numbness or tingling, memory and coordination problems, irritability. If enough mercury is consumed, permanent brain and kidney damage can occur. Large, older, or predatory fish have more time and eat more contaminated foods, allowing heavy metals to bioaccumulate. Industrial Chemicals- PCBs, dioxins, DDT and other chemicals can leach from factories or garbage into our waters. These chemicals are related to cancer risk. Bottom dwelling fish are the most susceptible to these toxins, including the American eel, sea trout and wild striped bass. Radiation- The Fukushima nuclear disaster is one of the most widely discussed radiation events that has an impact on what we eat. Radiation is known to cause cancer, so avoiding foods high in radioactive compounds is important. Researching your fish choices online is the best way to avoid consuming fish that come from an area high in radiation. Choosing Fish for Your Family- The Environmental Defense Fund Seafood Selector is a great benefit when deciding what fish to avoid and what fish to load up on. Given the above concerns while also weighing in health and deliciousness, here is the list of the top three fish: (1) Pacific Sardines (US and Canada): -Low in mercury -Sustainably fished -High in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins B12, B2, B3, D, selenium, phosphorus, calcium, copper and more -They are inexpensive and easy to find canned. (2) Wild Alaskan Salmon: -Salmon is one of the most delicious fish, rich in healthy fats. -Low in mercury and sustainably fished -Contains bioactive peptides that may support for cartilage, insulin and inflammation. -High in vitamins B12, B3, D, selenium, omega-3 fatty acids, phosphorus, B6 and many others. (3) Muscles: -Low in mercury and one of the most sustainably fished seafood sources out there -High in selenium, omega-3s, B12, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and many others. Seafood to Avoid: Due to toxins and sustainability, it is best to stay away from these types of seafood. (1) Shark: -Anything this high up on the food chain is going to be a red flag when it comes to toxins.Predators consume other fish and their toxins. The higher up on the food chain, the higher the levels of mercury and toxins in the fish. Adding to the health dangers is the unsustainable fishing practices. Sharks have long gestation periods, taking a long time to mature and have offspring. This makes overfishing or depleting their numbers easy to do. Most shark species are experiencing a large decline due to fishing, being caught as bycatch and for fins in Asia. (2) Tuna: A favorite among many sushi goers is unfortunately very high in mercury and horrible for sustainability. Some tuna is much better for you and the environment than others. If you do consume tuna, US yellowfin is the best option. Canned albacore tuna is high in mercury and should be avoided. Bluefin and imported albacore are the worst tuna options for health and sustainability - do your best to avoid these. Canned light tuna is better for you than canned white tuna when it comes to mercury, with about ⅓ the mercury content of canned white tuna. (3) Farmed Tilapia: Farmed tilapia in the US is often imported from China and Taiwan where the conditions and chemicals used are very troublesome. (4) Swordfish: All swordfish, being large hunters, are high in mercury. They are also fished very unsustainably, with large bycatch of sea turtles, sharks and seabirds. References 1. Natures Nectar Ultra Premium Natural Organic Matcha Green Tea

00:47
The Style Chicks have long enjoyed a good cup of green tea: a tasty warm treat that does wonders for the skin, metabolism, and energy. Green Tea aids in hair growth. Green Tea contains Vitamin B, and its' anti-inflammatory properties are significant. To get skin glowing the day before an event, we started drinking a minimum of 2-3 cups of green tea per day as was recommended in Dr. Nicholas Perricone's 3-day "Anti-inflammatory Diet." When you drink 3 cups of green tea in a day, your skin is luminous, dewy and glowing. But sometimes it is tough to consume 3 cups of green tea a day when I really feel like I just want a Diet Coke or double espresso with whip to get over my afternoon energy slump. An easy fix for this problem is to drink Matcha. Matcha tea has about half the caffeine of an espresso shot. AND it makes you extra pretty. WHAT IS MATCHA & WHY SHOULD I DRINK IT? Matcha is ground tea leaves which make for an intensely concentrated tea, something of a super tea, which has more than 100 times as much Polyphenols as regular green tea. One cup of matcha tea per day is enough for a jitter-free time released energy boost, glowing skin, weight management, increased metabolism and maximum health benefits. Matcha has highly concentrated green tea benefits, but you can get too much of a good thing. Drinking too much of any green, white or black tea can deplete iron in the blood, and all natural tea leaves, like anything else grown in soil, can have minuscule traces of lead. After one cup of matcha per day, you have gained all the Polyphenols, Amino Acids, and metabolism boost that you need. A cup of Matcha in the afternoon can be an easy alternative to drinking multiple cups of green tea or a coffee substitute when you need some energy. Personally, I can use as much caffeine as I can get, but I do enjoy the energy boost from a good cup of Matcha because there is no "crash" from it like I get from some other caffeinated drinks. A RECOMMENDED MATCHA TEA FOR DRINKING Nature's Nectar Ultra Premium Natural Matcha Green Tea is a ceremonial grade Matcha that is delicate and sweet without tasting artificially sweet. If you already drink green tea, you will notice it has a superior flavor of not tasting 'vegetable-y' or bitter, just a warm and delicate flavoring. The intensity can be richer depending on the amount of powder and water used, but this tin is a 30 day supply, 1 gram a day. Some brands are an entire teaspoon of Matcha per cup; that is too much powder for a fine grade Matcha such as this one. There is no need to over-do it with this Matcha as it has 137 times more Polyphenols than regular green tea, so you don't need more any powder than suggested to optimize your green tea benefits. Nature's Nectar Matcha is also organic and gluten free. Something else I noticed about Nature's Nectar Matcha is it is a much brighter green than the other Matcha's I have. When I select a Matcha, I look for the most vivid green I can get not just because it makes for a prettier cup of Matcha but the colorful green means it is also packed with Amino Acids. While this Matcha can be added to smoothies and drinks, but since it is such a high-grade matcha, I only drink it straight as a tea and use my less tasty Matchas for including in Matcha-based beverages. Matcha TIPS and HACKS: Once opened, store matcha in the refrigerator to maintain its fresh taste and vibrant green color. Is your Matcha tea too bitter? Bring water to only a near boil, or wait for one to two minutes after boiling before pouring the water into your cup. Water at 194 degrees Fahrenheit (90 Celsius) and below will produce sweeter Matcha tea than when mixed with boiling water. Need an extra brain power boost? The lower the temperature of the hot water, the more Theanine that brews. Theanine is the part of green tea that causes brain focusing and mental alertness. Can you tolerate a little extra bitterness for the sake of beauty? Then brew up a nice extra hot cup. Matcha makes for a great pre-workout caffeine boost that will give you sustained energy without the mid-workout crash. Treat Muscle Cramps With Vitamins And Minerals With Home Remedies

04:55
Treat Muscle Cramps With Vitamins And Minerals With Home Remedies https://youtu.be/FRKHwp9Y2gQ Have you experienced sudden, involuntary contractions of muscles that are almost too painful to bear? Those painful contractions, commonly called muscle cramps, are no joking matter. One can have muscle cramps in different muscle groups, including parts of the leg like the back of the lower leg, the front or back of the thigh, the abdominal wall, the arms, the hands, and even the neck.An intensely painful cramp can happen for several reasons. Some common causes include overuse of the muscles, muscle injuries, dehydration, poor blood circulation and certain medical conditions, such as spinal nerve compression, alcoholism, pregnancy, kidney failure, and hypothyroidism. You can see your doctor and get tested for the levels of various minerals and vitamins in your body. Once any deficiency is taken care of, the problem of muscle cramps will likely resolve on its own. Here is how you can treat muscle cramps with vitamins and minerals. 1. Muscle Cramps and Magnesium. A low magnesium level in the body can contribute to regular muscle spasms and cramps. Magnesium is important for normal muscle and nerve functioning. It also stimulates calcium reuptake, which is important for maintaining strong muscles and preventing cramps. Along with that, magnesium increases the absorption of potassium, which also is important for proper muscle functioning. 2. Muscle Cramps and Potassium. A low potassium level in the body can be another possible cause of muscle cramps as well as muscle weakness and fatigue. Potassium is very important for your muscle health. It works with sodium to maintain your cells’ electrical charges, which in turn control muscle contractions and functioning. Plus, potassium aids the absorption of calcium and magnesium. Avoid a diet high in salt, as it can upset your body’s sodium-potassium balance and result in low potassium relative to sodium. To maintain the required potassium level, eat foods like bananas, avocados, strawberries, oranges, mangoes, kiwis, apricots, dates, carrots, sweet potatoes, spinach, broccoli, red peppers, sardines, and salmon. 3. Muscle Cramps and Calcium. There is a strong connection between your muscle health and your calcium intake. Calcium is an electrolyte involved in nerve functioning and muscle contraction and relaxation. So, a calcium deficiency can prevent your muscles from relaxing after a contraction, thus leading to cramps. Moreover, an insufficient calcium level causes nerve cells to become extra sensitive, leading to sudden muscle cramping and pain. To ensure you are getting enough calcium, eat calcium-rich foods like skim or non-fat milk, dairy products, dark leafy green vegetables, fortified cereals, citrus fruits, blackstrap molasses, and soy products. 4. Muscle Cramps and Sodium. While a low-sodium diet is good for your overall health, it can be the reason behind frequent exercise-induced muscle cramps. Sodium is essential for muscle health. It works together with other electrolytes – potassium, magnesium, and calcium – to ensure proper nerve impulses and muscle functioning. When your sodium level drops due to dehydration or excessive sweating, it is very common to suffer from muscle cramps. If you do a lot of exercising in hot weather or if you sweat a lot, you need to make sure that you are getting some sodium in your diet. You may want to add some salt to your meals. 5. Muscle Cramps and Vitamin D. Vitamin D is important for bone as well as muscle health. If you have low blood levels of vitamin D, you’re more likely to experience muscle cramps. Vitamin D is required to properly absorb calcium. Plus, low vitamin D in the body causes excessive sweating, which can lead to depletion of important minerals like potassium and sodium. You can help your body make vitamin D by exposing your skin to early morning sunlight for 10 to 15 minutes. Also, some dietary sources of vitamin D include fortified milk, fish, cod liver oil, egg yolks, and fortified grain products. THANKS FOR WATCHING MY VIDEO. SUBSCRIBE MY CHANNEL FOR MORE VIDEOS. Vitamin B12 – What Causes B12 Deficiency & Good B12 Sources

07:04
What is vitamin B12, where do you get it and what depletes it? What are the best sources of vitamin B12? If you got a blood test and they told you your B12 was low, it doesn’t mean anything. Serum B12 levels do not reflect true B12 levels since most B12 in the body is stored in the liver and blood tests do not determine stored B12 levels.  B12 is stored in the body for years and years and the odds are that in that time, you will accumulate more B12. thehealthylife.com Vitamin B12 is basically bacteria poop. In the natural world, (the way we were designed to live), you would pull a carrot out of the ground, brush it off and eat it. There would be little bits of dirt and millions of microscopic organisms all over that carrot. B12! Do you actually think in the 5-7 years B12 stays in your body, you are not going to be exposed to some dirt and bacteria? Heck, even your own gut bacteria, (your probiotics) produce some B12. They say vegetarians and vegans need to supplement B12 because they don’t eat meat. That’s another joke. 90 percent of America is meat eaters and 60 percent of America is deficient in B12, … so how come half the meat eaters are low in B12? Well lets look at why meat eaters sometimes have more B12. It’s not rocket science. Meat is rotting flesh. There’s a lot of nasty bacteria in meat. The minute anything is killed- plant or animal, it starts to decay. Decaying meat requires more aggressive and dangerous bacteria than plants. If you lived in nature only eating plants, you’d be getting more than enough B12. There’s even some B12 in my green formula. Seaweed is a great source of B12. Those of you who get my Sea Moss, haha- what an experience when you open that bag huh? All dirty and smelly. What a nasty fishy smell. That’s what stuff is like when you take it fresh right out of the ocean. It’s FULL of B12. Even after washing and soaking it multiple times, there is still B12 stuck in the tiny pores. There’s B12 in nutritional yeast, even kale and farm produce that still has some dirt stuck in the cracks. Remember also, you have 5 pounds of beneficial bacteria in your gut which also produces some B12. You can feed them and make them stronger by eating more fiber- that's what they love to eat. Then there’s fermented and cultured foods- a GREAT source of B12. Every little bit adds up. And since it stays in your body for years, odds are you are getting enough B12. Now it’s possible that you may actually be low in B12. So the REAL question isn’t “where do I get B12”,…it should be “what’s robbing me of B12 and how can I stop it?” The answer to all of your health issues should not be “what do I take” but “what do I STOP doing that’s causing the problem in the first place”, otherwise you are simply trying to patch holes in a sinking ship. The first place to look is your stomach. B12 is acid dependent for absorption. Older people have B12 issues not because they don’t have enough B12 in their body, but because it can’t ABSORB properly because stomach acidity declines with age. Bread, bagels and other wheat products absorb stomach acid like a sponge. They also turn into simple sugars which feeds candida yeast and H Pylori which radically deplete stomach acid. Antacids, baking soda and alkaline water cancels out stomach acid. Most people have low stomach acid as a result from not knowing what and how to eat.  Almost everybody, even raw foodists are sugar addicts and they choose what to eat based on how it tastes, not what they really need, resulting in a body that doesn't work right. Ok, anyway, if you want B12 to absorb, you need strong stomach acid for for that you need to cut down on bread and sugar and start adding more bitter things to your diet. You can rebuild stomach acid by using more acids in your diet like apple cider vinegar, lemon etc, and also sea salt, B-complex vitamins and 50 mg zinc with meals, plus bitter greens like arugula, endives, watercress etc and also my liver formula.  Do NOT drink alkaline water! This speeds up the whole mess of weakening stomach acid, nutrient absorption, lower B12 etc. Another thing that lowers stomach acid is adrenal burnout, the biggest factors being stress and stimulants- coffee, energy drinks, sugar, stuff like that. You can strengthen your adrenals with adaptogenic herbs like licorice root, ashwagandha, schizandra berry, astragalus, jiaogulan, nettle leaf and alma berry. You can get your own or simply get my Adrenal kit where I put the herbs together for you. As B12 pills go, sublingual methylcobalamin is the kind you want, not cyanocobalamin. Sure you can pop a B12 pill. But listen to what I’m saying. Simply taking a pill is not going to necessarily make you any better if you don’t stop doing what’s causing the problem in the first place! Stop trying to hide symptoms and get rid of the cause. That’s the only real road to true health. Vegetarians do not need meat to get Vitamin B12 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27596424

Moringa Benefits Hormonal Balance, Digestion, Mood & More | Green Herbal Medicine ======================================= Thank you for watching. IF you Enjoy this video herbal medicine. please share, like, comment and subscribe. Have a nice day. Subscribe : https://goo.gl/b8KwrA ======================================= Never heard of moringa before? Although this plant was initially discovered for its beneficial properties thousands of years ago, only recently has moringa (sometimes called the Ben oil tree) become known as one of the most impressive herbal supplements to hit the holistic health market. In fact, in 2008 the National Institute of Health called moringa (moringa oleifera) the “plant of the year,” acknowledging that “perhaps like no other single species, this plant has the potential to help reverse multiple major environmental problems and provide for many unmet human needs.” (1) Clearly, moringa benefits are highly touted and deservedly so. To date, over 1,300 studies, articles and reports have focused on moringa benefits and this plant’s healing abilities that are important in parts of the world that are especially susceptible to disease outbreak and nutritional deficiencies. Research shows that just about every part of the moringa plant can be utilized in some way, whether it’s to make a potent antioxidant tea or produce an oily substance that lubricates and nourishes the skin. Throughout the world, moringa is used for treating such widespread conditions as: (2) inflammation-related diseases cancer diabetes anemia arthritis and other joint pain, such as rheumatism allergies and asthma constipation, stomach pains and and diarrhea epilepsy stomach and intestinal ulcers or spasms chronic headaches heart problems, including high blood pressure kidney stones fluid retention thyroid disorders low sex drive bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic infections Moringa is an excellent source of protein, vitamin A, potassium, calcium and vitamin C. Just how strong is moringa? According to Kuli Kuli, an organization that harvests moringa plants in Africa and makes them accessible to customers in the the U.S. and other western nations, gram for gram, moringa contains: two times the amount of protein of yogurt four times the amount of vitamin A as carrots three times the amount of potassium as bananas four times the amount of calcium as cows’ milk seven times the amount of vitamin C as oranges History and Uses of Moringa There are actually believed to be at least a dozen different varieties of the the moringa tree, but one (moringa oleifera) is by far the most utilized. This species of the moringa tree — a fast-growing, tall, leafy plant that produces flowers or pods — has been used by health authorities around the world to help combat symptoms of malnutrition for several decades now. And prior to moringa benefits being proven in scientific studies, it was used extensively in traditional medicine practices like Ayurveda medicine for over 4,000 years! A noteworthy characteristic of the moringa tree is that it’s capable of growing in depleted or dry soils where many other types of beneficial plants or trees cannot survive. This is precisely why certain undernourished populations living in third-world countries, such as Somalia or India, have benefited from moringa during times of famine. Aside from providing important nutrients, moringa is used to help restore fertile soil, in forest restoration efforts, to filter water, produce an oil that benefits the skin, and also in the manufacturing of certain medications or supplements. The plant can be grown yea- round and as it progresses through its life cycle it actually helps replenish diminished minerals and other substances. Even as it decomposes, the moringa tree helps provide a way for populations to better grow other sources of food in difficult landscapes with barren soil. How to Use Moringa As you can probably tell by now, moringa can be used in many different ways in order to utilize all the available moringa benefits. Because of the long transport time needed to ship moringa from parts of Africa or Asia where it’s grown, in the U.S. it’s usually sold in powder or capsule form, which prolongs its shelf life. An interesting characteristic of moringa? It’s said to taste like a mix between horseradish and asparagus. (14) It might not have the most appealing flavor, but it’s a supplement with one of the the richest supplies of vital nutrients in the world, which makes the off-putting taste worth it. There’s no recommended or required dosage of moringa at this time since it’s only an herbal supplement and not an essential nutrient. That being said, there’s some evidence that the optimum dose for humans has been calculated to be 29 milligrams per kilogram of body weight.

Forever Therm also provides natural caffeine-related alkaloids from Guarana seed extract to help support energy levels during your workouts and busy day. Studies show that Green Tea is synergistic with natural caffeine to support thermogenesis. Green Coffee bean extract provides unique compounds – chlorogenic acids – not found in high levels in roasted coffee beans. Such effects can help to control cravings as well as dips in energy levels. The perfect partners for this trio of metabolic-support botanicals are Raspberry Ketones, and a full complement of B vitamins with Vitamin C. Research indicates that Raspberry Ketones may help to support the metabolism of fat, which can be used by the body for energy production. Since these vitamins are readily depleted during times of physical stress – such as during exercise – replenishment is important and can play a role in metabolic support. Of course, the foundation for any successful weight management program is maintaining a healthy diet and obtaining adequate exercise. Healthy Food Supplements

https://tipstoyourhealth.com Should you replace food with supplements? Food First, Then Supplements. Vitamins and other dietary supplements are not intended to be a food substitute. They cannot replace all of the nutrients and benefits of whole foods. https://tipstoyourhealth.com Do any diet supplements really work? You Don't Need Milk for Strong Bones: How to Strengthen Bones without Calcium

The simple fact of the matter is that bone density plays a big role in everything that we are working towards, whether it's fitness or long-term health. The lame thing is, most of the industry and most of the mainstream is leading us totally astray. They're telling us that calcium is the most important thing, when in reality, when it comes down to bone health, when it comes down to making sure your tendons and your joints and everything are really functioning at their best, there are a lot of other things that are much more critical to pay attention to. So in this video, I'm going to address the truth behind bone density and the truth behind the minerals that you truly need. Let's start with Vitamin D, because it's one that a lot of people know about. It's one of the big right now, everyone's talking about it. Simple fact of the matter is, getting your Vitamin D from sunlight is always going to be the best bet. You can take a supplemental Vitamin D, but here's the thing. Some people have their opinions, and there's some science that's starting to show that taking Vitamin D3 could deplete your Retinol levels. Now I'm not saying don't take a Vitamin D supplement, but what I am saying is making sure that you're modulating it. See, what Vitamin D does, is it helps corral the calcium and put it into the right places. That's why when you look on a carton of milk a lot of times it will say, "Calcium plus Vitamin D", because they do sort of work kind of harmoniously. But what we have to remember is that we don't want to over do it, if anything. Getting it from sunlight, always going to be the best. However, there was one study that was published in 2005 in the Journal of the American Medical Association, that found that just taking 700 to 800 IUs of Vitamin D daily did dramatically decrease the risk of hip fractures in post menopausal women. Now, that's not the end-all-be-all, doesn't mean everything, but it is just some science to explain to you. But now, let's talk about calcium for a second. Okay, calcium, we're led to believe is the end-all-be-all. We are likely not deficient in calcium. Between dairy, between almonds, between salmon, between leafy greens, it is highly unlikely that you have a deficiency in calcium. In fact, if you were to actually get your blood work done, you'd probably find you're not that deficient in calcium. We're quite frankly a little bit brainwashed to believe that we inherently have a deficiency in calcium, when in reality calcium and magnesium work together and magnesium plays a bigger role than we might think. You see, magnesium can actually help regulate the serum levels of calcium in the body. Magnesium actually regulates the calcium transport in the body. In fact, there is a positive correlation between magnesium levels and calcium that's going into the bones. Yeah, believe it or not, more magnesium equals more density in the bones. Now what we have to do is we have to understand the relationship between calcium and magnesium, because in a lot of ways, they're sort of the opposite. Whereas calcium excites a cell, magnesium encourages the relaxation of that cell. Then where calcium causes the blood to clot, magnesium generally helps keep blood flowing. The same kind of thing when it comes down to muscle contractions. Calcium is going to increase the muscle's ability to contract, whereas magnesium is going to allow that muscle to relax. It's not a good thing or a bad thing, we just have to remember that relationship, and the yin and the yang and the balance between calcium and magnesium. Here's the problem. Most people in the western world are consuming three and a half times as much calcium as they are magnesium. If you're looking at balance here, how does that equate? This study was published in 1993 in the Journal of Magnesium Research. What it did, is it took a look at 31 postmenopausal women. These women, they compared to a control group. The 31 women, they gave 125mg of magnesium six times per day for two years. Then, the other group they gave nothing. It was a control group. References 1. How Caffeine Works?

Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about caffeine. Caffeine is known to give you energy but how does this happen? It blocks adenosine, which is a chemical that inhibits your central nervous system. It’s the breaks of your nervous system. It increases dopamine which let you temporarily handle depression, inability to manage stress, focus…etc. Too much caffeine might increase artery stiffness down the road. It also depletes vitamin B1, calcium, and potassium. So too much is not okay, but you can do a small amount of it. Adrenal Fatigue, Caffeine and Adrenal Crashes

05:12
https://www.drlam.com/blog/signs-symptoms-caffeine-adrenal-crashes/14769/ Coffee, tea and energy drinks are so prevalant in society today, its acceptable to fill your body with these - I would say not so natural - compounds. Although they are natural in the sense they do exist in nature, they are never designed to be in our body that many people put them in. Now this is Dr Lam founder of Dr Lam.com. Now we talk about these compounds in relation to adrenal fatigue and how they can actually sustain the body when energy is low, and they can crash the body if there is too much. Now in adrenal fatigue the body is in the weakest point and the body wants to be nurtured. Its like a horse that is tired, the body is not feeling so well. You need rest, the body needs rest, and that is why the body slows down. Oftentimes we don't recognize that, we don't want to accept that and we keeps the body going and the way we do it is with coffee that has caffeine and tea that has 15% caffeine unless decaffeinated, and energy drinks can have up to two times the amount of caffeine as coffee. So if you do this over a period of time, several things will happen. The body will get stimulated. Number two, the heart gets stimulated. Number three, the adrenal glands get stimulated. If you stimulate the body enough its like stretching a rubber band; the more you stretch at first - rebounds if you stretch it - after enough times the rubber band will break. This is what happens then, people start with one energy drink, two and then three, they keep going until they can't stop; after awhile they become "wired." They cannot sleep at night but they cannot stop either because they are already having a dependency issue, and if you try and get out of those you can get headaches. That's not the worst though actually, after a while you are not only wired in the day but you are tired at night and cannot fall asleep. Then the body starts crashing. In other words the body will force the system to slow down to conserve energy. It doesn't matter what you do, you take more coffee, you think that the body will be more energized but actually the body will overrule the coffee and overrule the caffeine and forces you to lay down in an almost vegetative state. Many will become bedridden, couchbound, housebound; they cannot stand up. The moment they stand up they have so much caffeine in the system they can get rapid heartrate, they can get even more dehydrated, they can get more fatigue, they have dizziness. All these can be associated. The important lesson to learn is this: energy drinks should be taken only with great great care. If you need it from time to time and you are in a healthy state, chances are your body will do well. If you're in adrenal fatigue, you should avoid it, and if you're already on these items do not stop abruptly because your body may overreact; and also an important thing to remember is these items can give you a short term energy boost, but long term you'll have a lot of collateral damage, and part of that collateral damage is in the adrenal glands because most people don't see that; it's often taken for granted, but it is not as simple. Especially as you get older, some people now are very sensitive to caffeine and caffeinated products for a reason. The reason is often because the body is already overstimulated, so having caffeinated drinks and having a letdown in energy as what we call an adrenal crash is very significant and an important indicator as an adrenal fatigue symptom. How to Prevent Wrinkles

02:35
Watch more Skin Care 101 videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/143624-How-to-Prevent-Wrinkles Take steps today to keep your complexion wrinkle-free. Step 1: Prevent sun damage Protect your skin from sun damage every single day, year-round, by wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a minimum SPF 15—including on your lips. And wear sunglasses to prevent squinting. Tip Look for sunscreen that contains Mexoryl SX, an ingredient that is more effective at blocking UVA rays than other compounds. Step 2: Curb sweets Cut down on sugar, which some dermatologists believe attaches itself to collagen, causing stiffness that leads to wrinkles. Step 3: Eat anti-wrinkle foods Eat foods that have been linked to wrinkle prevention: beans, berries, almonds, apples, apricots, oily fish, spinach, sunflower seeds, sweet potatoes, cooked tomatoes, and watermelon. Step 4: Drink from the fountain of youth Try beverages that have been linked with smooth skin. Acai berry juice, goji berry juice, and green tea may inhibit wrinkles and help regenerate skin. Tip Aim for 4 oz. daily of goji or acai juice and one cup of green tea. Step 5: Apply the right face cream Apply a daily face cream containing the ingredient retinol, a form of vitamin A that boosts collagen, plus a few of the following antioxidants that prevent wrinkles by protecting skin against free-radical damage: vitamin E, coenzyme Q10, green tea, acai berry, caffeine, and selenium. Tip To make sure you’re getting the most anti-wrinkle bang for your buck, look for a cream that lists an antioxidant-containing nutrient as one of the first five ingredients. Step 6: Moisturize before bed Apply moisturizer just before you go to bed. Dehydrated skin creases more easily, leading to lines. To further minimize wrinkling, sleep on your back. Step 7: Don’t smoke Don’t smoke, and avoid second-hand smoke. Smoking depletes your skin of oxygen and essential nutrients like vitamin A. It also damages collagen and elastin fibers, which are key to maintaining elasticity. Step 8: Limit booze Limit alcohol intake. Alcohol dehydrates skin, leading to wrinkling. When you do drink, choose red wine, which offers antioxidants to offset alcohol’s negative impact. Did You Know? A study of 400 elderly men and women found that those who ate the most leafy green vegetables and beans had the fewest wrinkles.

Green Tea +C Overview

07:22
Green Tea + C is the natural alternative to effervescent drink mixes. Unlike the leading brand which is made up of mostly sugar, we've created a natural, sugar-free blend with Green Tea as the main ingredient. We start with Organic matcha and Japanese sencha, two antioxidant-packed varieties of Green Tea. By using the whole leaf, our powdered blend provides greater nutritional value compared to a traditional tea bag. And because Vitamin C has been shown to have as synergistic relationship with green tea (one boosts the antioxidants of the other), we've added Acerola Cherry for 300% of your daily Vitamin C. We've also included coconut water powder for replenishing electrolytes, which can become depleted during daily life and especially when fighting a cold. The wellness blend is rounded out with Ginger, Turmeric, and Orange Peel, traditionally used to support the immune system. Our ingredients are topped off with natural fruit extracts, simple minerals for natural effervescence, and stevia for a hint of sweetness. Green Tea + C is available in 3 flavor blends, all of which are Vegan, and GMO/Gluten/Sugar-free.

How to Overcome Adrenal Fatigue

06:58
For more info: https://draxe.com/3-steps-to-heal-adrenal-fatigue/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Nov-2014&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=adrenalfatigue In this video, I’m going to walk you through the steps to overcome adrenal fatigue. Most fatigue problems and adrenal insufficiency come from issues with the adrenal glands. About 80% of the population deals with this common problem. There are several warning signs that indicate you may have adrenal fatigue. If you struggle with fatigue, are stressed, anxious, have trouble with concentration, poor memory, thyroid issues, or gained mysterious weight, you may have adrenal fatigue. There are three steps you will want to take to get rid of adrenal fatigue for good. The first starts with your diet. Foods to get out of your diet are caffeine, sugar, and hydrogenated oils. Foods that are high in vitamin B12 and magnesium are going to support your adrenal glands and blood sugar levels, so you will want to add these foods into your diet. Foods like coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut, olives, olive oil, raw dairy products, grass-fed butter, organic meats, loads of vegetables, and seaweed are all crucial to your diet as well. Secondly, you will want to support your adrenals by taking supplements like adaptogenic herbs (such as ashwagandha, holy basil, and licorice root), which will help your body adapt and deal with stress. Additionally, a vitamin B complex, magnesium, vitamin D, selenium will support the healing of your adrenals. Lastly, you should focus on lowering your stress levels. Try getting 8-10 hours of sleep a night, reflect and address your stressors, add fun activities into your routine, and exercise. If you follow these three steps, you will be well on your way to naturally healing adrenal fatigue. Is Milk Good for Our Bones?

03:53
The galactose in milk may explain why milk consumption is associated with significantly higher risk of hip fractures, cancer, and premature death. Subscribe to Dr. Greger’s free nutrition newsletter at https://www.nutritionfacts.org/subscribe and get a free recipe from his new HOW NOT TO DIE COOKBOOK. (All proceeds Dr. Greger receives from the sales of his books, DVDs, and speaking engagements go to support the 501c3 nonprofit that runs NutritionFacts.org.) What can we do for our bones, then? Weight-bearing exercise such as jumping, weight-lifting, and walking with a weighted vest or backpack may help, along with getting enough calcium (Alkaline Diets, Animal Protein, & Calcium Loss http://nutritionfacts.org/video/alkaline-diets-animal-protein-and-calcium-loss/) and vitamin D (Resolving the Vitamin D-Bate http://nutritionfacts.org/video/resolving-the-vitamin-d-bate/). Eating beans (Phytates for the Prevention of Osteoporosis http://nutritionfacts.org/video/phytates-for-the-prevention-of-osteoporosis/) and avoiding phosphate additives (Phosphate Additives in Meat Purge and Cola http://nutritionfacts.org/video/phosphate-additives-in-meat-purge-and-cola/) may also help. Maybe the galactose angle can help explain the findings on prostate cancer (Prostate Cancer and Organic Milk vs. Almond Milk http://nutritionfacts.org/video/prostate-cancer-and-organic-milk-vs-almond-milk/) and Parkinson’s disease (Preventing Parkinson’s Disease With Diet http://nutritionfacts.org/video/preventing-parkinsons-disease-with-diet/). Galactose is a milk sugar. There’s also concern about milk proteins (see my casomorphin http://nutritionfacts.org/topics/casomorphin/ series) and fats (The Saturated Fat Studies: Buttering Up the Public http://nutritionfacts.org/video/the-saturated-fat-studies-buttering-up-the-public/ and Trans Fat in Meat and Dairy http://nutritionfacts.org/video/trans-fat-in-meat-and-dairy/) as well as the hormones (Dairy Estrogen and Male Fertility http://nutritionfacts.org/video/dairy-estrogen-and-male-infertility, Estrogen in Meat, Dairy, and Eggs http://nutritionfacts.org/video/Estrogen-in-Meat-Dairy-and-Eggs/ and Why Do Vegan Women Have 5x Fewer Twins? http://nutritionfacts.org/video/Why-Do-Vegan-Women-Have-5x-Fewer-Twins?). This video is for more advanced health seekers. If you don't wish to believe that most people are dangerously deficient in iodine (which is giving them thyroid problems), quality vitamin C, vitamin D, magnesium and several other key nutrients, or you think you're going to get everything your body needs by just juicing some fruit and vegetables - this video may not be for you. Nutrients in the soil have become depleted in many areas, and store-bought fruit and vegetables simply are not going to contain all the nutrients your body needs. Anti-Chemtrail Tea!

04:30
It is easily learned that chemtrails have significant levels of aluminum oxides, magnesium and barium and that it is sprayed often enough for the environment to absorb much of this (and pass it off to us). This is BAD! High levels of aluminum oxide in the body have been linked to Alzheimer's. Aluminum combined with magnesium clots your blood. Barium leeches potassium out of your system (through your sinus, e.g. mucus). But you're not helpless; you can have excellent health if you make some choices and put them into practice. Yes! Excellent health awaits you in a chemsprayed world! Dice a generous amount of ginger root - it's not expensive -and put it in a pot. Ginger root is a blood thinner, so it helps to counteract the coagulant effects of the aluminum/magnesium combo found in chemtrail cocktails. Next throw in your flax seeds. Boiling these will extract the oil, which doesn't go rancid until well after its extraction from the seeds. You can store the seeds in the cupboard for quite some time. The flax oil, in addition to being high in potassium, specifically enhances your braincell membranes and gives them the strength to push the aluminum oxides out of your brain through the scalp. You'll have "dandruff", but that's better than Alzheimer's. Avoid tap water if you can. Spring water is great, as it is alkaline, and disease cannot live in an alkaline body. Throw in a (decaf!) green tea. Green tea is an antioxidant, and is also alkaline AND it helps to purge heavy metals from your system (like the aluminum). Now let's cook it! High heat until a boil, then medium for about five to ten minutes, depending on how much goodness you want to extract out of the ginger and flax. Keep an eye on it because even at medium heat it will want to boil over! Strain it into a mug, store the solids in the fridge for later use. You can use them a good 2-4 times or more, depending on the potency you're after each time. Potency will be based on 1) the ratio of ingredients to water and 2) the cooking time. Final ingredients: 1) Lemon (almost mandatory for any tea, wouldn't you say?) 2) Honey (tasty AND healthy!) 3) Apple cider vinegar (ACV). Make sure you get ACV with the "mother" (unrefined). The Apple Cider Vinegar provides a potent supply of potassium and also thins the blood. If you drink this concoction regularly, you will be MUCH healthier than you should be for all the crud you breath in every day. Not only is this SUPER healthy, but it is tangy and delicious! I hope you find this helpful in improving the quality of your life on this polluted earth. Now go and get some medicine for your soul. http://willingcatholicmartyr.blogspot.com/2009/04/what-must-you-do-to-get-to-heaven.html music by Kevin MacLeod (Clear Air, Robo-Western)

Samovar Sweet Yerba Mate

00:24
Ingredients: Organic Argentinian shade-grown yerba maté, organic licorice. Flavor Profile: Earthy and sweet with notes of bran, hay, and sweetgrass and a hint of sweet anise. Tea Story: Our honeyed take on Yerba Mate sweetened up a bit with the delightful anise flavor of organic licorice root. This herbal is the only herbal we have that has caffeine. Yerba Mate was originally sipped by the Guyarani Indians in South America. Today, Yerba Mate has become a daily ritual all over South America and now San Francisco too. In the fields and villages of rural Paraguay, Yerba Mate consumption provides a reflection of the strongest traditional values of rural Paraguay. When receiving guests, a host always invites them to drink Yerba Mat? not just out of courtesy but also because of tradition. Yerba Mate is customarily sipped from a gourd, called aguampa, through a metal straw, called a bombilla, while being passed from person to person. In this fashion, Yerba Mate is consumed in the presence of family, friends, co-workers or guests because it provides an opportunity for social interaction. People take the time to visit, share ideas, and get to know each other while drinking Yerba Mate These customs demonstrate their place in Paraguayan culture as a tradition based in community and regard for others. The people of Paraguay have enjoyed Yerba Mate for hundreds of years. Yerba Mate has been regarded as a traditional herbal medicine and healthy daily ritual throughout regions of South America. In Europe, it has been recommended as a stimulant that reduces stress, obesity, headaches, and arthritis. The nutrients of this naturally caffeinated drink comprise of 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, potent antioxidants, and 196 active compounds (superior to green tea's active compounds). Yerba Mate does contain caffeine (in spite of the "myth" about "mateine"). However, compared to coffee, Yerba Mat?contains up to 50% less caffeine. As a result, a serving of Yerba Mate provides a more balanced stimulation without the nervous jitters often associated with coffee and other highly-caffeinated beverages. Yerba Mate is more than just a yummy herbal infusion - it is used as a tonic, a diuretic, and as a stimulant to aid gastric function in herbal medicine systems throughout South America and is regarded as a rejuvenating, healthy drink to aid in everyday life. We tasted a lot of Mate out there, but finally hooked up with a small collective of family farmers in Paraguay to supply us. We chose them for two reasons: 1. We really liked the full, strong, bittersweet, vegetal taste of their product. 2. We wanted to help support them maintain their traditional farming methods and culture. There are other small farmers all over South America who are currently seriously threatened by big agro-business, and they are being tempted to convert all of their farms to soybean production. The problem with soybean farming is that in a few years their land gets depleted of its nutrients, they use pesticides and chemicals to produce the biggest crops in the fastest way possible, and their local economy is threatened by big-business interests. Brew up the best Yerba Mate around, and help to support these small family farms. We think mate tastes best when sipped in the traditional gourd, guampa, from the traditional metal straw, bombilla. Samovarian Poetry: Bittersweet & vegetal, a antioxidant boosting beverage from South America Food Pairing: Yerba Mate earthy and slightly bitter, but it pairs well with morning pastries: raisin bran muffins, croissants with lots of butter, Samovar's Quinoa Ginger Waffles. Thermogenesis is the burning of fat to produce energy in the cells of the body. Forever Therm™ also provides natural caffeine-related alkaloids from Guarana seed extract to help support energy levels during your workouts and busy day. Studies show that Green Tea is synergistic with natural caffeine to support thermogenesis. Green Coffee bean extract provides unique compounds – chlorogenic acids – not found in high levels in roasted coffee beans. These active constituents are shown to help inhibit the absorption of glucose and, as such, may help to support normal blood sugar levels for those already in the normal range. B vitamins and Vitamin C are essential in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Since these vitamins are readily depleted during times of physical stress – such as during exercise – replenishment is important and can play a role in metabolic support. Of course, the foundation for any successful weight management program is maintaining a healthy diet and obtaining adequate exercise. Thorne Research, Basic Detox Nutrients, 360 Vegetarian Capsules

01:29
http://fas.st/EmWgtV Thorne Research, Basic Detox Nutrients, 360 Vegetarian Capsules Description Dietary Supplement A comprehensive multiple vitamin-mineral formula with additional nutrients to aid in detoxification a unique multiple vitamin-mineral product designed for a toxic world use as part of a complete cleansing program OR use as a stand-alone product to mitigate exposure to environmental toxins with optimally absorbable flavonoid phytosomes – green tea, curcumin, and milk thistle Basic Detox Nutrients is designed for individuals with environmental toxicity. It can be used within a cleansing program or as a stand-alone product for preventive use. Basic Detox Nutrients is a complete multi vitamin-mineral formulation with higher levels of nutrients commonly found to be deficient in those with chemical overload, as well as those nutrients and botanicals that help the body handle the toxic load, including: B vitamins: Thiamine (vitamin B1) is essential to restore the body's antioxidant defense - glutathione and lipoic acid. Thiamine is depleted by chlorinated pesticides and formaldehyde, two ubiquitous toxins. Riboflavin 5'-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B2) helps block free-radical damage by recycling glutathione. Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B6) is depleted by many toxic substances, and a vitamin B6 deficiency makes it difficult for the liver to detoxify. Other important detox nutrients: Magnesium citrate-malate is a well-absorbed form of magnesium, one of the most commonly deficient nutrients in the chemically toxic individual. Choline is needed for the production of liver detoxification enzymes, N-acetylcysteine increases glutathione levels in the body, MSM provides sulfur for detoxification reactions, and R-lipoic acid is a powerful antioxidant that increases glutathione levels. Botanical extracts: Green tea extract has potent antioxidant activity. Milk thistle has proven ability to increase liver glutathione levels and resist liver cell damage from toxins. Curcumin extract (from turmeric) protects the liver and has been shown to suppress several common chemical toxins. Green tea, milk thistle, and curcumin are all provided bound to phosphatidylcholine as phytosomes, Greenselect, Siliphos, and Meriva, respectively. This significantly increases the absorption and bioavailability of these flavonoids. Both broccoli extract and dandelion root also enhance detoxification by the liver. Suggested Use Take 6-12 capsules daily or as recommended by your health-care practitioner. Other Ingredients Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium laurate, silicon dioxide. Contains ingredients derived from soy (phytosomes). Warnings Tamper Evident: Use only if bottle is sealed. Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place. If pregnant, consult your health-care practitioner before using this product. http://fas.st/EmWgtV (More info)

Buy above Ingredients from Amazon, below:- Almonds:- http://azon.ly/almonds Sunflower Seeds:- http://azon.ly/sunflowerseeds Eat These 2 Foods To Regrow Hair In 19 Days - Hair Loss Treatment - Hair Loss Cure Download Daily Plans @ https://www.remediesone.com whether it’s out of desperation to reset a cut from hell or just the desire to try out a new look, you’ve probably been compelled to search for how to make your hair grow faster at one point or another—and you know by now that not everything on the good old internet actually works. However, there are some things you can do that yield real results, especially when it comes to strategic eating. In Today's video Remedies One will discuss Eat THESE Foods to regrow hair in 19 Days. 1. Salmon, This fish is loaded with the strong hair supporters like vitamin D and protein, and it also contains omega-3 fatty acids that promote hair growth by keeping your scalp healthy. A win-win. 2. Yellow peppers, Yellow bell peppers have nearly five and a half times more vitamin C than oranges (341 milligrams, as opposed to 63). This is very good news for your locks—vitamin C is an antioxidant that strengthens the hair shaft and hair follicles, as well as prevents breakage. 3. Oysters, Zinc deficiency has been known to cause hair loss and poor scalp conditions, and oysters are loaded with zinc—just three ounces contains 493-percent of your daily value. But not just any oysters will do: Steer clear of the ones caught in the Gulf of Mexico, which may contain unusually high levels of Cadmium due to the 2010 BP oil spill. 4. Eggs, Eggs are an excellent source of those aforementioned omega-3s, and they are also contain biotin (which many people trying to grow their hair take in supplement form). But be aware: It’s not the “healthier” egg white that will make your hair long and beautiful, it’s the yolk. Eating too many egg whites can actually block the absorption of biotin into the body, causing a depletion of this micronutrient. 5. Sunflower seeds, Just a few little seeds can supply you with an abundance of vitamin E, which will enhance blood flow to the scalp and promote faster hair growth. 8. Almonds, These nuts will make your hair grow faster and thicker due to their high biotin content. One cup contains nearly one-third of your daily requirement. You should be able to see the results in a month or two of adding them to your diet. The Importance Of A Liver Detox Diet

The Importance Of A Liver Detox Diet The liver is a very crucial organ in the body. Its primary task is the elimination of wastes and toxins from the body. If your diet lacks in nutritional value, the liver will have problems eliminating them. For this reason, it is very important that you have a liver detox diet. There are different sources of toxins. Mostly, they come from the food we consume, from the water that we drink, the air, from our own body and the environment and it is the liver’s job to wash away all of the toxins that we get from them. The liver detoxifies in three ways, blood filtration, neutralization of fats and cholesterol and breaking down of toxins with enzymes. The breaking down of enzymes is a two-step process called the phase I and phase II detoxification. To improve the function of the liver, one of the best ways is to go on a liver detox diet. In a liver detox diet, one must consume fresh fruits and vegetables abundantly to give the body all of the necessary nutrients. There are several things that you can try for your liver detox diet such as the following: High-fiber diet Intake of foods high in fiber is a good liver detox diet. Fiber basically sticks to the bile in the intestines which aids in the elimination of toxins through the bowels. Consume high-nutrition foods Eating foods rich in antioxidants is also necessary in a liver detox diet. Foods rich in vitamin C, vitamin E and beta carotene are good sources of antioxidants while eating foods high in B vitamins, calcium and trace minerals help protect the liver against damages. • Intake of B vitamins Adequate intake of foods rich in B vitamins like methionine, betaine, choline vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folic acid help decongest the liver. It also helps improve liver function and fat neutralization. • Fasting Fasting can rapidly increase waste elimination as well as enhance the body’s natural healing process. However, not everyone can go fasting. It is important to talk to a doctor about this for your safety. High-fiber diet involves intake of fruits and vegetables. Foods high in Vitamin C and E contain antioxidants needed to treat and protect a damaged liver. When the liver is overworked due to alcohol consumption and toxins, B vitamins are depleted. It is important to replenish it by eating plant-based foods. The following are good sources of Vitamins C, E and B vitamins: Parsley - Cauliflower - Cabbage - Strawberries - Asparagus - Mangos - Tomatoes Peanuts , Sesame seeds ,Egg yolks , Garlic, Onions , Onions , Lettuce Going on a liver detox diet is a great way to help you keep a healthy liver. To know more about it, it is best to consult your healthcare provider. If you’ve liked the video give it a thumb up, leave a comment and share with your friends. We Thank You So Much For Watching. Ketosis: How Low-Carb High-Fat Affects Magnesium: Thomas DeLauer

Please Subscribe for 3x Videos Per Week + Live Broadcasts! http://ThomasDeLauer.com Ketosis: How Low-Carb High-Fat Affects Magnesium: Thomas DeLauer Keto, ketosis, ketogenic, fat adaptation, Atkins, whatever you want to call it, it's big right now. A lot of people have been asking me to do more videos surrounding the world of ketosis. This video is about minerals and what happens when you're in a very carb deprived state and you're going into ketosis. What happens with your minerals? Specifically, when you consume carbohydrates, you hold 3.7 grams of water in your body for every one gram of carbohydrate that you consume. Think about this. When deprive your body of carbohydrates, you're losing a lot of that water, the water that would normally be hanging out in your muscles, the water that would normally be in your cells. What does this mean when you don't have that? You don't have that water, which means you also don't have the minerals. Your body is moving through minerals like crazy. Everyone will talk about salt. It's becoming more popular. If you're in ketosis, you need to have salt. Here's the problem. Sure, add salt, but then your ratio is out of balance, your salt to magnesium ratio, your salt to potassium ratio, which means that you have to work from scratch and make sure you're getting enough magnesium. I've actually talked about it in other videos that getting your magnesium from food sources is becoming pretty difficult, because most of them are depleted, but also, they're usually counterbalanced with calcium. In fact, we actually did a study. We did a little research where we actually sent in our own almonds to determine how much calcium and how much magnesium was in them. Turns out, there's really not that much magnesium, when you factor how much calcium's in it. You really should be supplementing magnesium when you're in ketosis. Simply put, you're going to want to make sure you're keeping those levels elevated. What's going to end up happening is you're going to actually start storing the minerals, because you're having extra sodium coming in and able to retain water that way. It looks something like this. You start losing some weight, usually from water, the first few days of ketosis. You're also losing electrolytes as well, so you add sodium into the mix. It's going to help you retain water and then you add some magnesium, so that you retain the magnesium as well. There's a step to this. Sodium first, then magnesium. I think you'll find that you sleep a lot better, because that's a problem that people have in ketosis. You'll also find your mood is generally a little bit better. You asked and you received. Let me know more videos you want to see, specifically surrounding ketosis, because I think that's hot right now. If you have anything that you want to know, you can always comment below, or you can hit the contact form on my web site and myself, or a member of my team will start sifting through to determine which videos are best to do. I love bringing the content like this. Make sure you hit that subscribe button, if you haven't already. I'll see you in the next video.

9 Effective Home Remedies for Lupus

06:42
9 Effective Home Remedies for Lupus Consume a healthy and balanced diet While there are no specific foods or herbs that can cure lupus, access to good nutrition on a regular basis can help your body cope with the symptoms and the side effects of the medication (14). This should include ample amounts of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, with moderate consumption of meat, oily fish, and poultry. Maintaining a healthy diet will help you reduce inflammation, mainly through the regular consumption of antioxidant-rich fruits, vegetables, and foods that contain omega-3 fatty acids (e.g., oily fish, nuts, canola and olive oil). Furthermore, low-fat or fat-free dairy products (or non-dairy alternatives like dark green vegetables, soy milk, and almond milk) can help ensure that you consume enough calcium and vitamin D to maintain strong bones and muscles. Consume probiotics A 2014 study published in the Journal of Applied and Environmental Microbiology noted that young, female lupus-prone mice that were comparable to women of childbearing age had depleted lactobacilli within their gut microbiota. Instead, strains of Clostridiaceae and Lachnospiraceae were more abundant, leading to an earlier onset of lupus symptoms and an increase in their severity. When treatments that increased the abundance of Lactobacillaceae in the intestines of the mice were introduced, the lupus symptoms improved (15). While future studies are needed to validate the ability of lactobacilli probiotics to alleviate the inflammatory flares suffered by lupus patients, they presently stand as a possible therapeutic method for lupus patients. Consuming lactobacilli probiotics in the form of capsules and cultured drinks thus stand to provide you with anti-inflammatory benefits and less severe symptoms. Consume fish oil/omega-3 fatty acids In 2015, a study published in the Nutrition Journal found that 50 SLE patients benefited from a greater quality of life, reduced fatigue, lower disease activity and lower levels of inflammation after consuming fish oil capsules that contained omega-3 fatty acids (16). Consuming fish oil supplements can thus help you access their powerful anti-oxidant benefits, which will help you cope with the common set of problems reported by SLE patients: oxidative stress, inflammation, and constant fatigue. Turmeric A 2012 study published in the Journal of Renal Nutrition revealed that daily consumption of three turmeric capsules (500 mg, with 22.1 mg of curcumin) by patients with relapsing or refractory lupus nephritis produced a significant decrease in proteinuria (i.e., protein in urine), lower systolic blood pressure and decreased hematuria (the presence of red blood cells in urine) (17). Turmeric is effective for treating lupus as it reduces the production of cytokines in the system, reducing the inflammation that causes organ damage. (19) Turmeric can be consumed in the form of a supplement, or by adding it to your daily diet. Ginger Ginger is closely related to turmeric and has similar medicinal properties which makes it one of the best home remedies for lupus. Studies have shown that ginger is effective home remedy for lupus as it contains regulates the protein in the body called factor-kappaB. Factor-kappaB is an active agent in a wide variety of inflammatory conditions and diseases (e.g. cancer, diabetes, asthma, and other autoimmune diseases) (20). Factor-kappaB is responsible for cytokine production (21). With fewer cytokines, lupus induced inflammation is checked. The active components from ginger, have been demonstrated to suppress and inhibit Factor-kappaB, which reduces cytokines, which reduce inflammation. To benefit from ginger’s anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, simply add it to your diet by incorporating it into your cooking. You can also consume ginger supplements, or add it to your tea or fresh fruit and vegetable juices. 6 Oregano Oil Oregano oil is rich in carvacrol and thymol and is another great treatment for lupus. Both of these naturally occurring compounds give oregano oil its medicinal properties as they are antibiotic and anti-inflammatory When it comes to lupus, it is the anti-inflammatory properties of oregano oil that are of interest, and again it is to do with cytokines. Oregano oil has been shown to reduce inflammatory cytokines and increase anti-inflammatory cytokines, and therefore limit the damage from inflammation caused by lupus (22). Just use the oil in cooking to reap its benefits. 7. Anti-oxidant foods 8. Flax seeds 9.
