What REALLY Causes High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)?
Give Dr. Berg a Review: http://bit.ly/DrBergReviewGoogle VIDEOS ON INSULIN RESISTANCE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxl8h... Dr. Berg talks about the link between high blood pressure and insulin resistance. Insulin resistances, which is high insulin stiffens your arteries, disrupts the endothelial layer of your arteries, which start the hardening of the arteries as well as the cascade effect of cholesterol and calcium to accumulate in the arteries. High insulin (insulin resistance) creates inflammation in the arteries. This condition also causes sodium retention and a loss of potassium because insulin is necessary to allow this mineral in the cell. Diuretics also have a side-effect of causing insulin resistance. The treatment of hypertension is mainly medications because we are told that there is no cure, only treatment. The pathophysiology is in reality a disruption of the artery wall creating vasoconstriction, stiffness and less elasticity. The additional symptom of hypertension is headaches and a risk for stroke and heart attack. The home remedies involve actions to lower insulin - cutting out sugar, adding vegetables to get your potassium and even apple cider vinegar can help. High Blood Pressure Symptoms: Emergency Symptoms, Treatments, and More
High Blood Pressure Symptoms: Emergency Symptoms, Treatments, and More High blood pressure High blood pressure is often associated with few or no symptoms. Many people have it for years without knowing it. However, just because high blood pressure is often symptomless doesn’t mean it’s harmless. In fact, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or hypertension, causes damage to your arteries, especially those in the kidneys and eyes. High blood pressure is also a risk factor for stroke, heart attack, and other cardiovascular problems. High blood pressure is generally a chronic condition. There are two major categories of high blood pressure: secondary hypertension and primary hypertension. Most people have primary hypertension, otherwise known as essential hypertension. Secondary hypertension is high blood pressure that is the direct result of a separate health condition. Primary hypertension is high blood pressure that doesn’t result from a specific cause. Instead, it develops gradually over time. Many such cases are attributed to hereditary factors. Typically, the only way to know you have hypertension is to get your blood pressure tested. Rare symptoms and emergency symptoms Rarely, people with chronic high blood pressure might have symptoms such as: dull headaches dizzy spells nosebleeds When symptoms do occur, it’s usually only when blood pressure spikes suddenly and extremely enough to be considered a medical emergency. This is called a hypertensive crisis. Hypertensive crisis is defined as a blood pressure reading of 180 milligrams of mercury (mm Hg) or above for the systolic pressure (first number) or 120 or above for the diastolic pressure (second number). It’s often caused by skipping medications or secondary high blood pressure. If you’re checking your own blood pressure and get a reading that high, wait a few minutes and then check again to make sure the first reading was accurate. Other symptoms of a hypertensive crisis may include: severe headache or migraine severe anxiety chest pain vision changes shortness of breath nosebleed After waiting a few minutes, if your second blood pressure reading is still 180 or above, don’t wait to see whether your blood pressure comes down on its own. Call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Emergency hypertensive crisis can result in severe complications, including: fluid in the lungs brain swelling or bleeding a tear in the aorta, the body’s main artery stroke seizures in pregnant women with eclampsia High blood pressure during pregnancy In some cases, high blood pressure can occur during pregnancy. There are several types of high blood pressure disorders in pregnancy. Causes may be due to a number of factors, including: obesity chronic high blood pressure diabetes kidney disease lupus in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other pregnancy-related assistance being a teen or being over 40 years of age carrying more than one child (e.g., twins) first-time pregnancy If high blood pressure occurs during pregnancy after 20 weeks, a condition known as preeclampsia may develop. Severe preeclampsia can cause damage to the organs and brain, which can bring on life-threatening seizures known as eclampsia. Signs and symptoms of preeclampsia include protein in urine samples, intense headaches, and vision changes. Other symptoms are abdominal pain and excessive swelling of the hands and feet. High blood pressure during pregnancy can cause a premature birth or early detachment of the placenta. It may also require a cesarean delivery. In most cases, the blood pressure will return to normal after giving birth. Complications and risks of high blood pressure Over time, untreated high blood pressure can cause heart disease and related complications such as heart attack, stroke, and heart failure. Other potential problems are: vision loss kidney damage erectile dysfunction (ED) fluid buildup in the lungs memory loss Treatment for high blood pressure There are a number of treatments for high blood pressure, ranging from lifestyle changes to weight loss to medication. Doctors will determine the plan based on your level of high blood pressure and its cause. Dietary changes Healthy eating is an effective way to help lower high blood pressure, especially if it’s only mildly elevated. It’s often recommended to eat foods low in sodium and salt, and high in potassium. The Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet is one example of a food plan prescribed by doctors to keep blood pressure in order. The focus is on low-sodium and low-cholesterol foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

🌽 #1 Food That Causes High Blood Pressure
How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerBPNow 5 Best Foods For Lowering Your Blood Pressure, Naturally: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/FoodsLoweringBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/SurprisingHBPFacts And the clinical studies can be seen here: 1. http://www.cdc.gov/bloodpressure/facts.htm 2. http://openheart.bmj.com/content/1/1/e000167 3. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/06/14/calories-america.aspx ======================================= 🌽 #1 Food That Causes High Blood Pressure ======================================= If you didn’t already know, at least ⅓ of US adults have high blood pressure. And having hypertension is one of the leading causes of a heart attack or stroke.(1) Now, there are lots of ways to naturally lower your blood pressure and under this video, in the description area, I’ve listed some of my favorites. However, don’t go there yet because most people, including doctors, mistakenly consume less salt to lower blood pressure. However, low-salt diets typically don’t make much of a difference. What does make a big difference is lowering sugar in your diet and more specifically, “high fructose corn syrup” In a recent study in the journal Open Heart (2), the authors write: “Evidence from epidemiological studies and experimental trials in animals and humans suggests that added sugars, particularly fructose, may increase blood pressure and blood pressure variability, increase heart rate and myocardial oxygen demand, and contribute to inflammation, insulin resistance and broader metabolic dysfunction. Thus, while there is no argument that recommendations to reduce consumption of processed foods are highly appropriate and advisable, the arguments in this review are that the benefits of such recommendations have less to do with sodium—minimally related to blood pressure and perhaps even inversely related to cardiovascular risk—and more to do with highly-refined carbohydrates and sugars." The Problem Started In The 1970s Food and beverage manufacturers began switching their sweeteners from sucrose (table sugar) to corn syrup in the 1970s when they discovered that High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) was far cheaper to use in their products. In fact, HFCS is the #1 source of calories in America!!!( 3) It’s found in almost everything you can think of. More specifically, in sodas and fruit juices. But also in many pre-packaged foods. This also includes “healthy sugars” sweetened with agave. My Proven “Prescription” and Recommendation For You You must do your best to limit and eliminate all HFCS and to do this, make sure you read labels. Again, the LESS pre-packaged the food, the better. Limit your TOTAL fructose to 25 grams or less, that’s about 100 calories daily. This includes the natural fructose found in fruits. If you are already suffering from high blood pressure or signs of insulin resistance like diabetes, overweight and high cholesterol, you should be particularly careful to limit your fructose, including that from whole fruits, to 15 grams per day or less. That’s about 60 calories daily. So there you have it. Focus more on limiting your sugars, this includes fruit sugar, fructose … and especially “high fructose corn syrup” which is found in most pre-packaged foods, especially sodas and fruit juices. Now, I wanted to keep this video short and simple so you have something to implement today and start get results right away. If you want more details on how to lower your blood pressure naturally, under this video I’ve got simple and proven solutions that you can utilize and you do NOT even have to change your diet or exercise. 🍊 The Most Powerful Fruit For Lowering Blood Pressure
How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure by 23% In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerMyBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodForBP Refferences: 1. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15158307 2. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10799367 3. https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=pomegranate ======================================= 💖 One Of The Most Powerful Fruits For Lowering Blood Pressure Pomegranate ======================================= One of my favorite heart-health fruits is Pomegranate. It’s not very popular in America, but it’s widely used in the Middle East, Asia and the Mediterranean. Which incidentally, all 3 regions are known for having lower heart disease and blood pressure. This amazing fruit not only tastes good, but has a multitude of health benefits that can help you lower your blood pressure and ensure the health of your heart and arteries. (2) Helps regulate blood pressure. Powerful Antioxidant effect. Helps clear artery blockages. Lowers "bad" LDL cholesterol. Can help with various healthy conditions (erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, kidney disease and more). How It Works A compound found only in pomegranates is called punicalagin (pu-nee-kal-ah-gin). It has been shown to offer benefits for the heart and blood vessels. Punicalagin is responsible for pomegranate's antioxidant and health benefits. (3) It not only lowers blood pressure and increases the speed at which heart blockages caused by atherosclerosis are removed, it also lowers bad cholesterol. Studies have been done on patients with severe carotid (ker-ah-tid) artery blockages. They were given an ounce of pomegranate juice each day for a year. Amazingly, the patient's blood pressure lowered by 12%, and there was a 30% reduction in atherosclerotic plaque, meaning the arteries were cleared (1). More studies have shown that potent antioxidant compounds found in pomegranates reduce platelet aggregation and naturally lower blood pressure, factors that prevent both heart attacks and strokes (2). Side-Effects & Warnings As far as negative side-effects, there aren’t any. However, drinking fruit juice - whether it’s from an orange or pomegranate - isn’t a good idea because of a few factors. Sugar increases blood pressure and fruit sugar, fructose is the worst. Fruit juice, including pomegranate, has a high glycemic index and thus, it spikes up your blood sugar and insulin levels. This in turn can increase stomach fat, diabetes and yes, blood pressure levels. Eating the actual fruit is best, including the seeds. It has additional fiber, healthy fats and many other benefits. However, this is a messy fruit and 95% of people will not eat it and pick apart all the little pomegranate seeds. Ideally, you would take Pomegranate Fruit Extract, at a 5:1 ratio at 200 mgs daily. That’s the clinically proven extract and dosage for improving your blood pressure levels.3 How To Get Much Better & Safer Results One thing to remember is you never want to use only ONE ingredient to achieve a health goal. This is because your body will quickly adapt and the ingredient will stop working. This means you’ll need to use a higher and higher dosage -- which will eventually lead to negative side-effects. Of course, this makes sense because you don’t only eat ONE type of vegetable (broccoli) all the time for total health, right?... Additionally, whatever is causing the health problem - in this case, “high blood pressure”, is NEVER from only ONE cause -- it’s usually multiple reasons. And that's why you want to “attack” the problem using multiple mechanisms. Research has shown that Pomegranate extract works much better, when utilized with other complementary ingredients, for dramatically improved blood pressure and total heart-health. Clinically proven ingredients to use with Pomegranate extract is: Magnesium “blend” (glycinate, malate, citrate, etc.) English Hawthorn Berry Extracts (standardized to 3.2% vitexin-2-rhamnosides and 2% flavonoids) Grape Seed Extract (MegaNatural®-BP 85% Total Phenolics) Celery Seed Extract (85% 3nB; 42.5% phthalides) Lycopene Extract (5%) L-Arginine (L-Arginine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate) The special synergy between these correct “stack of ingredients”, creates a much safer and more effective solution. ======================================== Thank you for watching. How To Lower Blood Pressure Quickly - Quick Natural Way To Lower Your BP
http://BPgoLow.com/Virgina-Sturms-Natural-Solutions-To-High-BP How to lower blood pressure quickly when you find its shot up - soak your feet in warm water. You will get almost immediate but temporary relief. I was so luck I knew about this solution when I had my own emergency, the day my BP shot way too high. A megadose of a supplement I took (Vit B12) backfired. If you're ever in such a quandary, what do you do - call your doctor, go to the ER? Yes, please do that. For me, I soaked my feet in warm water. I'm not recommending this as a substitute for proper medical treatment. I'm just saying this is what I did myself, and it worked for me. One day, before leaving home, my BP was 171/113. They say high BP (hypertension) is a "silent disease", but it does whisper softly. I felt it. It was an uncomfortable feeling, a strong sense of "something isn't right". For some it may be a slight headachy feeling, or a tightness in the head, or dizziness. If you stop and think, you can feel it if ever your BP shoots way too high. If ever it does, you'll then be searching for answers as to how to lower blood pressure quickly, like I was. Soaking your feet can significantly reduce blood pressure. You don't need to add add anything to the water. Just plain hot tap water will do. Nothing fancy. It's the heating of the feet that does it. Why does it work? I don't know. It's a curious physiological reaction you can use to your own advantage. I made this video because if ever you need to know how to lower your blood pressure quickly, this is one natural, quick and easy solution. My BP was dropped from about 170/100 down to 140/80, rising a bit thereafter, but not as high as it was before the feet soaking treatment. What a RELIEF!!! I hope you find this video on lowering blood pressure quickly helpful to you. Good luck with managing your hypertension. Once you know how to lower your blood pressure quickly, and get your BP down to safer levels, if you need to find other more permanent solutions for natural BP reduction, please go to http://BPgoLow.com/Virgina-Sturms-Natural-Solutions-To-High-BP

How I lowered my dad's blood pressure, without drugs or diets ►►http://drsam.co/yt/SeeItYourself ======================================= Top 10 Causes Of High Blood Pressure ======================================= 1. AGE Most people don’t realize that AGE is one of the BIGGEST factors for high blood pressure. I discuss this in my very important article, but what’s important to note is that after the age of 40, 33% of the population has high blood pressure and after the age of 60, over 71% of the population has hypertension! So, if you’re over the age of 40 and have high blood pressure, it may not be your fault. But it IS your responsibility to fix it right away and here is how I lowered my dad’s blood pressure naturally, in just 30 days. 2. GENETICS & FAMILY HISTORY Well, not much can be done here. This is in fact my own problem because I have a family history (on my dad’s side) of hypertension, heart attacks and especially strokes. You can read more about it, include my personal favorite solution that my dad, my family and I use to promote healthy blood pressure levels, naturally! 3. SMOKING Come on people, smoking has NO health benefits. STOP smoking! 4. ALCOHOL A little bit of alcohol is okay, especially if it’s organic red wine. But drinking every night will cause damage to your heart, arteries and liver. Alcohol is a toxic and it’s acidic, both being bad for your body. 5. BEING OVERWEIGHT Similar to smoking, being overweight has no health benefits. And the older you get, the harder it is to lose that unwanted fat. 6. SODIUM Salt has its benefits actually. Regular table salt or salt found in processed foods and packages is BAD for you. However, “natural” salts such as Himalayan rock or Celtic sea salt is GOOD for you and can actually help LOWER blood pressure. I’ll discuss this in a future article. 7. STRESS Well know stress is bad. However, you can’t get rid of it. What’s important is the MEANING you give to stressful situations. If you freak out, get negative and focus on the problem the entire time … you put your body under extra stress. The secret is to focus on the SOLUTION and to know that “this too shall pass” and worrying about the problem isn’t going to help anything… Especially our blood pressure or heart. 8. LACK OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY We sit too much these days. Just get outside and walk daily, even if it’s just for 15-20 minutes. It’ll do wonders for your physical AND mental health! 9. MEDICAL CONDITIONS This goes back to “genetics”. And if you know you have a genetic “problem”, which is making things worse, then you MUST make changes to your life-style because your body is more sensitive than the average person. This is a similar problem with my dad and why he had a stroke. 10. MEDICATION Ironically, many “heart” medications actually cause more heart PROBLEMS in the long run. They can increase your cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure levels. They can decrease blood flow and circulation. And they all cause extra stress on your liver and kidneys, which then cause more problems for your heart. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg takes about the relationship between insulin resistance, potassium and blood pressure. Blood pressure is a potassium deficiency, not a a sodium excess. However, if someone has a problem with insulin, potassium is even more deficient. Potassium is controlled by insulin. When there is insulin resistance, potassium becomes deficient. By spiking potassium in a pre-diabetic or a diabetic state, the need for insulin can reduce. ☝️ 3 Pressure Points That’ll Instantly Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally
How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure by 23% In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉http://drsam.co/yt/LongTermLowBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodForBP ======================================= ☝️ 3 Pressure Points That’ll Instantly Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally ======================================= Lowering high blood pressure is a very important topic not only for avoiding a heart attack or stroke, but simply for a longer life. And personally speaking, this is very important for me because I have a family history of high blood pressure, which has typically lead to strokes on my dad’s side of the family and heart attacks on my mom’s. The good news is that there are lots of simple ways to lower high blood pressure, naturally. And today I’m going reveal 3 simple pressure points on your body, that will instantly lower your blood pressure. Something important that I want to bring to your attention about today’s topic is that these solutions are for instant results, NOT long-term solutions … which I’ll get to at the end of today’s video. So if you’re feeling stressed or your blood pressure is rising, you can almost instantly and quickly use today’s 3 pressure points to lower your blood pressure and help avoid anything bad from happening. If nothing else, you’ll get instant relief and relaxation. Acupressure Point LI4 LI 4, which stands for “Large Intestine 4”, is an extremely useful acupressure point that is extensively used to treat chronic pain, acute stress and various types of diseases along with treatment for high blood pressure. This point is situated in the webbing between the forefinger and the thumb… right in the middle as you see here. It calms and balances blood flow throughout the body and clears stagnation. As an added benefit, it also boosts your immunity. The most effective way to apply pressure to LI 4 is to slide your thumb along the webbing until you reach the junction of the thumb and index finger bones. How to apply acupressure? Begin by moving your thumb in a small circular rubbing motion over LI 4 for a few seconds. Then you can apply gentle to moderate thumb pressure depending on how sensitive the area feels. If there is any pain, it should be a “good hurt,” not severe or uncomfortable. You can hold the point as long as you are comfortable, up to several minutes. I typically suggest about 20-30 seconds, then take a few second break and then repeat as often as you’d like. PC 6 PC 6 or Pericardium 6 is yet another important acupressure point for treating high blood pressure. It soothes and helps the heart and circulatory system in their proper functioning. This point is also known as the Inner Gate, and it is located on the inner forearm, approximately three finger-widths away from the wrist crease as you see here. This point can be stimulated by applying firm pressure to the point using your index finger or thumb. Again, apply pressure for about 20-30 seconds, then take a break and repeat as needed. G20 The G20 is below the base of your skull, in the hollows on both sides of the neck, between the two vertical neck muscles. Putting pressure here lowers your blood pressure, reduces headaches and stress by relaxing your nervous system. Use your thumbs, fingers, or knuckles to gradually apply pressure into the hollows of your skull. Close your eyes as you tilt your head back slowly. Take long, slow deep breaths as you hold for two to three minutes. Direct the pressure slowly and firmly into the center of your head. Other Acupressure Points Now, there are lots of other acupressure points -- on your feet, arms, legs, and so forth. I picked these 3 areas for lowering your blood pressure because you can do them any where, any place -- they’re easy to access. It’s just your hand, forearm/wrist and the back of your head. Easy access, you can do it yourself and you’ll get fast relief. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. 5 Foods To Avoid For Hypertension
Follow us on Twitter: @foods4health1 Recipes4Health: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2bZhXBHIb51n1fE3VWPmcQ/videos To learn more about the health benefits of food, visit: http://www.benefitsoffood.blogspot.com High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is an ailment that many individuals around the world are experiencing. In fact, nearly one third of individuals in the United States either have, or are at risk of developing hypertension. Eating a healthy diet full of vegetables, lean proteins, fruit and whole grains along with exercising can help to lower hypertension. In this video, we will discuss foods you will want to avoid if you have hypertension or want to reduce the risk of developing the ailment. Always discuss with your medical practitioner other treatment and prevention methods in this regard. Now, lets discuss some foods to avoids for hypertension. 1. First, perhaps the most important food to avoid for high blood pressure is salt. High sodium intake can hurt the overall health of our cardiovascular system and increase the risk of developing hypertension and cardiovascular disease. It is often recommended that those individuals at risk of developing hypertension or who already live with it should limit their sodium intake to no more than 1500 milligrams per day. 2. Another food you will want to avoid for hypertension is processed deli and lunch meats. Though they can be convenient at times, these foods are loaded with sodium, which again should be avoided for those individuals at risk for hypertension. These meets are loaded with sodium since they are seasoned and preserved with salt. Just a 2 ounce serving of lunch meats can contain more than 500 milligrams of sodium. 3. Sugar and its effects on our overall health have been discussed in the news quite often as of late. Not only can eating too much sugar cause weight gain and many other health problems, but it has also been linked with hypertension. Those individuals who are overweight are at a higher risk of developing the disease. It is also important to keep in mind that sugar has little to no nutritional value as well. It is often recommended that women eat no more than 6 teaspoons of sugar and men no more than 9 teaspoons per day. 4. Drinking alcohol in excess should also be avoided for hypertension. Consuming too much alcohol has now been associated with high blood pressure. In fact, studies have shown that drinking too much alcohol at a time can cause a temporary spike in blood pressure. As well, drinking alcohol in excess for a period of time can cause long-term increase in blood pressure. Not only that, but since alcohol is metabolized by the liver, it can lead to weigh gain, which again can increase the risk of hypertension. 5. Lastly, canned soup should be avoided for hypertension. Although simple and easy to make, this food choice could have negative effects of our blood pressure. Often marketed or though to be a healthy food choice, these soups are loaded with sodium. In just one serving, some canned soups can have over 800 milligrams of sodium. To lower the sodium intake, try making your own soups with healthy ingredients and a lot less salt. How To Lower High Blood Pressure Naturally Without Medication
High blood pressure is also called hypertension. Two factors contribute to high blood pressure: the quantity of blood your heart pumps and how narrow your arteries are. High blood pressure raises your risk of heart problems and strokes. Most people have no symptoms, so the best way to detect it is to get screened during a checkup at your doctor’s office at least every year. If you do have high blood pressure, there are some dietary and lifestyle changes that can help you lower your blood pressure 1. Reduce sodium in your diet Foods high in sodium include table-salt, sauces, salad-dressings, bacon, pickles, snacks, fast-foods, canned-foods, etc. Even a small reduction in the sodium in your diet can reduce blood pressure by 2 to 8 millimeter of mercury. The effect of sodium intake on blood pressure varies among groups of people. In general, limit sodium to less than 2,300 milligrams a day or less. 2. Reduce your stress Chronic stress is an important contributor to high blood pressure. Occasional stress also can contribute to high blood pressure if you react to stress by eating unhealthy food, drinking alcohol or smoking. Take some time to think about what causes you to feel stressed, such as work, family, finances or illness. Once you know what's causing your stress, consider how you can eliminate or reduce stress. If you can't eliminate all of your stressors, you can at least cope with them in a healthier way. 3. Exercise regularly Regular physical activity at least 30 minutes most days of the week can lower your blood pressure by 4 to 9 millimeters of mercury. It's important to be consistent because if you stop exercising, your blood pressure can rise again. If you have slightly high blood pressure (prehypertension), exercise can help you avoid developing full-blown hypertension. If you already have hypertension, regular physical activity can bring your blood pressure down to safer levels. 4.Eat a healthy diet Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 millimeters of mercury. This eating plan is known as the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. 5. Supplement your diet with nuts, seeds, and legumes. They are relatively high in fat, but they also have magnesium, potassium, fiber, and protein. Because of this, the DASH-Diet (Dietary-Approaches-to-Stop-Hypertension) recommends eating only four or five servings per week. 1 serving is 1/3 of a cup of nuts. 6.Restrict your sugar consumption. Processed sugars add calories to your diet without providing you with the nutrients that will make you feel satisfied. Reduce your consumption of sweets to, at most, five per week. A serving is a tablespoon of sugar or jelly 7. Monitor your blood pressure at home and see your doctor regularly Home monitoring can help you keep tabs on your blood pressure, make certain your lifestyle changes are working, and alert you and your doctor to potential health complications. ► How To Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally
How I lowered my dad's blood pressure, without drugs or diets: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerYourBP ======================================= How To Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally ======================================= This is a really important question because most people don’t know that high blood pressure (hypertension) is the most important risk factor for premature deaths… It accounts for over 50% of all deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and 14% of all total deaths each year! Globally, high blood pressure affects 27% of the population and the stats are even worse in the US, about 35% of the population! And get this, it has been estimated that 90% of Americans are expected to develop high blood pressure by the age of 65. I’m very familiar with the stats because I have a family history of high blood pressure (my dad’s side), causing heart attacks and strokes. “Normal” Is Still Too High The newest research suggests that even “normal” blood pressure (120–129 / 80–84 mmHg) increases the risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 46% on average. For women, the risk was slightly lower. But for men, it was much higher—80%, regardless of age. These results are alarming in light of the fact that 33% US citizens have a blood pressure in the normal/high range (129–139 / 84–95 mmHg).... Drugs Don’t Even Work Making the problem worse, studies have shown that prescription drugs for “high normal” blood pressure and even mild hypertension are not effective. A large review of randomized, clinical trials (performed by the prestigious Cochrane Collaboration) found that anti-hypertensive drugs used to treat mild hypertension (140–159 / 90–99 mm/Hg) did not reduce disease complications or the risk of death. What Does All Of This Mean For You?… Even mild hypertension, while still in the “normal” range, can nearly double your risk of heart disease and thus, potentially leading to a heart attack or stroke. So that means we need to… Lower Your Blood Pressure, Naturally High blood pressure affects only 1% of hunter-gatherer populations following a traditional diet,.... but its prevalence increases when those cultures adopt a western diet and lifestyle … DIET Remember that your genes and hormones are primary controlling factors in how you look and feel. And, what you EAT controls your hormones and thus, dictates “gene expression”. Eating the wrong foods can cause hypertension. Pay attention to: Less Sugar & Simple Carbohydrates – When your blood sugar spikes up, typically from eating sugar or from processed/refined carbohydrates, your blood pressure goes up and blood flow decreases. More Vegetables & Fruits – These foods have higher levels of potassium, magnesium, minerals and vitamins which help lower blood pressure. In fact, this is why Blood Pressure Optimizer, utilizes the most potent blood pressure lowering extracts from Hawthorn Berries, Grape Seeds, Celery Seeds, Pomegranate and tomatoes. Less Meat & More Fish – Cold water fish has many blood pressure lowering benefits, primarily because of the healthy fats. The very opposite of modern day meats. If you don’t want to take fish oil pills, just have cold water fish 3-4x weekly. LIFESTYLE Lose Weight – Being overweight is never good for your body, and this includes hypertension. Exercise – You don’t need much. Just get out and WALK daily, even if it’s just 3x a week for only 15-20 minutes. Sleep – My sleep is horrible and as we get older, it seems to get worse for most of us. Try to get to bed earlier. Go Outside – Sunlight helps lower blood pressure. And by walking outside 3x weekly, you’ll get two benefits in one. Relax – We live in stressful times, so you need to take a “time-out” daily and relax. SUPPLEMENTS The right supplements can positively affect your hormones and can dramatically improve your blood pressure naturally, without any of the negative side-effects of drugs. Combined with a better diet and lifestyle, you’re good to go. This is why I formulated Blood Pressure Optimizer for dad and myself. It’s safe and works quickly because it utilizes clinically researched, natural ingredients such as: Grape Seed Extract English Hawthorne Berry Extract Celery Seed Extract Pomegranate Extract Lycopene Extract Try Blood Pressure Optimizer™ … Click here for a natural solution: ►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerYourBP ======================================== Thank you for watching. Keto and Blood Pressure
CORRECTION: At the end, it should be "INCREASE" potassium DATA: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3362178/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16467502 https://journals.lww.com/acsm-healthfitness/fulltext/2012/05000/SODIUM,_POTASSIUM,_AND_HIGH_BLOOD_PRESSURE.6.aspx https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28396533 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4566462/ https://vitamindwiki.com/Vitamin+K2+decreases+arterial+stiffness+%28cleans+arteries%29+%E2%80%93+RCT+Feb+2015 Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis In this video, Dr. Berg discussed about Keto (Ketogenic Diet) and blood pressures. Sodium and the opposing mineral potassium works together and our body needs 4x as much potassium that we do with sodium. To lower sodium, increase the potassium that will automatically give the ratios the body needs. Potassium helps lowering or normalize blood pressure, we need to take at least 7 to 10 cups of leafy greens per day. A calcified artery usually comes after a chain reaction from damage of high sugar and high levels of insulin because the calcium and the cholesterol is triggered by the damage on the artery wall. Cause of High Blood Pressure: • High sodium higher fluid volume – Potassium helps lowering or normalize blood pressure. Increasing potassium will also help lower insulin and improve insulin resistance. • Artery Calcified – hardening of the arteries and plaquing. Coronary Artery Calcification scan is a great test to detect any calcification in the artery. Vitamin K2 with D3 – helps decalcify and helps remove excess calcium from either the joints or arteries and puts it on the bone where it should belong. It comes from fatty foods, grass-fed meats or dairy. The actual vitamins in fatty foods has the ability to calcify or protect the arteries from accumulating too much calcium. • High Insulin – The arteries become stiff and the blood pressure will go up. It is associated with insulin resistance. • Statins – A medication to lower cholesterol but several of the risk factor is diabetes, insulin resistance and insulin spike. Hey guys today we are gonna talk about keto (ketogenic diet) and blood pressure, probably should add in there IF or intermittent fasting as well. But people can then be put in a diuretic, pull their fluid out and then lower their blood pressure. So one point I wanna bring out is the relationship between sodium and the opposing mineral potassium, they both work together. And we need 4x more potassium as we do with sodium. So what does that mean? It means that if you want to lower sodium, you wanna increase your potassium. Because that is automatically will give you the ratios that you need rather than try to lower your sodium, yes you can do see salt which I recommend but you would be much better off increasing your potassium and one of the reason is because potassium automatically will help you lower your blood pressure or normalize blood pressure and most people do not consume enough potassium-rich foods and I am not talking about bananas, I am talking about leafy greens. The average person consumes 1.6 cups of vegetable per day, we need at least 7 cups to hopefully even 10 if you can actually do that. And that would actually give you a lot closer amounts for your potassium. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 52 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Discover the REAL CAUSE of High Blood Pressure & 5 Best Foods for Lowering It Naturally: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/RealHBPCause ======================================= 5 Surprising Blood Pressure Facts Everyone Should Know ======================================= Most people know that having high blood pressure isn’t good and they should have it checked regularly, especially if you have a family history of heart disease, heart attacks or strokes. And I bring this up because this is something my family and I have to deal with. However, beyond the basics, there’s a lot of incorrect information about the causes of hypertension, including blood pressure mistakes your own doctor makes. So today I’ll quickly share 5 of these surprising blood pressure facts with you. 1 -- Too LITTLE salt can be a cause of high blood pressure. Most people know that too much salt is bad, but too little can cause problems as well -- especially if you have congestive heart failure. Your body is made up of salt water (saline) and so is most of the planet. Thus, salt is natural and has many benefits. It helps regulate many functions in your body, especially with your muscles (your heart being one of them). For some people, restricting your salt intake to less than 2000 mgs daily can raise your blood pressure. What you want to do is eliminate or reduce the white table salt and hidden salts found in snack and processed foods, soups, pickles, etc. If you want to have salt, have natural salts such as Celtic and Himalayan because they contain minerals that help balance the sodium (magnesium, calcium potassium, etc.). 2 -- Potassium balances sodium. Speaking of minerals, eating foods high in potassium is good because it balances your sodium intake. Potassium also helps relax your arterial walls and keeps blood pressure in a healthy range. Foods such as baked potatoes, coconut water, bananas, squash and eggplants are high in potassium. However, if you don’t like eating these foods, simply taking potassium pills will help - it’s easy and convenient. 3 -- Many doctors and nurses take inaccurate blood pressure measurements. I remember once a nurse took my blood pressure reading while she was talking to me and I was speaking back to her. My blood pressure reading was still healthy, but NOT accurate. When taking your blood pressure, you should be relaxed and not talking. Sit up straight in the chair with a back support. With both your feet planted on the floor. Additionally, your blood pressure can vary from your by your right or left arm. So it’s best to test both arms for an accurate reading. 4 -- Low blood pressure isn’t a problem, unless you have symptoms. Unless you’re experiencing lightheadedness, dizziness or fatigue, having low blood pressure is fine. However, having HIGH blood pressure without symptoms is NOT fine! That’s why hypertension is called the “silent killer” because many times you don’t “feel” anything negative, but there’s a lot of strain on your body. 5 -- Exercise can increase your blood pressure. Exercise is great and for most of us it helps regulate and normalize your blood pressure. It’s a great stress reliever. However, if you just jump right into your workout without some warming up, your blood pressure may shoot up. Or lifting heavy weights, pushing and straining, can also cause a spike in your blood pressure. You should always be doing a combination of cardio and weights for total health. Just make sure you warm-up and also cool-down at the end of your workout. Can Stress Cause High Blood Pressure?
Learn how stress can cause high blood pressure and what you can do to lower your high blood pressure. High blood pressure caused by stress or anxiety can be reversed with natural techniques to lower your high pressure and improve your health. A doctor told someone that she had high blood pressure also known as hypertension because of stress. Dr Ekberg explains why high blood pressure is related to stress, what stress is, how to reduce stress, and how stress and high blood pressure is related. Learn how to relieve stress and how to reduce stress so you won't have high blood pressure spikes. The video has tips on how to reduce your stress and anxiety naturally so you can heal and be healthy. Don't let heart disease or hypertension take over your health, take action and lower blood pressure naturally. I got a question here and she said that the cardiologist said that her (heart) piping her (heart) plumbing was all fine but that stress was causing the problem. And yes that is true but we need to understand more about what stress is stress is not just having too much to do and not enough time that is indeed stress but stress is anything that can interfere with the body anything that can activate or over activate the sympathetic nervous system and anything that prevents that nervous system from finding the natural balance so again for getting rid of stress is not the solution because the world is still going to be there. We can't turn the world off. What we can do we can some what... we can selectively reduce stress by changing our lifestyle a little bit but more than that what we really want to do is help the body deal with the stress better it's a physiological problem in addition to just the emotional stress so people think of stress and they say oh yeah I have too much to do but it's it's the emotional stress and the chemical stress and the structural stress it all interferes and then we do something else in this office that takes a little more explaining but it's it's basically about how the autonomic nervous system how flexible and how good is it and regulating does it tend to get stuck or is it confused and all of those factors can involve those stressors that we mentioned the scars and the metals and so on so yes stress is a big problem it is often the initiator but we can't just look at that and ignore all the other things. To know more visit http://www.completenaturecure.com/four-simple-mudras-controls-high-blood-pressure/ Four simple mudras for high blood pressure High blood pressure or hypertension is one of the most dangerous health disorder. This disease is a result of our modern lifestyle. The fast pace of life and the urban environments give rise to psychological tensions. Mental worries and stress increase the adrenaline in the bloodstream, and this results in a pressure of the blood to rise. You can go ahead and check my other post on remedies for high blood pressure High blood pressure or Hypertension Hypertension (known in Ayurveda as Rakta Gata Vata) is arterial hypertension in the arteries. The increase in blood pressure depends on age, gender, physical and mental activity, family history and diet. The normal blood pressure of a healthy adult is 120 mmHg systolic and 80 mmHg diastolic. Causes of high blood pressure Unhealthy diet and lack of exercise are the leading causes of hypertension today. Most foods we eat, fast food or items packed with preservatives and chemicals cause digestive problems in the body. Damaged digestion leads to the accumulation of ama (toxins), leading to hypertension. The food we eat is digested by our digestive fire (Jatharagni) to produce nutritious plasma. This plasma nourishes all other dhatus (body tissues) and helps produce healthy blood that circulates through multiple channels (srotas) in the body. However, as digestion worsens, the nutritive plasma stops producing digestive impurities or cravings. This mistress mingles with the plasma and turns it into sama (combined with ama) or massive. As a result, the blood thus produced becomes so heavy or sticky. This heavy blood (laden with impurities) flows through multiple channels and toxins begin to accumulate in the weakest channels of the body. When they gather in the heart tubes, these toxins cause the narrowing of the channels. Therefore, the blood must exert more pressure to flow through these channels, resulting in the condition of hypertension. Stress, anxiety and negative mental feelings also cause a rise in blood pressure. Other causes include the history of blood pressure in the family, obesity, physical inactivity, eating a high-fat and low-fiber diet, over-consumption of tea, coffee, and refined foods, etc. SYMPTOMS Neck pain (occipital headache) palpitations Dizziness or dizziness fatigue Ayurveda approach towards High blood pressure The Ayurvedic treatment line for hypertension aims to identify the cause of the disease and then administer herbs that can eradicate the root problem. To achieve this, digestion must be improved, and the digestive fire strengthened. Second, the toxins that have already accumulated in the channels of the heart must be eliminated. Finally, mental relaxation techniques, including meditation, yoga, and pranayama, are recommended to ensure that the mind remains calm and stable. Diet and lifestyle tips Avoid meat, eggs, table salt, cucumbers, tea, and coffee. Avoid smoking because it increases your heart rate. Increase the use of garlic, lemon, parsley, Indian gooseberry (Amla), watermelon, grapefruit, skim milk and cottage cheese. Regular exercise is the best ways to lower blood pressure; Fast walking, jogging, swimming, and athletics are good options. Laughter is the best solution because it relieves the stress and anxiety that is the primary cause of high blood pressure in today’s lifestyle.

In fact, simple diet and lifestyle changes you can adopt can help balance your cholesterol levels just as good if not better than medication--and all without any nasty side effects. In this video, we are going to mention 7 top ways on how to lower blood pressure naturally just by doing a few lifestyle changes. No 1: Shed off some extra pounds. High blood pressure is linked directly with increased body weight. As you keep on putting weight, your blood pressure will rise as well. So if you're overweight, you’ll have to loose some weight first to help lower blood pressure. Studies have shown that waistline measurements are also linked with a risk of developing blood pressure in both males and females. If you are a male, your waistline should measure no more than 40 inches whereas if you are a female, your waist measurement should be up to 35 inches. Keep in mind that ideal waist sizes vary depending on your ethnic group so ask your doctor about it first. No 2: Decrease your salt intake. Doctors often tell their high blood pressure patients to reduce their salt intake and there is a good reason for that. Excess consumption of sodium can raise significantly blood pressure. While completely eliminating salt from your diet is not recommended, experts say that you should consume in general less than 2.300 milligrams per day of salt. Pay attention to food labels and choose low sodium options or avoid adding excess salt over your meals. No 3: Take omega-3 fatty acids. When it comes to fats, there are fats that are bad for you and there are fats that are actually beneficial for your health. Omega-3 fatty acids, typically found in fish oil, can help balance both your cholesterol and blood pressure levels as they decrease inflammation in the body. No 4: Consume magnesium rich foods. Magnesium is another nutrient that has been shown to help fight inflammation and help balance blood pressure. You can take sufficient amounts of magnesium from fatty fish, seafood, spinach, avocados, kefir, pumpkin seeds, whole grains, beans, and nuts. No 5: Exercise. Exercise helps circulation and has been found to keep blood pressure balanced as a result. Just 20 minutes of mild exercising daily are enough to keep your blood pressure under control. No 6: Meditate. Meditation not only helps your relax from a stressful day, it helps lower blood pressure as well, especially when your blood pressure seems to spike at times when you are stressed. Last but not least, stop smoking. Smokers have been found in studies to be at higher risk of developing hypertension. The smoke of the cigarettes can temporarily spike your blood pressure levels even though it doesn’t cause long-term hypertension long-term on its own. Doctors can prescribe medications for worst-case scenarios but they usually recommend lifestyle changes as the first steps for fighting high blood pressure. Lifestyle changes can make a significant impact on the individual's health while also decreasing their dependencies on medications if they are using them. In addition, there are several natural methods that a patient can use to reduce their high blood pressure over time. 1) Get More Exercise: People who regularly participate in aerobic exercise for at least 30 minutes a day can drop their systolic blood pressure by three to five points. Exercise also helps build endurance and contributes to an overall healthy lifestyle. 2) Increase Your Potassium: Increasing the amount of potassium intake helps with high blood pressure. Eating excess amounts of salt can raise blood pressure substantially but increasing potassium intake reduces the salt's influence on the body. There are many foods that are high in potassium including baked potatoes with skin, bananas, orange juice, and a variety of yogurts. 3) Limit Salt Consumption: People who are diagnosed with high blood pressure need to avoid consuming excess salt. It is recommended that people with hypertension only consume about 600 milligrams of sodium a day. They should also try to eat whole foods as much as possible since most processed foods contain excess sodium. Grocery shopping instead of eating out provides a great opportunity to check the nutrition labels on food. 4) Quit Smoking: Smoking does not directly affect hypertension, but it does cause a temporary spike in people's blood pressure. Factors such as excessive alcohol consumption and minimal exercise also contribute to high blood pressure. Quitting smoking and limiting alcohol consumption help people better regulate their blood pressure. 5) Shed the Extra Weight: Losing weight not only improves self-confidence in people, but it also helps them lower their blood pressure. Excess weight causes the heart to work so blood pressure rises. Over time consistently high blood pressure can damage the heart and create lifelong problems. Having a healthy weight provides people with the ability to enjoy a healthier lifestyle while keeping their blood pressure under control. 6) Drink Less Alcohol: If somebody is drinking more than two drinks a day, they significantly impact their blood pressure and body in a negative way. It is recommended that women have only one drink a day and men should only have two drinks a day. Drinking more than this can be harmful and have long-term consequences. 7) Learn Stress Management Techniques: There are many ways an individual can manage stress but some ways are more effective than others. Research in New Delhi has discovered that yoga and breathing exercises have a significant impact on reducing overall blood pressure. Meditation helps to reduce stress and lowers blood pressure, helping improve overall health. However, the best recommendation for people struggling with stress related high blood pressure is to discover what stress-management techniques work for them. Learning to manage stress can be done using healthy outlets like meditation, writing, therapy and group activities. 8) Cut Out Caffeinated Beverages: Caffeine is similar to smoking in that it can cause short-term spikes in blood pressure. One way to find out if somebody is sensitive to caffeine is to check their blood pressure before they have a caffeinated beverage, and then again about an hour after. If their blood pressure spikes significantly, they're sensitive to caffeine and they should think twice about having it. Many drinks such as coffee and tea have decaf options so people with caffeine sensitivities can enjoy these popular beverages without risking their health. Lowering blood pressure can be difficult but consulting a doctor and finding the cause is the first step to managing high blood pressure. Changing diets, exercise, and other lifestyle changes are just some of the ways blood pressure can be controlled. A blood pressure of 140/90 (150/90 in those who are 60 years of age and older) or greater is considered high. [2] You can avoid high blood pressure by eating a healthy diet, staying fit, and managing stress 1 Incorporate vegetables, fruits, whole grains and low-fat dairy products into your daily diet. Certain nutrients have been found to help prevent high blood pressure: potassium, calcium, magnesium, and omega-3s. There is no need to take supplements of these nutrients if you have a well-balanced diet.[3] Potassium: Good sources of potassium include winter squash, sweet potatoes, and yogurt.[4] Calcium: Surprising sources of calcium include white beans, canned salmon and dried figs.[5] Magnesium: Almonds, cashew, and tofu are all great sources of magnesium.[6] Omega-3s: Excellent sources of omega-3s include tuna, walnuts, and broccoli 2 Decrease the amount of salt you consume. To reduce salt consumption, read food labels closely and cut back on processed and restaurant foods. Also, use spices and herbs as seasoning instead of salt. More than 75% of the salt consumed is in restaurant and processed foods. Dietary guidelines state that everyone over the age of 2 should consume less than 2,300 mg of salt daily. Some groups of people should reduce their intake to 1,500 mg a day, including those who are 51 years of age or older, of African American descent, or have high blood pressure, diabetes, or chronic kidney disease. 3 Reduce your alcohol intake. Experts recommend that two drinks per day for men (one drink for men who are 65 and older) and one drink per day for women of any age are acceptable alcohol consumption levels. While having more than three drinks in one sitting can raise your blood pressure temporarily, long-term increases occur with continued binge drinking.[9] Scale back your alcohol consumption or substitute an alcoholic beverage for a non-alcoholic one. One drink is considered to be 12 ounces (355 ml) of beer, 5 ounces (148 ml) of wine or 1.5 ounces (44 ml) of 80-proof distilled spirits 4 Limit your caffeine intake. Studies show that caffeine can cause instant blood pressure spikes.[11] It’s recommended to drink no more than two cups (200 ml) of coffee per day. Other significant sources of caffeine include chocolate, soda, and energy drinks. All should be consumed in smaller quantities as well

Nevertheless for some, it is much better than high blood pressure. Many people who have low bloodstream pressure are healthy and have no signs related to lower than normal readings. Yet for others it can cause feeling giddy and fainting or it can also indicate serious heart, endocrine or nerve disorders. Low stress is simply a condition where a person's blood pressure is much lower than typical. It is also called hypotension or syncope, which points to fainting. This can cause symptoms such as dizziness or lightheadedness. Low blood pressure happens when the flow of blood is too low to offer enough oxygen and nutrients to essential internal organs, including the brain, heart, and kidney; the organs do not function normally and may be permanently destroyed. It should be mentioned that unlike high bloodstream pressure, which is described on the basis of blood pressure alone, low blood pressure is identified generally by signs and symptoms of low bloodstream flow. In fact, a lot of people may have a stress of 90/50 and have no signs or symptoms of low stress, and, therefore, not have low blood pressure symptoms. Other folks who normally have a blood pressure of 130/80 may develop hypertension blood pressure lower your blood pressure lower blood pressure immediately how to control blood pressure normal blood pressure level low blood pressure readings treatment for low blood pressure how to prevent high blood pressure effects of low blood pressure blood pressure high blood pressure during pregnancy chronic hypertension causes for low blood pressure foods that reduce blood pressure low blood pressure high pulse what raises blood pressure sudden high blood pressure natural remedies to lower blood pressure risks of high blood pressure lower diastolic blood pressure Orthostatic hypotension is another common form of low blood pressure. This kind of comes from an unexpected change in body position. It happens usually from prone and moving to an upright position. In fact, low stress in healthy people without symptoms or body damage needs no treatment. All patients with symptoms possibly due to low stress should be considered by a doctor. People who have had a major drop in bloodstream pressure from their normal levels even without the development of symptoms also should be examined. Your doctor needs to identify the cause of the reduced blood vessels pressure since treatment will rely upon the cause. Low stress is not as treacherous as high bloodstream pressure. For people who have hypotension, sufficient rest and rest is very important. Also, sleeping in daylight is different from sleeping at night. Persons who have night careers make it a point to sleep during day. Even if you have sufficient sleep low blood vessels pressure still arises. If perhaps you have low blood vessels pressure it is recommended that you have regular the consumption of flat iron to avoid anemia or other disorders that are caused by low blood vessels pressure. Consult your doctor at once if you ever feel dizzy, have chest pains, shortness of breath, and an abnormal heartbeat, fever higher than 101 degrees, headache, and stiff neck or severe spine pain.

Causes of fluctuating blood pressure
https://tinyurl.com/y8qypf6q Clicking the link, you'll learn three easy exercises so effective that even if you have suffered from life-threatening hypertension for years, you can bring it down to 120/80 – as soon as TODAY! Causes of fluctuating blood pressure 1. White coat hypertension This term describes blood pressure that is higher at the doctor's office, often because the person is anxious about the appointment. A study published in 2013 concluded that people with white coat hypertension should be monitored for heart disease risk factors, especially abnormal blood sugar levels. White coat hypertension is not necessarily as concerning as blood pressure that is consistently high. A 2016 meta-analysis published in the Journal of Hypertension found that people with white coat hypertension had a lower risk of heart disease and a better outlook than people with lasting hypertension. 2. Medications Certain medications can temporarily reduce blood pressure. They include: • diuretics • beta-blockers and other heart medications • tricyclic antidepressants • medications for high blood pressure, especially if the dose is too high • medications for Parkinson's disease • medications for erectile dysfunction, especially if taken with nitroglycerine 3. Emotional upset, anxiety, and stress Strong emotions, particularly stress and anxiety, can cause blood pressure to spike. This is the body's natural response to a stressful event, and the pressure will eventually return to normal as the person calms down. However, long-term stress and untreated anxiety can have lasting, harmful effects on blood pressure and overall health. 4. Temperature Being in a warm room or taking a hot bath can temporarily lower blood pressure. This is usually not a cause for concern, as long as blood pressure does not dip too low. Symptoms of dangerously low blood pressure include dizziness, nausea, and fainting. 5. Street drugs Cocaine and methamphetamine can cause extreme spikes in blood pressure. --------------------------------------- Please help Health Care For You raise the vibrations and SHARE this video with your family and friends. --------------------------------------- FOR MORE VIDEOS LIKE THIS ONE SUBSCRIBE TO THIS CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQXsWT3iRjeaw1w7IXcvRaQ

High blood pressure: Drinking this every day drink could raise your BP reading
If you're new, Subscribe! → https://bit.ly/2sH1zbw  High blood pressure is a reading over 140/90 mmHg, which can be measured by your GP or with an at-home blood pressure monitor. You can find out your blood pressure by measuring the levels in both arms using a monitor. Several items in your diet can raise blood pressure, including eating too much salt. Drinking caffeine-laden drinks, such as coffee, can also raise your blood pressure. The Mayo Clinic says you should test your blood pressure 30 minutes after drinking a beverage containing caffeine, to find out whether it had an effect.  “Caffeine can cause a short, but dramatic increase in your blood pressure, even if you don’t have high blood pressure,” said the Mayo Clinic online. “It’s unclear what causes this spike in blood pressure, but it can raise levels by up to 10 mmHg.” “However, if you drink coffee regularly you may experience little or no effect on your blood pressure from caffeine.” The Mayo Clinic says that if your blood pressure has been raised by five to 10 mmHg after drinking caffeine, you may be sensitive to its blood pressure raising effects. “Talk to your doctor about the effects of caffeine on your blood pressure,” they added. Although drinking caffeine-laden drinks can raise your blood pressure, this is only temporary and is unlikely to cause long term problems.  The NHS said online if you want to reduce your BP reading, you should “cut down on caffeine”. “Drinking more than four cups of coffee a day may increase your blood pressure,” said the national healthcare provider. “If you’re a big fan of coffee, tea or other caffeine-rich drinks, such as cola and some energy drinks, consider cutting down. “It’s fine to drink tea and coffee as part of a balanced diet. “However, it’s important that these drinks are not your main or only source of fluid.” There is evidence caffeine may block hormones which widen arteries and causes more adrenaline to be released, both of which can an increase in your blood pressure. Caffeine is found in several drinks including coffee, tea and fizzy beverages. Cutting the substance out of your diet could help lower your blood pressure. You can also achieve this by adding certain foods to your diet. Eating more kiwifruit is one way to help reduce blood pressure.
