Human Organs System song (to the Cup song)
You gotta know this for Biology class
The Human Organ Structure Systems
And to start it off let's begin
With the Nervous System
System, System. It's the Nervous System
With the brain, spinal cord, nerves and
The sensory organs. Onto the functions.
It coordinates the body's response
To changes in its environment.
Both internal and external
But not only that, it helps with the
Muscular, Muscular System too.
Skeletal muscle, smooth muscle, cardiac muscle
Works with the skeletal system to
Produce involuntary movement, helps circulate
blood, and move food.
Now we're onto the Digestive System.
Mouth, pharynx, esophagus,
Stomach, small and large intestines.
It converts foods, into simpler molecules
That can be used by the cells of the
Body, and it also absorbs food.
Now the Excretory System,
It eliminates waste products
Of metabolism from the body
And maintains homeostasis.
Used in the skin, lungs, urethra, and
Urinary bladder too.
Also in, the ureters,
And you can't forget about the kidneys.
Now onto more systems
Such as the Integumentary System
Yeah let's do that system.
The Integumentary System serves as
a barrier against infection.
Helps to regulate body temp.
And protects against ultraviolet rays.
In the skin, nails, sweat, and hair
Also in the oil glands. But hey enough of
That, let's keep moving on, oh,
To the Reproductive System.
Don't laugh at this next system
Because it produces reproductive cells
In the testes, and the ovaries but not
In the penis, epididymis, vagina,
And fallopian tubes.
In females, the uterus nurtures and
Protects developing embryo.
See that wasn't so bad,
Which I admit I'm glad.
Now onto the Respiratory System.
Provides oxygen needed for cellular respiration.
Removes excess carbon dioxide from the
body. What about the structure, you say?
The nose, pharynx,
Trachea and larynx.
And you can't forget about the bronchi,
Now onto something oddly called
The Lymphatic System.
It helps protect the body
Collects fluid lost from blood vessels and
returns the fluid to the circulatory system.
It's in white, blood cells,
Thymus, spleen, lymph nodes.
And lastly in the lymph vessels but let's head onto
The next one, Circulatory System.
It brings oxygen and nutrients
And hormones to cells.
Fights infection and regulates
Your body's temperature.
It's structure is, the heart, and
Blood, and blood vessels.
only two more systems to go
Until we're finally through, oh
Onto the Endocrine System.
Controls growth and development,
Metabolism and reproduction.
It's used in the thyroid, adrenals, ovaries,
And testes, and the pancreas too.
Also in hypothalamus and pituitary.
We only got one more to go.
Our last one has the bones, cartilage,
Tendons and ligaments.
It's known as the Skeletal System.
It supports the body.
Protects internal organs, allows movements
And stores mineral reserves.
Now we're done, yes we're done.
Yeah we're finally done.
All eleven have been named and it's over,
Such a shame.
But I need a 70% to pass.
