5 Signs Of Vitamin Deficiency That Can be Seen On Your Face Instantly

03:09
Here are five signs of vitamin deficiencies that can be seen on your face: 1. Puffy Eyes. Do your eyes look extra puffy in the morning? Puffy eyes often indicate that you’re not getting enough sleep, but they can also be sign of low iodine levels in the body. Eat This: Cranberries, yogurt, kelp, potatoes, strawberries and navy beans. 2. Extremely Pale Skin. You might notice you’re looking a little pale in the dead of winter, but if your skin has become overly pale, it could be a sign that you’re lacking Vitamin B12. If your body isn’t getting enough B12, you’ll start to feel fatigued and your skin can suffer. Eat This: Salmon, red meat, fortified cereals, yogurt and Swiss cheese. 3. Dry Hair. Has your hair felt extra dry and brittle lately? Have you noticed a large amount of dandruff on your scalp? These could be signs that you’re lacking biotin or Vitamin B7. A biotin deficiency can be the result of using antibiotics. Eat This: Eggs, almonds, nuts, legumes and whole grains. 4. Pale Lips. Pale lips can be a sign that you’re lacking in iron. An iron deficiency can cause your immune system to become weak. If you’re getting sick often, it could be another sign that your body needs more iron. Eat This: Red meat, seafood, beans, dark green leafy vegetables, iron-fortified cereals and peas. 5. Bleeding Gums. If your gums have been bleeding lately, it could indicate a lack of Vitamin C in your body. Without Vitamin C, your immune system can weaken, causing muscle pain and problems with your teeth. Eat This: Oranges, red peppers, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, strawberries and grapefruit.

What Are Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms?

06:05
For more info: https://draxe.com/vitamin-d-deficiency-symptoms/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Apr-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=vitaminddeficiency In this video I’m going to talk about the benefits of vitamin D as well as symptoms of vitamin D deficiency. In certain studies, Americans has been found to be the #1 population in vitamin D deficiency. Some of the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are a weakened immune system, candida or bacterial overgrowth, emotional ups and downs, hormone imbalance, trouble putting on muscle or losing weight, weakened bones or teeth, cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Vitamin D supports having a healthy immune response, digestive health, hormone balance, and more. The biggest causes of vitamin D deficiency are not getting enough sunlight, certain chemicals from plastic bottles (bpa), and toxicity. Try to get outside everyday for about 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. Certain foods that are sources of vitamin D are wild caught fish, raw fermented milk, mushrooms, and eggs. However, there are small amounts in the food you eat. For a good supplement, I would recommend a high quality vitamin D supplement. You don’t want to take vitamin D2, but you do want to take vitamin D3. For supplementation, take about 2000-5000 IUs a day. However, if you have a severe deficiency, then for 1-2 months, you may take 5000 IUs twice daily. Lastly, you want to take your vitamin D3 with some form of fat like coconut oil or avocado to help absorption in your body. 5 Foods That Destroy Your Hormones and Skin

04:06
Once we leave the teenage years, we may think acne is a thing of the past. But later in life, an imbalance of hormones can shake things up and acne takes center stage again. An endocrine imbalance is the culprit responsible for triggering hormonal acne. Women in mid-cycle and/or right before their periods are easy prey. These are the two times a month when estrogen and testosterone spike. These two hormones can accumulate if not properly detoxed. And when estrogen dominates, the complexion is fertile ground where inflamed skin and acne can thrive. Luckily there is a natural solution that may provide relief. The first step is to pay attention to your diet. The food you ingest can disrupt your hormones which in turns, produces inflammation. But on the flip side, the right kinds of food can balance hormones and soothe your skin. In today’s video we’ll examine the foods which work for and against your hormones. Foods to Avoid 1. Soy Soy has been on the suspect list of instigating acne. If you think you are sensitive to soy, try eliminating it from your diet and see if your condition improves. It contains phytoestrogens which can create a hormonal imbalance. 2. Dairy Excess dairy consumption can contribute to a surplus of hormones that can lead to acne. Dairy is also a primary cause for leaky guy syndrome. 3. Gluten Like dairy, Gluten can disrupt hormones. It can create intestinal inflammation and produce a domino effect of health issues. 4. Caffeine Caffeine is a kick-starter for millions every morning. Yet it often comes with a tradeoff. It can take its toll on your skin’s immune response. A steady combination of coffee and tea can strip away many essential vitamins which are essential to maintaining a vibrant complexion. 5. Canola, Sunflower, Safflower and Vegetable Oil If you have acne-prone skin, put these oils on your radar as ones to avoid. They have certain nutrients that can ignite a fire storm on your complexion, especially during peak estrogen days. The Best Foods for Your Complexion 1. Avocados Avocados contain a substance that can bring hormone levels back under control. Adding avocados to your diet can be a natural defense system to ward off inflammation. 2. Turmeric Another spice you may already have in your kitchen cabinets is Turmeric. Besides its natural ability to reduce inflammation, pain and swelling, it’s also a remedy for your skin. 3. Chia Seeds One of the highest sources of omega-3’s in nature can be found in this gluten-free grain. These little marvels can stabilize blood sugar, improve insulin sensitivity and keep blood pressure spikes in check. 4. Cinnamon In your spice rack, you may already have a secret weapon. Cinnamon. This aromatic spice contains anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that help regulate hormones. 5. Pomegranates Mood swings can be tempered by eating Pomegranates. They produce the same estrogens that female ovaries do. They also are rich in anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. -------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: The materials and the information contained on Natural Cures channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. 9 Hormonal Imbalance Signs Everyone Should Know

07:41
Here are the 9 most common symptoms of hormonal imbalance that can negatively affect you. If you suspect that you have any of these symptoms, talk to your doctor immediately! The rhythm of life, with all its stresses and environmental problems, doesn’t let you fully take care of your physical health. Despite this fact, your body and the way you look may be sending you signals about major health concerns that need to be dealt with. We all want to look our best but this doesn’t necessarily have to involve overpriced salon services, cosmetics or exercise. Your own hormones can “speak” for themselves. The development of the human body greatly depends on the function of hormones. These tiny signaling molecules are responsible for our mood, emotions, behavior and even our looks. TIMESTAMPS Acne 1:07 Excess weight 1:47 Fatigue 2:32 Sweating 3:16 Dark circles under the eyes 3:53 Depression 4:39 Breast changes 5:24 Hair loss 5:59 Unwanted hair 6:37 SUMMARY - Outbreaks of acne can be the result of improper skin care, an unbalanced diet, or your menstrual cycle. However, if acne has become a consistent foe, it’s probably a symptom of a hormonal disorder. - Many people struggle with their weight their whole lives, resisting food cravings and doing exercise; others are thin without any particular effort. Hormone-related problems are most likely to be the culprit of this injustice. - Always feeling tired despite no changes in your habits or environment is a much more serious problem known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which can be a result of hormones that are off balance. - If you have fluctuations in your body temperature, the issue could be both neurological and hormonal. Again, contact a health professional if you feel like you’re experiencing these symptoms. - Chronic insomnia may be the result of testosterone insufficiency in men and progesterone insufficiency in women. The good news is that sleep deficiency due to hormonal imbalance can be cured! - Depression can be another symptom of fluctuating hormone levels. Anxiety and depression can occur just before a woman’s menstrual cycle, during pregnancy, and during menopause. If you’re having more frequent panic attacks and anxiety, talk to an endocrinologist. - Low levels of estrogen can make breast tissue less dense whereas excessively high levels of this hormone can cause lumps or cysts. If you notice any changes in your breasts or you feel any lumps in your breast tissue, consult a doctor immediately. - Excessive hair loss is one of the most common symptoms of hormonal imbalance. Take control of your eyesight and headaches. Worsening vision and frequent headaches may signalize instability in the pituitary gland, the hormone epicenter. Don’t just give up and blame it on stress and hard work. Get yourself checked out! Taking care of your health should be top priority. Know your body and listen to the signals it’s sending to you so that you can be in tip-top shape. Which Foods Can Increase Your Blood Flow & Circulation?

06:59
Do you know which foods, vitamins, minerals, and herbs can help you to increase your blood flow and circulation? Discover why Dr. Sam Robbins, natural health expert, recommends Blood Flow Optimizer™ like one of the solutions: ► http://drsam.co/yt/WhichFoods-BFO *********** Which Foods Can Increase Your Blood Flow & Circulation? ******************** In this video, we will discuss about foods that naturally increase blood flow, thin the blood and improve circulation. Poor circulation, due to fatty plaques and blood clots can slow healing and raise your risk of heart disease, heart attack or stroke. As the saying goes, “you are what you eat”. First thing that you need to do is to reduce or eliminate animal protein and fat, sugar intake and to eliminate all caffeine beverages because caffeine constricts your blood vessels and increases the stress hormone, cortisol. Then, you should focus on eating more natural whole grains, sweet potatoes, fruits, vegetables, legumes, fish and nuts. Also, you need to drink lots of purified water to increase your blood flow and volume. There are lots of foods that can slightly help increase blood flow, but the following 3 are by far the best and most effective. 1. Garlic 2. Fish 3. Cayenne Pepper If you want faster results, there are natural supplements and herbs that are super powerful and far more effective than foods in improving your blood flow. Certain vitamins and minerals are also very important. Blood Flow Optimizer™ is utilized by anyone who wants to improve their blood flow and circulation because you want a healthier heart and vascular system, in order to help avoid a heart attack or stroke. The reason for Blood Flow Optimizer™ success is because it’s a complete “All-In-One” proven solution that delivers results QUICKLY. Blood Flow Optimizer™ is the most comprehensive solution because it helps: - Decrease the plaque buildup and increase the openings in the vascular system – so you have better blood flow and circulation. - Strengthen the walls of the arteries and blood vessels, reducing the chance of a rupture or tear. - Inhibit future buildup of plaque and calcium, which can help prevent a heart attack or stroke. Blood Flow Optimizer™ is a complete, "all-in-one" formula without the negative side-effects of drugs, or the need for multiple supplements in order to achieve the same goal — a healthier heart and stronger vascular system. Signs and Symptoms of Iron Deficiency You Should Not Ignore

10:04
10 Signs and Symptoms of Iron Deficiency / anemia symptoms. Iron is an important dietary mineral that is involved in various bodily functions. It is commonly known for aiding the production of hemoglobin, a protein that helps red blood cells deliver oxygen throughout your body. It also acts as a transport medium for electrons to travel within the cells and is needed for many enzymes to function normally. Here are the top 10 signs and symptoms of iron deficiency. review : 01:02 Fatigue and Tiredness 02:06 Shortness of Breath 03:12 Pale Skin 04:06 Brittle Nails 05:11 Hair Loss 06:05 Craving Nonfood Substances 1. Fatigue and Tiredness Fatigue and tiredness are common in people who have a low iron level. Iron is important for maintaining optimum levels of hemoglobin, which is the oxygen-carrying chemical in the bloodstream. Lack of oxygen in the body causes constant fatigue and tiredness. A 2000 study published in Quality of Life Research suggests that iron deficiency is associated with decreased general health and well-being and increased fatigue. If you are frequently tired and feeling fatigued, get your blood checked to find out whether you have an iron deficiency. Proper diagnosis and timely treatment will help reduce the symptoms quickly. 2. Shortness of Breath Due to a low iron level, less oxygen reaches different parts of your body. When the body’s oxygen level is low, it will cause shortness of breath, no matter how deeply you breathe. This shortness of breath occurs even while doing things that you’d normally handle just fine, such as climbing the stairs, taking a short walk or even carrying small objects. The breathlessness can be mild, moderate or severe, and breathing often returns to normal after a rest period. If you need to puff for air more often, get your iron level checked to rule out the possibility of this nutrient deficiency. 3. Pale Skin Another common sign associated with iron deficiency is pale skin or a washed-out appearance. Due to a low iron level, your body is unable to manufacture sufficient hemoglobin. It’s the hemoglobin that gives your blood its red color and your skin its rosy hue. As the iron deficiency worsens, your skin begins to lose its normal color and becomes pale. This sign is more prominent in people who have a lighter skin tone. If your skin starts looking paler than usual and you are not sick, consult a doctor to determine the cause. 4. Brittle Nails If your nails look pale, fragile and brittle, it can be a possible sign of iron deficiency. Along with brittle nails, a concave or spoon-shaped depression in the nails can indicate an insufficient iron level in the body. A low iron level hampers your body’s ability to produce enough hemoglobin, which helps carry oxygen throughout your system, including to your nails. This lack of oxygen prohibits the healthy growth of your nails. Apart from nutritional deficiencies, aging, long-term use of nail polish and frequent exposure to water can lead to brittle nails. 5. Hair Loss There are many possible causes for hair loss and iron deficiency is one of them. A low iron level sends your body into survival mode, during which it channels oxygen to support vital functions as opposed to less important functions like hair growth. In fact, women with iron deficiency are at a risk of telogen hair loss, according to a 2009 study published in Acta Dermatovenerologica Croatica. To find out whether an iron deficiency is the cause of your hair loss, it is important to measure the amount of ferritin in the blood. 6. Craving Nonfood Substances Pica is a condition in which a person has an unusual craving for non nutritive substances that can cause significant health risks. This condition can be sign of a low level of iron or other nutrients in the body. In a 2010 study published in the Journal of Medical Case Reports, experts considered pica an important sign of iron deficiency that should never be ignored. A recent 2014 study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that pregnant teens with significantly lower iron levels had cravings for ice, cornstarch, vacuum dust, baby powder, soap and other nonfood items. If you are craving nonfood items, bring it to the attention of your doctor to find out the exact reason behind it. Music: Royalty Free Music from Bensound

7 Powerful Benefits of B12 Shots you Probably Didn’t Know

14:46
As many as up to 40-50% of the US population has suboptimal levels of B12 in their body. That means that there is a high chance you may be suffering from B12 deficiency and may respond to B12 supplementation. In this video, I will walk you through the benefits of using B12 shots over oral formulations such as tablets, capsules, and sublingual B12. In my opinion, B12 shots provide a more immediate response to B12 deficiency and may help a number of people. The benefits of B12 shots include: #1. Increase in energy levels and a reduction in fatigue - B12 is required in the production of ATP in the mitochondria. Low B12 is associated with fatigue and can be treated with B12 shots. #2. Increase in metabolism - B12 may help increase your metabolism by increasing the amount of energy that you produce and burn. #3. Assistance with weight loss - While B12 doesn't directly lead to weight loss by itself, it can help you increase your energy and promote weight loss indirectly. #4. Increase in sleeping and circadian rhythm - B12 deficiency has been associated with insomnia and other sleep problems. If you are deficient in B12 you may notice an improvement when using it. #5. Reduction in depression and an increase in concentration - B12 deficiency may cause brain fog, decreased concentration, and difficulty paying attention. Using B12 may improve these symptoms. #6. Boost to immune function #7. Increase in hair growth and may stop hair loss - B12, along with other nutrients, is involved in the hair growth cycle. Low b12 may precipitate hair loss in certain individuals. These benefits come from using methylcobalamin B12 shots or injections. If you decide to get B12 shots, make sure you get the methylcobalamin form and not the cyanocobalamin form. Methylcobalamin comes pre-methylated and is easier to activate and utilize by your body. B12 shots seem to work better for some people, especially those with hypothyroidism, especially when compared to oral formulations and even sublingual formulations of B12. You can inject B12 shots subcutaneously meaning you don't have to use a large needle. Learn more about these benefits in this video. More information in the video and the full blog post can be found here: https://www.restartmed.com/benefits-of-b12-shots/ You can read more on my website here: https://www.restartmed.com/ This video is not intended to be used as medical advice. Can Deficiency of Vitamin B12 be Damaging?

01:11
How to find out whether you are deficient in vitamin B12? You will find yourself feeling very tired, feeling lazy, tingling in the nerves or a feeling of numbness occasionally. If you have been undetected for a longer period of time it might cause severe memory loss with a loss in concentration, neurological damage and other side effects also follow nerve damage, insomnia, etc. Alcohol is one of the reasons that might decrease the absorption of vitamin B12. Including animal protein like lean meat, fish, milk, cheese are good sources of vitamin B12. || Truweight || Download this unique Truweight weight loss mobile app from App stores: Link for Android Mobile App - https://goo.gl/7ESkPu Link for iOS Mobile App - https://goo.gl/5oa8TU Drop by our centers for free health consultation with our experts. https://truweight.in/free-consultation/ Do try with our home consultation package @ https://truweight.in/home-consultation/ Want to know about how to lose weight by eating more, log on here; Website: http://truweight.in/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/truweight Blog: http://truweight.in/blog/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/truweight

How can folate mask a vitamin B12 deficiency?

How does a vitamin B12 deficiency affect important functions in the body? If someone eats a plant based diet that is abundant in folate, can this affect the size of their red blood cells and how does this relate to vitamin B12 testing? The information in this video is a summary and is by no means complete, which is true with research in general. It characterizes the fascinating nature of inquiry - there is much that is currently known and much that has yet to be known. Is Coffee Bad for You?

05:11
For more info: https://draxe.com/coffee-nutrition-facts/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Jan-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=coffee One of the most common questions I’ve been getting recently is, “Is coffee bad for you?” The answer is, yes … and no. Coffee is beneficial because it contains massive amounts of antioxidants, which help slow the aging process and protect you from free radical damage. Coffee also helps stimulate the liver and increases circulation, helping blood flow to the brain. Coffee can be harmful in some ways because of the amount of caffeine it contains. The caffeine in coffee can overstimulate the body, burn out your adrenal glands, and overtax your body. About 80% of people in the world will struggle with thyroid problems or fatigue issues. For this group, I wouldn’t recommend coffee because it will burn out your adrenal glands. However, if you’re generally healthy, then drinking coffee in moderate amounts can be fine, and even good for your health. I wouldn’t recommend drinking coffee past lunch time because it can affect your sleep cycle that night. Depending on the condition of your body, if you’re suffering from an autoimmune disease, coffee can make your disease worse. If you’re pretty healthy, looking for a pick-me-up, or looking for more antioxidants, then coffee can provide you these benefits. When picking out your coffee beans, I would recommend choosing all natural, organic coffee because it’s one of the most highly sprayed plants in the world. Lastly, if you’re looking for a great substitute for coffee, I would suggest drinking matcha green tea because it has great benefits and one-third the amount of caffeine. *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. How Much Vitamin C is Too Much? | How Much Vitamin C Can I Take | Best Form of Vitamin C

06:31
How much vitamin C is too much? One thing to remember is that if you have been taking the right forms of vitamin C, there has been no one who has come down with vitamin C toxicity, no adverse health claim has been accepted by all natural and allopathic health professionals, no child has been hospitalized because of vitamin C overdose, like other forms of synthetic drugs. ==================================== Support Us On Patreon: http://bit.ly/2wFag54 ==================================== The fact is we have to look at what time of vitamin C we are talking about. We can’t just generalize all vitamin C in one group and say well taking too much vitamin C is not good for you. Are we talking about synthetic forms of vitamin c, are we talking about fruit based vitamin C, like acerola, kiwi and oranges, are we talking about vitamin c supplementations that come with other additives and preservatives? In today’s over-toxify world, with its pesticides, aluminum , GMOs, plastics and the rest of it taking high doses of a powerful anti-oxidant like vitamin C on a daily bases not only is NOT harmful but is absolutely essential. We can group vitamin c into 3 different categories. I will go over them and leave the links in the description for you guys to check out. ==== 1. Oral Vitamin C in Pure Powder ===== Sodium Ascorbate: http://amzn.to/1U5wTsJ Ascorbic Acid: http://amzn.to/1pA5d2E Almost all of vitamin C supplements will have about 20% absorption at best. There are two forms of vitamin C that have been extensively researched and have enough clinical evidence to prove that they absolutely safe with no harmful side effects when taken in oral forms. And these are Asocrbic acid and Sodium ascorbate, which I recommend.... and you will have no health problems with them. You see, vitamin c in general is a water soluble supplement that means your guts can only retain a certain amount at a given time. If you take too much of it at one time it will just pass through your guts as loose stool which is medically called “vitamin C flush”. Everyone has a different vitamin C flush. Someone may hit flush at 5 Hitting vitamin C flush is not a bad thing, actually Dr. Thomas Levy (one of the world’s leading Vitamin C researcher) says that is not necessary a bad thing, it’s actually a good thing. He recommends people hit vitamin C flush a couple of times a week to clean out their guts. Basically you want to take either Ascorbic Acid or Sodium Ascorbate in pure powder form with no additives, colors or sweeteners. Just look at the back of the product and make sure that it’s just  that. The products I use are usually from Now foods, which I found to be relatively of quality. I personally recommend Sodium asocrobate over Ascorbic Asci, simply because it an alkaline form of vitamin C, and it lasts in the blood stream about 3 times longer. Start with a couple of grams in water or a juice and build up after a few hours or day by day until you hid vitamin C flush. Don’t worry nothing will happen, you will just a get a semi-loose to loose stool or bowel movement. After you find out what flush amount simply cut back a gram or 2 and keep having your mega doses of vitamin c everyday and your body will thank you for it and you will be happier and healthier. ==== IV vitamin C ==== This is great form of vitamin C for anyone who is suffering from a chronic condition including cancer patients, heart patients, people with diabetes etc. For this form of vitamin C, the recommendation is to go see a naturopath or a medical personal who is certified to administer IV. ==== Liposomal Vitamin C === http://amzn.to/1Uj4GgS By far the best form of vitamin C is Liposomal encapsulated Vitamin C. This is a 21st century technology of turning water soluble vitamin C in to fat soluble, which has gained a lot of attention. Basically, by encapsulating water soluble vitamin C molecules in lipid (or fat) molecules, it has given us the ability to take vitamin C orally and have an amazing absorption of nearly 99%. ==== Vitamin C Safety ==== http://lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/vitamins/vitamin-C ==== SUBSCRIBE HERE ==== https://goo.gl/RzVkxo ========================= Other inquires: different types of vitamin C, different vitamin c, different vitamin c supplements, different kinds of vitamin c, Best Type of Vitamin C, What is the Best Vitamin C, Best Form of Vitamin C, How Much Vitamin C is Too Much, Most Bioavailable Form of Vitamin C, Signs of Too Much Vitamin C, Can Too Much Vitamin C Be Harmful, How Much Vitamin C is Needed Daily, How Much Vitamin C Can I Take, Adult How Much Vitamin C A Day, Vitamin C Overdose Side Effects How much vitamin C Dr. Levy recommends

DRINK This Everyday To PEE OUT More Toxins! BOOST KIDNEY HEALTH & IMPROVE KIDNEY FUNCTION Naturally

11:32
10 Ways To Improve Kidney Function Naturally http://bit.ly/2ouONK5. Do These Everyday To PEE OUT More Toxins. There is a saying I love: “Spirit is simple, the Mind makes things complex”, and for me it is no different with healing. Your body wants to heal, there is nothing that it wants to do more; it was designed to heal. Improving Your Kidney Function Can Be Simple So you see for many, improving kidney function doesn’t need to be difficult. In most cases, simply by stepping to the side and getting out of your own way, checking your thoughts, fears, and excuses at the door, you can catalyse massive changes in your health, by simply allowing the healing to take place. Rubbing Lanterns Won’t Help Improve Your Kidney Function, But Here’s What Can… Now stay with me… I am not saying that that you can cure all by thinking just happy thoughts, wishing, and “getting out of the way”, no definitely not. There are many practical things you can do every day, with little to no fuss that are very effective in helping increase kidney function. Very helpful indeed. Note: thinking positive however sure won’t hurt, in fact it will go along way; your mindset is the single biggest determining factor on how quickly you heal. … So in tune with today’s theme of simplicity, I would like to share with you 10 effortless tips that can be applied immediately to help your kidney function http://bit.ly/2ovicDZ, no need to leave home, and no need to spend a dime. How To Improve Kidney Function In 10 Easy Steps OK, let’s begin shall we? 1. The Water Hydration Technique: You know how most of us generally go for long periods without water, become thirsty (and dehydrated) and scull the next available glass in about 30 seconds? Have you ever thought what this does to your body? No? I don’t blame you. The actual fact of the matter is that every time you a drink a glass of water (or any fluid) in a hurry, you are placing pressure on kidney function. How? Well, seeing as one of the functions of the kidneys is to keep the fluid levels in the blood stream balanced, by drinking a full glass of water at once you are essentially dumping a large amount of water into the blood stream, which the kidneys now need to balance out (i.e. increase urine production). By drinking slowly, a mouthful at a time, you reduce the pressure on the kidneys and increase hydration. Sound too simple to do any good? Good. Now try it. 2. Sunshine: As you are probably aware, when sunlight touches the skin, light sensitive receptor cells are activated to produce the active form of vitamin D. Vitamin D has many benefits in the body, the main benefits being: cancer prevention, immune system enhancement, bone health, and regulation of phosphorus and calcium levels (which is important in kidney disease). Did you know then that one of the key functions of kidneys is to active vitamin D too? True. By spending just 15 mins a day under the light of the sun, you can let the sun and your skin do all the work. Your kidneys will be saved the extra work, and at the same time you get to enjoy the open air. The other important thing to note is that if your kidney function has deteriorated too far, then your kidneys will not be able to produce enough active vitamin D anyway, making sunshine all the more necessary. Low levels have been linked to diabetes, kidney disease, cancer, and heart disease. People experiencing kidney disease, coupled with low vitamin D levels, have a 26 percent greater risk of dying than those with sufficient levels of vitamin D. Have your vitamin D levels tested with your next visit at your doctors: Optimal reference range for healthy individuals: – US measurement: 50 to 70 ng/mL – World measurement: 125 to 175 nmol/L Optimal reference range for treating heart disease, cancer, and kidney disease: – US measurement:70 to 80 ng/mL – World measurement: 175 to 200 nmol/L Is the sun shining where you are right now? If yes, jump outside! 3. Juicing: Juicing is a favourite kidney function treatment of mine; it’s cheap, and it is easy to do. Vegetables just like herbs contain not only vitamin and minerals that we are all familiar with, but also contain nutrients known as phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are simply ‘nutrients’ (chemical compounds) derived from plants that are produced by the plant to aid in its survival, including: chemical messengers, structure, protection from harmful organisms, protection from insects, or even attracting pollinating insects. The interesting thing with phytonutrients however, is that although these chemicals were made specific for the plant, by some miraculous way, these natural chemicals lend themselves perfectly to other organisms e.g. Humans.

12 Ways Your Body Tries To Tell You That Your Liver Is Being Damaged

04:55
12 Ways Your Body Tries To Tell You That Your Liver Is Being Damaged The liver is the largest solid organ in your body. It is located in the right upper quadrant of your abdomen and partly protected by the ribs. You need your liver for many important bodily functions and cannot live without your liver. For this reason, you should know the early signs of liver damage and take care of your liver as much as you possibly can. There are more than a hundred different kinds of diseases of the liver. Each has its own set of symptoms. Some of these diseases include alcoholic liver disease, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and cirrhosis of the liver. The early signs of liver disease tend to be easily overlooked and are non-specific, related to any number of different conditions. Here are some common early signs. 1. Upset Stomach You are likely to get nausea and vomiting. They can mimic other diseases, such as migraines, food poisoning, vertigo, motion sickness, early pregnancy, depression and vomiting. It can mimic kidney problems as well. Those who suffer from early liver damage often feel persistently nauseous, because the liver has a decreased ability to rid the body of toxins. The nausea can also be due to ongoing metabolism and changes in digestion. If you have these symptoms for several days and don’t know why, seek the attention of your doctor. 2. Fatigue and Overall Weakness One of the early and obvious signs of liver damage is constantly feeling tired and weak. When the liver is not in great condition, the body must work harder and you will need more rest. This is due to an increase in toxins in the bloodstream that can’t be cleared out because the liver can’t get rid of the toxins properly. If the symptoms persist, especially with other early signs of liver damage, seek medical advice as soon as you can. 3. Lack of Appetite This happens due to a lack of production of bile that helps digest fat in the diet. When food isn’t properly digested, it can lead to a lack of appetite and a severe loss of weight. See your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time. 4. Digestion Problems The liver is important in digestion because it makes bile that helps the nutrients be better processed and absorbed by the small intestines. If the liver is failing, you can develop an increase in indigestion and diarrhea. If the bile is not produced properly, you can also experience irritable bowel syndrome, fatty food intolerance, alcohol intolerance, abdominal bloating, constipation and gallstones. If this becomes severe, you need to seek the medical attention of a doctor. 5. Alterations in the Color of Urine If you think you are drinking enough but still have a dark color of your urine, this may be one of the early signs of liver damage. The urine may look brown, amber, or orange in color because of elevated levels of bilirubin in the bloodstream. The bilirubin is elevated because the liver cannot get rid of the bilirubin and it is excreted through the kidneys. Dark urine may also be due to dehydration, side effects of taking antibiotics, taking B vitamin supplements, urinary tract infections, enzyme deficiencies or kidney abnormalities. The doctor can help sort out the cause of dark urine. 6. Changes in Stool Coloration Because the bile is not made enough by a malfunctioning liver, the color of the stool changes. Instead of being brown, it can become pale yellow, clay colored, or gray in appearance. If this happens periodically, it is not dangerous, but if it happens often, seek the advice of your doctor to check out your liver. https://youtu.be/VOx8ikPmaos

Reasons for Hair Loss by Sandeep Bhasin at Carewell Medical Centre

00:50
Did you know there’s a strong link between vitamin deficiency and hair loss? If your diet lacks certain nutrients, especially over an extended period of time, it can cause cells like hair follicles to stop working properly. When this occurs, it can interrupt the normal hair growth cycle, preventing follicles from growing new hair and even cause hair loss. Identify the most common signs of vitamin deficiency, and get remedies for vitamin deficiency and hair loss. Hair loss caused by nutritional deficiency is called telogen effluvium. This temporary hair loss condition causes hairs that are ordinarily in the anagen (growth) phase of the hair growth cycle to be prematurely pushed into the telogen (resting) stage, causing the hairs to fall out. Telogen effluvium can be treated over several months by eating more vitamins and minerals for hair growth. 1)Vitamin D and hair loss – Bone pain and muscle weakness could be a sign of vitamin D deficiency. Though lacking this essential vitamin is commonly associated with life-threatening conditions such as cardiovascular disease, cognitive impairment in older adults and even cancer, researchers at Cairo University have now found a strong link between vitamin D deficiency and hair loss among women. 2)Vitamin C – This antioxidant is needed for the growth and repair of many different tissues throughout the body. It forms proteins used to make skin, tendons and blood vessels, it helps heal wounds and form scar tissue. Vitamin C also maintains healthy hair growth because it helps produce red blood cells, which keep hair follicles blood-enriched and vital. 3)Biotin – Beauty experts and devotees know about the connection between biotin and hair loss. Biotin, or vitamin B7 or H, promotes hair growth, thickens hair shafts, and prevents hair loss. If your diet lacks this B vitamin, it can result in thinning hair. Some other signs of biotin deficiency are dry scaly skin, a swollen and painful dark pink tongue, loss of appetite, severe fatigue, depression and insomnia. We at Care Well Medical Centre are helping men and women of all ethnicities with hair loss by using several patented hair loss treatment products and FDA cleared low-level laser hair therapy introduced by HLCC® & other effective therapies. Intermittent Fasting: Top 5 Mistakes- Thomas DeLauer

08:36
Click Here to Subscribe: http://Bit.ly/ThomasVid Website: http://www.thomasdelauer.com Intermittent Fasting: Top 5 Mistakes- Thomas DeLauer… No Healthy Foods: At the end of a fast people will be hungry and, as a result, will make poor decisions on what to eat. Your stomach is like a muscle. When it's filled with large meals three times a day, the dispensability (amount your stomach walls can stretch) increases. When you head in the other direction - eating many small meals throughout the day - your stomach's capacity goes down. Intermittent fasting will make you eat fewer meals, resulting in your stomach shrinking and less caloric intake. People will indulge in a less than healthy meal and feel overly full after – don’t have room for veggies as stomach shrinks. Less Calories: Most people who try intermittent fasting end up cutting weight. You might plan big meals, but consistently eating them is difficult in practice. Even if you tell people that they can eat two large meals at lunch and dinner, they typically end up eating fewer calories than they would at 3 or 4 normal meals. Most people lose weight while intermittent fasting because when they cut out meals, they don't make up for it with bigger meal sizes. Even if you tell people that they can eat two large meals at lunch and dinner, they typically end up eating fewer calories than they would at 3 or 4 normal meals. Creamer: A “fasted state” is merely a definition of a specific metabolic state — no food (calories) whatsoever in the gut. Any food or drink with a caloric value will cause a spike in insulin because insulin is the hormone that regulates whether you store fat or release it. In a fasting state, the metabolism draws a significant amount of its energy from stored fat, any small amount of calories coming in (cream in your coffee, for example) would nudge the body away from metabolizing fat until those calories are used up. Also breaking the long term effects of a fast. By maintaining low levels of insulin throughout your fast, you ensure that the body has a chance to release — and use — fat stores. Enough calories would elicit enough insulin that fat metabolism would diminish, since insulin discourages lipolysis (2) BCAAs: A 2011 study, from the Journal of Nutrition, looked at the effects of branched-chain amino acid supplementation on plasma concentrations of free amino acids, insulin, and energy substrates in a group of men aged 22-25. On the first day, the participants arrived at the laboratory after an overnight fast. A baseline blood samples was acquired and then the subjects consumed the beverage with 1 g of BCAAs. Seven additional blood samples were acquired during the subsequent 3 hrs. Five days later, the same participants repeated the procedure with a beverage containing 5 g BCAAs. Found that plasma insulin levels transiently spiked after BCAA ingestion and spikes in insulin can be detrimental when fasting – halts the fat burnings effect (1) Study Links: For BCAA study: Full Study (Journal of Nutrition): http://jn.nutrition.org/content/136/1/324S.full Summarized versions: http://easacademy.org/research-news/article/effects-of-branched-chain-amino-acid-supplementation-on-plasma-concentrations-of-free-amino-acids-i https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21512300 Drinking Enough Water: When fasting, your body goes through a process known as apoptosis where your body doesn’t have to digest food, so it begins getting rid of dead or broken cells. Without enough water, your body is unable to transport and excrete what it needs to. On top of that, the majority of your energy needs are being supplied by breaking down fat stores during the fast . Fat is the storage site for most toxins your body encounters, and releasing a bunch of this fat will also release a bunch of toxins in your bloodstream. Mineral Consumption: Adding the right kind of salt, in the form of sea salt, to your diet during your fasting eating period is important when reducing caloric intake because every structure and function of the body needs minerals to function properly. Anemia & Hair Loss: My Story and Recovery

11:28
MEGA FOOD BLOOD BUILDER ⇨ http://amzn.to/2rjTfyC ——————————————————————————————— Iron deficiency anemia develops if your body doesn't have enough iron to build healthy red blood cells. Hemoglobin is the protein inside red blood cells that carries oxygen through the body. Oxygen helps the growth and repair of all body cells including the cells that make up hair follicles. This leads to hair thinning, hair loss and brittle nails. ——————————————————————————————— In this video, I discuss my battle with iron deficiency anemia and how I recovered. I have struggled with anemia for a good portion of my life. I have finally reached a point where I feel that I have the anemia under control. I have also found the BEST iron pills on the market that do not hurt your stomach or have painful side effects. Sometimes hair loss can be genetics but sometimes it can be caused by anemia. If you believe you may be anemic I urge you to visit a doctor and have your blood levels tested first before taking any supplements. I hope that my story was able to help at least 1 person out there. I know I have struggled for years with my hair and not knowing why it was thinning. Please share your stories, tips and advice down below! ———————————————————————————————

4 Ways To Quickly Stop Leg Cramps & Foot Cramps With Natural Remedies

06:50
CALM MAGNESIUM: http://amzn.to/2iOkidv CUPRUM 30c: http://amzn.to/2iOkMAo STOP LEG AND FOOT CRAMPS: http://amzn.to/2hDzMoV ULTIMA REPLENISHER: http://amzn.to/2ihrz8I Suffer no more! In this video I share four natural remedies I have personally used to quickly stop my own leg cramps and foot cramps, and they really work! If you suffer from leg cramps or foot cramps, watch this video to find out what you can do to stop those cramps almost as soon as they start! My leg and foot cramps started to appear many, many years ago. My only remedy at the time was to rub them out or walk them out, and that could take a long time. All the while I was in pain. A lot of pain! My right foot especially would cramp up, even when driving, and that would force me to immediately stop the car, get out, and walk around until it stopped. Horrible! Of course, the cramps happened at night as well, like they do with a lot of people. Then, I visited a naturopathic doctor (Dr. Angela Agrios, ND) and not only learned about some of the causes, but also some remedies that would help stop the pain, almost immediately. Leg cramps and foot cramps can be caused by many things but a few common are poor circulation, lack of electrolytes (minerals) and cold feet. I discovered that I had really poor circulation, and so that certainly contributed to the issue. I would later find out that exercising depletes the body of electrolytes (minerals), especially magnesium, potassium and calcium. So does sitting in a hot sauna or steam room because lots of perspiring will deplete the body of electrolytes. Of course, rigorous exercise also causes perspiration. It just so happens that if you can get electrolytes back into the body you can also stop the leg cramps and stop the foot cramps. Before I share the natural remedies for leg cramps and foot cramps, I want to emphasize that if you suffer from either of these cramps on any kind of regular basis, it would be in your best interest to visit a naturopathic doctor to find out why so that the cause can be treated. For example, I know for me it is due, in part, to poor circulation, and to that end, my doctor has worked with me extensively so that my circulation is much better now (naturally, of course). NATURAL REMEDIES FOR LEG CRAMPS & FOOT CRAMPS Cuprum 30c – A Homeopathic Remedy Cuprum is homeopathic copper, and it’ll stop most cramping within two minutes. Homeopathy is energy medicine and works at an energetic level on the body. If you have ever wondered about whether or not homeopathic remedies work, get a cramp, take Cuprum, and you’ll be a believer! I’ve used cuprum lots and lots of times, and it works amazingly well. Find Cuprum at your local health food store. I’ve used the 200c with success as well. Ultima Electrolyte Replenisher I’ve been using this brand of electrolyte replenisher for a few years now, and in fact, I drink it nearly every day. If I spend time at the sauna or have had a heavy workout, and get cramps after going to bed, I know that my electrolytes have been depleted and so I get up and take a couple scoops of this Ultima in water, along with the Cuprum. It really helps. You can find it at most health food stores. Their website: http://ultimareplenisher.com Calm Magnesium Magnesium helps to relax muscle, and from that point of view, also helps to relieve leg cramps and foot cramps. The Calm brand of magnesium is recommend by my doctor and I know that it quickly gets into the body. It helps make going to sleep easier, and will also help loosen stool, which is particularly good for people who have constipation issues. Calm magnesium is an excellent brand and I’ve been using it for many years. Their website: http://naturalvitality.com Stops Leg & Foot Cramps In About One Minute I recently found this remedy in a health food store and was intrigued by the product name and the claim, so I bought it to test it myself. I am happy to report, that it does, in fact, work! I have since talked with a worker at the health food store who said other customers have had great luck with this product as well. The ingredients of this product are just apple coder vinegar, ginger and garlic, which are all loaded with potassium. It’s not in all health food stores, so if you go to their website you can use their store locator to find it near you or purchase it online: http://www.stopslegcramps.com Produced by Larry Cook Author of The Beginner’s Guide to Natural Living http://www.thenaturalguide.com Find the book on Amazon: http://goo.gl/3ILiqS http://www.thenaturalguide.com/Quickly-Stop-Leg-and-Foot-Cramps-With-4-Natural-Remedies.html http://www.larrydcook.com how to stop leg cramps leg cramps at night foot cramps what causes leg cramps causes of leg cramps nighttime leg cramps foot cramps at night leg cramps treatment what causes foot cramps severe leg cramps

All About Ascorbic Acid

29:20
Natural vs Synthetic Ascorbic Acid Natural and synthetic L-ascorbic acid are chemically identical, and there are no known difference in their biological activity. The possibility that the bioavailability of L-ascorbic acid from natural sources might differ from that of synthetic ascorbic acid was investigated in at least two human studies, and no clinically significant differences were observed. Ascorbic Deficiency The following problems should be expected with increased incidence with severe depletion of ascorbate: disorders of the immune system such as secondary infections, rheumatoid arthritis and other collagen diseases, allergic reactions to drugs, foods and other substances, chronic infections such as herpes, or sequelae of acute infections such as Guillain-Barre and Reye's syndromes, rheumatic fever, or scarlet fever, disorders of the blood coagulation mechanisms such as hemorrhage, heart attacks, strokes, hemorrhoids and other vascular thrombosis; failure to cope properly with stresses due to suppression of the adrenal functions such as phlebitis, other inflammatory disorders, asthma and other allergies; problems of disordered collagen formation such as impaired ability to heal, excessive scarring, bed sores, varicose veins, hernias, stretch marks, wrinkles, perhaps even wear of cartilage or degeneration of spinal discs; impaired function of the nervous system such as malaise, decreased pain tolerance, and cancer from suppressed immune system and carcinogens not detoxified, etc. Note: I am not saying that ascorbate depletion is the only cause of the disorders, but I am pointing out that disorders of the systems would certainly predispose to the diseases and that these systems are known to be dependent upon ascorbate for their proper function. Not only is there the theoretical probability that these types of complications associated with infections or stresses could result from ascorbate depletion, but there was a conspicuous decrease in the expected occurrence of complications in the thousands of patients treated with oral tolerance doses or intravenous doses of ascorbate. This impression of marked decrease in these problems is shared by physicians experienced with the use of ascorbate such as Klenner and KaloKerinos. Successful Dosing For very severe illness, the dose he used was large and the most effective route was intravenous, but the intramuscular route was satisfactory. He gave at least 350 mg per kilogram of body weight (a 70 kg man is 150 pounds; thus 70 x 350 = 24,500 mg). This amount was put in 500cc of sterile water, usually dextrose, saline or Ringer's solution. It was diluted so that there was at least 18cc of diluent to each gram of C. Maintenance Doses Maintenance doses are established by the patient taking bowel tolerance doses 6 times a day for at least a week. He observes if there is any unexpected benefit such as clearing of sinuses, decrease in allergies, increase in energy, etc. Should any chronic problem be benefited, then the dose is decreased to the minimum amount producing the effect. Otherwise, a dose such as 4 to 10 grams a day divided in 3-4 doses is recommended. Patients who take ascorbate in large amounts over a long period of time should probably supplement with vitamin A and multiple mineral preparation. How to make Sodium Ascorbate Sodium Ascorbate is a buffered form of Vitamin C that consists of 90% Ascorbic Acid bound to 10% Sodium. This is the optimal form of Vitamin C for intravenous injection. So, if you have 100 grams of ascorbic acid then you would need 10 grams of baking soda, then add distilled water--so your ratio is 9:1. When adding water this mixture will begin to fizz. Mix gently until fizzing stops. What you have left is sodium ascorbate. Formula -8 grams of Ascorbic Acid -500mgs of potassium bicarb -sodium bicarbonate -magnesium citrate -30 mgs of zinc Generally, the ratios are almost 100-160:10 or thereabouts This will allow for better uptake of the minerals and the buffered C

03:42
Get the same supplements used by today’s top athletes http://athleanx.com/x/top-trusted-supplements The most important supplements when it comes to building muscle and making gains should fall into the category of muscle recovery. If you are a natural, unassisted lifter you need to do everything you can to maximize the rate of recovery that your muscles can achieve between workouts. Strength and size changes can occur if you can tip the balance of recovery in your favor. If you can slow muscle breakdown or enhance the rate of muscle repair and regrowth you can achieve a net balance of protein synthesis needed to see visible changes. Too often however, we under recover and don’t see the gains that we would like to. You can improve your body’s ability to recover from your workouts in a few key ways. First, you want to be sure that you are getting in high quality, restful sleep each night. The amount of sleep can vary from person to person, but anywhere between 6-9 hours can be enough provided you are not restless and can sleep deep and uninterrupted. Your nutrition plays a major role in your rate of muscle recovery as well. Provide your muscles with the nutrients that it needs throughout the day and most importantly prior to going to bed, and you can certainly tip the scales in your favor. In this video, I show you some a couple of examples of how we attack the muscle recovery supplement category with our joint recovery and muscle repair supplements. You must remember that complete recovery occurs when both facets are addressed. Joints and muscles are obviously intimately connected since they work in concert to facilitate movement. All too often, people look for shortcut supplements that do nothing to help speed up muscle repair. They try to take testosterone boosters thinking that they can make themselves bigger and speed up muscle growth, not realizing that this type of supplement is dangerous in the first place. They also don’t appreciate the fact that you can have a bigger impact by speeding up repair as long as you are training hard enough in the first place to cause enough damage to spark growth. At ATHLEAN-X, we have the complete ATHLEAN-Rx supplement line that is used by today’s top professional athletes to improve recovery and performance. You can use the same exact supplements to take your training to the next level by heading to http://athleanx.com and getting your complete supplement bundle.
