8 Steps to Picking the Right Medicare Plans During Open Enrollment | Medicare Open Enrollment 2018

10:15
8 Steps to Picking the Right Medicare Plans During Open Enrollment | Medicare Open Enrollment 2018 Most people fill Medicare’s coverage gaps by buying a Medicare supplement (medigap) plan and a Part D prescription-drug plan, or they get both medical and drug coverage from a private insurer with a Medicare Advantage plan. You have from October 15 to December 7 each year to pick a Medicare Part D prescription-drug plan or a Medicare Advantage plan for the year ahead. You can switch from one Part D plan to another, or from one Medicare Advantage plan to another. You can also switch into a Medicare Advantage plan. However, if you have Medicare Advantage and want to switch to a medigap plan plus a Part D plan, you may have limited medigap options depending on your health—although you can choose any Part D plan during open enrollment. The plan that was best for you over the past year may not be the best one next year. That may be because the drugs you take or the doctors you see have changed. Or it may be because the coverage has changed under your plan for next year—your drugs may be moving to a more expensive pricing tier with higher co-payments, or your doctors may be leaving your Medicare Advantage plan’s network. Or new plans may be introduced in your area that are a better match for you. Aetna, for example, is introducing a new, low-premium Part D plan in 20 states, and United Healthcare is expanding its Medicare Advantage plans into 100 new counties in 2018. Because you can change plans every year, you can focus specifically on your drugs and dosages or the type of health care you need now; you can switch again next year if your needs or your options change. Let’s get started. Please leave your comments or feel free to discuss in the comments section. Your feedback will be appreciated. Thanks for watching!! Like ! Share ! Comment ! Subscribe ! Aetna Medicare Supplement Plans & What You Must Know

03:13
Call 1-800-892-7981 or visit http://medicarefriend.com/ Hi Folks, I'm Glen Kavanagh with the Medicare Friend, and I hope you find the information on here helpful: Aetna Medicare Supplement Plans & What You Must Know Aetna Medicare supplement plans are some of the most popular in the entire Insurance Industry. A few of the main points in the video are: -Aetna medicare supplement review: An Aetna medigap plan is typically a great buy if you are the type of person that is willing to pay more for great customer service. You can count on getting a hold of someone in their Brentwood, Tennessee headquarters when you call member services. -Just like Mutual of Omaha, They boast high S&P ratings and are also very highly rated with the Better Business Bureau. -It is common for a first timer to seek an Aetna Plan F Review because it has been the most popular policy, however Aetna medicare supplement plan G has surpassed it as the most bought in 2017, followed by the cheaper aetna plan N. Expect 2018 and 2019 to continue that trend, especially since Plan F is going away in 2020. You can still keep your plan F after 2020, but experts predict rates to increase much faster than Plan G & N, making the latter plans a better overall value -Aetna medicare supplement rates drop significantly if you can qualify for their household discount. Often times with Mutual of Omaha, only one policy is needed in the household as long as the policy holder's spouse/ partner is 60 years of age or older- this benefit is unique. However, if you want the household discount on your Aetna Medigap plan, you will need to make sure both you and your spouse/ partner have an Aetna Medigap policy. They require two policies in the same household. - Expect Aetna to be a major player for years to come based on word of mouth alone. -Finally, Rates are still typically lower long term if you look elsewhere. We may be able to help you find identical coverage for significant savings. This is why I bring up phenomenal companies like Manhattan Life, Thrivent, etc. Little known yet great, stable companies that offer all of the same benefits, but historically have kept their rates much more stable as they do not need to pass on a high advertising expense on to their clients. In 2014, I started in this industry full-time, after I learned that seniors are often offered only one choice in Medicare, depending on where the agent has his loyalty. I am an independent Medicare agent, which means I offer ALL of the available plans. So, if you'd like an independent agent working for you, and you are new to Medicare, or just need a second opinion on your Medicare plan, give me a call. My service is free to you and I might save you a lot of money by helping you find the right Medicare option for your specific needs! Aetna Medicare Advantage Las Vegas {Review}

02:50
http://montridgeinsurance.com/health-insurance/las-vegas-mobile-medicare/ We discuss Aetna Medicare Las Vegas in this Aetna Medicare Advantage video. Aetna paid the first Medicare Claim in the 1960's. It is one of the oldest health insurance companies in the United States and is heavily involved in the Senior Medicare market in Las Vegas. Aetna Medicare Las Vegas gives Medicare beneficiaries many options when it comes to Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplement plans (Medigap). Types of Plans HMO PPO Large Network of Doctors Both the HMO and PPO plans offer one of the largest networks of Doctors and Providers within the state of Nevada for members to choose from. To put it into prospective, Aetna's Medicare providers list is almost as twice as large as the next largest provider network in Las Vegas. Many people who come off of group coverage and go into Medicare are surprised at how many of their providers are in the Aetna Network. HMO Aetna Medicare Las Vegas HMO has a unique feature. We all know that with HMO's you must see your primary care provider for a referral to a specialist and you must stay in network to receive those services. With Aetna Medicare Advantage HMO you can use out of network providers that Aetna owns in 19 different states. Contact us for more information about using this benefit correctly. PPO Also with Aetna Medicare Las Vegas PPO plans there are a large number of in network providers but with any PPO you can see doctors out of network and without needing a referral from a primary care. All Medicare PPO's have an out of network deductible as well as co-insurance up to a certain amount. Quality of Care It is important to understand why Quality of Care is important with Medicare health insurance. In our opinion, Aetna does a terrific job at following up with their members and scheduling appointments. In fact some of our clients are surprised that their insurance plan cares that much to call them to see if they made their appointment for their yearly physical. 13 Difference Between Aetna And United healthcare

03:34
1. Aetna: 1.5 million providers worldwide including 664,301 primary care doctors and specialists. United Health Care: 1 million physicians and specialists, 6,000 hospitals and clinics in the United States. 2.  United Healthcare does have the advantage in some states for individual health insurance coverage because the UHC lineup of Health Savings Accounts (HSA’s) are very strong and while Aetna does offer HSA plans they are usually not quite as good as the UHC HSA plans. 3.  Aetna has been very easy, no issues to report. 4. They are both A+ rated companies, so you can't really go wrong with either.  5. Aetna: 15.8 million policyholders United Healthcare Group: 18 million policyholders 6. Medicare Advantage Availability: Aetna: 39 states and DC United Healthcare Group: Nationwide 7. Network Size: UHC does have the slight edge. 8. Aetna: Specific plans vary widely from state to state. United Healthcare: Specific plans still vary slightly from state to state. 9. United Healthcare: Largest number of Advantage enrollments. Aetna: Over 50 years of Medicare experience. 10. Aetna: Wide range of HMO and PPO plans, dependent upon your state United Healthcare: Similar range of HMO and PPO plans 11. Medicare Supplement Availability: Aetna: 44 states United Healthcare: Nationwide 12. Aetna: World-class employer-based health plans used by businesses across the country United Healthcare: Emphasis on individual-based health plans, though they also offer employer-based policies 13.  Hospital workers and administrators much prefer working with Aetna over working with United Healthcare.

Medicare Advantage Plan What is it?

What is a Medicare Advantage Plan? Robert Bache, MedicareBob explains how a Medicare Advantage Plan works. If you would like help from the experts at Senior Healthcare Direct, call 1-855-368-4717. It is easy to compare plans, visit: http://www.seniorhealthcaredirect.com/get-your-quote/ We helped thousands of people on Medicare and people that are aging into Medicare, including those who lost their employer retiree healthcare benefits. People from Boeing, AT&T, and now GE Retirees...we can show you the BEST options available in your area for Medicare Supplement Plans, at the lowest premiums. And Medicare Supplement Plan G for 2016 is definitely a great option, especially over Plan F. Are you just turning 65 and wondering what the best Medicare Supplement plan is? Many agents will tell you it's Plan F. They'll say it's the best plan because it covers everything 100%. While this is true, they're not writing the check for the monthly premium each month for you, are they? You need to look at all of your options, and Medicare Supplement Plan G is always always a better choice than Plan F. Medicare Supplement Plan G is almost identical to Plan F except for one small deductible. In fact Plan G is becoming increasingly popular, and my guess is that more and more people turning 65 will end up on Medicare Supplement Plan G even over Plan F. And although nothing is written in stone yet, it is quite likely that if the government does decide to make any major changes to Medigap plans they will likely first go after plans that offer what is called "first dollar coverage". This means Medicare Supplement Plan F and Plan C, as these plans begin paying 100% the very first day people get enrolled. This becomes quite costly for everyone if people start visiting their doctor for every little health problem. So why choose Medicare Supplement Plan G? You'll save money on Plan G! Not only are the premiums lower, but the rate increase each year average far less than Medigap Plan F. Even after you pay the Part B deductible yourself you almost always end up saving money with Plan G. In some cases the savings are incredible. For instance with people age 70 and above in many zip codes you can save hundreds of dollars per year by going with Medicare Supplement plan G rather than Plan F. Learn why Medicare Supplement Plan G could be your very best choice for a Medigap plan and what it might cost you if you go with Plan F. One important thing to remember is that regardless of which Medigap plan you choose, each insurance company has the exact same benefits and coverage for each plan letter. This means a Medicare Supplement Plan G from Aetna has the same benefits of a Plan G from AARP. This is because the plans are standardized by Medicare, who chooses what each plan's benefits will be. That however, is where the similarities stop. That's because each insurance company is allowed to charge different monthly premiums for the exact same plans and benefits. This means if you choose the wrong company it could end up costing you hundreds or thousands of extra dollars per year! Don't get caught paying too much for Medicare Supplement Plan G. Learn what the best way to shop for a Medicare supplement plan is, and how to choose properly. Medicare solutions focused on keeping seniors healthy and independent. The greatest asset for Baby Boomers to enjoy the golden years of retirement is their health. With many plans on the market, increasing costs and unanswered questions as to how the health care reform will impact Medicare, now more than ever, seniors are focused on making the right choice during Medicare’s open enrollment. In this episode of Baby Boomers in America, Kristi Matus, executive vice president and head of Aetna Government Services, discusses Medicare – the misconceptions, the difference between Parts A, B, C and D, and some programs available to those with chronic health conditions. “Aetna is focused on helping people live healthier, more productive lives and we have built our programs and continually improve them with that in mind,” states Matus. “We have many options to meet individual needs and each person should take in mind their current health and lifestyle when determining what coverage he or she should select.” Aetna is one of the nation's leading diversified health care benefits companies, serving approximately 36.7 million people with information and resources to help them make better informed decisions about their health care. “What makes Aetna unique is simple – we care about the people who are enrolled in our programs,” confirms Matus. “We care about their health, we care about their quality of life. They are not just policyholders to us.”

Aetna’s success at acquiring new Medicare accounts was being eroded by members who weren’t renewing. The keystone of our efforts to improve retention was a completely new Medicare member website with important information about plans and timely items of interest. This video provided a warm introduction. In the first year alone, retention increased as much as 25% among certain groups.

Medicare Supplement vs Medicare Advantage: Which one is better?

05:29
Selecting between Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans is an important decision for those turning 65 or retiring and selecting their Medicare coverage for the first time. This video explains the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans, also known as Medigap. We will cover things like the premium, cost, copay, deductible, out of pocket expenses, and networks of these two popular supplement insurance plans. This video will help in your decision making process as you select between Medicare Advantage and Medicare supplement plans. This is another one of the most common questions that we get here at Medicare hero is how do I decide which type of coverage is really best for me. Medicare Supplement: So first let's talk about Medicare supplement plans. The monthly premiums for Medicare supplement plans range from about $85 to $170 dollars a month, actually for people turning 65 I see an average of about $100 to $120 per month for their coverage. The premiums you pay all depends on your age, gender, and where you live. With a Medicare Supplemental plans we can see any doctor or any Hospital in the entire country that accepts Medicare there's absolutely no networks, and when we go to see those doctors there's no co-pays, no deductibles, and no out-of-pocket expenses. All we do is pay our monthly Insurance premiums and we're done. Additionally with a Medicare supplement plan you never need a referral to see a specialist, and again it doesn't matter which insurance company you select such as AARP United Healthcare, Humana, Aetan, Cigna, Mutual of Omaha, or New Era, you can always go see a specialist without a referral when you have a Medigap Plan. Now the last part of Medicare I want to talk about is prescription drug coverage, Part D of Medicare. With a Medicare supplement plan you can select independently of your Medicare supplement insurance company a prescription drug RX plan. Medicare Advantage: Medicare Advantage plans were created as a low cost alternative to Original Medicare and Medicare supplement plans. When I say lower-cost what I mean is lower monthly premiums. So the premiums for Medicare advantage plans can be anywhere from $0 in addition to what you're already paying for part b of Medicare up to $60 or $70 and premiums can even be as high as a hundred dollars a month. The key with Medicare Advantage plans is that we want to keep our premiums low because that is the advantage is low monthly premiums. So one of the compromises that Medicare Advantage plans make in order to get those low monthly premiums is they have network so you want to make sure that your doctors and hospitals that you choose to use are in the network for the insurance company you're looking at. This means that Medicare insurance companies such as AARP United Healthcare will have a different network then Humana, Aetna, or bluecross blueshield. So just be careful make sure your doctors, specialists and hospitals are in network. Also your Networks and doctors can change mid-year but we can't necessarily change our Part C coverage. Additionally because we now get those low monthly premiums we now have to pay deductibles co-pays and other charges when we use our insurance coverage. So if you see a specialist you might have a small copay, if you go to the hospital you will have to pay a certain amount of pocket. So we get low monthly premiums with Medicare Advantage plans but then we have to spend money the more we use our healthcare insurance. Additionally Many of the most affordable Part C Medicare Advantage plans do require referrals to see a specialist. Now that we've had all the key points both Medicare advantage and Medicare supplement plans what's the bottom line? Well Medicare supplement plans are best for people who can afford the extra premiums and if you most value your choice of doctors and hospitals as well as a predictable healthcare budget where you're not going to have large healthcare expenses throughout the year. You know if you just pay your monthly premiums you're going to be set. Medicare Advantage plans on the other hand are simply the best if you're looking for low monthly premiums.

-- click here- https://Medigaplist.com _____ Explanation of Medicare advantage vs Medicare Supplement/Medigap plans. Medicare advantage plans can without a doubt lower your monthly spending if you are HEALTHY! If you notice the key to that sentence is if you are healthy. Medicare Supplements are very popular with doctors because they pay their bills on time and they don't argue the cost, because they can't. Lets take a look at the comparison between the Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plan in Pennsylvania and the Aetna Medicare Supplement Plan F. One advantage plan from Blue Cross (HMO) has a zero premium. The out of pocket cost for the year could possibly be over $6500 for a year. It may cost you $20 for a doctor visit or $200 per day in the hospital etc etc. The point is it is $0 for the premium which gets everyone excited, but if you need to get a surgery done in December, it could cost you $6000 out of pocket. Also, the hospital may or may not take the Medicare Blue Cross Advantage plan. The Advantage Plan from Blue Cross that is "0″ premium is an HMO plan and some hospitals and doctors won't take it. The Medicare supplement plan F from Aetna is a Medigap plan that could cost around $150-$200 a month premium depending on if your a Male or Female, what zip code you live in etc. The difference is, the out of pocket cost for Medicare approved procedures is "0″. Also, any hospital that excepts Medicare has to except the Medigap plan F from Aetna. Also, this Medigap supplement Plan F could be from any company including, KSKJ life, Family Life, Mutual of Omaha, New Era, ANTEX, AARP, etc etc. The out of pocket cost is going to be your premium not copays and deductibles. The bottom line is do you want to pay in the front or in the back. Do you want to pay a zero premium and pay deductibles and copays, or do you want zero deductibles and copays with a higher premium. Your going to pay either way. Put your zip code into Medigaplist and we can give you the best Medigap rates possible. Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Vs. Aetna: Who is Better?

05:54
Next Step: http://hubs.ly/H01ndv70 Anthem and Aetna Policy and Plan Comparisons Now that we're done with the boring history lesson, let's start comparing these two health insurance heavy weights. It's possible Anthem is going for quantity over quality. They have 14 total plans (Inside and Out of the Marketplace) available for you to choose from in 2015. Bronze - 5 Silver - 7 Gold - 1 Platinum - 0 Catastrophic - 1 Aetna has the fewest number of plans of any health insurance company in Ohio with a grand total of five. Bronze - 2 Silver - 2 Gold - 1 Platinum - 0 Simple math will tell you Anthem is going to give you more choice. But having the most plans doesn’t make you the best. Just like having the least doesn’t make you the worst. It’s a matter if there’s one that works for you. Anthem and Aetna Doctor/Hospital Network Differences This is where both companies fall pretty far behind. There are other companies that haven’t let Obamacare get the best of them, like Anthem and Aetna. Those companies still offer a mostly unchanged network. Both Anthem and Aetna decided to significantly limit your choice of doctors and hospitals. Usually only leaving one major hospital network to choose from in your area. If they happened to pick your prefered hospital system, that might work. If not, than you might have some problems. You don't want to have to try and squint really hard to see a scenario where one of their plans make sense. The biggest risk you run with limited choice is not being able to see a top special if needed. As you'll see in the next section, if this could save you money, I might allow it. But, nine time out of 10 it's just not in the cards. Anthem and Aetna Pricing and Cost This is where things turn into a battle for last place. Both Anthem and Aetna have had little interest in offering competitive rates. There are companies like Medical Mutual and even InHealth Mutual that are cheaper. Also, don’t forget the network limitations both companies have. This has been the case for the last two years, with a few exceptions popping up here and there. Sometimes I would run a quote for a client and Anthem and Aetna would be in the ballpark, but rarely cheaper. If no major adjustments are made by either company in 2016 you can expect this trend to continue. The rate for 2016 should start to show up at the start of open enrollment on November 15.

Aetna Medicare Supplement Review

Check out our 6 Part Mini Medicare Course http://www.GetMedicareSavings.com. Call us today for your FREE quote. Keep your money in YOUR pocket where it belongs ! www.LibertySeniorSavings.com Nicole Rada 2017 Update: Part B deductible is $183 (raised from 2016 $166) Hi there, this is Nicole w/ Liberty Senior Savings. Thanks for watching this video. I wanted to do a review of Aetna today and talk to you about the company in general. Now, Aetna has been around since 1853 and it’s a good company. It’s A-rated so it’s very stable. They pride themselves on 2 different things: (1) on price, of course premium is important but also (2) customer service, you’ll find the customer service in Aetna is they really take pride in that. Now, generally people are only calling in 2 different things: (1) to change their address because they moved or (2) to change their banking information. Just like all of the other insurance companies and like social security, premiums are done through direct deposit so when people call in they find that friendly hometown attitude at the price themselves on that. You might be familiar with them depending on what state that you’re in. Continental Life, or it could be American Continental or Aetna Health Life so those are their subsidiaries and all of them have this name financials. So as we are independent, we show you the different prices in each situation. If you’ll look here around the screen, we do it by zip code. We do it if you’re a smoker or non-smoker, if you’re male or female and by your age. So, you’re going to see what you see here on the screen. We will do an actual screen share with you. A screen share is I won’t be able to see you but you will see exactly everything that’s on my screen. So, we’ll show you from A to Z we’re very honest with our clients and show you everything upfront and let you make you decision. This one is a Plan G and it shows you the range and the prices. Look at how big the range is. It’s unbelievable! Now, you might ask why is such a range in price? Here on the screen you’ll see page 100 of the Medicare new guide book from 2016 and it states very clearly that different companies may charge different premiums with the exact same policy. So, everyone you see here on the screen has exact same benefits the only difference is price and we’ll show that to you. So, when you’re turning 65 a lot of people don’t realize that you can actually arrange your Medicare supplement 6 months before your 65th birthday. So, what you’re doing is you’re locking in that rate a full 6 months before. So, let’s say your birthday is in December, we can do that in the month of June. So, you’re locking it in 6 months but you’re also locking it in for another 12 so that 18 months of rate lock on that. So, that’s a very good thing to do. We all want to save money where possible and then every year we check in with our clients. Of course you get mail, newsletters keeping you posted on Medicare you get that all year around but we check in 2 specific times. Customer service is very important to us just like it is at Aetna. One time we will check for the supplement and we’ll do the same thing you. We’re going to look at your zip code, we’re going to look at your age, do you smoke or not, male or female and we’ll see what’s available at that time. We want to guarantee that you can get the best rate that you qualified for each and every year so we want to keep as much money in your pocket where it belongs. So that is one time. The other time is we check in for the Drug Plans. Again, if you change your formula in just a little bit you might have a different plan that might save you money. On Drug Plans, you want to look at both the premiums and then the total out-of-pocket. Now, we don’t handle Drug Plans specifically, we use medicare.gov and we just input the different drugs with the specific dosages and it pops up everything for us and we give that to you. So it’s very simple to do that way you can rest assured on that note as well that you are getting the best rate again on that you qualified for so that’s another thing we do. It’s very simple. We walk through everything. It takes about 10 -12 business days you’ll get your card in the mail and all insurance has what it’s call the 30-day free look period, that’s the time period that you can cancel it and you’re looking to make sure that everything is as wanted it to be. So, that’s it! It’s very simple, you get your card in the mail about 10-12 business days Thanks for watching this video. Please feel free to call us anytime with any questions that you might have and if you like more information on Medicare we know it’s confusing, we’ve put together a 6-part Medicare mini-series. It’s here on the link down below but it’s www.GetMedicareSavings.com but feel free to call us, email us and I hope you have a lovely day.

Wednesday Medicare Supplement Rate Watch

03:18
This Wednesday Medicare Supplement Rate Watch is focused on Medgiap Plan G, for a female, ages 65, 70 and 75 in Dallas County Texas (zip code 75043). As I have said before, Medicare Supplement plans are all Federally regulated by the government. There is no reason for anyone to pay more with one carrier over another because the letter of the plan dictates the coverage, not the carrier. You are not getting any additional benefits by paying more. That’s why it is important to shop your coverage every year, and we can help you with that. You may ask, “Why do these companies charge different prices if they are all the same?” That’s a great question. Carriers have different administrative costs and they have different profit goals. There’s tons of different reasons why these big companies charge different prices. What you need to know is, just like in your Medicare book, Plan G is the same with every carrier. Top 3 Medicare Supplement Plans 2018

08:07
Contact Me: MedicareScreenShare@gmail.com My Website: http://www.medicarescreenshare.com Top 3 Medicare Supplement Plans On The Market Today Okay lets look at the Top 3 medicare supplement options in the market today. Lets get right into the presentation. Okay you have 15 different plan options to choose between to supplement original Medicare. The plans range from plan A to Plan N and cover some to all the gaps in Original Medicare. We will just be looking into the 3 most popular plans instead of confusing you with all 15 different coverage options. Looking more into plans F, G and N you can see why they are the most popular plans and why their market shares are growing so quickly. Plan F is the most popular because it is the easiest to understand and covers 100% of the gaps in Medicare. So if you enrolled into Plan F and have a Medicare approved claim, it will cover all the deductibles, coinsurances, and copays of Original Medicare. Plan G is also a very easy to understand plan with it coving 100% of the gaps in Medicare with one exception. That exception is that Plan G does not cover your Part B deductible. The Part B deductible in 2017 is $183… The last plan we will be comparing is Plan N. Plan N also does not cover your $183 Part B deductible much like Plan G… There is also a $20 copay for doctor visits and a $50 copay for emergency room visits that do not result in impatient admission. Lastly Plan N does not cover part Part B excess charges. Part B excess charges are when doctors or specialist charge up to 15% more then what Medicare is willing to pay for a test, sugary, or procedure. Plan F was on average the most expensive at $130 dollars, Plan G was $104, and least expensive was Plan N at $85. This is very consistent with what you will find throughout the United States. Now lets compare the three. Comparing Plan F to Plan G is very easy. All you need to do is some simple math to find out that Plan G will cost on average about $312 less a year than Plan F. Then subtract the only difference between the two. And if you remember the only difference is the $183 Part B deductible. So your net savings with Plan G after taking into account all benefit differences is $129. So with a Plan F you are paying an insurance company $129 a year to pay for your Part B deductible. And you can even pocket the whole difference of $312 if you do not go to the doctor at all… Some other factors to look at when comparing these plans is that Plan F will no longer be available to new enrollees in 2020, but you can keep your plan as long as you like if you signed up before 2020. Plan F ending will create a closed risk pool most likely leading to higher rate increases for Plan F after 2020. It is also important to point out that Plan G and N have had historically lower rate increases than Plan F in the past as well. So just because plan F is the most popular plan on the market does not make it the best. Comparing Plans G and N is a little more difficult. Again after some simple math you find out that you can save $228 a year with Plan N over a Plan G. But you need to factor in the Part B copays with Plan N. The $228 dollar difference between plans G and N is equivalent to 11.4 $20 office visit or 4.6 $50 emergency room visits. So you would have to have quite a few office or ER lists to make up the difference in cost, but do not forget about the Part B excess charges with Plan N. You can avoid these charges by only working with Medicare Assigned doctors, but the risk of being charged 15% more for a test, sugary, or procedure is one of the reasons why Plan N is less expensive. So excess charges are an important factor when deciding between Plan G and N, but if you are in great health then Plan N could save you a lot of money especially if you continue to stay healthy 5 to 10 years into your Medicare enrollment. Now which is the best of the three. Well I would have to pick Plan G in most cases. It is close between Plan G and N, but the safer long term bet is with Plan G. Now if you are exceptionally healthy you should seriously consider Plan N especially if the cost difference is over $200 a year. But remember if you do pick Plan N just always make sure your doctor except Medicare Assignment to avoid any Excess Charges. And finally Plan F. Plan F is only for the person where money really does not matter. Thanks for taking the time to check out this quick presentation and I hope you found it helpful. Make sure to comment, like, and subscribe to my channel for future Medicare updates, and if you are still a little confused about how Medicare works make sure to check out my Medicare 101 video as soon as this video ends.
