AARP MedicareComplete - Is It A Good Plan?
Call (888) 310-0376 to Get Quotes on Top Rated Medicare Advantage Plans. AARP MedicareComplete is one of the most recognizable brands in the Medicare Advantage market, but is it a good plan? This video will address that question. Visit http://affordablemedicareplan.com to get access to hundreds of articles on Medicare Advantage, Medicare supplements and Part D insurance. I had a reader post a comment and ask if AARP MedicareComplete was a good Medicare Advantage Plan. Questions about which Medicare Advantage Plans are best is a common question. The question itself reveals a lack of understanding about Advantage Plans having to be measured against an individuals needs and circumstances. A good Medicare Advantage Plan is one that includes all the benefits you desire at reasonable out-of-pocket costs. Your providers should be in the plan's network and your drugs should all be included in the plan's formulary. The monthly premium must also be affordable. Further compounding the issue with AARP Medicare Complete is the fact that the plan will not include the same benefits, network type or out-of-pocket costs in every service area. MedicareComplete may be an HMO, HMO-POS or a PPO plan. The type of network will determine how you use your plan. To understand all the benefits and costs associated with a plan you should refer to the Summary of Benefits. Also, review the MedicareComplete provider directory and Part D formulay. Only then will you be able to assess the plan's value in relation to your needs. If you would like to learn about Medicare Advantage and Medicare supplements get my 8 Part Video Mini-Course. The course is designed to help you choose the best Medicare plan for your circumstances. http://free-mini-course.com

Silverscript Part D vs. Humana vs. AARP & Other Medicare Prescription Drug Plans
Call 1-800-892-7981 or visit http://medicarefriend.com/ Hi there, I'm Glen with the Medicare friend. I have given advice to thousands of folks that are turning 65 and getting onto Medicare for the first time, and what I tell them is conveniently located below for you: Silverscript Part D vs. Humana vs. AARP & All Other Medicare Prescription Drug Plans You're getting ready for Medicare and you are wondering how in the world are you going to get your prescriptions covered and everybody is starting to mail you stuff. Silverscript and AARP and Humana- Humana is so hot right now! AARP is the one that your sister or brother or friend or mother or neighbor has and they love it so is that the best one for you? The correct answer is Maybe... Here's why- unlike Medicare supplements that are all standardized and have to offer identical benefits- Medicare Part D prescription plans can be very different. Each of these Insurance Companies gets to decide how much your specific prescription that you're taking is going to cost. Here's where it gets a little shifty- if a company is boasting that they have a $0 deductible that doesn't mean anything because they may have a much higher co-pay then the next one. And the company with the higher deductible could say that your prescriptions are in a lower-tier on their formulary. And ultimately you would end up paying less for the company with the higher deductible. Better yet some companies with high deductibles can say for your prescriptions, the deductible doesn't apply to them in the first place. And best of all some of the part D plans offer free 3 month supply prescriptions through the mail order. Each person that our team helps gets a thorough analysis on medicare.gov so they will know to the penny what they will pay on one plan versus another. So you can make sure you have the Best Plan! And another nice thing is every year we revisit this with you and make sure you are still in the Medicare Part D plan that saves you the most money overall. So if you get more prescriptions later, you're not stuck, you can switch to a plan that covers your new prescriptions the best. Call us now for a free consultation- We make this SO Easy for you! Talk to you soon. Here at the Medicare friend, we shop the entire market for you, because all we want is to see you happy, with great coverage, and keeping as much money in your pocket as possible. We have NO OTHER MOTIVATION than to give you the best of the best. Call us now or visit us at Medicarefriend.com to schedule a free consultation. AARP Medicare Supplement Plan F - Is It The Best Medicare Supplement?
Call (888) 310-0376 to Get a Quote. AARP Medicare Supplement Plan F is offered by United Healthcare. This video addresses whether or not AARP Plan F is the best Medicare supplement. Visit http://affordablemedicareplan.com to get access to hundreds of articles on Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage and Part D insurance. The first thing you should understand about Medicare supplement policies (also known as Medigap) is that plans are standardized. That means that the core benefits contained in AARP Medicare supplement Plan F will be the same no matter which insurance company makes Plan F available. AARP is not the insurance company. United Healthcare is the insurance company. In order to buy an AARP Medicare branded supplement you will need to be a member of AARP. There are many benefits of membership beyond being able to buy a supplement and the annual fee is very reasonable. As far as AARP Medicare supplement being the best medicare supplement, the question really needs to be re-phrased in light of understanding that Medigap policies are standardized plans. A better question would be, "Is AARP Medicare supplement Plan F the most comprehensive?" And the answer would be yes. In addition to Plan F paying your share of expenses for all Medicare-covered services, AARP Plans include discounts on vision, drugs and include a Silver Sneakers Gym membership. The discount on drugs is just that, a discount. It is not Medicare part D drug coverage nor a replacement for Part D. Original Medicare is the Medicare parts A & B and D that we have detailed in previous videos. In this video we will talk about Medicare Advantage plans. In our next video of this series we will discuss Medicare Supplement or Medigap plans. You are only allowed a Medicare Supplement plan if you keep your Original Medicare. You cannot have a Medicare Supplement or Medigap plan and a Medicare Advantage plan at the same time. So, let’s talk about Medicare Advantage plans. 1. Medicare Advantage plans replace your Original Medicare. They are not supplements. They do not supplement or enhance your Medicare coverage, they replace it. (show book) When you choose a Medicare Advantage plan the benefits and appeals processes outlined in this guide are no longer relevant. You can throw this book away. Your benefits will be detailed in an “Evidence of Coverage” provided by the insurance company you choose to replace your Medicare, along with their “Annual Notice of Change”. You no longer need to show your doctor your red, white and blue Medicare card or Medicare number, you will have a new card provided to you by the insurance company. You can no longer appeal your benefits to Medicare. Medicare is out of the picture as far as your personal service in concerned. If you decide to appeal an insurance decision, you must appeal to the insurance company. 2. Medicare Advantage plans are typically HMOs or PPOs and on occasion a Private-Fee-for-Service plan. HMO stands for Health Maintenance Organization. PPO stands for Preferred Provider Organization. We will talk more about both of those in a minute. What is important to understand is that Medicare Advantage plans are not standardized, they are regulated to meet a certain minimum coverage. That is an important concept, so let me explain further. Medicare Part A & B is standardized. Medicare Supplement plans are standardized. Everyone in those plans receives the exact same benefits, they can see the exact same doctors and should have the exact same experience. With Medicare Advantage plans, each plan has different benefits, different co-pays, and deductibles, covers different medical services and has a different network of doctors and hospitals. Everyone’s experience is different and depends on which plan they have chosen. In additional; all the benefits, co-pays, deductibles and the doctors and hospitals in the network can and will change each and every year. It will be your responsibility to keep up with the changes via their mandatory Annual Notice of Change. It’s your responsibility to study this annual notice and determine how the changes may impact your healthcare. Medicare Advantage plans are regulated to meet a certain minimum standard. That minimum standard dictates that they must be actuarially equivalent to Medicare Parts A and Part B. That’s an interesting term “actuarially equivalent”. What does that mean? Medicare PPO, Medicare HMO, Medicare Advantage For an online resource center or to apply for Medicare visit http://www.medicare.gov To learn about the history of Medigap visit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medigap

We review Medicare Supplement Plan N as well as touch on Plan F and Plan F-HD; the Medigap plans best priced for value in Florida. We mention Medigap Plan F 2020 and what will happen with those who own a Medigap Plan F when it is canceled in 2020. Our Video on Plan F-HD is here: https://youtu.be/-oCWJZ6snM0 For a full quote comparison of the plans available to you, complete the information we need on this form: https://medigapseminars.org/home-page... Visit us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MedicareWebinars/ ...... That leaves us with Medigap Plan N. Medigap Plan N is the unsung hero of Medicare Supplements. It packs a lot of coverage into a very well-priced, low-cost package. On average, a Medigap Plan N will cost between 25% and 35% less than a Plan F, saving $600 or more in annual premiums. How is a Plan N different that the complete coverage of a Plan F? Medigap Plan N is different than a Medigap Plan F is three ways. First, you pay the annual Medicare Part B deductible. That deductible is just $166 per year as of 2016. It may be more or less in the years ahead. Only Medigap Plan F and Medigap Plan C pay that Medicare Part B deductible, and that is why those two plans will be discontinued as of 2020. Medigap Plan N and all other Medicare Supplements require you to pay the annual Medicare Part B deductible. It’s just $166 and it’s no big deal compared to the hundreds of dollars you save in premiums. The second way Medicare Supplement Plan N is different that a Medicare Supplement Plan F is that with Plan N you pay up to a $20 co-pay when you visit the doctor and a $50 co-pay for an emergency room visit unless you are admitted to the hospital. If you see a doctor a couple times per year, a $20 co-pay is a fair exchange for the hundreds of dollars in lower premium. The third and final way that a Medicare Supplement Plan N is different that a Medigap Plan F is that Medigap Plan N does not insure against Medicare Part B excess charges. Now, this scares a lot of people until they understand how inconsequential this feature really is. Only doctors who do not accept Medicare Assignment can charge a Medicare Part B excess charge. Medicare assignment simply means that Medicare assigns the price to the service. Only 3%, three out of 100 doctors do not accept Medicare Assignment which then allows them to bill an excess charge. All you have to do is ask your doctor if they accept Medicare Assignment. Odds are 97% that they do. If so, then that feature of a Plan N is of no concern. If your doctor is one of the three out of one-hundred that does not accept Medicare Assignment, simply request that they bill you only the assignment rates so that Medicare covers the cost of his or her services. It’s that simple. Most seniors on Medicare never encounter a doctor that does not accept Medicare Assignment in their entire life. There you have it. If you are considering a Medicare Supplement to add coverage to your Original Medicare, consider and price at least Medigap Plan F, Medigap Plan N and Medigap Plan F-HD. In states outside of Florida, also, consider Medigap Plan G (detailed in a separate article). To find the best prices for each of these plans, simply complete a quote request. We will email you the prices and information you need. If you are more interested in a Medicare Advantage plan, contact us for details. Medicare Supplement vs Medicare Advantage: Which one is better?
Selecting between Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans is an important decision for those turning 65 or retiring and selecting their Medicare coverage for the first time. This video explains the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans, also known as Medigap. We will cover things like the premium, cost, copay, deductible, out of pocket expenses, and networks of these two popular supplement insurance plans. This video will help in your decision making process as you select between Medicare Advantage and Medicare supplement plans. This is another one of the most common questions that we get here at Medicare hero is how do I decide which type of coverage is really best for me. Medicare Supplement: So first let's talk about Medicare supplement plans. The monthly premiums for Medicare supplement plans range from about $85 to $170 dollars a month, actually for people turning 65 I see an average of about $100 to $120 per month for their coverage. The premiums you pay all depends on your age, gender, and where you live. With a Medicare Supplemental plans we can see any doctor or any Hospital in the entire country that accepts Medicare there's absolutely no networks, and when we go to see those doctors there's no co-pays, no deductibles, and no out-of-pocket expenses. All we do is pay our monthly Insurance premiums and we're done. Additionally with a Medicare supplement plan you never need a referral to see a specialist, and again it doesn't matter which insurance company you select such as AARP United Healthcare, Humana, Aetan, Cigna, Mutual of Omaha, or New Era, you can always go see a specialist without a referral when you have a Medigap Plan. Now the last part of Medicare I want to talk about is prescription drug coverage, Part D of Medicare. With a Medicare supplement plan you can select independently of your Medicare supplement insurance company a prescription drug RX plan. Medicare Advantage: Medicare Advantage plans were created as a low cost alternative to Original Medicare and Medicare supplement plans. When I say lower-cost what I mean is lower monthly premiums. So the premiums for Medicare advantage plans can be anywhere from $0 in addition to what you're already paying for part b of Medicare up to $60 or $70 and premiums can even be as high as a hundred dollars a month. The key with Medicare Advantage plans is that we want to keep our premiums low because that is the advantage is low monthly premiums. So one of the compromises that Medicare Advantage plans make in order to get those low monthly premiums is they have network so you want to make sure that your doctors and hospitals that you choose to use are in the network for the insurance company you're looking at. This means that Medicare insurance companies such as AARP United Healthcare will have a different network then Humana, Aetna, or bluecross blueshield. So just be careful make sure your doctors, specialists and hospitals are in network. Also your Networks and doctors can change mid-year but we can't necessarily change our Part C coverage. Additionally because we now get those low monthly premiums we now have to pay deductibles co-pays and other charges when we use our insurance coverage. So if you see a specialist you might have a small copay, if you go to the hospital you will have to pay a certain amount of pocket. So we get low monthly premiums with Medicare Advantage plans but then we have to spend money the more we use our healthcare insurance. Additionally Many of the most affordable Part C Medicare Advantage plans do require referrals to see a specialist. Now that we've had all the key points both Medicare advantage and Medicare supplement plans what's the bottom line? Well Medicare supplement plans are best for people who can afford the extra premiums and if you most value your choice of doctors and hospitals as well as a predictable healthcare budget where you're not going to have large healthcare expenses throughout the year. Best Medicare Supplement Plan - How To Find The Lowest Rates!
Watch this Step-By-Step Guide that will show you how to find the Best Medicare Supplement Rates available! GET YOUR FREE MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES: http://www.medicarehero.com/shop-for-coverage Or Call 1-888-321-6361 Today we are going to show you a step-by-step guide that will show you exactly how to find the best Medicare supplement rates (the lowest prices) available. Each day our clients ask us what the best company is when it comes to a Medicare supplement plan. The answer is… there isn't one! It's all about which insurance company is going to provide the lowest rates for you. So today I am going to show you a couple of easy-to-use tips that will help you find the insurance company that will offer you the lowest rates for the supplemental plan you are looking for. The first thing we want to share is that ever company that offers a Medicare Supplement plan (Medigap) offers the exact same coverage for that particular supplemental plan. This means that ever company that offers you Plan G offers the exact same coverage as every other company. It doesn’t matter whether you choose Humana, AARP United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Mutual of Omaha, or any other company. Plan G is always plan G and Plan F is always Plan F. Additionally there's no network of doctors as every company is required to allow you to go to any doctor that accepts Medicare. So know we know that all the Medicare insurance companies are equal, how do we choose between Medicare supplement Plans such as Plan F, Plan G, and Plan N? Well there's two key factors that we want to look at. The first one is the price! Simply put, if you were going to go and buy a car you know you could get the exact same red honda from one dealership as you can the next, everything is identical but the price is going to be very different between those dealerships. So why don't we buy from the dealership that's been offers the lowest price? This this is exactly how Medicare supplement plans work! The second thing a little bit different and a lot of people don't think about it but this is really important! Which is rate increase history. Now each year on your birthday your rates are probably going to go up on your Medicare supplement plan so we want to go with a company that has a history of very small increases. Not only do we want to save money today but we want to keep your price down in the future as well! So we don't want to sign up with a Medicare company that has a low price today and huge price increases tomorrow. Now these two key points we just talked about, price and rate increase. Are relevant for any Medicare supplement plan you want to shop for including Plan F, Plan G, Plan N, Plan K, or any other one. But for today's example I want to take you behind the scenes and show you our quoting software and show you the prices for Plan F and plan G so you can actually see what all the companies charge for somebody who's turning 65. Another reason it's so important to shop around for Your Medicare Supplemental Coverage is because these prices are based on your current zip code, your age, whether you're male or female, whether use tobacco Products, and the plan you select. So it is Important to shop around to find the best rates for your particular situation and not assume that because a particular company was the best price for a friend or family member that it will be the best Medicare supplement plan for you and provide you with the best rates. I even have husbands and wives go with different companies on occasion because it's going to save them the most money. So whether you're just getting started shopping for Medicare supplement coverage or if you would just like to get the rate increase history or price of a specific company without having to sit on hold for an hour with an insurance company, simply give us a call we're happy to help you right over the phone! Again with just couple of pieces information and our team at Medicare Hero can give you all the prices for Medigap plans in your area along with rate increase histories, all in an easy to view format so you can make a well informed decision on your coverage. Best Medicare Advantage Plan
Best Medicare Advantage Plan? Get FREE help with Medicare Advantage Plans http://medicaresavingsolutions.com/ 1-800-663-5707 How to choose the best Medicare Advantage Plan for you! What is the best Medicare Advantage Plan? This is a question I get almost every day. When I help someone choose a Medicare Advantage Plan that is best for their needs there are 5 main things we look for in the Medicare Advantage Plan (Medicare Part C Plan). The first thing you want to look for to find a good Medicare Advantage Plan is the Provider Network. In order to be a good plan for you it must have a large choice or network of providers. So when you choose the best Medicare Plan for you it is very important to make sure all of your Medical and Pharmacy providers are in the network. You may have a plan that allows you to see providers outside the network, but you will pay a higher cost share so it is best to stay in network if possible. The second thing I look for when helping someone select the best Medicare Advantage Plan for their needs is the Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage. We always make sure to look up all the medications a person has to help determine which plan will cover them all and give the lowest out of pocket costs. You also want to be sure that the plan will cover prescriptions that may pop up in the future as well. Medical Coverage is the third thing to look for. We always compare the medical coverage on the Medicare Advantage plans available in a clients area. One key factor in comparing Medicare plans is to look for coverages in plans where your out of pocket costs are limited to a specific dollar amount. This makes it easier to determine what you will be paying for services. It is much harder to estimate costs if your out of pocket portion is determined by a percentage of the total Medicare approved amount. Monthly cost is the fourth thing we look at. Some may say that the monthly cost is one of the most important factors in choosing the best Medicare Advantage Plan. This can be true because there are some plans out there that while they may have better coverage than some others, they can be way overpriced. You want to make sure the difference benefits make up for the difference in monthly premium. There is a large misconception that there are FREE Medicare Advantage Plans, it is true that there are $0 premium Medicare Advantage Plans out there, but there are out of pocket costs associated with the plans. If there is a higher cost Medicare Advantage Plan that you are considering then before you sign up for that plan it is a good idea to compare that with the best Medicare Supplement plan in the area. There are many Advantage Plans that are so high in monthly cost that it is better to choose a Medicare Supplement Plan that would give you much better Medical coverage. In my opinion one of the most important factors to determine the Medicare Advantage Plan that is right for someone is the Company they go with. You want to look for a plan with a larger reputable company that has been in the Medicare Advantage business for a while. There are a lot of small companies that pop up everywhere just to get a piece of the pie. They may be good for you for a year and then bad the next and you'd have to go through the whole process of finding a plan again. You want to avoid switching Medicare Advantage Plans every year. It can lead to a lot of issues for you because every Medicare Advantage plan has different networks, different prescription coverage, different health coverage, and many other things that could cause problems. You could end up needing to change medications or providers. If you do change plans just make sure you prepare for those differences and also prepare to get new referrals if your plan requires them. Another big tip I have for people with a Medicare Advantage Plan is "Don't get sold"! A lot of agents will convince you that you should change your plan over a 5 or 10 dollar difference in copays, premiums, or some other minor difference. This can cause problems like I mentioned before, unless there is a major change in your plan then "don't fix what isn't broken"! Don't get sold a plan, always make sure it is 100% in your best interest. At Medicare Saving Solutions we are independent agents and help hundreds of seniors every year find the best Medicare Advantage Plan for their needs. We represent and shop all of the top plans to make sure our customers are always taken care of. Medicare Advantage Plan And Medicare Supplement Policy - Can You Have Both?
Have you ever wondered about whether you could have a Medicare Advantage Plan and a Medicare Supplement policy? In this video I will address that topic and explain why having both types of Medicare Plans at the same time is not allowed . Get more Medicare answers at: http://affordablemedicareplan.com A subscriber had asked me whether he could have a Medicare Advantage Plan and a Medigap policy at the same time. To answer the question, here's a review of both Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplemental insurance. Medicare Advantage Plans (sometimes called Part C) are available from private insurance companies that are contracted with The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to provide and administer your Medicare benefits. Instead of being subject to the Medicare Part A deductible and the 20% coinsurance for Medicare-covered outpatient services, Advantage Plans can set their own out-of-pocket amounts. These are deductibles, copayments and coinsurance. When you enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan, you agree to pay these amounts for covered benefits. A Medicare supplement is also offered by a private insurance company and is also known as Medigap. Medigap policies work in conjunction with original Medicare (rather than being another way to receive Medicare benefits) to pay a portion your out-of-pocket expenses, Medicare Part A deductible, Medicare Part B deductible and Part B coinsurance, etc. You cannot have a Medicare Advantage Plan and a Medicare supplement at the same time because a supplement will not pay any of the out-of-pocket expenses associated with a Medicare Advantage Plan. Your Rights with Medicare - 877-88KEITH (53484)
What are your rights with Medicare? Complete Medicare Resource Center here: http://www.medsupsavings.com/ 877-88KEITH (53484) Understanding Your Rights with Medicare and How Knowing Helps You Get the Best Coverage Beneficiaries participating in the federal government healthcare coverage program Medicare should be aware of rights they have for protection purposes. Your rights with Medicare provide protection under specific circumstances you should know about. Those who enroll for coverage will be made aware of this information in further detail based on what plan they qualify for. When this information is received you should review it carefully and ask questions if you need clarity. You can get additional details about your rights through Medicare.gov and through local legal services. The following points give insight on rights and protections beneficiaries should know about with Medicare coverage. • Your rights with Medicare include different areas related to healthcare coverage and services received. These rights help protect patients when health care services are received. There are rights in place to ensure patients receive services the law says you are entitled to. Such rights also provide protection against healthcare practices deemed unethical. More importantly, you have rights that keep your information private. • There are rights in place for everyone and anyone who receives Medicare coverage. These include general yet important details beneficiaries are entitled to as a Medicare recipient. For instance, you have rights that ensure you are treated fairly, protection from discrimination, have access to qualified health professionals, answers to questions you have, and rights to ensure you get as much information as possible about the health coverage itself to help you make the best decision about your health care. • Under original Medicare you have rights in relation to health care you receive. You have rights that allow you to purchase additional coverage for health care needs (Medigap), get details of when Medicare does not cover a service, and the right to obtain services from a Medicare-approved provider or facility. • Under Medicare Advantage plans you have a variety of rights that allow you to select your doctor of choice to ensure you get the care necessary, obtain treatment from the doctor or facility of choice (especially under special medical situations), and you have the right to know how doctors receive payment. If there are differences in the plan you have selected you have a right to appeal them. You have the right to file a grievance or complaint if there are issues with your plan. You also have rights that let you get information about coverage prior to receiving services. • Under the Medicare prescription drug plan (Part D) beneficiaries have specific rights including an appeal to resolve concerns related to determining coverage, filing a grievance or complaint, and your rights with Medicare include keeping prescription drug details related to your health private. How to Get More Information Regarding Medicare Rights There are several source options available to help you understand your rights as a beneficiary. These options include insurance assistant programs offered in your state (SHIP), the Medicare Beneficiary Ombudsman, and your state survey agency that oversee program activity related to Medicaid and Medicare. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.medsupsavings.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Med-Sup-Savings/1709195569306815 Twitter: https://twitter.com/MedSupSavings LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keith-armbrecht/5/11b/3a0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BigHealthGreatWealth

Don't Make This Common Medicare Part D Mistake
http://www.abtinsuranceagency.com/medicare Call us anytime for free unbiased advice, 1-888-465-9728 Reviewing a common question many seniors have regarding choosing a Medicare Supplement and Part D insurance carrier. (And a cute cameo from Stephanie's daughter!) Many people think that you should have the same Medicare Part D insurance company as you have for your Medicare Supplement Plan (like your Plan F, Plan G, ect.). For example, if you have an AARP Medicare Supplement Plan, you should get an AARP Part D Rx plan. However, in most instances this is NOT in your best interested. Medicare Part D Rx Plans can vary in price and formulary from one company to another, so it is important to shop your Part D plan based on your current Rx list. Your Medicare Supplement and Medicare Part D plan will likely be with two separate insurance carriers. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email or give us a call!

Original Medicare Overview - 877-88KEITH (53484)
Overview of Original Medicare? Complete Medicare Resource Center here: http://www.medsupsavings.com/ 877-88KEITH (53484) Original Medicare Overview: What Is It and What You Need to Know upon Enrollment The original Medicare Overview includes understanding elements related to the federal government’s healthcare option Medicare. This is considered traditional options offered by the government which is comprised of Part A and Part B healthcare insurance. Part D is also included as the prescription drug coverage. Each part focuses on providing coverage for different health needs. You may be required to pay a deductible, premium payment or out-of-pocket costs not covered by the plan. You may qualify for no premium payments in Part A if you qualify. You can purchase what is called Medicare supplement insurance (Medigap) to cover costs not paid by Medicare. Defining Part A, Part B, and Part D These are considered original parts of Medicare because they provide coverage for general services. These parts were in place before changes were made and adopted for Part C or Medicare Advantage. Part A provides coverage for inpatient care or hospital stays. There are limitations you should review for this plan. Skilled nursing services and hospice is also included. Part B covers outpatient care. This may include some preventative care and screening services. The last part of the original Medicare overview is Part D drug coverage. This includes a vast list of medicines Medicare covers based on copayment. You can use these parts together or one with another depending on your needs when you enroll. What is Medigap? If you enroll in Medicare Part A or B, you may qualify for supplemental coverage known as Medigap. The name comes from the aspect of the ability to cover costs or gaps left by Medicare. In some cases these policies can pick up most costs left behind. Beneficiaries will need to pay a premium payment each month on this policy. If you have Part B coverage you may pay a premium for this as well on top of your supplemental coverage. Medigap may cover premium payments for Part A depending on the policy details. There are different supplement policies to choose from and they each vary in coverage offered. What Else Do You Need to Know? There are a few details you should know about when learning the original Medicare overview. There are other costs you could be responsible for with Part A and/or Part B such as coinsurance and deductible. If you have 10 years or more related work history in the United States you don’t have to pay premium payments in Part A. You are able to obtain treatment from any hospital or doctor that accepts Medicare as payment. You do not need authorization or referral to obtain services. Private insurance options offer Part D coverage. Original Medicare often covers necessary services instead of routine services. When you pay coinsurance or deductibles for Plan B it usually amounts to roughly 20 percent of approved Medicare costs. Patients do not have limits on out-of-pocket spending. Sometimes Part A, B, or D is used with Part C (Medicare Advantage), but you are not able to use a Medigap policy with Medicare Advantage. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.medsupsavings.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Med-Sup-Savings/1709195569306815 Twitter: https://twitter.com/MedSupSavings LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keith-armbrecht/5/11b/3a0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BigHealthGreatWealth

Medicare 101: 2018 Medicare Part A, Part B, Part C, and Part D Explained
Medicare 101 covers everything you need to know about Part A, Part B, Part C, and Part D of Medicare. It also goes over Medicare Supplements. My Website: http://www.medicarescreenshare.com Contact Me: MedicareScreenShare@gmail.com (920) 960-4312 Okay there are 4 parts to Medicare that I help people with on a daily basis, and you can see all four of them here with Medicare Parts A, B, D and also Medicare Supplement or Medigap insurance. Part A and B are what makes up original medicare. Part A is your hospital insurance and it helps cover you for inpatient care in the hospital, skilled nursing care, hospice care, and home health care. Part B is your medical insurance and it helps cover services from doctors, healthcare providers, outpatient care, home health care, durable medical equipment, and some preventive services. So basically part A pays for your room and board at a hospital and part B pays for your doctors and the equipment they use. The next major part of Medicare is Medicare Part D or medicare prescription drug coverage. Medicare Part D helps cover the costs of your prescription drugs. Medicare Part D plans are run by medicare approved private insurance companies and you pay a premium to lower the cost of your prescription drugs. The last part of Medicare is Medicare supplement insurance or Medigap. Medicare supplement insurance works alongside medicare parts A and B and is designed to fill some to all the gaps of medicare depending on which plan you choose. These plans are also offered by private insurance companies. Now if you have already done some research you may have hear about Medicare Part C or Medicare advantage plans as well. Well Medicare advantage is an alternative to these four options and it is also run by Medicare approved private insurance companies. Medicare Advantage or Part C plans replace your medicare parts A and B with a private insurance plan, and it must at least cover what medicare parts A and B cover. Some plans even offer prescription drug coverage along with other benefits. We will compare going with Medicare Part A,B,D with a Medicare supplement to going with Medicare Part C or Medicare Advantage a little later, but let first look at how to enroll into medicare and also the costs associated with it. So the majority of people will enroll into Medicare at 65. if you are already collecting on Social Security benefits or you have Railroad benefits then you will be automatically enrolled in medicare about 3 months before you turn 65. If you do not fall under these two criteria then you can enroll into medicare 3 months before and up to 2 months after the month you turn 65. This is considered your initial enrollment period. If you missed your initial enrollment period and still want to sign up for medicare parts A or B then you will need to wait until General Enrollment Period, and general enrollment period runs between January 1st and March 31st of each year. If you enroll during the general enrollment period then your coverage will start on July 1st of the same year, and you may have to pay a higher part A and B premium for late enrollment. Lastly there is the special enrollment period. This is for people that are still working past 65 and 3 months. It gives them a 8 month period where they can sign up for parts A and B when they finally do retire, and usually without any penalty… Now when you are ready to enroll into Medicare, either at 65 or when you finally do retire, all you need to do is visit your local social security office of just give Social Security a call. Medicare Part A is usually free as long as you or your spouse paid into medicare while working and part B usually costs $134 a month as long as you make less than $85,000 filing individually or $170,000 filing jointly… Here are all 11 standardized plans, but the only three that are competitive around the us are plans F, G and N. Plan F is the easiest to understand and covers 100% of the gaps in Medicare. So if you enrolled into Plan F and have a Medicare approved claim, it will cover all the deductibles, coinsurance, and copays of Original Medicare. Plan G is also a very easy to understand plan with it coving 100% of the gaps in Medicare with one exception. That exception is that Plan G does not cover your Part B deductible. The Part B deductible in 2018 is $183. The last plan we will be comparing is Plan N. Plan N also does not cover your $183 Part B deductible much like Plan G. There is also a $20 copay for doctor visits and a $50 copay for emergency room visits that do not result in inpatient admission. Lastly Plan N does not cover part Part B excess charges. Part B excess charges are when doctors or specialist charge up to 15% more than what Medicare is willing to pay for a test, sugary, or procedure. Does Medicare Cover Dental? What About Dental Crowns And Dentures?
Get Instant Access http://free-mini-course.com In this video I answer the question, "Does Medicare cover dental?" I also discuss what dental expenses are covered and which are not. Tips are given on choosing a Medicare Plan to increase dental coverage. Senior dental insurance is expensive so it's only natural to expect that dental is covered by the Medicare program. After all, routine dental and restorative procedures such as dental crowns, bridges and dentures can put a big dent in your budget. Medicare was never intended to offer comprehensive coverage. Dental, vision and hearing aides are seen as extras and the focus is on inpatient stays and outpatient procedures, doctor's visits and tests. Many people think that buying a Medicare supplement will give them dental coverage, but sadly this is not the case. A Medicare Advantage Plan will often include extra benefits like dental and vision. Medicare Advantage dental benefits can come in one of two ways. Benefits can be as a dental discount or as a dental insurance rider. If you would like to compare Medicare Supplement insurance vs Medicare Advantage, get my 8 Part Video Mini-Course. It will unlock the information you need to choose the best plan for your circumstances.
