Side Effects Of Fluconazole

03:24
Thank you for tuning into my video today. Today I’m going to talk about Fluconazole. Fluconazole is a pharmaceutical antifungal drug. It’s also known by the name of Diflucan. Fluconazole is also present in a vaginal cream called Canesten that many women tend to use. I’ve seen many patients over the years who’ve taken Diflucan. Some with reasonably good success, but in most case, the drug has been taken recurrently with very, very poor long-term results. The best result you’re going to get from any pharmaceutical drug usually is the very first time you take it. The body’s not used to the drug. It will have a powerful effect and give the desired result. But then what happens is the drug is discontinued, so then the symptoms come back, and the drug is used again and again and again. And eventually, the body builds resistance to Diflucan. The resistance is well documented. I’ve seen some patients who take this drug weekly or monthly for years on end with bad results. And in many cases, they end up with significant side effects, particularly hepatic or liver side effects because Diflucan affects Phase II or the glucoronidation pathway of the liver and it can make a person quite nauseous or sick. They can get skin reactions. They can get headaches. They can get insomnia. They can get a whole range of different side effects from Diflucan. I’ve got a pharmaceutical drug guide here and I’m going to read out some of the common side effects of Diflucan or fluconazole. Side effects include gastrointestinal upset, headaches, elevated liver function test, abnormal vision, skin odor, skin rashes, hot flashes, weakness, thirst, shaking in the body, polyuria, which means urinating a lot, renal pain or pain in the lower pain, kidney pain, dizziness, seizures, skin itching, sweating, fevers, drug eruptions, more skin rashes, sleeping disturbances and insomnia, nervousness, pain, female sexual dysfunction, menstrual disorders, respiratory disorders, deafness, heartburn, high blood pressure, liver damage. Why the hell would you want to take a drug that creates all these problems just to give you some temporary relief from a vaginal yeast infection or some kind of a yeast infection you might have? There are natural ways you can get on top of these infections without resorting to drugs. Have a look at yeastinfection.org for some natural solutions. If you’re thinking about an antifungal drug and you want to get some results but don’t want the side effects with it, have a look at the product I developed called Canxida. It’s going to be more powerful than fluconazole. You don’t need to take it for years on end. You’re not going to get all of these side effects that I’ve just read out here. It’s certainly worth a shot. Think about it. If you’re going to take fluconazole, take it once, but don’t take it recurrently. There’s no point in it. You’re wasting your time doing that. You’re only going to get drug resistance and also liver toxicity from taking it. I hope that answers a frequently asked question I get on this particular drug fluconazole. Thank you for tuning in.

Symptoms, Signs, And Treatment Of Fungal Infections

25:03
http://balancedhealthtoday.com/ellagica.html http://www.balancedhealthtoday.com/store/ellagica.html Fungal infections are fairly common but don't appear nearly as often as rashes in the eczema category. Perhaps the most common diagnostic mistake made by both patients and physicians is to almost automatically call scaly rashes "a fungus." For instance, someone with several scaly spots on the arms, legs, or torso is much more likely to have a form of eczema or dermatitis than actual ringworm (the layman's term for fungus). Likewise, yeasts are botanically related to fungi and can cause skin rashes. These tend to affect folds of skin (like the skin under the breasts or the groin). They look fiery red and have pustules around the edges. As is the case with ringworm, many rashes that are no more than eczema or irritation get mislabeled "yeast infections." Fungus and yeast infections have little to do with hygiene -- clean people get them as well. Despite their reputation, fungal rashes are not commonly acquired from dogs or other animals. They seem to be most easily acquired in gyms, showers, pools, or locker rooms or from other family members. Treatment is usually straightforward. Many effective antifungal creams can be bought at the drugstore without a prescription, including 1% clotrimazole (Lotrimin, Mycelex) and 1% terbinafine (Lamisil). In extensive cases, or when toenails are involved, a prescription drug like oral terbinafine may be useful. If a fungus has been repeatedly treated without success, it is worthwhile considering the possibility that it was never really a fungus to begin with but rather a form of eczema. Eczema is treated entirely differently. A fungal infection can be independently confirmed by performing a variety of simple tests. http://www.balancedhealthtoday.com/store/ http://balancedhealthtoday.com/products.html

Different Treatment Approaches For Nail Fungus

03:44
http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Different Treatment Approaches For Nail Fungus. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. According to statistics, 12% of the whole American population has nail fungus. This condition results in thickened, discolored, brittle and malformed nails. The toenails are more commonly affected than the fingernails. The dermatophytes or the kind of fungi that causes the nail abnormalities breed ideally in warm and moist places. The foot is subjected to such environment when one wears shoes everyday. Nail fungus is contagious. That is why, extra precaution must be taken. It doesn't instantaneously affect other persons upon contact, but may do so if the other persons have weak immune systems or have other conditions that make them prone to infections. If you have acquired nail fungus, it may be best to avoid sharing towels, nail clippers, shoes, slippers and other things which are considered for personal hygiene purposes. There are reported cases of all members of one household getting nail fungus because of sharing of a nail clipper. Treatment for Nail Fungus. Topical ointments are not very effective when it comes to treating nail fungus. They cannot penetrate the thickened nails and cannot eliminate the fungi underneath the nails. Experts have experimented on nail lacquers that are designed to effectively combat nail fungus. Oral medications are more ideal for the treatment nail fungus. The common medications used are Fluconazole, Itraconazole and Terbinafine. Fluconazole- This drug is marketed as Diflucan. Individuals infected by nail fungus may take this once a week for several months. There have been reports of side effects involving the kidney. Said side affects can be resolved by lowering the dosage of the drug. Itraconazole - This medicine can be taken in conjunction with other drugs including antibiotics and antihistamines. Itraconazole is taken once a week for two to three months. The drug is branded in the market as Sporanox. Terbinafine - This drug is taken daily for eight weeks to treat fingernail fungus and 12 weeks to treat toenail fungus. There are only few documented side effects of this pill, compared to the other drugs. Lamisil is the brand name of Terbinafine in the market. Patients are reminded to avoid alcohol intake while under using antifungal drugs. Intake of alcohol may increase the amount of toxins in the body and may affect the functions of the liver. The ultimate treatment for nail fungus infection that is in its chronic stage, is permanent removal of the toenail. Podiatrists or doctors who specialize in the treatment of foot diseases, should be consulted for this procedure. Unlike oral or topical treatment, which doesn't prevent recurrence of the nail fungus, matrixectomy or the removal of the infected nail will ensure permanent remedy for your problem. Prevention is still the best medicine. This can be done by practicing simple habits like regular trimming of your nails, wearing of appropriate footwear and socks, avoiding use of nail polish, washing of hands and feet and careful cleaning of the nails to avoid skin breakage. Doing these things can be equated to blocking the entry of fungi that may attack your nails. That's it! Thank you. Please subscribe, comment and like this video if it was helpful! See you soon!

How we diagnose Ringworm (Tinea Corporis)

02:54
Ringworm (Tinea Corporis), is not a worm, but a fungal infection of the skin. This is a typical way it looks - one or more cirular, sharply circumscribed, red, scaly patch, often with central clearing, which give is this "ring" appearance. If people have pets, I often ask if they have noticed that their pet has patchy hair loss, but it is not always the case that a person has developed this condition from their pet. The diagnosis if pretty simply made, by scraping a little of the scale onto a slide and looking at this under the microscope, called a KOH prep. Under the microscope we see mycelia, hyphae, and spores which kind of look like crooked bamboo stalks. Treatment is usually with a prescription topical antifungal cream, but resistant cases are treated with oral antifungal medications. Thank you for watching! Best Medication to Treat Nail Fungus

04:38
http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Best Medication to Treat Nail Fungus. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. Best Treatments For Nail Fungus. Embarrassing conditions can be just as traumatic for the sufferer as the more serious health complaints. Nail fungus is a typical example. There are approximately 30 million known suffers of Onychomycosis, the medical name for nail fungus, in the United States alone. There may be many more cases but the very nature of the condition can stop sufferers from seeking medical attention or a remedy. Nail fungus can strike anyone at anytime, although adults are more likely to become infected by the condition and men are more likely to suffer than women. So What Is Nail Fungus. Nail fungus is nasty bacteria that lives quite happily under the toenail or fingernails. It thrives in warm damp condition and so your nail bed is a perfect environment for the fungal infection to survive. Nail fungus can spread from toenail to toenail and fingernail to fingernail, it can also be passed to other people. What Can I Do To Get Rid Of Nail Fungus. If you have the first signs of the fungal infection you should treat immediately, the initial signs of nail fungus are a slight pitting of the nail, discoloration and distortion. If diagnosed early enough a home remedy can stop the infection and kill the bacteria from spreading. Nail Fungus Home Remedies. There are several homeopathic or home remedies that have proven to be quite effective for treating the early stages of the infection. Some of the most common are Apple Cider Vinegar, Tea Tree Oil, Vicks Vapo Rub and Listerine. Of the four mention the most likely to bring success is Apple Cider Vinegar. Apple Cider Vinegar or ACV provides an acidic environment that can stop reproduction and fungal growth. It has be stressed that most of the home remedies listed do requite time, patience and dedication. Even the mildest form of nail fungus can take several weeks or months or treatment. Doctor Prescribed Nail Fungus Medication. Many nail fungus suffers choose to ignore the symptoms until the condition worsens to such a degree that several nails have fallen victim to the condition. It is only then that suffers wake to reality and admit they have a problem Some sufferers will seek medical attention for severe fungal infections, some of the most likely prescribed anti fungal medicines are Lamisil, Sporanox, Penlac and Diflucan. Most of the aforementioned are effective at killing the infection and reducing the visible signs but can often cause more problems than they solve. The prescription anti fungal medicines are usually drug based and a world apart from the more natural homeopathic home remedy. Prescription anti fungal medicines can cause side effects from the minor to the more serious. It has been well documented the connection between Lamisil and possible liver damage. Over The Counter Nail Fungus Medicine. Somewhere in the middle there are the over the counter or commercially available nail fungus treatments. This genre combines research driven clinical data with natural substances and offers sufferers of nail fungus a powerful effective treatment without the side effects associated with chemically produced drugs. To stand out anti fungal medications are ZetaClear and NailRX. Both products contain natural substances and do not cause side effects. Both are topical and applied to the nail directly and are not consumed. Of the two commercially available, over the counter products, ZetaClear has the best credentials. ZetaClear is an FDA registered homeopathic treatment for nail fungus that uses strong natural anti fungal substances and does pose a risk to health. So there you have it, if you have a very mild form of nail fungus the best treatment is the Apple Cider Vinegar home remedy -- so long as expectation levels are set to weeks and possibly months. For the more serious nail fungal infections an over the counter fungal medicine such as ZetaClear would provide an outstanding chance of killing the bacteria, reversing the visible signs of toenail or finger nail damage and allowing you to once again avoid the embarrassment of showing your feet and hands in public again. That's it! Thank you. Please subscribe, comment and like this video if it was helpful! See you soon!

It took 18 months. I show the steps taken in curing toe nail fungus. Here is what worked for me: 1. Wear sandals. 2. Tolnaftate liquid (Pro ClearZ) 3. Tolnaftate cream (ClearZ Fungi-Cide PM) 4. Undecylenic Acid 25% liquid (FungiCure). 5. Clotrimazole cream. 6, Miconazole Nitrate 2% spray. 7. Jublia (efinaconazole) 10%. Need prescription. Expect to wait at least 12 months before your see any signs of improvement. All of these antifungal products are over the counter except Jublia. Do not bother with natural herbal treatments. A doctor took toenail sample and made a culture. No fungus was present after 18 months of treatment.

Nail Fungus - Background and Treatments

04:03
http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Nail Fungus - Background and Treatments. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. Onychomycosis, more commonly referred to as nail fungus, is an infection that results to discolored and disfigured nails. There are two types of fungus that cause nail infections. Dermatophytes more commonly cause toenail fungus while yeast, particularly Candida, more often infect fingernails. Any of these two types of fungus can infect the nails by entering into any tiny cuts in the skin or in the space between the hard shell or the nail plate and the underlying connecting tissue or the nail bed. Roughly 12% of the American population is infected with nail fungus. The affliction is more commonly observed on toenails rather than fingernails. A probable reason is that the toes get lesser blood circulation than fingers and therefore have minimal chances of fighting off infection. Likewise, adults over 60 are more at risk of nail fungus due to weaker blood circulation. Nails tend to thicken and their growth decelerates with age, thus making them more susceptible to fungal attack. Some people may be genetically predisposed to fungal infection. Those with diabetes or any other ailment that come with poor blood circulation and weak immune system are more susceptible to fungal infections in general, including nail fungus. Nail fungus usually starts out as a yellow or white spot under the tip of a nail which may develop in time to discoloration of the entire nail plate. As the fungus continues to grow and feed on the nail plate's keratin, the nail thickens and becomes brittle. In time, it may become too overgrown that it causes pain, especially when wearing shoes. The dark-colored debris that accumulates in between the nail plate and the nail bed may also cause foul odor. In some cases, the nail may crumble off or detach from the nail bed. Any infection, including nail fungus, should never be treated lightly. It may spread to other nails, and in worst cases, on other parts of the body as well. Those who have a vulnerable immune system due to disease or medication should take fungal infections seriously and seek immediate medical attention. Fungal infections in general are difficult to treat completely. They often recur mostly because the cause of infection is not totally eliminated. Ointments and creams that are available over-the-counter are often not effective in treating the ailment. Doctors would most likely recommend oral medication to treat nail fungal infection. Common oral medications for treating fungal infection are Sporanox, Diflucan, and Lamisil. Treatment of fungal infections can be long drawn. Oral medication usually takes a course of 6 to 12 weeks. Doctors may also recommend using topical solution in conjunction with the oral medication. But it may take as much as 4 months or more to completely eradicate fungus. In extreme cases, the doctor may have the infected nail removed so as to permit direct application of a topical solution to the underlying tissue. Doctors may also prescribe a special nail polish called Penlac to patients with mild to moderate fungal infections. Nevertheless, nothing beats good hygiene in order to prevent the onslaught or recurrence of fungal infection. It is of utmost importance to always keep the hands and feet dry. Keep your bare feet off wet floors in public baths, pools and locker rooms. Ditch the polish and artificial nails for covering up unsightly infections. And never forget to wash hands thoroughly after touching infected nail. That's it! Thank you. Please subscribe, comment and like this video if it was helpful! See you soon!

Nail Fungus - The Symptoms And Treatment Options

03:26
http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Nail Fungus - The Symptoms And Treatment Options. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. Nail fungus is a persistent and ongoing condition. You can get this infection due to a fungus named onychomycosis. It is often found in people who visit unrestricted places like gyms, swimming pools or else shower rooms. Furthermore, people who are prone to excessive perspiration are also at risk of getting this infection as the fungi which lead to this condition flourish in humid, damp regions. It is essential to know the symptoms of this condition so that proper treatment can be followed. Even if you ensure appropriate treatment of this condition, it is quite probable that the fungus would resurface. There are certain complications which are associated with the fungus which could lead to skin infectivity, along with paronychia. Nail Fungus Symptoms. Nail fungus is usually manifested in the form of changes which are seen in either one or additional nails and this is normally seen in the toenails. Additional symptoms which are linked with this fungus are: • Weakness of the nails, which are quite easily broken than before. • There are alterations in the shape of the nails. • This is also characterized by degeneration of the nail. • You can also perceive this fungus as fragments which are trapped beneath the nail. • There would be a slackening or else coming off of nail. • Your nails would appear as if there were lacking sheen and polish. • There would also be a thickening of the nails. Nail Fungus Treatment Options. There are diverse treatments which can be availed if you wish to cure the fungal growth. • The initial treatment necessitates prescription drugs. If you consult with a doctor, he would be able to recommend a prescription which is vital for a strong anti-fungal medicine such as itraconazole (Sporanox) and terbinafine (Lamisil). Due to the recommended nail fungus treatment, you can grow a strong new nail which would gradually restore the affected nail. • The medication could also be in the form of a nail fungal polish, and this is reliant on the degree of the infection. This is in essence a nail polish which is popularly called Penlac, or else, ciclopirox. You must paint it in the region of the affected nail, and this should be followed on a daily basis, every day of a week. • You could also use a topical cure, which is provided over the counter. In this procedure the entire nail is covered with numerous materials which harm the fungus. Remember the lotions and creams which you acquire should be applied in accordance with the prescription drugs which your doctor recommended. • You can also utilize tea tree oil for curing this infection. This oil is also called Melaleuca oil. An alternate remedy could be the application of oregano oil. Nail fungus treatment is essential to cure your nail completely of nail fungus. Remember that along with treatment, a new nail would grow after a long time, and the infection is treated by the growth of original nails which are not infected. That's it! Thank you. Nail Fungus - Can Nail Fungus Be Eliminated Permanently?

http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Can Nail Fungus Be Eliminated Permanently. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. Nail fungus is a common problem. The fungus develops in our nail beds, the skin directly underneath our nails. The symptoms of nail fungus include discolored nails, crumbly or brittle nails, thickened nails, nails growing irregularly, and pain in the affected finger or toe. Since nail fungus is not a rare disease, many people have already contracted it without them knowing it. Only when it has advanced to a later stage do they find out about it and visit a doctor for treatment. Diagnosis of Nail Fungus. Doctors would usually confirm their diagnosis by scraping or clipping the nail. The sample is then sent to a laboratory for testing and evaluation. This is because other nail ailments mimic nail fungal infection. Surgery is the traditional way of eliminating nail fungus. The nail is removed in severe cases of nail fungus and a new nail grows to replace it. The growth of a new nail could take up to a year to the chagrin of many. But because of technological breakthroughs in the field of medicine, several anti-fungal medicines that combat the said ailment have been developed. Popular Medication of Nail Fungus. The most popular form of medication are topical creams and ointments. These topical medicines focus more on treating the fungal infection from the outside. The fungus underneath the nail plate is usually not reached and treated. Thus, topical medicines are usually used side-by-side with oral medications in order to attack the fungus from within as well. Alternative medicines such as home remedies are also being used by some people to slow down the growth of the fungus. However, similar to topical commercial medication, these home remedies merely focus on the surface infection and not on the fungus hiding in the nail bed. They are thus generally ineffective at completely eliminating nail fungus. The most effective way of treating nail fungus is by taking anti-fungal medications prescribed by a physician. These medications are very potent and as such, they pose the risk of side effects to our internal organs. Thus, monthly blood tests are usually ordered by doctors. Also, those who are undergoing such treatment should be wary of symptoms of organ damage such as fatigue, appetite loss, vomiting, change in urine and stool color, skin rashes, bleeding, and enlarged lymph nodes. If you experience any of these, you must report it immediately to your doctor. Because of such side effects, doctors usually recommend the treatment of nail fungus only when the patient is having secondary problems (i.e. pain in the affected area, ingrown nails, and other infections). If no secondary problems are experienced, treatment of nail fungus is discouraged because of the possible side effects of oral medications. Can Nail Fungus Be Eliminated Permanently? Anti-fungal medications do not guarantee a lasting cure from nail fungus. The recurrence of infection is very common. According to studies, at least 20 percent of patients will experience a recurrence of their condition. Therefore, what is vital is the continuous use of the treatment until the nail fungus totally disappears. After the nail fungus has been cured, prevention of the disease through the practice of good hygiene and maintenance of the proper diet is needed. That's it! Thank you. Treating Feet and Nails with 650-microsecond Laser Technology

01:16:04
A new protocol for the treatment of Onychomycosis with laser irradiation was developed and used on 192 subjects with multiple nails affected by Onychomycosis, as confirmed by PAS, KOH and culture tests. A novel Nd:YAG 1064nm laser with a 650 microsecond pulse duration and a peak power of 318 joules/cm2 or 15,385 watts per pulse was used at two clinical sites over a period of 18 months. The protocol included two laser treatment sessions spaced approximately 4 weeks apart. Then, at a point 3 months after the second laser treatment session, each subject was again administered the PAS, KOH and culture tests, and 178 or 92.7% tested negative for the fungus. The two-treatment laser protocol was repeated on the 14 remaining subjects and 11 of them were clear of all fungal infection after two additional laser treatments. Therefore, 98.4% of all subjects have shown negative culture 3 months after completion of their laser treatment course. Toes were pre-cooled with ice and all subjects reported the laser treatment as either painless or highly tolerable with an occasional sensation of heat. There were no side effects of treatment, and all subjects were satisfied with the results. This clinical study demonstrates that Onychomycosis can be effectively and safely treated with a 650 microsecond Pulsed Nd: YAG 1064nm Laser.

Getting to the Truth about Nail Fungus

02:56
http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about the Truth about Nail Fungus. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. Nail fungus is something most people know very little about. We may see a few different advertisements or commercials about nail fungus treatment and prevention, but we really do not know what nail fungus actually is. Nail fungus is a fungal infection of the nail also known as onychomycosis in the medial world. Studies show that while nail fungus is a common occurrence, it will typically infect the toenails. Very seldom will nail fungus attack the fingernails. Further studies show that approximately twelve percent of the U.S. population has some sort of nail fungus and it is typical with age. People aged 40 and older are the most susceptible to nail fungus. Like many other forms of affliction, nail fungus is hereditary; it seems to run in families. Some others may be more susceptible to nail fungus as well such as those who have a suppressed immune system due to certain diseases or treatments. People who have been diagnosed with AIDS, have received transplants, are undergoing cancer treatments are at risk. In order to determine if you have nail fungus, you must make an appointment with a dermatologist. They will scrape your infected nail and submit it for microscopic examination. The nail will be carefully examined with a microscope and, occasionally, cultured, to determine what type of fungus is growing in the nail. Your dermatologist will determine if you have nail fungus and which type you have. Dermatophytes are nail fungus found in the toenails. Yeast is the type of nail fungus found in the fingernails. If your dermatologist has diagnosed either type of nail fungus, he or she will prescribe one of many varieties of treatments available to combat the infection. In treatment of nail fungus, there are prescriptions such as gels, creams, and lotions that may be affective in treating mild cases of nail fungus. For particularly harsh cases, your dermatologist may prescribe oral medication to clear the problem. In extreme cases, the doctor may remove the nail, either the section that is infected or the entire nail to assist in treatment of the nail fungus. The good news about nail fungus is, if you do get it, it can be treated fairly quickly. There are also steps you can take to avoid getting the infection or avoid getting it again. Talk to your dermatologist, he or she will provide you with the necessary information you need about nail fungus and how you can prevent it. That's it! Thank you. Hydrogen Peroxide For Foot and Toenail Fungus

01:34
http://www.positivepanicattacks.com/hydrogenperoxideforfootandtoenailfungus.html Hydrogen peroxide to foot fungus Hydrogen peroxide for foot fungus is one of the common home remedies for this disease. It is a common household disinfectant, long used to clean minor cuts and scratches, and even popular to sanitize cutting boards and utensils. Intuitively, it makes sense that it might be good to kill the fungus. In this article the use of hydrogen peroxide as a home cure for yeast infections of the feet is discussed, and several alternative home remedies that are used in a similar manner are also described. If you have foot fungus, read on. It is quite common to have athlete's foot and nail fungus: infection often begins in the nails and extends to the surrounding skin and between the toes. Or, you can begin on the skin, especially in the crack between the toes, where conditions are often hot and humid, progress on nails. Whatever the way you choose, you can opt for a remedy for treating fungal simultaneously. Popular home remedies include dip your feet in vinegar, diluted bleach or hydrogen peroxide for foot fungus. Hydrogen peroxide for foot fungus may work, but scientific studies have not been done to confirm its usefulness. Use a solution of 3%, as the strongest preparations are less secure and can cause skin reactions. Approaches include soaking in the peroxide, cleaning the affected areas several times daily, or spraying it on and allowing it to dry. Is likely to produce much faster results for foot fungus athletes by infection of the nails. One thing is undeniable: as a foot fungus remedy, it is one of the cheapest. Regular white vinegar is very affordable as well, and is perhaps the most popular hydrogen peroxide for foot fungus treatment. The focus here is to soak your feet for 20 to 30 minutes every day until the problem disappears. If you have the time for this fungus remedy feet (you can do while watching the news or reading the newspaper), this would address both athlete's foot and nail fungus. The use of diluted bleach in the same way as the remedy for foot fungus vinegar. The concentrated bleach requires careful handling because it is corrosive to the skin, and always diluted before set foot in it. Like vinegar and hydrogen peroxide for foot fungus, will act both athlete's foot and nail fungus while.

What are Your Nail Fungus Treatment Options

04:29
http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Your Nail Fungus Treatment Options. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. If you've got a fungal nail infection, you'll no doubt be searching for a nail fungus treatment. Among your options, you will find prescription drugs, over the counter medications, and various natural or home remedies. Whatever you choose, resign yourself to a long period of treatment - some of these remedies take quite a long time to work, if they work at all. Before you buy, however, make sure that you really need a nail fungus treatment: abnormal nails can have other causes, such as bruising, bacterial growth, or psoriasis. A nail that is infected with fungus is typically thickened, and becomes yellow or brown. It may be crumbly, and it may lift away from the nail bed (the soft tender tissue under the nail). A proper diagnosis is important and can save you money, so see your physician. Fungal infections usually appear in the toenails first, but can spread to the fingernails later, so unless you have been putting off treatment for a while, it's likely to be a toenail fungus treatment that you need. First, you should learn how to make conditions inhospitable for the fungus, to hasten its departure and discourage it from returning after the treatment is finished. Fungi flourish on dead tissue - dead skin cells and the keratin in nails - and will settle in and cause fungal nail infections when conditions are moist. So keep your feet clean and dry. Towel your feet carefully after bathing, making sure you dry between your toes. You can even use a hair dryer to make sure your feet are completely dry. Next, you must choose between prescription drugs, over-the-counter treatments, and home remedies for nail fungus. The most commonly prescribed antifungal drugs for toe nail fungus treatment are terbinafine (Lamisil), itraconazole (Sporanox), and fluconazole (Diflucan). These oral medications are the most effective drugs because they attack the fungus from within, but they are expensive and all of them come with the possibility of side effects. There is a topical nail fungus treatment, a nail lacquer called ciclopirox (Penlac), which can only be used if the infection is not too advanced. Over the counter nail fungus treatment usually consists of oils, creams or lotions that are applied topically to the infected nail. Because nails are very thick and resistant to the penetration of these substances, these treatments do not tend to work very well, especially as toenail fungus treatment - they simply do not reach the fungus where it is growing under the nail. Home remedies for toenail fungus treatment tend to have the same disadvantages as the over the counter treatments but some people swear by them. Topical home remedies will probably work best if the nail is thin and soft, or if the nail has been soaked to soften it, and possibly filed down. Popular home remedies include vinegar, Vicks Vaporub, Tee Tree Oil, DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide), PineSol, and oregano oil. There is even an exotic acidophilius beer soak toenail fungus treatment in which acidophilus bacteria are added to a mixture of dark beer and vinegar, and the feet are soaked for 30 minutes daily for at least a month. Some people also recommend a natural remedy imported from the Czech Republic: Saprox Natural Antifungal Treatment. One of the most promising new nail fungus treatments is a product called Leucatin, which is an internal and topical solution that can effectively destroy nail fungus and prevent it from reoccurring by naturally boosting your body's anti-inflammatory and anti-infection abilities. Although people will see different results from different toenail fungus treatments, you are bound to find one that works for you. Talk to your doctor to see what he or she recommends. And if nothing works, you may have to choose the most extreme nail fungus treatment of all - surgical removal of the nail and infected tissue. Ouch. That's it! Thank you. Please subscribe, comment and like this video if it was helpful! See you soon!

Nail Fungus: Treatment and Prevention

05:12
http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Nail Fungus Treatment and Prevention. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. Nail fungus treatment is very important. The sooner you begin treatment the better. If left muntreated, nail fungus can become very painful and unsightly. Unfortunately many people ignore nail fungus until the symptoms worsen. It is estimated that three to five percent of the population suffer from nail fungus. Most often, nail fungus appears in the toenails. This is because socks and shoes keep the toenails dark, war, and moist. This is a perfect place for the fungus to grow. Before discussing the best nail fungus treatment, we will go over what nail fungus is, and how to prevent it. What is nail fungus. Nail fungus (also called onychomycosis) is made up of very small organisms that can infect fingernails and toenails. These organisms are called dermatophytes. Fungi are parasitic plant organisms, such as molds and mildew. These parasitic organisms lack chlorophyll and therefore do not require sunlight for growth. Nail fungus is very common. More than 35 million people in the US have it under their nails. Once the nail fungus moves in under the nail, it is difficult to reach and stop. The nail provides a safe place for the fungus and protects it while it grows. This is why basic prevention is so important. Nail fungus can sometimes spread from one person to another. These organisms can live where the air is often moist and people's feet are bare. Common places that fungus can spread include: shower stalls, bathrooms, or locker rooms. It can also be passed along when you share a nail file or clippers with someone who has a nail fungus infection. Nail fungus may also spread from one of your nails to others. What causes nail fungus. The fungal organisms that cause nail infections are present almost everywhere. Once they get under the nail bed they can be difficult to cure. Anything that damages a nail can make it easier for the fungus to move in. Examples include an injury to the nail such as getting a finger stuck in a door, or tight shoes that pinch the toes. A weakened immune system can also make it easier for a fungal infection to start. Many medical professionals believe that having a strong immune system is essential for preventing fungus infections. Nail fungus prevention. By following common sense precautions, including proper hygiene and regular inspection of the feet and toes, the chances of the problem occurring can be sharply reduced, or halted. Tips to avoid nail fungus: -Wash your feet regularly with soap and water. -Remember to dry your feet thoroughly after washing. -Properly fitted shoes are essential; an astonishing number of people wear shoes that don't fit right, and cause serious foot problems. A shoe with a firm sole and soft upper is best for daily activities. -Shower shoes should be worn when possible, in public areas. -Toenails should be clipped straight across so that the nail does not extend beyond the tip of the toe. -Use a quality foot powder -- talcum, not cornstarch -- in conjunction with shoes that fit well and are made of materials that breathe. -Avoid wearing excessively tight hosiery, which promotes moisture. -Wear socks made of synthetic fiber, which tend to "wick" away moisture faster than cotton or wool socks, especially for sports activity. -Disinfect home pedicure tools and don't apply polish to nails suspected of infection. Signs of an infection include toes that are red, discolored, or swollen. With proper prevention, your chances of getting a nail fungus are greatly reduced. If you do develop a fungus, you must start a nail fungus treatment before the condition worsens. We will now go over the best nail fungus cure. Nail fungus treatment. One of the biggest mistakes we see in nail fungus treatment is trying a home remedy for nail fungus. Many patients spend months trying treatments like vinegar, bleach, rubbing alcohol and even Listerine. Unfortunately except in rare cases, these home remedies don't work. And since you are wasting time trying them, your fungus can actually worsen. The two most popular prescription medications are Sporanox capsules and Lamisil tablets. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a public health advisory in May 2001 concerning Sporanox (itraconazole) capsules and Lamisil (terbinafine hydrochloride) tablets for the treatment of nail fungus. You need to discuss this with your doctor before starting any medication. That's it! Thank you. Please subscribe, comment and like this video if it was helpful! See you soon!

http://goo.gl/caJjap - How my husband got rid of nail fungus very fast and easy! Great treatment. Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about When Should You Suspect That You Have Nail Fungus. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how I got rid of nail fungus fast and easy! I was so happy it worked! But back to our topic. Onychomycosis. It doesn't sound good, doesn't look good and it doesn't make you feel good. Onychomycosis is what is commonly known as nail fungus in English. The fungus manifests itself as a white or yellow spot underneath the tip of your fingernail or toenail. As the fungus develops, it will cause discoloration, thickening and crumbly edges to your nail. It is far from being a pleasant sight and it can be very painful. Fifty per cent of nail disorders is attributed to nail fungus. Fungi love warm and moist environments. Shower floors or wet shoes serve as their breeding grounds. Nail fungus is different from an athlete's foot. However, the fungi that cause them may be the same. Treatment for nail fungus may be a bit complicated but medications to eliminate it are readily available. How Do You Know That You Have Nail Fungus? Nail fungus is caused by microorganisms that are not dependent on light for their survival. A warm and moist environment is a perfect setup for the growth of fungi. The kind of fungus that affects human nails often passes through skin cuts between the nail and the nail bed that are not visible to the naked eye. The toenails are more prone to having fungus infections since they are often confined inside the shoes. Also, blood circulation is impeded in the toenails, making them susceptible to diseases. An infected nail is thickened, brittle, crumbly, distorted and lacks luster. There is also build-up of debris under the nail. Risk Factors. Older people are more prone to acquiring nail fungus. The slow growth and thickening of nail as someone ages, make a person more prone to infection. Men are more susceptible to the fungus compared to women. Family history is also a big factor. Several factors may increase the chances of getting fungus: - Smoking. - Heavy perspiration. - Frequent exposure to humid and warm environment. - Socks that are too tight, impeding blood flow. - Walking barefoot in public places like pools, shower rooms, gyms. - Presence of minor skin or nail injury or infection. - Diabetes. - Weak immune system. Treatment. A simple nail fungus infection can be very painful and affect someone's day to day activities. If not treated immediately, it may lead to other infections that may spread to other parts of the body. People with weak immune system or other medical conditions like diabetes, should not take nail fungus lightly since they may cause a serious health problem. After the laboratory tests, your doctor may ask you to take oral antifungal medicines. These drugs will help in the re-growth of nails without infection. The medication should be taken for six to 12 weeks to ensure that the fungus will be eliminated. Exposure to an environment that is considered breeding grounds of fungi, may cause the recurrence of the infection. It is best to avoid going to warm, moist environment frequently. Another treatment option a doctor can give is an antifungal nail polish, which is ideal for mild to moderate infection. Topical treatment may also be suggested by your doctor to go with the oral medicine that you might be taking. The Internet is also a good place to know more about nail fungus. You can find and purchase treatment medicines through some websites. That's it! Thank you. Please subscribe, comment and like this video if it was helpful! See you soon!
