Clearly detoxing the kidneys is important for our health, and luckily it can be done quite simply when the right foods are consumed. Before we discuss the foods, it should be mentioned that drinking water is important for kidney health. Drinking enough water will help to flush out the kidneys, and allow it to even cleanse itself. Now lets discuss the foods for kidney cleansing. 1. Lemon juice can help with the overall health of our kidneys. Since it is naturally acidic, it can increase citrate levels in our urine, thereby decreasing the chances of kidney stones from forming. For best results, squeeze about one quarter to one half of a lemon into 8 ounces of hot water. This can be consumed daily. 2. Pumpkin seeds are also helpful. They are rich in a number of different vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. By reducing the risk of kidney stones, these seeds can help promote the overall health of our kidneys while also promoting kidney function, ensuring they are working at their best. As well, pumpkin seeds can protect your kidneys from free radical damage. 3. Cranberries are also rich in antioxidants and have other qualities that are especially good for our kidneys. They help to flush out uric acid from them which promotes increase function. Cranberry juice can also help prevent painful urinary tract infections. They also have antibacterial properties, which can flush out the kidneys and remove unwanted bacteria through the urine. As well, cranberries contain quinic acid, which is excreted through the urine. By raising the acidity of the urine only slightly, it can help prevent the formation of insoluble stones.. 4. The herb ginger has powerful antioxidant compounds which are beneficial for kidney function. This allows it to help flush our toxins and unhealthy materials out of the kidneys specifically, while also improving your digestion. Ginger is also known for having cleansing properties while it rids the kidney and blood of toxins. Sipping on ginger tea is a great way to get its benefits. Just simmer 2 teaspoons of freshly grated ginger in a couple of cups of water for roughly 10 minutes. It can be mixed with lemon juice for increased kidney cleansing benefits. 5. Like ginger, turmeric is another herb that has great cleansing properties. Specifically, it can help to cleanse the kidneys, while also helping to detoxify the blood. Turmeric is also great for these organs since it contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to prevent or treat inflammation found within our kidneys and any other infections there. You can add a little bit of raw turmeric powder to your meals to gain these benefits, or simmer 1/2 teaspoon of the powder in about 2 cups of boiling water to enjoy turmeric tea. 6. Lastly, parsley is a natural diuretic that can cleanse the kidneys when consumed. This herb can promote increased urine output because of this, which allows for unwanted bacteria and toxins to be flushed out of the kidneys. It can also help to treat kidney stones and urinary tract infections as well. Try drinking parsley tea to cleanse the kidneys but adding roughly 1 tablespoon of crushed parsley to a cup of boiling water. Steep for 5 minutes, then strain. Consume the tea for about a week. They work by inhibiting the enzyme Cyclooxygenase, which is responsible for catalyzing the formation of prostaglandins and thromboxane from arachidonic acid. Prostaglandins have a wide range of functions within the body including the regulation of inflammation. Therefore, by stopping the synthesis of prostaglandins, an overall anti-inflammatory effect occurs COX has two main isoenzymes, COX-1 and COX-2. COX-1 has a role in many physiological processes, one of which is protecting the stomach mucosa from the acidic environment. COX-2, on the other hand, mainly functions in inflammation. Therefore, the wanted effects of NSAIDs are actually from inhibiting COX-2 specifically. Most NSAIDs are non-selective COX inhibitors, meaning that they inhibit both COX 1 and 2. As a result, prostaglandin levels in the stomach can be reduced and the risk of stomach or duodenum ulceration increases. Selective COX-2 inhibitors were developed to avoid this problem, but in practice they are usually used for different conditions and they present with their own set of adverse effects which we won’t delve into today. Most of you already know a lot about the beneficial properties of tomatoes, but not everyone knows that you can cure varicose veins naturally with the help of tomatoes. Tomato has healing properties because of an aspirin-like substance found in the fruit. This acid is considered to be an anticoagulant and natural blood thinner. In addition, tomato has flavonoids that strengthen the blood vessel walls. There are two great natural remedies for varicose veins using green and red ripe tomatoes. 1- Varicose veins natural treatment with green tomatoes Green tomato is a very simple home remedy to get rid of varicose veins. All you need to do is to wash a few green tomatoes and cut them into circle slices (or rings). Then place the slices of green tomatoes on the nodes of varicose veins and the vein capillary network. If necessary, fixate them with some bandage. Keep the tomato slices at these locations until you feel a tingling sensation on the skin. If you cannot stand the feeling, remove the tomato slices as soon as you feel a burning sensation, and wash the veins with cold water. The results will be visible very soon, if this procedure goes well. For better results, repeat the procedure 5 times a day, continuously. Two weeks after you started this natural treatment, the venous nodes will start to fade.
