🎥 ABOUT THIS VIDEO 🎥
In today's video I share how I put together a DIY Spindle Box using a cardboard box, toilet paper rolls, and popsicle sticks. Ordinarily a montessori spindle box would go from 0-9. I had mine go from 1-10 so that I could do some additional activities with the same math tool. I love for anything I make (and put that much time into) to have multiple purposes.
We are also able to do addition, subtraction, and different variations of making 10. The best part about this box is that we can use whatever type of manipulative or materials that we want to count with. For an extra bonus, we can also add fine motor tools such as tweezers to increase difficulty. I am so excited to use this tool with my boys.
