Hi, my name is Leslie Ostler and I work at Millcreek Women’s Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. I’m an obstetrician gynecologist and I deal with all ages of women’s healthcare from young, young girls through menopause. I did my education at the University of Utah and graduated from the University of Utah medical school and did residency at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa.
There is an individual approach for everyone as far as treating patients is concerned. Everyone deserves to be listened to so it is very important for me to try to listen to patients and take time with patients and that all of their questions are answered. I think it’s very important when someone comes to see me that they understand that I respect them as a person and that they have, other than their medical problems, they have a life going on besides that and that I understand that and try to incorporate that to their treatment. I think everyone is an individual and deserves to be listened to and treated as an individual.
I tend to focus a lot on preventative medicine. I also focus a lot on some of the difficult things that women deal with such as endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and I’ve done a lot of research in different areas.
I appreciate everyone that comes to see me, everyone has something different they are looking for in a physician. I think it’s very hard to be a patient, it’s hard for me to be a patient, and so I really respect and honor that you trust me to manage your healthcare needs and I try to find out what things that you are looking for and what answers you need in a provider.
