The first time I was on B17, my cancer went into remission. When I got off it because of the "cyanide scare" my cancer came back. After discovering that B17 is a concentrated form of apricot kernels, I learned that it can't be dangerous if taken in the appropriate doses. So, I refused chemo (which is FAR MORE DANGEROUS than B17, by the way). After two months passed with no conventional treatments at all, I got back on the B17. WITHIN TEN WEEKS of taking 500 mg twice a day, the B17 wiped out FIVE tumors, and I am now CANCER FREE! WILL B17 WORK ON ALL CANCERS? Dr. Krebs MD [who discovered B17] says "yes". Cancer cells all have the exact same characteristics. Cancer cells, no matter the type of cancer, are known as Trophoblasts. These cells contain an enzyme called Beta-glucosidase, also known as the unlocking enzyme. When Laetrile [B17] comes in contact with the enzyme beta-glucosidase, the Laetrile is broken down to form two molecules of glucose, one molecule of benzaldehyde and one molecule of hydrogen cyanide (HCN). Within the body, the cancer cell-and only the cancer cell-contains that enzyme. The key word here is that the HCN must be FORMED. It is not floating around freely in the Laetrile and then released. It must be manufactured. The enzyme beta-glucosidase, and only that enzyme, is capable of manufacturing the HCN from Laetrile thereby affecting the cancer cell-and only the cancer cell. Eye Exercises - Yoga for the Eyes Natural Vision Correction - Yoga For Eyes When the eyesight gets worse the optometrists prescribe eyeglasses. But before wearing them everyday try yogic eye exercises that existed for centuries and helped millions to get perfect vision back. Here is the short version of yogic eye exercises described in the book of Yogi Ramanantata. Start with massaging your lower eyelids with the tips of your ring fingers. Use short and gentle circular movements. Close your eyes half way down. You will notice that your upper lids constantly tremble with different amplitude. Concentrate your efforts on stopping this trembling. (Little hint -- it will be easier to do if you look at further objects). Slowly close your eyes, like your eyelids are made out of puffy cottony clouds. Think that your eyes get extremely comfortable in their position. The blood filled with the oxygen flows through your eye sockets. When you inhale imagine the breezy oxygenized air coming through your nose into the eyes. Exhale through the mouth. Breathe this way for one or two minutes and end this exercise with a smile. Concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose (in yoga practice it is called NASAGRA-DRUSHTY) Blink. Always remember about the blinking to lubricate your eyes, cleanse them and at the same time relax all of the muscles surrounding your eyes. Sit straight, look to the most left side and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Blink for a few seconds in order to relax your eyes. Repeat. Blink a few times. This exercise has to be repeated for other eye positions (right, up, bottom, right top corner, right bottom corner, left bottom corner and left top corner). Do not forget about blinking. Draw a horizontal number eight with your eyes. Blink Draw a circle with your eyes. Blink with your eyes closed. Perform Palming to relax your eyes after Stretching set of Eye Exercises. Spend 2 minutes to give yourself Eye Acupressure Massage to prepare your eyes for the Dynamic Eye Exercises. Sit straight. Look to the most left position and move your gaze to the most right position. Repeat 3 times. Blink a few times. Repeat looking up and down, diagonally (from the left top corner to the right bottom corner and from the top right corner to the left bottom corner). Each movement has to be repeated 3-4 times in the beginning. Do not forget to blink. Perform focusing exercises. Look at the tip of your nose and then on the far object and back to the tip of your nose. Repeat 10 times dynamically. Be inventive. Choose objects on the different distance and look at each of them. Well aren't apple seeds poisonous? There's been a ton of controversy about this subject, but I'll try to be as clear about it as possible. I grew up thinking, as most people do, that you should never eat apple seeds, or any other fruit seed for that matter. I was told that they are poisonous and could kill you. I was especially afraid of peach and apricot seeds. I remember refusing to eat a peach if I accidentally opened the pit while cutting the fruit up. I was scared to death that if I got even a molecule of that "poisonous" middle into my mouth that I would get sick and die ! Well recently I found that all that conventional learning was completely false. In fact, not only is the pit of peaches and other fruit seeds not poisonous, they are actually good for you and have been proven to prevent and cure cancer! Big pharmaceutical companies of course don't want you to know that, so they perpetuate the belief that eating fruit seeds can kill you. These people that are saying that apple seeds are poisonous are referring to the amygdalin that is present in apple seeds and in other fruit seeds in the rose family. And they are right, these seeds do contain this chemical, which is made up of four components: two of them are glucose, one is cyanide and the other is benzaldyhide. Wait a minute! Cyanide and benzaldyhide? Yes. They are poisonous, but only if they are released or freed as pure molecules and not bound within other molecular formations, such as in fruit seeds. These seeds are safe to eat because the cyanide remains bound and locked as part of another molecule. Another reason they are safe and good for you is because there is an enzyme in normal, healthy cells called rhodanese that actually catches any free cyanide molecules and renders them harmless by combining them with sulfur. This chemical reaction converts the cyanide into cyanate, which is a neutral substance. Cyanate is then passed safely through the urine. But cancer cells do not have this rhodanese. They contain beta-glucosidase, which is not found in normal cells. Beta-glucosidase is an enzyme that, instead of binding cyanide with sulfur to make it neutral, releases both the cyanide and the benzaldyhide, which destroys the cancer cell by creating a toxic synergy. So amygdalin will destroy unhealthy cells, like cancer, while leaving healthy ones alone because of the protective enzymes in the healthy cells and the releasing enzymes in the cancer cells. Compared to conventional treatments for cancer, which destroy ALL cells, healthy and unhealthy alike, the amygdalin in fruit seeds is a much better way to go. Most people don't know about this enzymatic reaction in the cells, so they assume that if you eat apple seeds, which do contain cyanide, you will die. I've even seen some articles state that if you eat a few apple seeds that you should immediately go to the doctor to get your stomach pumped! How ridiculous! There are many good resources on finding out more information about amygdalin in apple seeds and apricot kernels. One of my favorites is "World Without Cancer" by G. Edward Griffin. You should read it. The next time you eat an apple, don't throw away those yummy and healthy seeds! In my opinion, they kind of taste like really strong almonds. My kids eat them with the apple. They put a seed in their mouth and then take a bite of apple. If you don't like the taste of the seeds, you can do it that way because the sweetness of the apple masks the flavor of the seed. Do the same thing with your peaches and apricots. The kernel inside the pit is very bitter, but it is full of good amygdalin that will fight off any unhealthy cells in your body. If you are still a little wary that you will get poisoned if you eat too much, a good rule of thumb is to only eat as many seeds as you would eat if you ate the whole fruit along with the seeds. In other words, if you would be able to eat let's say 3 apricots, then eating 3 apricot seeds would be fine for you. I hope I didn't get too technical with all the enzyme stuff. And I hope that you will now see how good apple seeds are for you. " A (whole) apple a day keeps the doctor away " may be more true than you think !

Nitric Oxide - Coronary Heart Disease http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V4iRxD3De8 Nitric oxide (NO) is produced by many cells in the body; however, its production by vascular endothelium is particularly important in the regulation of blood flow. Because of its importance in vascular function, abnormal production of NO, as occurs in different disease states, can adversely affect blood flow and other vascular functions. NO Biosynthesis NO is produced from the amino acid L-arginine by the enzymatic action of nitric oxide synthase (NOS). There are two endothelial forms of NOS: constitutive NOS (cNOS; type III) and inducible NOS (iNOS; type II). Co-factors for NOS include oxygen, NADPH, tetrahydrobiopterin and flavin adenine nucleotides. In addition to endothelial NOS, there is a neural NOS (nNOS; type I) that serves as a transmitter in the brain and in different nerves of the peripheral nervous system, such as non-adrenergic, non-cholinergic (NANC) autonomic nerves that innervate penile erectile tissues and other specialized tissues in the body to produce vasodilation. Under normal, basal conditions in blood vessels, NO is continually being produced by cNOS. The activity of cNOS is calcium and calmodulin dependent. There are two basic pathways for the stimulation of cNOS, both of which involve release of calcium ions from subsarcolemmal storage sites. First, shearing forces acting on the vascular endothelium generated by blood flow causes a release of calcium and subsequent cNOS activation. Therefore, increases in blood flow stimulate NO formation (flow-dependent NO formation). Second, endothelial receptors for a variety of ligands stimulate calcium release and subsequent NO production (receptor-stimulated NO formation). Included are receptors for acetylcholine, bradykinin, substance-P, adenosine, and many others vasoactive substances. In the late 1970s, Dr. Robert Furchgott observed that acetylcholine released a substance that produced vascular relaxation, but only when the endothelium was intact. This observation opened this field of research and eventually led to his receiving a Nobel prize. Initially, Furchgott called this substance endothelium-derived relaxing factor (EDRF), but by the mid-1980 he and others identified this substance as being NO. The other isoform of endothelial NOS is iNOS. It differs, in part, from cNOS in that its activation is calcium independent. Under normal, basal conditions, the activity of iNOS is very low. The activity of iNOS is stimulated during inflammation by bacterial endotoxins (e.g., lipopolysaccharide) and cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and interleukins. During inflammation, the amount of NO produced by iNOS may be a 1,000-fold greater than that produced by cNOS. Intracellular Mechanisms When NO forms, it has a half-life of only a few seconds, in large part because superoxide anion has a high affinity for NO (both molecules have an unpaired electron making them highly reactive). Therefore, superoxide anion reduces NO bioavailability. NO also avidly binds to the heme moiety of hemoglobin (in red blood cells) and the heme moiety of the enzyme guanylyl cyclase, which is found in vascular smooth muscle cells and most other cells of the body. Therefore, when NO is formed by vascular endothelium, it rapidly diffuses into the blood where it binds to hemoglobin and subsequently broken down. It also diffuses into the vascular smooth muscle cells adjacent to the endothelium where it binds to and activates guanylyl cyclase. This enzyme catalyzes the dephosphorylation of GTP to cGMP, which serves as a second messenger for many important cellular functions, particularly for signalling smooth muscle relaxation. Cyclic GMP induces smooth muscle relaxation by multiple mechanisms including increased intracellular cGMP, which inhibits calcium entry into the cell, and decreases intracellular calcium concentrations (click here for details) activates K+ channels, which leads to hyperpolarization and relaxation stimulates a cGMP-dependent protein kinase that activates myosin light chain phosphatase, the enzyme that dephosphorylates myosin light chains, which leads to smooth muscle relaxation. Because of the central role of cGMP in NO-mediated vasodilation, drugs (e.g., Viagra®) that inhibit the breakdown of cGMP (cGMP-dependent phosphodiesterase inhibitors) are used to enhance NO-mediated vasodilation, particularly in penile erectile tissue in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Slowly close your eyes, like your eyelids are made out of puffy cottony clouds. Think that your eyes get extremely comfortable in their position. The blood filled with the oxygen flows through your eye sockets. When you inhale imagine the breezy oxygenized air coming through your nose into the eyes. Exhale through the mouth. Breathe this way for one or two minutes and end this exercise with a smile. Concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose (in yoga practice it is called NASAGRA-DRUSHTY) Blink. Always remember about the blinking to lubricate your eyes, cleanse them and at the same time relax all of the muscles surrounding your eyes. Sit straight, look to the most left side and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Blink for a few seconds in order to relax your eyes. Repeat. Blink a few times. This exercise has to be repeated for other eye positions (right, up, bottom, right top corner, right bottom corner, left bottom corner and left top corner). Do not forget about blinking. Draw a horizontal number eight with your eyes. Blink Draw a circle with your eyes. Blink with your eyes closed. Perform Palming to relax your eyes after Stretching set of Eye Exercises. Spend 2 minutes to give yourself Eye Acupressure Massage to prepare your eyes for the Dynamic Eye Exercises. Sit straight. Look to the most left position and move your gaze to the most right position. Repeat 3 times. Blink a few times. Repeat looking up and down, diagonally (from the left top corner to the right bottom corner and from the top right corner to the left bottom corner). Each movement has to be repeated 3-4 times in the beginning. Do not forget to blink. Perform focusing exercises. Look at the tip of your nose and then on the far object and back to the tip of your nose. Repeat 10 times dynamically. Be inventive. Choose objects on the different distance and look at each of them. What's more, taking L-arginine in combination with ribonucleic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) may reduce recovery time, protect against infection, and promote wound healing after surgery. According to the NIH, there's not yet enough evidence to rate the effectiveness of L-arginine in treatment of migraines, dementia, high blood pressure, male infertility, and the common cold. It's also unknown whether L-arginine can boost the immune system and/or improve athletic performance. Additionally, L-arginine appears ineffective for prevention of heart attack and treatment of preeclampsia.

In France she says the number is less than half a percent. Why don't French kids have ADHD? Is ADHD a biological-neurological disorder? Surprisingly, the answer to this question depends on whether you live in France or in the United States. In the United States, child psychiatrists consider ADHD to be a biological disorder with biological causes. The preferred treatment is also biological­—psycho stimulant medications such as Ritalin and Adderall. French child psychiatrists, on the other hand, view ADHD as a medical condition that has psycho-social and situational causes. Instead of treating children's focusing and behavioral problems with drugs, French doctors prefer to look for the underlying issue that is causing the child distress—not in the child's brain but in the child's social context. They then choose to treat the underlying social context problem with psychotherapy or family counseling. This is a very different way of seeing things from the American tendency to attribute all symptoms to a biological dysfunction such as a chemical imbalance in the child's brain. The real question is not "Why don't French kids have ADHD?" The real question is "Why do American kids have it?" After all, we're the ones who are abnormal. We really don't have an ADHD epidemic in this country. Our brains are not less healthy than the French. Instead, we have an epidemic of parents looking for a scientific excuse for their own disappointment in their children, and we have a glut of lazy doctors willing to prescribe whatever drugs parents request. Hyperactivity? Yes, many of our children are hyperactive. Inability to focus? Yes, many of our children cannot focus their attention on a particular task. I'm not saying that the symptoms of ADHD aren't real. These symptoms, however, do not stem from biological imbalances that require medication. The problem isn't our children; the problem is us. We've created their social context, and it's not a place where they can thrive. It's time to admit that parents are the problem, not the children. Let me add that I don't think that parents need medication either. Maybe we can learn from the French.

Fatty Liver Treatment Fatty Liver Disease What is a fatty liver? A fatty liver is the result of the accumulation of excess fat in liver cells. Fatty tissue slowly builds up in the liver when a person's diet exceeds the amount of fat his or her body can handle. A person has a fatty liver when fat makes up at least 5-10% of the liver. Simple fatty liver can be a completely benign condition and usually does not lead to liver damage. However, once there is a buildup of simple fat, the liver becomes vulnerable to further injury, which may result in inflammation and scarring of the liver. What causes fatty liver disease? The most common cause of fatty liver disease in Canada is obesity. Whereas several decades ago obesity was not very common, according to current statistics more than 50% of Canadians are overweight. It is estimated that 75% of obese individuals are at risk of developing a simple fatty liver. Up to 23% of obese individuals are at risk of developing fatty liver with inflammation. Besides obesity, nutritional causes of fatty liver disease are: starvation and protein malnutrition, long term use of total parenteral nutrition (a feeding procedure that involves infusing nutrients directly into the blood stream), intestinal bypass surgery for obesity, rapid weight loss. Certain conditions often accompany and may contribute to fatty liver disease: diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia (elevated lipids in the blood), insulin resistance and high blood pressure. Other causes include: genetic factors, drugs and chemicals such as alcohol, corticosteroids, tetracycline and carbon tetrachloride. Fatty liver is also known as NASH, which stands for Non- Alcoholic Steatorrhoeic Hepatosis or Non-Alcoholic-Fatty-Liver-Disease (NAFLD) but don't be put off by these big terms -- they just mean that your liver is being invaded with fat! Fatty liver or NASH, is very common in overweight persons, over the age of 30. Liver dysfunction is very common and an increasing problem. How do you know if you have a fatty liver? You will probably be overweight, especially in the abdominal area You will find it very hard to lose weight You may have elevated cholesterol and triglycerides in your blood You may have Syndrome X You may have diabetes type 2 You will be very tired You may have problems with your immune system The consequences of a fatty liver The healthy liver regulates fat metabolism and is the major fat-burning organ in the body. Indeed the healthy liver not only burns fat, it can pump excessive fat out of your body through the bile into the gut. Thus, if your liver is healthy you will not have much difficulty in controlling your weight. Conversely a liver which is fatty is doing the opposite of what it should be doing. A fatty liver is storing fat when it should be burning fat and removing excess fat from your body. Far from it, Codex has wiggled its dirty little tentacles into just about every national or international body concerned with public health. Posing as a benefactor, it then uses its significant financial and political clout to do its masters bidding.
